Today, I visited a yakitori restaurant in Meguro that has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog. The restaurant, although listed under a different name, seems to be affiliated with "Torisawa" and "Torisawa 22," both of which have been awarded the Tabelog Award BRONZE. I made a reservation for a seat at 8:30 PM on the weekend and arrived at the restaurant. There is no sign outside, so it can be a bit confusing to find, but it is located between an izakaya and a sushi restaurant. The interior is chic. The clientele seemed to be mostly young couples, with most of the men looking like they were from the Exile group, although there was only one person who actually was. The rest of the customers were a diverse mix of people of all ages and genders. As a solo diner, I was seated at the end of the counter, which felt a bit lonely. It didn't seem like the kind of yakitori restaurant that warmly welcomes unknown solo diners right in front of the grill. The restaurant operates on an omakase (chef's choice) style. I started with a beer and then ordered some cold sake. The dishes I had included: - Cucumber pickles - Grated daikon radish - Raw liver sashimi - Heart meat skewers - Rare grilled chicken tenderloin with wasabi - Chicken meatball with shiso leaf - Shishito peppers - Quail eggs - Gizzard - Thick fried tofu - Liver - Ginkgo nuts - Round heart skewer - Grilled chicken thigh - Grilled chicken soft bone - Grilled chicken skin - Lotus root - Shoulder meat - Egg over rice - Chicken soup The portions were generous and the yakitori was juicy and delicious. The heart meat and grilled chicken tenderloin with wasabi were particularly outstanding. However, the bill came out to be 18,000 yen, which was quite pricey. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Torisawa, located just a short walk from Naka-Meguro Station, is known for its great location. This was my first visit, and I brought two friends who love yakitori. We arrived for the second seating at 8:30 PM, so we enjoyed some beers nearby before entering. Here is the lineup of the course we ordered: liver sashimi, shiwasu yaki (quail), gizzard, thick fried tofu, ginkgo nuts, tsukune (chicken meatballs), liver with lotus root, lantern pepper, corn, breast meat, duck heart, and minced chicken rice bowl. Each dish had a delicious flavor with perfect cooking, but the standout dishes were the shiwasu yaki and liver sashimi. Both showcased the freshness and quality of the chicken. The liver sashimi, especially, was great with wasabi. The shiwasu yaki had a soft, fluffy texture with a light pink color in the center. I appreciated the generous amount of wasabi compared to other places. The cooking was excellent, with each dish being juicy and perfect for pairing with drinks. The wine selection was a bit limited, but yakitori with sake is always a winning combination. I will definitely be back.

Second visit. I made sure not to overeat this time. We were served chicken breast, liver sashimi, heart, meatballs, shishito peppers, knee cartilage, mochi, green onion with gizzard, thick fried tofu, bonchiri (chicken tail), eggplant, and for the last skewer, we chose chicken without any sauce. We finished with a Keema curry flavored with sansho pepper. The chicken was tender and juicy. Thank you for the meal.

Leaving aside my photography skills, the taste of the dishes, the timing of service, and the staff's hospitality were all perfect♡ The menu is chef's choice, but they ask about preferences and dislikes in detail, which is nice. I like to focus on drinks, but I also want to enjoy a proper meal in the end, so this yakitori restaurant is perfect for me! I will definitely visit again!!

For those who are young and want to eat a lot, a hearty portion size may be good, but as you get older, you may want to eat good food little by little. Perfect for adults♡ The way the skewers are made is very beautiful. The careful work is very appealing. First, cucumber is served. ⚪︎ Liver sashimi ⚪︎ Heart meat - firm and juicy, with juicy fat. ⚪︎ Chicken breast ⚪︎ Shishito peppers ⚪︎ Chicken tenderloin ⚪︎ Quail eggs - the yolk is creamy. Quail eggs that are half-cooked!! ⚪︎ Grilled thick tofu - with great garnishes like large shiso leaves and myoga ginger. ⚪︎ Meatball skewers ⚪︎ Chicken tail ⚪︎ Ginkgo nuts ⚪︎ Chicken liver ⚪︎ Chicken heart? ⚪︎ Chicken wings ⚪︎ Corn ⚪︎ Rice with raw egg on top. I was impressed by the "chicken tail" - when you bite into the yolk part, it bursts with creamy yolk. Screw you, cholesterol!! The chicken liver was also rare and moist, delicious. In the past, there were customers who would complain if there was any raw part, but nowadays no one complains, they are actually happy. Maybe because it's a famous brand chicken, there are no bacteria... or maybe nowadays chicken meat doesn't have bacteria? I enjoyed the rareness and juiciness. The staff at the restaurant are friendly and easy to talk to. The drinks are reasonably priced, which is good. The price is a bit high for yakitori, but I was completely satisfied. Unpretentious restaurants are the best♡ Thank you for the feast♫ It's a restaurant I want to visit again.

