It was very, very delicious! Each dish seemed a bit on the expensive side, like a fancy bar, so it might be just right to enjoy as appetizers. I went there on an empty stomach, so the cost performance wasn't great... As a big eater, spending 6000 yen per person and eating this much didn't feel right, but it was incredibly delicious!

Located in a building opposite WACCA, a short walk from Ikebukuro Station East Exit, this restaurant offers a variety of oyster and shrimp dishes. Despite the old-fashioned appearance of the building resembling a traditional bar, the menu includes a range of shrimp and oyster dishes. They offer courses and all-you-can-drink options, providing various ways to enjoy your dining experience. A group of friends decided to go out for shrimp, and after searching nearby, they found this restaurant next to Taiyaki Fukuyoshi's building. The building has a vintage feel, with a heavy entrance corridor. Taking the small elevator to the sixth floor, they found a black-themed interior that resembled an event space, with a spacious bar counter suggesting a focus on drinks. They had reserved a private-like table, and ordered the "Ebi Sanmai Course" for 4,730 yen. The course included shrimp cob salad, red shrimp sashimi, shrimp cocktail, shrimp and mushroom ajillo, garlic shrimp, grilled red shrimp, and shrimp fry. The variety of shrimp dishes was impressive, with large red shrimp making a strong visual impact and providing a satisfying texture. The menu also offered the option to add pasta or risotto for an additional 500 yen. The shrimp cob salad was refreshing, with a mix of vegetables and peeled shrimp. The red shrimp sashimi featured large shrimp with good texture and flavor. The shrimp cocktail surprised with steamed large shrimp. The shrimp and mushroom ajillo was served sizzling hot, with mushrooms and broccoli complementing the oil well. The garlic shrimp in tomato sauce was a great match for beer or highball. The grilled red shrimp was served hot and delicious, with a firm texture and a sense of value. The shrimp fry was a crispy and satisfying end to the meal. I visited this restaurant after a long time. It was during Golden Week, so we didn't make a reservation and barely got a table as it was fully booked! ◆Orders - Assorted 3 types of fresh oysters (added 2 more) - Carpaccio - Assorted horse sashimi - Meat and sea urchin - Garlic shrimp - Oyster gratin - Baked lobster Thermidor (1 tail) - Grilled beef tongue - Shrimp and tomato cream risotto Drinks Me: Highball, Sparkling wine, White wine x5 glasses Husband: Dassai 45, Dassai 39 with oolong tea chaser This restaurant is located near Mt. Takao. We were quite thirsty, so we started with a highball for a toast! It had been a while since our last visit, and the dishes we ordered were similar to last time (lol). The fresh oysters we had this time were plump and delicious, so we ended up ordering more, but the "oyster tasting set" would have been a better deal! The lobster Thermidor we ordered after a long time was fantastic, with the shrimp being juicy and tasty! I'm sure this one offers great value for money. I was in the mood for wine, so after drinking the highball like water, I compared and enjoyed various white wines, but I think ordering a bottle would have been better (lol). My husband, surprisingly, tried his best with a Dassai sake comparison of 45 and 39, drinking 2 cups in total. He seemed to prefer the Dassai 45. Overall, it's a delicious restaurant, and even though it was fully booked with all tables occupied, the young staff worked together seamlessly, taking the initiative to serve customers, which was impressive! The kind-looking manager (owner?) seemed to provide relaxed and effective training. Good service from the staff makes the alcohol go down smoothly, right? For some reason, my husband was treating each staff member to drinks (lol). With all that said, we had a great time during our long-awaited visit. We definitely want to come back soon!

