After drinking, I got hungry and went to eat soba. It's great that they are open late at night. My partner had herring soba and I had spicy sesame soba (I don't remember the menu names, sorry). The corn tempura was sold out, so I had octopus karaage instead! Soba at a soba restaurant is always delicious.

In a corner not far from Ginza towards Corridor Street, there is a soba restaurant with a kitchen on the first floor and private rooms on the second floor. The storefront features a catchphrase about a female soba artisan making domestic soba noodles, which caught my attention. There are about 8 seats at the L-shaped counter, where you can also see large pots for oden. The menu mainly consists of a variety of lunch sets and a la carte options. On the day I visited, they were using soba flour from Hokkaido. After enjoying a tempura bowl and soba, I was also served almond jelly and a demitasse coffee. Thank you for the delicious meal.

It's been a while since my last visit. It was still early for this restaurant, as it was only 11:00 PM, so it was not crowded yet, and I was seated on the second floor. After some hesitation, I decided to go with the curry soba, which was quite light. It wasn't too thick or heavy, and the flavors of the broth and curry were not overpowering. The soba noodles were thin and slippery. However, the noodles didn't quite mix well with the soup. Perhaps it was because of the strainer.

Soba restaurant located near Ginza in the corridor of Shinbashi. I made a last-minute reservation on a Friday and was relieved that they had availability. The restaurant has counter seats on the first floor and table seats on the second floor. It has a casual yet calm atmosphere, and it was popular among office workers. The menu offers a variety of dishes including appetizers, soba, and oden. I ordered grilled eggplant with meat miso, corn tempura, and cold soba. I was delighted to receive a cold corn soup as a complimentary appetizer. The staff, although they had a dignified presence, were very kind. Thank you for the meal!

I visited after a long time and had pork dipping noodles. I remember that eggs used to be free before, but now they are not. The noodles seemed to be tastier than before. I wonder if they are being freshly made in the shop. The pork dipping sauce was also very delicious. It came with mixed rice, which had a perfect seasoning and tasted great.

It was a small and clean soba restaurant with seating on the first and second floors. I ordered the dipping noodles with pork and kikurage mushrooms, and also added some wakame seaweed as a topping. The soba noodles were thin and smooth, very delicious. The dipping sauce had large pieces of mushrooms, pork, and a hint of yuzu citrus, which made it very tasty. The rice seemed to be cooked with the sauce, and the flavor was just right to complement the rich dipping sauce. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Shouan for the first time in February. It's a soba restaurant that always satisfies me. This time, I went to try the limited edition spicy soba set for Golden Week. I chose the level 5 spiciness and it was still delicious. The hand-made soba noodles were gentle, and the sauce made with Miyazaki spicy noodles was perfect. Thank you for another wonderful meal today.

Golden Week May 4th, sunny ☀️. Today, a collaboration between Ginza Shouan and Yokohama Miyazaki Karamen has been realized. I left the house at 9 am, took the Yokohama Line, and arrived at Shinbashi Station from Yokohama, which was surprisingly close. I arrived at Shinbashi Station around 10:10 am. The restaurant was confirmed and I took a little walk until 11 am. I entered the restaurant. There was a collaboration between the female owner of Shouan, whom I saw on Instagram, and the female owner of Miyazaki Karamen. Miyazaki Karamen introduced me as a high school boy from Yokohama. I was allowed to do my thing as a foodie. I ordered the Seiro Soba for 900 yen and the Miyazaki Karamen Set with rice and small dishes for 1200 yen. I have never thought Japanese soba was delicious, but the Seiro Soba looked beautiful and tasted good. The Miyazaki Karamen with level 5 spiciness was amazing. The soup was delicious and the noodles were great. It was unexpectedly Miyazaki Karamen Soba. I quickly finished it and ordered a Katsudon for 1000 yen. The Tonkatsu was made with brand pork and the Katsudon was delicious. I quickly finished it, which surprised Shouan a little. The female owner of Miyazaki Karamen was normal. It was fun talking with the customers and helping Tonkatsu Momiji who came to assist. We took a photo together and sent it to Momiji's mother. Japanese soba was delicious and it was a fun experience. It can be enjoyed at Ginza Shouan until the 6th. After this, I will take a bath and drink a lemon sour. I feel like a high school boy. It's noisy!

