"Il Teatro" at The Aman Tokyo. Gourmet 3 stars. Visited on a weekday at 5:00 PM. Made a phone reservation 10 minutes before. All customers, including myself, were dining alone. The ceiling was incredibly high, exuding a sense of luxury. There were several sightseers being guided through the restaurant. There are two course options: ¥18,000 and ¥24,000 including tax. À la carte menu is also available, which includes an amuse-bouche, bread, and mini sorbet. Free parking for up to 3 hours depending on the amount spent. Valet parking is available for a fee, so I parked my car myself. I ordered from the à la carte menu and enjoyed delicious dishes, spending around ¥5,800. The service was provided by an Italian gentleman who seemed to be in charge of hospitality. He was very informative when spoken to. 1. "Beef with a taste similar to menchi-katsu, mushroom cappuccino with shimeji mushrooms, gorgonzola cheese & pear, grissini" 4. "Basil sorbet with an intense basil flavor" 2. "Agnolotti Cacio e Pepe. Black pepper and pecorino Romano" - A delicious ravioli dish with a standard taste. The saltiness of the cheese shavings complemented the dish well. 3. "Risotto with buttercup squash and Yamanashi Prefecture's famous water red chicken" - A fantastic risotto dish. The buttercup squash had a texture similar to potatoes, and the hidden pumpkin paste added sweetness and umami. The perfectly cooked chicken was extremely delicious. Marinated and roasted with olive oil, etc. Compared to small, hard-to-reserve restaurants, the food here is equally delicious, the ambiance is on a different level, the prices are reasonable, and same-day reservations are possible for dinner. In every aspect, high-end hotels surpass smaller establishments. Ideal for dining alone. Staying at The Ritz-Carlton, you can enjoy unbelievable service at a great price.

In a dimly lit and high-ceilinged restaurant, I enjoyed dinner while overlooking the Tokyo night view. The interior decor was very nice. The dishes weren't exactly to my liking, but they were visually and taste-wise enjoyable. (The dessert was quite sweet, so personally, I prefer it to be a bit less sweet.)

The atmosphere and the view from the window were both very nice, creating a luxurious space. Personally, I really liked the desserts and pasta. The pasta I had was a basil pasta with sea urchin and clam, and it was really delicious! For the main course, I ordered fish, but my companion's meat dish also looked very appetizing. The hospitality was great, and we were able to relax and enjoy our meal. However, I was a bit bothered by two young women at a nearby table who were putting on heavy makeup while eating. It would have been better if they did that in the restroom or somewhere else, as it was not something I particularly wanted to see.

You can enjoy beautiful Italian cuisine in a wonderful space at Aman. I had a beautifully presented and delicious set lunch. The view from the sofa seats, where even babies can relax safely, is amazing! It's great that you can choose your main and dessert with the prix fixe menu. I would love to visit again for a special occasion.

The petite foreign server who took care of our table during the full-course lunch was very attentive, which helped leave a good impression. The food was delicious, but seemed a bit overpriced for what was offered. It was surprising to see table settings starting at tables where people were still eating, with the spray spread generously over the tablecloths. It felt unnecessary and disrupted the atmosphere. I wondered if it was part of the concept or just a one-time occurrence. Overall, once would have been enough.

It's a wonderful restaurant. I was a little hesitant at first because it seemed a bit fancy, but I decided to go for it and jumped in. The high ceilings and spacious interior create a lovely atmosphere that makes you feel excited. I chose a champagne and the cheers menu, which you can see in the first photo. Everything I ate was delicious - it's not easy to achieve that level of consistency. The changing scenery outside the window added to the magic of the moment. The staff was smart and gave explanations in a smooth manner. The dishes were so tasty that I was already full by the end, but when I said I couldn't eat dessert, they brought out some baked goods and told me to choose what I liked - I ended up laughing and eating them all. I'll try to treat myself to a high-end dinner like this 1-2 times a year!

