- How to use my shop Who to go with ▶ Couples, girls' night out, company seniors When to go ▶ Lunch, dinner, second bar Usage scene ▶ ・For anniversary or birthday dinner ・With someone who loves whiskey ・Hospitality for foreigners - What I recommend about this shop An elegant shop on the 2nd floor of a chapel in Omotesando ✨ With 1300 types of Japanese whiskey, the shop is like a "whiskey library." The whiskey displayed on the wall is impressive! The whiskey is amazing, but the food is also delicious. You can enjoy a luxurious course with truffles and caviar for under 10,000 yen, which I think is amazing. If I had known about this during my student days, I would have definitely used it for a friend's birthday dinner. - Accessibility of the shop The location of the shop is on the 2nd floor, so it may be a bit hard to find ⚠️ Please go up the stairs next to DIESEL as a landmark~ When I visited, it seemed like the stairs were under repair, so we could only use the elevator haha. The entrance is like Harry Potter haha. The entrance may have a heavy atmosphere, but the inside is spacious, so even people who are not fans of small bars will be fine. 🧍‍♀️

I was invited by a friend who loves whiskey to a whiskey bar in Aoyama! Since it's autumn and not far from the office, I was curious about what kind of whiskey would go well with food. I made arrangements and went there right away. The place is located about a 3-minute walk from Omotesando Station, on the 2nd floor of a building where DIESEL is on the 1st floor. As I climbed the stairs, I was greeted by a grand entrance, and the space had a wonderful atmosphere with high ceilings and a brewery-like feel with wood and brick. I had reserved the "6th Anniversary Course" for 6600 yen. It included a welcome drink, a full-course meal from amuse-bouche to dessert, and coffee after the meal. As I sat down, I received an explanation of the course, and the welcome drink was served right away. It was a Jasmine Highball by GLENMORANGIE THE ORIGINAL, an original highball made by soaking jasmine tea leaves in Highland whiskey with orange aroma. It had a refreshing tea flavor, perfect for the appetizer. And the crystal glass it was served in was beautiful! The amuse-bouche was Cauliflower Panna Cotta with Caviar, a clever dish that balanced the strong flavor of cauliflower by adding cream and gelatin, and the caviar complemented it well. The appetizer was a platter of Roasted Swordfish, Scallops, Couscous, and Taro Fritters. The scallops were made into mousse and placed on a beet sauce, with a dressing that subtly hinted at onion, adding complexity. The swordfish was accompanied by couscous with leeks and shallots, and the crispy taro fritters added a crunchy texture. The green garnish was a mix of Miura vegetables, refreshing the palate. For the drink, I switched to a Freezer Citrus Highball for 1500 yen, an original highball made by freezing lemon zest in The Glenlivet 12-year whiskey. It was delicious and paired well with the fish dish that followed. The fish dish was Roasted Swordfish with Ratatouille and Balsamic Sauce, a complex dish with two sauces that worked well together. Before moving on to the main course, I changed my whiskey to the Nagahama Bordeaux Cask for 3200 yen, a single malt aged in red wine barrels, which was intense at first but gradually revealed a rich flavor. For the main course, I had Grilled Australian Beef Fillet with Truffle Sauce, a classic dish. The dessert was a generous selection of sweets. It was a great learning experience to enjoy whiskey paired with food at this whiskey bar. The refined atmosphere and the sophisticated crowd made it a great place to spend time. This experience taught me a lot, and I look forward to returning with more knowledge about whiskey and food pairings.

I was surprised by the wall full of whiskey bottles. There was a wide variety of highball options to enjoy different flavors. The food was delicious, especially the medium fatty tuna tartare and seasoned skin-on fried potatoes. I would like to bring my whiskey-loving friend here.

I used it for a friend's birthday who loves whiskey. I am very satisfied. The atmosphere of the store is already stylish from the outside. The logo, combined with the atmosphere, feels like it could be in the world of Harry Potter. Inside the store, as the name suggests, a large number of whiskeys are displayed like bookshelves, and just looking at them would be enjoyable for whiskey lovers. All the staff are dressed formally and provide polite guidance. They brought my friend's cake at the right timing. For the meal, I chose the menu with all-you-can-drink Scotch whiskey. There were 6 types, and I think we were able to enjoy the 2-hour plan thoroughly. The food was also very delicious, and I was looking forward to the next meal while enjoying the whiskey. I want to come back again.