I went to a restaurant alone after making a reservation online because it seemed like a popular place. The restaurant operates on an omakase (chef's choice) style. Lately, it seems like there are more restaurants with exteriors that don't look like typical yakitori places. The bill came to ¥10,200. It was disappointing and quite expensive! The dishes I tried included heart, breast meat, tsukune (meatballs), shishito peppers, quail eggs, duck, thick tofu, gizzard, ginkgo nuts, tail, and then I stopped and chose the chicken white broth noodles to finish. The omakase style made me feel full before getting to eat what I really wanted, so it wasn't to my liking. The chicken meat was overall greasy and heavy. The temperature of the ingredients was not hot enough, and the cooking seemed excessive. The pacing of the dishes being served was slow. The thick tofu was not tasty and unnecessary, and the liver was not delicious and cold inside. The sauce had a strange taste. Good yakitori is not just about the quality of the chicken meat, I suppose. I'm tired of the white broth noodles that are everywhere; I want to find a place with bonito broth soup. The color and texture of the counter inside the restaurant were not calming. I sometimes see black door yakitori places, but even when I get close, I can't figure them out. I really love the smell of the sauce cooking and the smoke outside yakitori places! It's the best to be lured in by that and enter while drooling. I will definitely do that without hesitation next time. This is just my personal opinion based on my own preferences, so it's not a recommendation at all. I can't think of a situation where I would recommend this place. The restaurant is completely non-smoking.

I visited a famous yakitori restaurant in Tokyo with a friend who made a reservation for us. We had a course menu which included rare liver, tenderloin, thick tofu, tsukune, and gizzard skewers. We finished with a delicious soboro rice bowl. The yakitori was carefully grilled and delicious, and the staff were friendly and engaging, making the experience enjoyable. It was a great place to enjoy good food and drinks!

I finally went to Torizawa's Nakameguro store, which I've been wanting to visit for a long time. It was very delicious! I had grilled chicken hearts, tsukune (chicken meatballs), grilled chicken breast, shishito peppers, gizzards, thick fried tofu, chicken neck, new onions, grilled chicken liver, ginkgo nuts, shoulder meat, chicken skin, hugging meat, okra, chicken cartilage, chicken wings, and chicken tail. I also had cold noodles and minced chicken bowl as a finishing touch. It was so delicious that I want to go again!

It was incredibly delicious. The yakitori was juicy and had a satisfying texture, with a clear taste of the meat but not greasy. It paired especially well with white wine!! I was full and appreciated the stop system, but I deducted some points because I couldn't figure out the detailed prices. I had the items in the photo, white wine asatsuyu for 8000 yen, two highballs, and one juice, totaling 29800 yen.

I visited for the first time. I had heard that it was a famous restaurant, and finally had the chance to visit. The course was all-you-can-eat with a stop system, so when I was quite full, I stopped and had the closing rice dish. This is a restaurant that can be used for business scenes or dates.

Located just a 2-minute walk from Naka-Meguro Station, "Torizawa" is a popular yakitori restaurant along the Meguro River. This restaurant was opened by Mr. Nakazawa, who branched out from the renowned yakitori restaurant "Torishiki" in July 2020. In September of last year, "Torizawa Roppongi" was also opened. Both the Naka-Meguro and Roppongi locations have been selected as one of the top 100 yakitori restaurants on Tabelog. The interior of the restaurant features a chic black counter with 10 seats, allowing diners to enjoy the live cooking of the yakitori. The only course available is an omakase course priced at 10,000 yen, with a first seating from 17:30 to 20:00 (last entry at 18:00) and a second seating from 20:30 to 23:00. The chicken used is the premium Osayama chicken. The course includes various skewers such as rare and juicy heart, tender and refreshing tsukune with a hint of shiso, delicate and moist sasami, flavorful and tender gizzard, and succulent seared liver. The course is well-balanced with simple vegetable skewers and rice at the end, ensuring a satisfying meal without overwhelming the palate. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I made a reservation about a week ago and went to the restaurant. It was the second round on Friday, starting at 20:30. Despite the heavy rain from Typhoon No. 2, we arrived about 3 minutes early and entered through the sliding door to find a counter seat in the shape of an L. We were seated at the 5th seat from the right, next to the grill. The group on the right consisted of two young men and one woman, while the group on the left was a young Chinese group of six men and women. We were the only middle-aged group! We started with Sapporo Red Star beer in medium bottles. The restaurant only offers set courses with a stop system. They mentioned that there would be a closing dish after the stop. They asked us about any dislikes at the beginning, but being omnivores, we had none. There was a grill in front of the counter, and it seemed like there was a kitchen behind the curtain. There were two men on the other side of the counter and two men behind the curtain handling the operation. We started eating. The dishes we had included cucumber pickles, liver sashimi with a light sauce, grated daikon radish, quail eggs with liquid yolks, grilled shishito peppers, thick tofu with sweet sauce, chicken gizzards, gingko nuts, grilled mushrooms, and more. The overall experience was of delicious yakitori, with the taste of the chicken coming through in the sauce. The liquid quail egg was a surprise. There wasn't one standout skewer, but they were all tasty. For the finale, we could choose from keema curry, minced meat rice bowl, cold noodles, or egg over rice. We were full and satisfied. Thank you for the meal. We headed back home in the heavy rain. 2023.6.2 3.74

