After training, I wanted to have a quick lunch, so I decided to stop by this restaurant. It's rare to find a place that serves xiaolongbao, so I was grateful for that. But today, I chose the beef vermicelli instead. Vermicelli is not a common menu item in every Chinese restaurant, so I was happy about that. The lunch set also came with egg soup and almond jelly. The portion of vermicelli was quite generous and satisfying! The soup was delicious too. The vermicelli was also tasty! When cooking at home, it's hard to get the vegetables crispy and the seafood perfectly cooked, so I think eating Chinese food at a restaurant is the best. The seafood was not overcooked, and the seasoning of the vermicelli was just right and delicious. I will definitely come back for lunch again!

We randomly entered a Chinese restaurant in Midtown and ordered yakisoba set and mapo tofu set for two people. We each had two beers, totaling around 5,000 yen. The mapo tofu was quite spicy and they had black vinegar on the table which was delicious when added to the yakisoba. They were able to fulfill our request for noodles, which made us happy and lifted our spirits. The draft beer wasn't very smooth with fine bubbles.

A reasonably priced restaurant in Roppongi where you can enjoy various Chinese dishes like dim sum and fried rice. It's conveniently located right next to the station with great accessibility. The food is delicious, but it feels like it's missing something. For example, the black vinegar spare ribs sweet and sour pork are juicy and tasty, but each piece is too big to fit in your mouth and too difficult to cut with a knife due to the bones. I had to eat it like a wild animal, reminiscent of the dinosaur exhibition at Roppongi Midtown. The spicy chicken was unexpectedly hot, so I avoided the chili peppers on top and balanced it out with the slightly sweet sticky rice dumplings. The soup dumplings were piping hot and absolutely delicious.

I was recommended this place by a friend when we were talking about the various lunch options at Tokyo Midtown. I visited the next day and arrived around 12:30 pm to find a line already formed. However, the turnover was quick so I was able to get in soon. The lunch set was very reasonable, with a yakisoba set that included soup dumplings for around 1250 yen. They also have a good selection of bento boxes for takeout. The menu is quite extensive. Thank you for the delicious meal.

It's been a while since I visited. Whenever I go to Midtown alone, I always end up here because I crave xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) haha. The lunch set with xiaolongbao and Shanghai fried noodles for 1,380 yen is quite cost-effective in the Roppongi area. The xiaolongbao here is really delicious!!! It's of a quality that can rival famous restaurants, so I highly recommend it.

Dinner use. Weekday nights are relatively empty, so it's convenient for when you want to quickly eat or have a light drink before heading home. The hot and sour noodle soup is seasoned with plenty of pepper for a punchy flavor. Personally, I like to increase the sourness, so I add the vinegar provided at the table to adjust the taste to my liking. It's also very filling with a satisfying amount.

I want to shout "Amazon!" because it's so hot in Roppongi at lunchtime. Despite the coolness of Midtown, I'm in the mood for cold noodles, so I head to this place. Although the signature menu is the set with xiao long bao and half-fried soba with soup, I stick to my original plan and order the cold noodles for 1,350 yen. The cold noodles arrive in about 5 minutes. I lightly mix them before digging in. The noodles, finished in cold water, have a good chewy texture, and the standard vinegar soy sauce dressing is refreshing. The cold noodles come with ham, grilled chicken, shredded omelette, imitation crab meat, cucumber, tomato, and watercress for a colorful presentation. Among them, the grilled chicken seems like a good match for beer. I chewed the noodles slowly and thoroughly enjoyed them, so I feel quite satisfied. I feel refreshed with the cold noodles. Overall, I'm satisfied with the cold noodles, but next time, I think I'll go for the signature xiao long bao set after all.

The Chinese restaurant specializes in xiaolongbao, and since it was around 19:00, there were no customers inside. It seems like lunch is more popular and cost-effective. Dinner only offers a la carte options, which may not be the best value. The rice dumplings were delicious! The skin was thin and had a chewy texture. The xiaolongbao was also tasty with plenty of juicy meat inside. They were not too hot, making them easy to eat. The mapo tofu had a tangy and slightly spicy flavor, but not overly hot. Although not listed on the menu, they also offer plain white rice.

I wanted to order a fried rice set, but they said their steamer was broken, so they couldn't provide the soup dumplings that come with the set, resulting in almost all of the set menu being unavailable. There was apparently a sign in front of the store, but I missed it. I wish they had mentioned it when they gave me the menu. I ended up ordering fried vermicelli instead. The crunchy texture of the vegetables was good and it was delicious.

Sunday at 3:00 PM, available. Located in Midtown B1, this restaurant has a cafeteria-style atmosphere.
- Hot and Sour Soup (1 serving) for ¥500: Sour and spicy as expected. Tastier than anticipated, a great choice.
- 5 x Xiao Long Bao for ¥980: The skin is a bit lacking. The twisted part at the top is thick and hard. The filling tastes good, but lacks harmony with the skin.
- Stir-Fried Squid and Celery in Chinese Soy Sauce for ¥1520: The sweet Chinese soy sauce flavor is delicious, but the squid is a bit soft and lacks flavor. They use a squid with a body size similar to a small octopus, which is not as flavorful. The celery is crunchy and good.
Total: ¥3000
The Xiao Long Bao at the South Beauty restaurant in Roppongi Hills is much better.