On the third stop of the weekend, we went to Tokyo Whisky Library in Omotesando. I was quite drunk, so I don't remember the exact location, but I think it was near CICADA. The place had a museum-like atmosphere with various types of alcohol displayed on the walls. As the name suggests, whisky seemed to be the main focus, but the food also looked delicious. Since we had already eaten a lot at the previous stop, we didn't order much food. We tried a whisky tasting, salmon and ikura risotto, and a chocolate cake. We were all quite drunk, so we started with the chocolate cake to go with the whisky, and then one person suddenly wanted rice, so we added the risotto. We must have seemed like strange customers to the staff.

The atmosphere and the food were excellent! There were many birthday plates being served, and fireworks were brought out in various places, which was funny. I heard they have 1300 types of whiskey, but the most easy-to-drink ones were the domestic ones. It was fun to compare different drinks. This time I went with friends, but I would like to go on a date next time.

I went to a church wedding reception near Omotesando Station. The atmosphere was nice, located on the 2nd floor of the shop. The place had many foreign customers and had a good vibe. I had the 7th Anniversary course which included 5 dishes and 2 drinks (alcoholic beverages). The dishes included Italian burrata with fresh figs, bonito and eggplant with sea urchin, caviar, and Kauai shrimp, clam chowder with baked polenta and bacalao mantecato, Angus beef fillet with truffle and seasonal vegetables, and persimmon semifreddo with berry sauce. The food was delicious and the wine selection was great. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience!

It's right above DIESEL near Omotesando Station. I visited with a reservation on Sunday at 6 pm. The interior was a bit dimly lit with a very lovely atmosphere, and there were many overseas customers. The wall was lined with whisky bottles, quite impressive! The menu was as thick as a reference book, so it seems like you'll have to visit often to find your favorite! The apple highball cocktail was delicious♡ It's on the pricey side, so it's recommended for special occasions.

This is a review for a dinner experience. The restaurant is located in a quiet area just a short walk from Omotesando Station, down a back street. The collection of whiskey displayed on one wall is impressive, with over 1300 varieties. The food and cocktails were delicious. I will definitely visit again.

This time, I visited the trendy restaurant "TOKYO Whisky Library" in Omotesando, where whiskies are lined up like books in a library. The location is a 2-minute walk from Omotesando Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, Hanzomon Line, and Chiyoda Line. The opening hours are 12:00-15:00 for lunch (last order at 14:00) and 17:30-23:00 for dinner (last order at 22:30). I visited for lunch, arriving at 12:00, and there were already customers lined up at the entrance. The exterior gives off a Harry Potter-like vibe, and the interior is amazing with whiskies lined up like books in a library. There are reportedly 1,300 types of whiskies available, making it a perfect spot for dates or special occasions. The seating mainly consists of table seats, with options like sofas, high chairs, and island seats. I was seated at a high chair. The menu includes various courses ranging from 7,700 yen to 5,500 yen with drink options. For lunch, there are reasonable options like 2,800 yen, 3,800 yen, and 3,500 yen. I ordered the most popular course, probably the 3,500 yen one. I started with a white peach gin and tonic, which was delicious. The cocktails here are bound to be good with such a stunning interior. The amuse-bouche was liver pate with mustard on toast, and the bread was freshly baked and tasty. I couldn't resist having seconds. The next dish was a seasonal style appetizer featuring salmon and green tomatoes, which was elegant and delicious. Following that was a risotto with squid and two-colored zucchini, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Before the main meat dish, I tried a Port Charlotte 10-year-old whisky on the rocks, which was a bit strong for me. The main dish was grilled Yamagata-produced Yonezawa pork, which was visually appealing and tasted amazing with its tender and flavorful meat. The sauce had a hint of acidity, complementing the dish well. The accompanying sweet potato was also delicious. Lastly, I had a roll cake with Hyuganatsu citrus, which was one of the best I've had. The cream was perfectly sweet, and the citrus flavor was delightful. I also enjoyed an iced coffee. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and I would love to visit again if given the chance.

