On my way back from Inagi, I visited for the first time and was finally able to buy my beloved Bâtard bread thanks to MyReviewer-san. I also got some red tea and apple bread, burdock salad Danish, baked curry bread, sweet potato bread, and grape bread. The Bâtard had a beautiful pattern on the surface and the smell of wheat when cut into it. The more I chewed, the more I could taste the deliciousness of the bread. It was so good that it disappeared quickly, whether eaten as is or lightly toasted. The red tea and apple bread had finely kneaded tea leaves with sweet and sour apple bits peeking through. The fruity aroma became even more pronounced when reheated. The subtle apple flavor was charming, making it a lovely bread for a table roll. The burdock salad Danish was a savory bread with shredded burdock salad and sesame flavors. The seasoning paired well with the Danish dough, and the crunchy texture and aroma of the burdock were delightful. The baked curry bread had a spicy Indian curry scent and flavor. It was filled with ingredients like carrots, potatoes, and meat, offering a refreshing spiciness when reheated to a crisp. The sweet potato bread had a soft and gentle sweetness, with sweet potato compote in a sandwich bread dough. Cutting it into small pieces revealed the bread's charm. The grape bread had the perfect amount of raisins, allowing the sweetness to be enjoyed in every bite. Each bread was meticulously crafted, with its own unique charm. I visited in the evening this time, so I hope to go earlier next time to try the bread I haven't tasted yet. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited a bakery that specializes in hard bread. I bought a chocolate croissant, pumpkin and walnut bread, curry bread, and corn bread. The chocolate croissant was delicious, but the curry bread had few fillings and was hard. The walnut bread and corn bread, recommended for children, were also hard, making it difficult for my almost 2-year-old child to eat. The atmosphere of the shop was nice, but I felt uncomfortable being watched over the counter while choosing bread. I would like to try other bread options if I have the chance.

I came to Inagi-Naganuma Station after a long time, and even though I hadn't planned on it, I ended up stopping by... maybe I actually like it here? (laughs) I don't particularly prefer Do-san's bread, but I haven't quite figured out the style yet, so I find myself wondering, "What is this like? What about this?" This time, I bought two items that were displayed at the entrance. The Olive Ciabatta was 378 yen, and the Baked Sweet Potato Whip was 237 yen. The prices I mentioned are including tax, but it was a bit disappointing that the prices displayed prominently in the store were without tax. I wish they had just included the tax in the prices. The Olive Ciabatta had a decent amount of hydration, but the texture was quite crisp for a Ciabatta. It may be somewhat unusual for a Ciabatta. The olives, especially the black ones, stood out, but they also used green olives. With a good amount of olives mixed in, it was quite enjoyable even on its own. With that much olive flavor, you might not even notice the texture of the bread that much. The Baked Sweet Potato Whip is made with mascarpone whipped cream mixed with a sweet potato paste instead of the usual sweet bean paste. I didn't really taste the baked sweet potato, but compared to regular sweet bean paste, it might have a baked sweet potato flavor. The mascarpone is whipped with the paste, but I felt that it might have been easier to appreciate each element separately without mixing them. Also, instead of sweet bean paste, using crushed sweet potatoes directly in the dough might have been interesting. But maybe that would have been too expensive at 237 yen. (^^;)

I came close by and saw that this bakery had various creative bread options, so I decided to try their bread this time. I bought the Olive Ciabatta with olives kneaded into the dough for 350 yen, and the Sweet Potato Whipped Cream for 220 yen. I was surprised to find out at the register that the prices were excluding tax, which made them more expensive than I had expected. The Olive Ciabatta had a dense texture and a subtle flavor, complemented well by the olives kneaded into it. The Sweet Potato Whipped Cream seemed to be a combination of sweet potato paste and whipped mascarpone, although I couldn't taste much of the sweet potato flavor, which was a bit disappointing.

I tried the bread subscription service "Pansuku" and it was exciting not knowing which bakery from around the country the bread would come from. It was interesting to encounter shops I wouldn't normally visit. This time, I received bread from this shop. The bread, packed individually and delivered frozen, needs to be naturally thawed and then reheated before eating. The bread is known for its moist texture and the natural aroma of wheat, achieved through carefully selected natural yeast and long, low-temperature fermentation. Each bread indeed showcased these characteristics. The most popular one was the "sweet potato bread," but personally, I didn't taste much sweet potato in it. It had a subtle natural sweetness. The "anchovy bread" had a strong anchovy flavor throughout, which might divide opinions due to its fishy smell. I tried it with olive oil, and I also enjoyed the buttery "Michi" bread and the cheese-filled "pain au fromage." I haven't tried all eight varieties that were delivered, but I appreciate the delicious, moist and chewy bread with a sense of craftsmanship. Thank you for the meal.