I love oysters! I want to eat oysters! So, I made a reservation and came here. Honestly, the exterior of the building and the elevator are what you would call a typical mixed-use building, and you can feel the age, but once you enter the restaurant, all worries disappear. When you open the door after getting off the elevator, you will find a chic bar-style restaurant with tables, a counter in the back, and private table seats surrounded by walls with dim lighting. [What we had today] - Fresh oysters: Various seasonings are served together, but they are delicious as they are, and they were amazing with just a few drops of oyster sauce or ponzu. - Fried oysters: The best oyster fry I've ever had! Crispy thin coating, juicy oysters inside. Enjoy the natural taste of oysters with rock salt. - Oyster fry: When you bite into it, it's hot and crispy, with a juicy oyster flavor bursting out. The oysters are large and delicious on their own, and they were also great with the tartar sauce on the side! - Oyster peperoncino: There are regular and half sizes, and when I ordered the regular, they asked, "The regular size is about 3 servings, are you sure?" After some hesitation, I went with the regular size, and it was so delicious with plump oysters and al dente pasta, lightly seasoned with less oil. I had no problem finishing it all (laughs). - Oyster and mushroom cream risotto: Light and flavorful cream, with a pleasant texture of mushrooms throughout. I finished this one too! We also enjoyed other dishes besides oysters! - Shirako ponzu: Large and plump shirako! It had a milky flavor and was delicious! - Salmon sashimi: Slightly sweet, with just the right amount of fat, and a refreshing taste. - Shrimp mayo: This was delicious!!! Large shrimp with a rich mayo sauce. The shrimp was bouncy, the coating was crispy in places, and the combination of the shrimp's texture and aroma with the mayo sauce was delicious! [Overall impression] All the dishes were delicious, and the fresh oysters were excellent! The oysters and shrimp used in the dishes were also large and top-notch! (Many places serve small oysters and shrimp in dishes like fried oysters and shrimp mayo (tears)). Moreover, not only the dishes but also the service was top-notch. They offered to hold our umbrellas and coats when we entered, and provided us with hot towels when we were seated. I've been feeling that there are fewer places with such attentive service lately, and it's really nice. I was further impressed when they picked up the menu when I dropped it, changed the plates without us noticing, and smartly handled things like providing new saucers and ashtrays. They also gave us a lovely dessert plate for our anniversary, exceeding our expectations, and we were able to enjoy a pleasant time throughout. No matter how delicious the food is, if the service is terrible, the restaurant itself can become a bad memory. This place not only serves delicious food but also provides thorough customer service, making it a truly hidden gem of a restaurant ☆☆ (All seats allow smoking while dining! I enjoyed the meal very much! The customer service was excellent and the staff was very attentive. The restroom was cleaned every time I used it, so it was always spotless. Even when I left, they called the elevator for me first, even though it was cold outside. I would love to go back again!

I tried three different types of fresh oysters and they were all delicious. There were about 4 different condiments for the oysters, so I had a hard time deciding which one to use. I'm looking forward to trying all 5 next time. The garlic shrimp tomato flavor was very easy to eat and both the head and tail were delicious. The mashed potatoes were also really tasty. The fresh spring rolls were missing coriander, but I enjoyed them without worry. The crunchy vegetables and shrimp with sweet chili sauce were a great combination. The oyster risotto had plenty of oysters and was incredibly delicious. When I first entered the restaurant, I thought it was a girls' bar, but it was different. It has a slightly more mature atmosphere.

I enjoyed various ways of cooking oysters so much that I think I tried all the oyster dishes. I also had all-you-can-drink option, so I enjoyed delicious oysters and tasty drinks. The risotto for the finale was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture.

I found a restaurant late and made a reservation right away! The seat I was guided to was a corner seat surrounded by walls. With a group of 10 people, it felt like a private room (there was a TV, haha). Among the menu items we ordered, the sashimi and pasta were especially delicious! The sashimi was fresh and the pasta, although I ordered the peperoncino, had the best seasoning! I ordered a half portion due to my taste preference, but the thick bacon disappeared quickly. It was served sizzling hot on a hot plate brought to the table. The oysters were a bit small but firm! The shrimp was garlicky and delicious. Laughing.

This is my second visit to this restaurant. I love oysters and shrimp, and my husband brought me to this place before. The atmosphere is great, and the food is delicious, making it our favorite spot for a birthday celebration (our second time celebrating here). The entrance is in a mixed building and looks a bit shady, but there is a surprising contrast with the delicious food. Our order this time included: 4 types of fresh oysters, Bagna Cauda, garlic shrimp, sea urchin wrapped in meat, sake-steamed cream cheese, beef Rossini style, white wine steamed mussels, shrimp bisque soup, grilled beef tongue, and oyster risotto (half portion). Even though we had French food yesterday, we couldn't resist trying the oysters here. The oysters are sweet and delicious. They also had foie gras, which we couldn't resist trying. The Rossini-style beef with red wine was amazing, and the highlight was the oyster risotto (half portion). The staff recommended it since we were getting full, and it was a great choice. The oyster flavor was packed into the sauce and was exquisite. We were considering turning the white wine-steamed mussels into risotto, but the oyster risotto was the perfect choice! We enjoyed sparkling wine, white wine, red wine, and a recommended sake. The variety of alcohol options is great, and since the restaurant is open until late, it's a perfect spot for a second stop on a night out. Overall, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect for a date or girls' night out. If you're in Ikebukuro and unsure where to go, I highly recommend this place.