Today, I visited TOKYO Whisky Library in Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo. As the name suggests, it is like a "whisky library" with over 1000 bottles of whisky lining the walls. The interior reminded me of the beautiful Ler Devagar bookstore in Porto, Portugal. The menu mainly features whiskies from the UK, as well as Japanese whiskies like Yamazaki, Yoichi, and Hakushu, which are hard to find elsewhere. I tried the Season course, which was originally priced at 7900 yen but discounted to 5900 yen, and it was a great deal considering the quality of food and whisky. The meal started with an Apple Rivet Highball as an aperitif, followed by a whisky tasting of Machir Bay, Suning, and Castaldo. The dishes included an amuse-bouche of pumpkin with caviar, a trout salmon marinated with seasonal vegetables, a pan-fried sea bass with hazelnut sauce and eggplant puree, and a steak dish with Angus beef fillet and US Prime grade harami. The dessert was a lemon roll cake with various fruits and cheese cream. The overall experience was fantastic, with a cozy atmosphere, spacious seating, and a wide variety of food and whisky options. The value for money was excellent, and I look forward to visiting again. Thank you.

I was looking for a place to enjoy drinks and food after visiting the Ota Fine Arts Museum. It is located right near the B3 exit of Omotesando. The appetizer was eggplant ohitashi for a refreshing start, followed by vegetables and salmon. The most delicious dish was the meat. The restaurant mainly focuses on whiskey but the wine was also delicious.

[TOKYO Whisky Library] A dining bar located in a corner of the Santa Chiara Church in Minami Aoyama. I revisited it! Opening the heavy doors and entering the interior, you feel like you are entering a cathedral. Overwhelming with over 1300 types of whiskies displayed on the wall-to-wall bottle rack, it truly is a whisky library. We were seated at a table. The high ceiling and open atmosphere, along with chandeliers and stylish furnishings, enhance the elegant space. The counter seats in the distance also have a nice ambiance. No matter how many times you visit, this place is truly breathtakingly beautiful. This time, we had a course with all-you-can-drink option. ▼Course Menu ◯Today's Amuse-Bouche (Mixed nuts, marinated olives) ◯Caesar Salad (Thick-cut bacon and romaine lettuce) ◯Kitakari Potato Gnocchi with Ragout Sauce ◯US Prime Grade Beef Harami Grill The bacon was thick-cut, romaine lettuce and plenty of parmesan cheese. The gnocchi was chewy with a refined taste of ragout sauce, and it was delicious. The grilled beef harami was tender and cooked just right. The grilled vegetables on the side were also delicious. Since it was a celebration, they prepared an anniversary stand hall cake for us. The large cake appeared with fireworks, and we were thrilled. It was a not-too-sweet adult chiffon cake, which paired perfectly with whisky. ▼Free Drinks ◯Sparkling Wine ◯Wine (Red, White) ◯Sangria (Red, White) ◯Whisky (6 types) ◯Various Soft Drinks Since we were there, we decided to conquer all types of whisky! We had all of them on the rocks (lol): - Fujisanroku 50 - Bask Blended - Canadian Club - Teacher's Highland Cream - Four Roses - Black Nikka Clear Of course, we had them on the rocks without mixing. The true deliciousness of whisky was directly conveyed. I love whisky after all. The calm atmosphere, delicious drinks, and food. Whether you use it as your first stop or second stop, you're guaranteed to be satisfied. Highly recommended for whisky lovers and even those who are not. It's a place where you can enjoy a leisurely adult time. Thank you for the wonderful meal! I will definitely come back.

The whiskey library is lined with over 1300 varieties of whiskey, creating an irresistible space for whiskey lovers. Located in the iconic Minami-Aoyama Santa Chiara Church in Tokyo, TOKYO Whisky Library offers a wide selection of Japanese whiskies such as Yamazaki, Hibiki, Taketsuru, Yoichi, and Ichiro's Malt, with a special all-you-can-drink plan available. A friend who enjoys whiskey mentioned how convenient it is to discover new drinks at a place like this instead of committing to a whole bottle. I recently tried their 7th-anniversary special course featuring uni, caviar, and truffles, which was a delightful experience. The menu included various courses like sparkling wine, original highballs, appetizers, soup, a main dish of Angus beef fillet with truffles, and a dessert of persimmon semifreddo. The combination of flavors and the ambiance of the restaurant made for a truly enjoyable dining experience.