I had limited time in Midtown and was looking for a quick place to eat, so I decided to enter this restaurant. The food was delicious, served quickly, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was welcoming for solo diners as well. My friend and I ordered the Xiao Long Bao set for 1,620 yen and the Hot and Sour Noodles for 1,100 yen. The Xiao Long Bao was piping hot and delicious! The yakisoba in the set was okay. The Hot and Sour Noodles were also piping hot and delicious, although I almost burned my mouth! This restaurant is perfect for a quick meal rather than a leisurely dining experience. The turnover seemed fast too.

I visited the "Kyoto - Chishakuin's Treasures" exhibition at the Suntory Museum of Art. It is a rare exhibition in Tokyo showcasing the stunning wall paintings produced by Hasegawa Tōhaku. This exhibition marks the first time that the national treasures "Maple Tree" and "Cherry Blossoms" wall paintings are being simultaneously displayed outside of the temple, providing a valuable opportunity to experience the exquisite and luxurious beauty of the Momoyama period. For lunch, I went to Senri Uma Nanshō Kōrō at Tokyo Midtown. It was lunchtime, and many working people were enjoying their meals. I had a set of xiaolongbao and Shanghai-style fried noodles. The xiaolongbao is filled with sweet simmered pork and collagen-rich skin that has been repeatedly filtered to transparency. The Shanghai-style fried noodles were hot and light, with a mild soup. The xiaolongbao was delicious.

I visited the restaurant at exactly 12:00 on a regular day and was torn between ordering Mapo Tofu and Xiao Long Bao, but decided to go with Xiao Long Bao in the end. I ordered a set of Xiao Long Bao and Shanghai Yakisoba. The Shanghai Yakisoba was different from what I had imagined, more like Japanese Yakisoba with thin noodles. The taste was still good though. The Xiao Long Bao was easy to eat, not too hot to burn my mouth, and I enjoyed it at a comfortable temperature.

During lunchtime, when all the other places were crowded and I was unsure where to line up, I came across this shop. It faces the outside walkway of Midtown, so it was relatively empty and I was able to get in right away, so I visited for the first time. I ordered the Xiao Long Bao with fried rice set for 1350 yen, and the mushroom and beef stir-fry set (weekly lunch special) for 1100 yen. Both come with soup and almond jelly, and the set meal also includes one siu mai, so it feels like a good deal. The fried rice was a bit greasy and mushy, but the Xiao Long Bao was delicious with plenty of juicy meat inside. The soup was okay, I could do without it. The mushroom and beef stir-fry had plenty of beef chunks and was very satisfying. The only downside was that the vegetables were cut too big and stood out too much. This place is very affordable with all the things you get for the price. Thank you for the meal.

There is a restaurant in Roppongi Midtown with various dining options, and I visited because I wanted to eat xiaolongbao. I ordered the Tantanmen for 980 yen and the Xiaolongbao Shanghai Yakisoba set for 1300 yen. The Tantanmen tasted as it looked, with a hint of sweetness from the meat, and the spiciness kicked in after I finished eating. There was a lot of bean sprouts, and the noodles disappeared quickly. I forgot to take a picture of the ramen, but the Shanghai Yakisoba was delicious, with crispy cabbage and a flavorful mix of oil and sauce. The noodles disappeared quickly here too. The Xiaolongbao was decent. I would like to try other menu items as well. This seems like a good place to enjoy Chinese food conveniently when it's not too crowded. Thank you for the meal.

I wanted to eat Chinese food for lunch at the office, and I heard that the yakisoba was delicious, so I tried it for the first time. The yakisoba was indeed delicious, and the set with xiaolongbao was amazing. I could even eat 5 xiaolongbao, which was pure bliss! The soup that came with it was perfect for the cold winter. It was great for when you want to eat something hearty.

It's been a while since I revisited this place. I arrived at noon on a weekday and about 90% of the tables were already occupied. The restaurant is located underground in Midtown, so it's a safe option even when it's raining.
I ordered the mapo tofu set meal for 950 yen and a small lunch beer for 390 yen. The set meal comes with free rice refills, but the portion of mapo tofu was a bit small, so one beer was just right. The meal also came with soup and almond jelly. I felt like ordering one more dish.

I used it for an early Sunday dinner. We ordered xiaolongbao for two, beef and mushroom La Mian, and pea shoots stir-fry, which cost around 4500 yen. The pea shoots stir-fry was a bit pricey at around 1200 yen considering the portion size, but the taste was not bad. The noodles had plenty of toppings and soup. The sweetness was a bit noticeable, and I wish it had a bit less salt, but overall it was good. The xiaolongbao had a proper soup filling instead of just fat, and although the tips of the skin were slightly tough, overall the xiaolongbao was quite good. They serve it piping hot, so if you have a sensitive tongue, you might have to wait a bit. The location is small, and the staff's friendliness is lacking, but considering the location in Midtown, I think it's a convenient place for a casual meal.
