I went to Aeon for shopping and decided to have lunch at the restaurant area. There was a new restaurant that had opened, the one that everyone knows. The restaurant in Aeon's food court was spacious, comparable to a standalone restaurant. Normally, I go with my grandchildren on weekends, but today was a weekday. Yes, they have a lunch menu on weekdays. I used to work near the Omiya branch of this restaurant for just half a year, and I would have lunch there once a week. Looking at the menu, I saw that it was almost the same as seven years ago, and the prices were still almost the same, surprisingly. In today's lunch, I ordered a hamburger steak made of 100% beef with onion sauce for an additional 150 yen. You can also get a large portion of rice for an additional 50 yen, or a small portion for a discount of 50 yen. The salad was served, but the soup was from the drink bar and had free refills (although it was quite thin). The hamburger steak made of 100% beef looked surprisingly delicious. The coleslaw and potato salad served together were a somewhat unusual combination but not bad. The side dishes included diced potatoes and whole corn. The hamburger itself was nothing special, but the onion sauce was quite tasty. Oh, this makes the rice disappear quickly! Even with the large portion, I finished it easily! Overall, this lunch was perfect except for the soup. Please reconsider the soup. Thank you for the meal.

Inside the Aeon Mall Higashikurume, there is a Saizeriya. It used to be some kind of buffet or something, probably. That kind of Saizeriya. The atmosphere is nice, and the interior is spacious. It doesn't feel quite like a typical Saizeriya. They also sell frozen products at the storefront. I got the Milan-style doria for takeout. It was served in less than 10 minutes, maybe because there were hardly any customers. When it's not busy, they serve you quickly. The white sauce and meat sauce harmonize well. You can taste the richness of the meat, and the sauce spreads evenly until the very last bite, making it delicious. The price of 290 yen including tax is also good.
