I visited the Chinese restaurant "Shintenchi" near Shiba Koen Station. There are many Chinese restaurants in this area, and many of them are run by staff from China. The restaurant had a slightly luxurious atmosphere, and when I arrived around 1 pm, it was about 50% full. I ordered my favorite dish, the "Hoisin Pork Set Meal for 800 yen," and it was really good. It might be the best Hoisin Pork I've ever had! The seasoning, balance of ingredients, and cooking were all excellent. The restaurant is located in a slightly lonely corner of a shopping street, but the delicious Chinese food makes it worth a visit. I would like to try a different dish next time.

I visited the restaurant with a customer for lunch. I was almost becoming a lunch refugee, but luckily a table opened up and we were able to sit down. Since it was another hot day, I was craving something cold, so I immediately ordered the five-ingredient cold noodles from the menu. When it arrived, it was a bit different from what I had imagined, but it turned out to be my favorite flat Chinese noodles! Or rather, it was cold Chinese noodles. I wish it had more vegetables on top, but it was delicious nonetheless. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the office in Tamachi and had lunch. Today, I headed towards the Shibadokeshokai area. I was looking for cold noodles, but the first restaurant I went to didn't have them yet. As I continued walking, I found a restaurant that serves various types of cold noodles. I ordered the mapo tofu cold noodles with half fried rice. The lunch set also came with almond jelly, salad, and pickles. It looked very filling. The mapo tofu was a bit spicy and numbing. I found a lump of black substance in it, which turned out to be clumped cornstarch dissolved in water. The noodles were chewy and firm, but when mixed with the warm mapo tofu, it didn't feel like cold noodles anymore. The fried rice was lightly seasoned. The salad was just okay. All of this cost 900 yen, so in terms of cost performance, it was decent. Thank you for the meal.

This is a revisit for a solo lunch. The staff still seem incredibly busy. When sitting at a large table, different people's menus are placed on it, which is common. (Don't worry if your order hasn't been taken, they will come eventually. Just be patient.) Personally, I like the noodles here, and I visit often because they have many seats. Thank you for the meal.

I revisited the restaurant for lunch by myself. Today, I had the mapo tofu ramen. I honestly thought it would be about a ladle's worth of mapo tofu, but I was surprised to see that it was poured over the noodles so much that I couldn't see them. The taste was easy to eat yet still had an authentic feel, and it was delicious. I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I went to this restaurant for lunch by myself. The interior is spacious with plenty of seating, and mostly male customers. I ordered the set menu which included Five Ingredient Cold Noodles and half a Fried Rice. The portions were quite generous, which explains why there were mostly male customers. The Five Ingredient Cold Noodles had slightly thick noodles with a firm texture. The sauce was a soy sauce-based with a hint of acidity. It was delicious, but personally, I found the texture of the ham a bit off. The Fried Rice was lightly seasoned. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

In Little Chinatown on the Shiba Shopping Street, this Chinese restaurant offers the largest lunch sets with 16 regular options and 7-8 weekly specials. The portions are generous, but the quality is just average. Today, I tried the weekly special, Bang Bang Chicken Cold Noodles, which came with a side salad, half fried rice, greens, and almond jelly. The noodles were topped with steamed chicken, cucumber, tomato, shredded egg, and bean sprouts, all mixed with a sauce made from doubanjiang and sesame paste. The portion was quite large, and the flavors were decent. Overall, it's a good spot for a hearty meal, especially if you're craving Chinese cold noodles.

◆Xin Tian Di Zhi Gong Yuan is a typical mainland Chinese-style restaurant, with a spacious interior. However, the service lacks hospitality as they do not bring tea even after waiting for a long time. It feels like a rough mainland style restaurant.
◆The Five-Ingredient Tanmen set meal for 850 yen includes a flavorful soy-based soup with quail eggs, shrimp, squid, pork, wood ear mushrooms, and cabbage. The vegetables are abundant, and the thick noodles are satisfying. The main dish is definitely the highlight.
◆The Half-Fried Rice is the least amount of fried rice I have ever encountered in a Chinese restaurant. They should consider removing the "half" from the name as it is too little.
◆The pickled vegetables, almond jelly, and cabbage salad are average. The main dish is satisfying, but the side dishes could be improved. Overall, I wish they would offer the main dish at a more reasonable price.

After a long time, I felt like eating sweet and sour pork, so I went to a Chinese restaurant called "Shintenchi" near my office. I didn't have much appetite that day, but the portion was large and the flavor was a bit strong, so it took me a while to finish, but it was delicious.