I visited East Blue, a recommended oyster bar by a friend. The restaurant is located near LABI in Ikebukuro East Exit. They offer various courses including all-you-can-drink deals, but on this day, we ordered a la carte. We chose a 3-kind oyster tasting with oysters from Konagaai, Chitai, and Hirota Bay. Each oyster had its own unique flavor profile, showcasing the different tastes oysters can have. They also provided a variety of sauces for the oysters such as ponzu, soy sauce, chili sauce, and salt. They even had Bowmore (Scotch whisky) to pair with the oysters, although it didn't suit my taste. The grilled oysters came with toppings like grated ponzu, basil sauce, garlic, anchovy, uni butter, and tomato sauce. We also ordered yellowtail sashimi, which was delicious with its rich flavor and no fishy taste. Overall, everything we tried was really delicious. The menu is so diverse that I want to come back and try more next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Fresh oysters!!! They were incredibly delicious! The staff explained everything very politely, so I could enjoy while learning, which was very easy to understand. The garlic shrimp and half-size oyster peperoncino were also delicious! There were a variety of drinks available, and they put effort into how they were made. It didn't feel like just a regular restaurant, they really paid attention to the drinks as well. I definitely want to go back and I want to go back soon!!!

I used to visit quite often before the pandemic hit, but recently I went back after a long time and the manager remembered me and even wished my daughter a happy birthday, arranging a surprise dessert plate as a gift! It's gestures like these that really touch your heart (*^^*) This is the place where I learned about the deliciousness of fresh oysters from Senpoji and seaweed forest. Whenever I come here, I always order fresh oysters. The baked lobster Thermidor is also very delicious and I often order it♪ The foie gras risotto was also very tasty and I used to order it frequently, but it seems like they changed the seasoning? It now has a stronger soup-like taste which is different from before. Personally, I liked the previous version better. At this restaurant, there are no disappointing dishes, so you can eat here with peace of mind♪ I will continue to visit this place as always (*^^*)

It is more of an oyster bar than just a oyster shop. It is great for dates or meals with friends. The raw oysters, which are a common ingredient, are delicious, and the seasonal oysters are especially tasty. The dishes prepared by the chef are also surprisingly delicious. In addition to oyster dishes, there are various other seafood dishes that are very satisfying. Of course, the prices can add up if you enjoy yourself, but considering the convenience, it is worth it!

Today I had two meals and ice cream! Hello, it's Okahiro! I went to an oyster bar in Ikebukuro. It's located on the 6th floor of a mixed-use building. I've been curious about it since seeing the sign. The chic interior is dimly lit and predominantly black. Despite the cool atmosphere, the hospitality of the staff was excellent, making it a surprisingly cozy place. "Oyster 4 types comparison for 2 people" Creamy oysters from Goto Islands are too delicious! The Hokkaido ones are huge! You can't fit them in one bite (laughs). I was full after trying the 4 types! "Horse sashimi 3 types" Enjoyed with oyster soy sauce. A great combination! "Grilled oysters 6 types" A mix of 6 oysters with a fancy look and a blend of Japanese and Western styles. It's fun to choose which one to eat! "Uni pasta" It was okay. Each dish is carefully made with a focus on the place of origin. Today we went to a oyster and shrimp specialty restaurant in Ikebukuro. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat raw oysters. The Lobster Thermidor was excellent, as well as the fried oysters. The jumbo red shrimp sashimi was good, but the garlic shrimp was just okay. Overall, the lobster and fried oysters were impressive, but the rest was average.

This place is highly recommended, one of the few places in Ikebukuro that stays open late during the pandemic and allows smoking. I have visited more than 10 times! Everything I eat is delicious! They also have all-you-can-drink, the shrimp is delicious, it's stylish, and whenever I want to treat myself, I always visit this place! I will go again!

This is my first visit. I was looking for oysters in Ikebukuro and found this restaurant. In addition to oysters, there were also pastas and other items on the menu, all of which were delicious. I visited this restaurant, "Oyster & Shrimp Bar EAST BLUE," because I wanted to eat oysters in Ikebukuro! It's a bit far from the station, but it's easy to find. The interior is chic with a black color scheme, perfect for a date. The menu mainly focuses on oysters, and I couldn't resist ordering a couple of rounds of fresh oysters to compare. Then I tried the oyster fry too. They also have a variety of other dishes like lobster Thermidor, garlic shrimp, and beef tongue steak. The restaurant has "ebi" (shrimp) in its name, so I decided to go there. They use lobster in their dishes, and most of the shrimp dishes seemed to be boiled. The variety of shrimp dishes wasn't that great, but they had a wide selection of oysters - raw, steamed, grilled, and various other dishes. They even had a tasting set with 7 different types of oysters! They served the raw oysters with ponzu sauce and even with Bowmore whiskey, which is apparently how they eat it in Scotland. The grilled oysters came in various flavors. The oyster gratin was like a clam chowder with white sauce and oyster essence mixed in. The menu was very extensive, with options for those who don't like oysters or have shrimp allergies. They had umeshu, umekyu, and other izakaya dishes, as well as foie gras, rare delicacies, pasta, and risotto. They even had Japanese sake and horse sashimi! It's a great lineup for greedy drinkers. However, while the oysters were delicious, the other dishes were just average. It was a bit disappointing. Overall, it felt like they offered a wide range of dishes but didn't excel in any particular area. Hopefully, they will improve and become a great restaurant in the future.