We stayed at Aman Tokyo and made a dinner reservation for two. The restaurant was on the 33rd floor, with a beautiful view and a calm atmosphere similar to the hotel lobby. We opted for a la carte as we weren't very hungry. The staff, though young, provided excellent service, explaining the menu items in detail. We shared some dishes, including a delicious sea urchin pasta topped with grated tuna roe. The uni was incredibly tasty, though the taste of the roe was hard to distinguish. We also tried the sirloin steak, which was priced around 23,000 yen. It was served with a flavorful sauce and tasty corn. Next time, we would like to try the course menu when we're more hungry. Overall, we were impressed by the attentive service. Thank you.

Located on the 33rd floor of The Aman Tokyo, this restaurant offers a fantastic view of the Imperial Palace and skyscrapers, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. I've always felt that specialty restaurants are better than hotel restaurants, but the food here is incredibly delicious. The dishes are beautifully presented, and I had a wonderful time. Thank you very much. Itadakimasu.

I made a reservation for 2:30 pm on a holiday. During the Golden Week period, there was a sweets buffet called "Dolce in Al Bava" being held. It was my first time at this hotel, and from the entrance, the hotel staff greeted me with a smile. It was a bit overwhelming but also a nice feeling. I waited in the lobby on the 33rd floor until my reservation time, and the atmosphere was so comfortable. The view of the Imperial Palace's greenery was beautiful, giving a mix of city vibes and natural beauty. I was seated, ordered a drink, and then went to the buffet table. With COVID-19 restrictions eased, there were no strict rules on sanitizing, gloves, or masks, but I found myself putting on a mask every time I went to get food out of habit. The lineup included various light meals and sweets, and the selection was great. I found some favorites and enjoyed them without feeling too full. The price was worth it, and it wasn't too crowded, making it a comfortable dining experience. The head chef even came to greet us, and I was a bit awkward as I'm not used to such interactions. They had a variety of unique Italian sweets, some of which I had never heard of before. Overall, the ambiance and comfort of the place made the price worth it.

The restaurant review for Dolce in Arva located on the 33rd floor of Aman Tokyo in Otemachi Tower, directly connected to Otemachi Station of Tokyo Metro's Mita Line and Marunouchi Line, Toei Subway's Tozai Line, Chiyoda Line, and Hanzomon Line. The review criticizes the recent event held at the restaurant, mentioning that the content did not match the high price of 9,000 yen for a 2-hour session. Comparisons are made to past events where a dessert buffet offered a wide variety of cakes and desserts for a lower price. The review expresses disappointment with the current event's lineup, which focused on baked goods with minimal cakes and savory options. The service is noted to be adequate but expected for the price range. The reviewer concludes that unless significant improvements are made, they will not visit the restaurant again, as the current event could potentially harm the hotel's reputation.

Directly connected to Otemachi Station, located within the luxury hotel Aman. Take the express elevator straight to the 33rd floor. As the doors open, you'll be amazed by the incredibly high ceiling in the lobby, making your way towards the entrance of the restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is very dimly lit, a rarity in Japan though common in Western countries. This creates a relaxed atmosphere, making conversations flow easily and offering a beautiful view of the night scenery. The view from the 33rd floor is quite impressive! With the Imperial Palace spread out before you, you can feel the energy at the heart of Edo. Now, it's time for the "Four Seasons" dinner course. Surprisingly, before the menu is even presented, a generous amount of finger foods are served. Each one is meticulously prepared, so even though they are small, they bring great satisfaction and fill your heart with happiness. The "Today's fresh fish from the Goto Islands" allows you to choose from two options, and I picked the rare fish. It was served sautéed, without being overly seasoned, allowing the natural flavors of each ingredient to shine and complement each other, truly allowing you to savor the essence of the ingredients. The presentation was beautiful, making it an exceptional dining experience.

I had been looking forward to the New Year's party since last year! We made a reservation at Aman Tokyo, 33rd floor [ARVA]. "Arva" comes from Latin, the origin of the English word "Harvest." They offer simple flavors that highlight the seasonal bounty harvested from the forests, mountains, and seas of the region, with a presentation that is not overly elaborate. COLTIVARE (Cultivate) 20,000 yen. - Chef's hospitality - Ibaraki duck breast smoked with radicchio tardivo di Treviso, vincotto, Parmigiano Reggiano. - Spaghetti with natural flounder, aglio e olio e peperoncino, sea urchin, saffron, Mie tuna bottarga. - Steamed Kinmedai with Kaga lotus root gnocchi, sweet shrimp, and carbornero. - Ezo deer dolce forte, organic vegetables from Shizuoka Kitayama Farm. Since I mentioned that I don't like game meat, they kindly changed it to pork. The palate-cleansing sorbet was presented in such a stylish way! And it was delicious too! - Piccolo dolce - Tiramisu, Domori chocolate - Coffee or tea with petit fours. Wow, what a surprise!!! They celebrated my birthday together with me. The beautifully arranged bouquet was so lovely and touching. Even now, over a week later, it is still blooming beautifully. It was a birthday that will be remembered for a lifetime in such a wonderful place!!! Thank you so much!!!

