My second son, who traveled to Okinawa and Ishigaki Island, even went scuba diving to see the underwater heritage of Okinawa, is a big fan of Okinawa. ❤ My husband and I have never been to Okinawa, so I would like to visit at least once. (laughs) Sometimes I want to eat Okinawan food, so I went to eat. There was a restaurant I liked in Jiyugaoka, but it was closed. (T_T) So, my son searched on Google and we came here. The Tokyo Tower lit up beautifully in the twilight. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was a long staircase. I don't like stairs. When we entered the restaurant, it had an Okinawan atmosphere. ❤ The TV played VTRs of Okinawa's sea and towns, making us feel like we were in Okinawa. There was a great variety of awamori. There were beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, each with different alcohol content. I had beer, shikuwasa sour, Namiha white 25% on the rocks, Kaiha 30% on the rocks, and Yonbaru Kuina 30% on the rocks. My husband and son had the advanced 43% on the rocks. Amazing! Our family is in the advanced alcohol class? It's like showing off skiing skills. I'm only a beginner in skiing. The other two have never skied before. (laughs) [What we had] - Umibudo: Good balance of saltiness and sea flavor. - Mimigaa with yuzu pepper ponzu dressing: Mimigaa with plenty of collagen and refreshing ponzu dressing. - Island pickled shallots: Small and fresh. The staff took the time to clean them, which may have enhanced the freshness. It was the best pickled shallots I've ever had. ❤ - Mozuku and island tofu sesame salad: Plenty of vegetables, mozuku, and island tofu. Goes well with sweet sesame dressing. - Goya champuru with dashi flavor: Healthy dish with island tofu and bitter melon with plenty of bonito flakes. - Rafute with simmered egg: Rafute simmered to perfection, and the simmered egg with rich broth was delicious. ❤ - Curly potato spirals: Spiral-shaped curly fries. Crispy and delicious, perfect as a snack. ❤ - Taco rice: Perfectly cooked rice with amazing taco rice seasoning. The best taco rice I've ever had at an Okinawan restaurant. ❤ - Dessert: The small but hot and crispy sata andagi was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. ❤ - Oden with 5 varieties: We ordered additional oden for about 1000 yen. The unique Okinawan seasoning and slightly sweet broth made it different from regular oden and very good. ❤ It's a recommended restaurant with good cost performance. ✌ *It was crowded, and because of that, the staff didn't hear our orders, so my husband had to shout multiple times to get their attention. It would be nice to have a bell or something.