On weekdays, there are already many breads lined up before 9 am! I love the soft bread series made from bread dough! They are fluffy and delicious ^_^ Baked curry bread ¥220, sweet potato bread ¥180, garlic baguette ¥200, Mont Blanc ¥220. I want them to bring out the mentaiko baguette next time...!!

Bread such as baguettes and batards do not have a special impact in terms of texture, but they are relatively soft and easy to eat. However, the unique sweetness or umami from long fermentation seems to be lacking. The crust of baguettes and batards looks visually appealing. Cooking bread like anpan and curry bread are reasonably priced, while more sophisticated options like calzones are noticeably more expensive, making them seem a bit intimidating.

A lovely bakery in front of the station. Even in the evening, there were plenty of breads to choose from, which was nice. I bought a tea and apple bread, and a berry bread. They didn't blow me away, but they had a simple and pleasant taste. The pumpkin walnut bread looked delicious, so I'd like to try that next time. Thank you for the meal!

I think bread such as baguette (260 yen) would be considered as a meal bread, but since the yeast used is not the typical yeast, the flavor may be subtle. I am not very sensitive to these differences, but I believe those who are more sensitive would notice it right away. I can eat bread made with regular yeast without any issues, but bread made with fruit-derived yeast like grape seed may have a unique natural sweet scent. The baguette has a softer inner layer compared to the rough exterior, making it easy for anyone to enjoy as a meal bread. There seems to be a variety of bread such as seasonal bread, sandwich bread, Danish pastries, etc., so I think it would be nice to visit when you can and discover different kinds of bread.

The bread baked by the owner, who is from Maison Kayser, is exceptionally delicious. The hard bread, made without eggs, butter, oil, or sugar, is a self-subscription item. With the redevelopment of Nagasawa Station in Inagi progressing, the Kawasaki Highway and the station are now connected by a road, making it easy to reach from Fuchu. It's still the same from Chofu, but the return is easy. The usual butter bread @280 yen is a great match for drinks, and the mentaiko edamame cheese tartine @345 yen is delicious.

Inagicho Nagasuna Station near popular bakery. I had the chance to see the owner making bread with homemade natural yeast, fermented at low temperature for a long time.
- "Melon Pan" 170 yen: The classic cute melon bread with a soft and crumbly cookie exterior that is easy to eat.
- "Wiener Roll" 185 yen: A cute roll with a whole wiener wrapped in bread dough. A classic bread that makes you crave beer.
- "Keema Curry" 220 yen: A spicy and aromatic curry bread made with 33 different spices. It may be too spicy for small children, but for most people, it's a delicious curry bread experience you won't be able to forget. They have new creations coming out, so I'll definitely be going back!

I had two "Bataard" breads reserved for me at 280 yen each for a regular purchase and enjoyed them while viewing cherry blossoms in the afternoon. I also bought the new "Mackerel and Lotus Root Mentaiko Cream Cheese" (345 yen). The tartine made with my special baguette was delicious. It had a mild saltiness that brought out the flavors of the ingredients, perfect for pairing with alcohol. The mackerel was fresh with no fishy smell, and the crunchy texture of the lotus root was delightful.

Bataarl at 280 yen x2, sliced into 1.5cm as usual. The new Bacon Pepper at 200 yen, said to go well with sake, and the Fig Bread at 194 yen. The Bacon Pepper has a good amount of pepper and less salt, which is nice. The Fig Bread has a nice softness and sweetness, it's also good. The long-awaited Inagi Nagayama Station area redevelopment is almost complete, connecting the north and south sides of the station to Kawasaki Kaido.

I finally managed to visit the small bakery Michi in Inagi Nagasuna after trying to go there several times. It's a cute little bakery known for its moist baguettes. I recommend trying the various sandwiches made with these moist baguettes. The croque monsieur is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and even though the baguettes are small, they are quite filling. They also sell a dessert bread called Mont Blanc bread, which seems to change with the seasons. It's a joy to see the new forms of Mont Blanc bread. #Boulangerie #bread #bakery #groceries #pan #raisin bread #marathon #diet #cinnamon #rice #bread #coffee time #bakery #Boulangerie Michi #curry bread #corona #French bread #grape bread #anpanman #chocolate #bakery #Inagi Nagasuna #Mont Blanc

I brought my eco bag and spatula from Keuka because plastic bags are now charged starting this month. I bought a Butter-free Baguette for 280 yen and a Traditional Baguette for 280 yen. I asked for the Butter-free Baguette to be sliced into 1.5cm rounds and the Traditional Baguette into 3cm rounds for freezing. The construction work in front of the station is still ongoing.