I visited the Italian restaurant "Arva" at Aman Tokyo on a Saturday in January 2023 for my birthday. It is conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Otemachi Station. From the entrance on the 1st floor, you take the elevator to the 33rd floor hotel entrance. The lobby has a ceiling height of about 5 floors, which is impressive! The back of the lobby is all glass, offering a panoramic view of the city. The atmosphere is very nice, and they even drew a message on the dessert for my celebration. The food, view, and ambiance are perfect for a date or anniversary. This time, I tried the "NATURE" lunch course priced at ¥13,000 (drinks not included), which included dishes like Ise tuna crudo, gnocchi with Holoro chicken ragout, sautéed shirako with red snow crab and green onion, and braised Japanese beef cheek with truffle. The flavors were harmonious and the dishes were beautifully presented. I will definitely visit again!

I have used Aman's lounge several times, but this was my first time having lunch there! I reserved the 5-course Sun menu and visited. The most delicious dish was the gnocchi tiramisu with chocolate drizzle. It was bittersweet and absolutely delicious. The service was just right, with a comfortable atmosphere!

I visited the Italian restaurant "Alva" located in the office district of Otemachi. It is a 3-minute walk from Otemachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and within walking distance from Tokyo Station. The restaurant is situated on the 33rd floor of the high-rise building Otemachi Tower. It opened in December 2014. The interior is bright and spacious with high ceilings and large windows, creating a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. From the tables by the window, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the skyscrapers in Shinjuku. Today, I tried the following menu items: - String Bean Soup with Tomato Cracker - Tartare of Ise Tuna from Mie Prefecture - Pasta with Anglerfish, Broccoli, and Bottarga of Mie Tuna - Yuzu Sorbet - Sauteed Bream with Scallops, Lentils, Homemade Pancetta, Basil, and Tomato - Biancomangiare with Strawberries and Amaro Gelato - Coffee The dishes were beautifully presented in artistic tableware and tasted delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed Italian cuisine in the sky and would love to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited around 6:00 pm on Christmas Eve. It was crowded as expected for a weekend and a special occasion, but by adjusting the timing and seating arrangement, they managed to maintain a private atmosphere which I really appreciated. Today, we decided to go for the Christmas course. The champagne for the toast was unexpectedly a 2012 Dom Perignon. It had a nice barrel flavor and complex richness, truly an excellent choice. Various dishes were served afterwards, and they were accommodating with my dislikes, living up to their reputation. The dishes were all in just the right amount, especially the risotto was delicious and highly recommended. I won't go into detail about each dish, but although the price is high, it was worth it for the enjoyable time we had. For those who want to spend a special day at a reliable place, I highly recommend this restaurant. I would like to visit again on a regular day and try the a la carte menu next time!

The food was delicious. However, I was a bit surprised when asked if it was okay to clear the dishes, even though I had my knife and fork crossed in an "X" shape. It felt like I had to keep up with the speed at which the dishes were being served, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal at my own pace. Thank you for the meal.

Aman Tokyo 33F Restaurant - This time, I tried the lunch full course! The dishes were beautifully presented with surprising ingredient combinations. Lunch Course for 12,500 yen. Chef's hospitality included seared bonito tonnato, Goto Island sweet potato gnocchi, sautéed squid and scallops, Yamanashi prefecture's famous spring water red chicken and Goto Island lemongrass involtini, chestnut and nut cassata. The full course meal was very filling. The restaurant is frequented by both men and women, couples, and large families celebrating special occasions. The dishes were beautifully presented and the staff were attentive. While it may be on the pricier side, it is definitely worth visiting for a special day.