Around midday, I went to eat soba noodles near Corridor. The restaurant was not crowded after 2 pm, making it easy to get a seat. I was seated on the second floor with plenty of space. The soba noodles were delicious, and the soba broth was rich. This is a perfect place to have lunch in this area. Thank you for the meal!

The menu does not mention it, but they offer black (with shells) and white (without shells) soba noodles. Both are delicious. The lunch sets, such as the Tempura Don Soba Set and the Katsu Don Soba Set, are satisfying and filling options.

Today, I had the lunch set menu of katsudon soba with white buckwheat noodles. It was a satisfying meal with a substantial katsudon that didn't feel like a set menu and the always delicious handmade soba. The first floor of the restaurant was packed by the time I finished eating, but the staff efficiently managed the crowd.

This is my second time today. I had a tempura rice bowl and soba set today. The soba noodles are thin cut, but if you order the set with a variety of toppings, you can enjoy a good texture. Last time, I had warm soba noodles, so I felt a bit of softness with the thin cut noodles. The broth must be good, as the tempura rice bowl and miso soup tasted great. The miso soup was also full of ingredients! Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

I finally tried the burdock tempura that I had been curious about for a while! I had it along with a large serving of steamed soba noodles. The freshly fried burdock tempura was crispy and delicious with either dipping sauce or salt. The soba noodles were as tasty as always. Today's lunch was very satisfying once again.

The hot dipping sauce, said to be a long-time bestseller at the restaurant, is excellent! It perfectly complements the delicious soba noodles. The manager's explanation further enhanced the taste. Despite being busy during lunchtime and short-staffed, the service was still attentive and made for a pleasant lunch experience.

The shop I used to frequent 10 years ago has changed, with disappointing taste and customer service. The new staff member that day provided good service, but the female staff members were very disappointing. Even the miso soup wasn't tasty. The only good thing was the coffee served at the end.

For my second lunch, I had the Tempura Rice Bowl and Soba Set with cold soba. The Tempura Rice Bowl was impressive with a generous amount of tempura toppings, surpassing the level of a regular set meal. The delicious soba that came with it was a nice addition. I also treated myself to the Half Matsutake Mushroom Tempura that caught my eye on the menu. It was a luxurious lunch with a variety of tempura dishes.

This is a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious soba noodles made with great effort by a female manager. The lunch menu is varied, ranging from individual dishes to set menus. All the dishes we tried were delicious. It seems they are open until late at night, so it seems like a wonderful place to visit for various occasions.

I felt like eating soba in Ginza, so I visited "Shoan" restaurant. When I opened the door and entered, the energetic female owner welcomed me. I sat at the counter and saw many regular customers around me. I ordered oden as a side dish and a soba lunch set. It was delicious. I will visit again. Thank you to the chef.

I visited Sobadokoro Shouan Ginza again last month. It seems that the recent decision to raise prices was made due to the strong yen and high prices. This time, I had the Tenseiro Soba set. It included 2 shrimp, herring, eggplant, green pepper, sweet potato, and more. The soba had a glossy appearance and a firm texture when eaten. After the meal, I was served pear and coffee, and the attentive service made me feel comfortable dining alone at the counter. However, before raising prices, I think they could have been more efficient and streamlined unnecessary services. By doing so, they could attract more customers and have more repeat visitors. As a potential restaurant, I expressed some slight criticism when they raised prices.

I went to Soba Shoan Ginza for lunch. The cheerful and friendly voice of the female staff welcoming me with "Irasshaimase" seemed to indicate the popularity of this restaurant. Many regular customers kept coming in, showing that this place has become a beloved fixture in the local Ginza area. The lunch menu is extensive, and what's impressive is that they create a cute hand-drawn menu with illustrations every month! And the prices seem unbelievably affordable! I ordered the Katsu Don set. The thickly cut Chiba Prefecture pork katsu in the Katsu Don was cooked perfectly, tender, and had a nice sweetness to it. The miso soup with plenty of ingredients and pickles were also delightful. The soba noodles in the seiro had a nice sheen and a firm texture when eaten. The broth was not too salty or too bland, complementing the soba well. Despite being so busy, they even served almond jelly and iced coffee after the meal, showing that this place offers top-notch service. Even if you go alone, the cozy atmosphere and hospitality at the counter make it a pleasant dining experience!