TOKYO Whisky Library 03-6434-1163 5-5-24 Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo 2F of Minami Aoyama Santa Chiara Church https://tokyo-whisky-library-omotesando.com/ I was taken to Omotesando for a meal by a friend who loves whisky. This time, we went to a stylish restaurant where whisky is displayed all over the walls. We had the Summer Course (5900 yen) with a welcome drink. The welcome drink was an Apple Rivet Highball, a slightly sweet aperitif. It was a refreshing drink with apple slices. The amuse-bouche was a caviar-topped pumpkin. When eaten together, the sweetness of the pumpkin stood out, making it taste like a dessert. The appetizer was salmon marinated with seasonal vegetables beautifully arranged. The fish was sea bass poêlé, accompanied by pickles like onions, which were also delicious. The meat dish included fillet and skirt steak. The meat was tender and easy to cut with a knife. It was nice to have plenty of vegetables on the plate as well. We also had bread in between, which was so delicious that we asked for seconds. For dessert, we had a selection of desserts including roll cake, small chocolate cake, fruits, and cheese cream with mango jelly. The coffee was a delicious deep-flavored coffee with crema. It was a long time since I had such a delicious course from start to finish. Keen to encounter some delicious whisky, we ordered two different whiskies at an additional cost. I had an Earl Grey Highball and Versailles Garden. Versailles Garden was a combination of bourbon whisky with crushed raspberries and blackberries, creating a ruby-colored drink with a refreshing yet rich taste. My friend had a Grilled Bacon Highball, which had a smoky bacon aroma. Although my friend suggested savoring the good whisky slowly, we ended up drinking it quickly because it was so delicious. I thought I would take my time and savor it carefully next time, imagining the flavors. There were also several whisky all-you-can-drink courses available, which seemed appealing. I felt like trying out various courses. The menu for the day included: - Apple Rivet Highball - Confit of pumpkin with orange scent and caviar - Trout salmon marinated in seasonal style - Sea bass poêlé with hazelnut sauce and eggplant purée - Australian Angus beef fillet and US Prime Grade skirt steak - Seasonal dessert with mango jelly and a variety of fruits - Bread - Coffee or Tea The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the church premises. Private reservations for 20 to 50 people are possible, making it a great venue for wedding receptions or other events. Oh, it would be nice for a first reception too. Atmosphere: The interior is in brown tones, creating a calm atmosphere. The chandeliers and indirect lighting add to the stylish ambiance. Whisky bottles are lined up on the walls like books in a library, with over 1300 varieties. Directions: Take exit A5 at Omotesando Station, turn right, then turn right at the first traffic light. The beauty of the place was overwhelming with over 1300 types of whisky neatly lined up on the walls, and the sight of the staff climbing the whisky shelves like searching for books in a library was wonderful. [Amuse] Mixed nuts and marinated olives [Salad] Thick-cut bacon and romaine lettuce Caesar salad [Pasta] Kinuakari potato gnocchi Bolognese [Main Dish] Grilled US Prime Grade beef harami steak [Dessert] Anniversary cake We started with a toast with sparkling wine and enjoyed fancy appetizers like Iberico pork salad that paired well with wine. The main beef steak was tender and delicious! It was a luxurious time to enjoy various whiskies in this beautiful space. The dessert cake was not too sweet and had plenty of fruits, which was appreciated. It's a wonderful place that could be used for various special occasions!

■Shop Introduction Today, I came to an adult store to be reincarnated in a different world! I climbed the floating staircase and entered the store. The entrance displayed whiskey boxes and books related to whiskey. As soon as I entered, I felt excited. The atmosphere is really well done. ■Time Visited Weekday, 8:00 PM. There were about 8 groups of customers. ■Food and Drink Experience After confirming allergies, I tried the first course cocktail, "Apple Rivet Highball." It's a highball made with the world's most popular single malt whiskey, Glen Rivet, and apple juice. The addition of fruit juice adds sweetness, making it a cocktail that anyone can enjoy. The amuse-bouche was a confit of young pumpkin with caviar. The saltiness of the caviar enhances the sweetness of the pumpkin. The marinated salmon was served with seasonal vegetables and couscous, with a mild flavor that enhances the salmon's umami. The main dish steak was a luxurious cut of filet and harami, allowing me to enjoy the different textures and flavors while enjoying my drink. The dessert was a roll cake with mascarpone mousse and mango sauce, offering a refreshing taste with the richness of mascarpone and the sweet and sourness of mango. I was surprised by the neatly lined whiskey bottles on the wall. According to the official information, they have 1300 different types. They are not just for display but actual bottles, and when you order a displayed whiskey, the staff climbs a ladder to retrieve the bottle. It's quite a spectacle! Besides whiskey, they also offer a variety of other drinks, making it a place where both whiskey lovers and non-whiskey drinkers can enjoy the food while having a great time. ■Interior and Atmosphere There is a bar counter, but it's not a "quiet, upscale bar" but a place to casually enjoy various whiskeys. It's also safe to have fun with a group. The staff were all in suits and provided attentive service.