The morning meeting ran late, so we decided to go to the nearby Chinese restaurant "Shintenchi." Last time, I had a hard time choosing between two options and ended up with the sweet and sour pork set meal, so this time I went with the "Ching Jao Lo Roast" set meal. It was unexpectedly generous in portion and delicious, and it made sense that the restaurant was bustling.

I ended up at a Chinese restaurant near the office for lunch. I chose the pork stir-fry set meal, which was delicious and had a generous portion. Next time, I want to try the "Chinjao Rosu" set meal that I hesitated between.

I heard that you can eat super spicy mapo tofu in this place called Spicy Street, but it wasn't spicy at all... The taste was just like regular Chinese food. It seems like they might be struggling due to COVID, as they tried to charge me a higher price than what was listed on their website. Hmm, I'm not sure if I will come back.

Located about a 7-minute walk from Shiba Koen Station, this Chinese restaurant is nestled in the Shiba shopping street. I visited for lunch on a weekday. The lunch menu offers set meals, fried rice, and other typical Chinese dishes, but what caught my eye was the Mapo Tofu Yakisoba (800 yen) so I decided to order it.
The Mapo Tofu Yakisoba was served in about 4 minutes. It came with yakisoba, soup, salad, pickled vegetables, and almond jelly. Let's dig in. Unlike curry, the yakisoba and mapo tofu were served separately, so you mix them as you eat. The mapo tofu had a nice kick to it, although the numbing sensation from the Sichuan peppercorns was not very strong. It was rich and on the spicy side. The noodles were flat and had a slightly crispy texture from being grilled, which was interesting. I quite enjoyed the smooth texture of the almond jelly. The soup, salad, and pickled vegetables were average.
The restaurant has a spacious seating area, making it easy for groups to dine together. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

On Saturday afternoon, I wandered around Shiba Park and decided to visit "Shintenchi" for lunch. The restaurant was spacious, with a relaxed atmosphere. I chose the weekly special, "Shrimp Mapo Tofu" for 800 yen. When the dish arrived, I eagerly dug in and found the taste to be delicious. I hope to visit again and try their dinner menu next time.

On Sunday, two Chinese restaurants in the Shibamachi shopping street were open for dinner. I chose a restaurant that I had never been to before. I was torn between the ankake yakisoba and the Shanghai yakisoba on the menu, but I decided on the ankake yakisoba. It was packed with vegetables, pork, shrimp, and squid, but a bit greasy. Chinese food tends to use a lot of oil, but there should be a limit. I ended up drinking the tea provided here in one gulp. I usually don't drink much fluids at Chinese restaurants.

I usually go to eat lunch there, but I happened to go at night as well. I felt a more izakaya-like atmosphere than during lunch. It seems that you can use the karaoke if there are more than 10 people, so I want to go with my colleagues during the welcome and farewell party season next time!

Today's lunch review is about a Chinese restaurant called Shintenchi located in the Shibamata shopping street. It seems to be run by Chinese people. I ordered the mapo tofu set meal and it arrived very quickly. The mapo tofu was quite delicious, with a good level of spiciness. The rice was also well-cooked. They offer various dishes with mapo tofu, such as mapo tofu donburi and mapo tofu noodles. I saw someone eating a dish called "mapo tofu cold noodles," which seemed interesting. Overall, I think the mapo tofu here is quite good.

I had the daily lunch special which was stir-fried wood ear mushrooms, eggs, and pork. The flavors were rich and it went well with the rice. They have a variety of menu options including set meals and noodles, so you won't get bored. Thank you for the meal.

On a regular day for lunch, a middle-aged businessman dining alone ordered the liver and leek set meal. The restaurant was a typical large Chinese establishment with somewhat negligent service, reminiscent of a country where things are left unattended. The interior had a central round table where six middle-aged men gathered, each ordering a different dish. My liver and leek dish was served in a generous portion, with plenty of liver, bean sprouts, and leeks. In the corner, someone ordered a large portion of fried noodles, which took a while to prepare. Despite being slightly overtaken by the daily special dish that arrived later, the fried noodles looked delicious with a generous amount of sauce. This restaurant, with its prominent location and stable clientele, seemed to attract customers both during the day and at night. I decided that next time, I would try the fried noodles dish.

It was empty around 11:55 on a regular day but by 12:05 it was full. The restaurant has table seating where smoking is allowed. I ordered the Taiwan ramen set. The spiciness was slightly spicy and the taste was average. The half fried rice was also average. I won't repeat the Taiwan ramen. Many people around me ordered set meals.

I revisited the restaurant for a solo lunch. I have used it several times before and I understand the level of customer service at the shop, but this time I felt like "hmm..." so I lowered my rating. It's a shame because I personally like noodle dishes. Thank you for the meal.