This is a small yakitori restaurant located just to the right after crossing the Higashiyama Bridge in Nakameguro. The menu is omakase style, with their specialty being the Hatzumoto, which has a perfect texture and flavor that penetrates all the way through. I also tried liver sashimi for the first time in my life, and it was delicious.

We use this restaurant for important customer dinners. The yakitori is delicious, and the vegetables and thick fried tofu served in between are also tasty. I always end up eating too much. The number of seats is not large, so the staff's attention is always on point. My favorite is the paper lanterns! The minced meat bento box as a souvenir is also great to eat the next morning!

Torizawa is a yakitori restaurant in Naka-Meguro. It is located near the famous cherry blossom-lined Meguro River and is also close to the station. The restaurant has a counter that can seat around 10 people, with all tables and walls in black. Despite the austere atmosphere, the lively conversations of the customers create a vibrant ambiance. The restaurant operates on a two-shift system, serving skewers continuously until you are full. The overall impression is that the quality of the chicken is excellent. The grilling method ensures the inside remains juicy while the outside is perfectly cooked, achieving a balance of tenderness and freshness. In addition to chicken, vegetables are also served between skewers. There are four types of rice dishes for the finale. Although I didn't find a favorite in the chicken and egg rice bowl, I did enjoy the minced meat rice bowl. Considering the reasonable prices, the satisfaction level is high.

Yakitori restaurant along the Meguro River near Naka-Meguro Station. I was able to make a same-day reservation and walk in. On a weekday Friday, all the other customers were couples, and I happened to get a table. The tables are made of stone, which feels nice and cool on this hot day. I have been to a sister restaurant before, but this one has a rare and delicious taste, with a bit of a slimy texture that is enjoyable. They also serve sashimi. The only downside is the poor sound quality of the background music, but overall, it was a great experience. The last dish we had was the Keema with Sansho pepper.

Apart from my despairingly bad photos, everything else was excellent - the taste, timing, and service were all top-notch. They only offer omakase, but they ask about any dislikes you may have. I'm more of a drinker (but I still want to eat something at the end), so I'm happy to have found a good yakitori restaurant that caters to my whims. I will definitely be visiting again!

Torisawa is a group restaurant under the same umbrella as the prestigious Torisawa, a top player in the yakitori industry. Located near Nakameguro Station, this black-themed restaurant offers a unique dining experience with a two-part seating system and a cozy atmosphere. The menu features a variety of yakitori dishes, with a focus on quality ingredients and expert grilling techniques. The wine selection is impressive, and the prices are reasonable. Each dish is carefully prepared and offers a delicious combination of flavors and textures. From grilled chicken hearts to quail eggs, every item on the menu is a delight for the taste buds. The service is attentive, and the overall dining experience is one to remember. If you're a fan of yakitori, Torisawa is definitely worth a visit.

The other day I went to Torizawa! It was a bit crowded with cherry blossom season starting, so it was a bit tough walking to the restaurant. The yakitori was incredibly delicious ❤️ I couldn't stop eating because everything was so tasty, and I left feeling very satisfied. I want to go back again soon!

The unique menu items like grilled chicken liver, heart, gizzards, quail, and chicken tenderloin were quite tasty. The minced chicken bowl with seaweed was delicious. However, considering the price of over 10,000 yen per person, it may not be worth it as the food is not exceptionally delicious.

Hello everyone. ZMA here. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom and everywhere is busy with drinking parties and graduation ceremonies. Today, I visited "Torizawa" in Naka-Meguro. The owner, Mr. Nakamura, who trained at Torizawa 22 in Kameido, has opened a yakitori restaurant here. Tokyo is currently in the midst of a yakitori boom, with popular and famous yakitori restaurants popping up everywhere. The menu is all-you-can-eat for around ¥13,000. The yakitori is served hot and fresh, making it a delicious experience. The vegetables in between are also appreciated. The meal ends with a choice of four different rice dishes. Overall, a satisfying yakitori experience. Thank you for the meal.