There is a new bakery near Inagi-Naganuma Station. They bake bread using their own natural yeast and ferment the dough at low temperatures for a long time. The "Croque Monsieur" costs 320 yen (excluding tax) and is said to have originated in a cafe near the Paris Opera House. It's a sandwich with white sauce and ham inside. The "Baked Curry Bread" costs 180 yen (excluding tax) and has a spicy masala flavor, similar to authentic Indian curry. It's a healthy option as it's not fried. The "German Frank" costs 400 yen (excluding tax) and features German sausage with sauerkraut. It goes well with beer due to its meaty texture and peppery taste. They have new items coming out regularly, so I'll definitely go back to try more! Enjoy♪

I arrived at the store around 16:30, but the red bean paste bread I was looking for was not available at the storefront today and tomorrow due to ingredient delivery issues. It seems to be a popular bread, so it's better to go early. The bread at the store is generally small, which may be just the right size for a light snack. However, it may feel a bit lacking for those who want a hearty meal. The prices seem a bit high considering the small size of the bread. I wish they would increase the size even if the price goes up a bit. The overall prices were around 200 yen each. I bought a "Bâtard" for 260 yen and a "Walnut Kinako Bread" for 185 yen. The Bâtard had a German bread-like texture with a crunchy crust and a chewy interior that brought out more flavor as you chewed. It might be good for making small sandwiches by slicing it thinly. The Walnut Kinako Bread had a nice aroma of kinako and a good balance of crunchy walnuts. It was clear that it was made with care. Overall, I wish it was a bit bigger in size.

Tokyo, Inagi City, Higashi-Naganuma. A popular bakery among local residents that opened in December 2018. The nearest station is Inagi-Naganuma Station on the Nambu Line. It is located on the north side of the station along the road. The croissants are recommendedヾ(о-ω・)ノ⌒★ It is a small bakery run by a husband and wife. The husband is known to be from the famous "Maison Kayser" bakery. Today's order: Croissant x2 for 160 yen each, Eggplant Keema Curry for 200 yen, Baked Curry Bun for 180 yen, and Four-Berry and Yogurt Danish for 200 yen. Croissant has a crispy crust and a fluffy interior with a perfect buttery flavor. It is delicious(*´-`) The baked curry bun, not fried, has a mild and gently cooked sweet curry inside. The new Eggplant Keema Curry Bun is a summer Danish with Keema curry made of 17 kinds of spices and grilled eggplant. I also tried the spring Danish with strawberries, raspberries, cranberries, blueberries, and custard yogurt. With attentive service, a good atmosphere, reasonable prices, and great taste, it's easy to see why this bakery is popular among locals. Highly recommended bakery(っ´▽`)っ #SmallSumo #LingerieRoad #Bakery #Bakery #InagiSupportAssociation #Croissant #MaisonKayser #Takeout #PopularAmongLocals #LikelyToVisitAgain

Thank you for your cooperation, everyone♪ [Store Guidance] Thank you for your daily patronage. Our store does not have an eat-in space, so we are currently operating as usual. We are taking measures such as ventilation, disinfection of tongs and trays with alcohol, and wearing masks. However, there have been some incidents of trouble between customers after crowded lunch hours. People have different perceptions of the coronavirus. When people who are very concerned and those who are not concerned at all are in the same space, conflicts are inevitable. We kindly ask our customers to: ・When visiting with family, please have only one representative enter the store. ・Please wear a mask when entering the store. ・Although young children may want to touch tongs, we ask that parents handle this. It is very difficult for staff to strongly enforce these rules. We understand that everyone is frustrated with the current situation. Please, do not take it out on the staff. It is a long-term battle economically and mentally. Please cooperate with actions that show consideration. * * * Grateful that they are still open as usual from 7:30 in the morning. I went by car in the early morning, parked in the store's parking lot, made sure there were no other customers inside, and then entered. I enjoyed the Croque Monsieur in the car. Rich béchamel sauce, cheese, well-seasoned ham, and a firm Campania bread with a good bite. Just took out a delicious bistro, Sanfoccon, in Yoyogiuehara, so the Baguette Traditionnel was a perfect match♪

A bakery located near Inagi-Naganuma Station on the JR Nanbu Line that makes you want to take a little detour to buy their bread. The bread here is generally light but each one has its own unique flavor. Unlike many bakeries with similar dough, here you can truly enjoy the individual characteristics of each bread. The croissants have a beautiful, uniform layer with a rich buttery taste that isn't overwhelming, while the pastries have a dense, donut-like dough. Of course, there are also simple baguettes that go well with any meal. What shines through is their strong commitment to quality ingredients. For example, their custard cream is rich without relying too much on sugar for sweetness. Each bread is generously filled with ingredients, and the variety of combinations enhances the flavor possibilities. Even a simple red bean butter bread has a depth of flavor that is truly remarkable. The high quality of the bread, combined with their dedication to ingredients, elevates the overall experience. They open at 7:30 am on weekends as well, so even right after opening, you can find a wide selection of bread. I look forward to visiting on weekend mornings as a special treat.
