Eating out daily to conquer the top 100 restaurants. Today, I visited Il Pizzaiolo in Sangenjaya, an Italian restaurant known for its pizza. I arrived around 6:00 PM at the restaurant, which is located in a standalone building with the option to dine at the terrace tables. The place exudes an Italian vibe and looks very stylish. We were led downstairs and seated at our table. We ordered a mixed appetizer for 1,800 yen, house-smoked bonito carpaccio for 1,400 yen, Treviso salad with anchovy dressing for 800 yen, Margherita pizza for 1,400 yen, Salsiccia pizza for 1,600 yen, Angus beef grill for 2,200 yen, house-made gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce and white truffle flavor for 1,600 yen, and red shrimp and bottarga linguine for 1,800 yen. We ate a lot, three men indulging themselves. The pizza truly lives up to its reputation as one of the top 100. Authentic pizza baked in a kiln. The crust and cheese are both top-notch. Not just the pizza, but the meat, salad, and appetizers were all delicious. Considering the quality, the prices seemed surprisingly reasonable. The cost performance is excellent, and everything was in great shape.

The terrace is dog-friendly, and the pizza for lunch was soft and chewy with a rich cheese flavor, very delicious! I didn't like the anchovy salad appetizer. The lunch set for 2600 yen seemed a bit expensive, so maybe ordering a la carte would have been better. The male waiter was a bit pushy and seemed unfriendly, but the other staff were nice!

It was hot so I went to a popular restaurant near the station. In addition to the lunch set, I also had beer and wine. The set came with warm vegetables and a drink. It was delicious. It was my first time there, so I had Margherita and Marinara. The tomato in the Marinara was sweet and delicious.

I visited around noon on a regular day. I was able to enter without waiting. I ordered Quattro Formaggi pizza. The appetizer plate was also generous in size. The pizza itself was large and very juicy and delicious. However, personally, I love honey, and I felt that the amount was a bit lacking since the honey came in individual packaging. The service from the staff was excellent, and I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

Il Pizzaiolo in Sangenjaya. Just a 2-minute walk from the station, you'll find a wood-fired oven right as you walk in, with a wild-looking man making pizzas. The menu includes unique pizzas like 'Nduja with basil, cherry tomatoes, ricotta, Parmesan, and mozzarella. I also tried the tuna and mixed bean salad with karasumi. The Chiitinielli pizza with shirasu, lemon, black olives, and mozzarella was simple but delicious. The name 'Pizzaiolo' means pizza craftsman in Italian, and the pizzas here were truly a work of art. Great experience, highly recommended!

Romana. It's a lunch set, so it comes with hot vegetables, a drink, and a baked dessert. All for under 2000 yen, which is great value. I arrived before lunchtime and was able to get a seat without a reservation, but soon after, many reserved tables were filled with elegant ladies. Is this what they call a "San-cha Madam" lunch spot? Well, if the food is delicious and reasonably priced, it's no surprise. The pizza was freshly baked in a kiln, with a perfect balance of crispiness and freshness. The cheese was especially delicious. The hot vegetables were also tasty, no wonder this place is becoming popular. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I visited this Italian restaurant with a friend for the first time. The atmosphere was lovely, with the option to dine on the terrace. This time, we made a reservation and visited with 7 people. The pizza looked delicious, but we were also drawn to the a la carte menu, so we chose this restaurant over another one we were considering. We ordered a meat appetizer platter, house-smoked swordfish carpaccio, beef tripe, Margherita pizza, Chicchiere pasta, Prosciutto and arugula salad, potato gnocchi, and Angus beef grill. Everything, including dessert, was delicious! Since we had a large group, we ordered all our alcohol by the bottle - 1 bottle of Prosecco, 4 bottles of red wine, we drank a lot, haha. We would like to try other pizzas as well, so we hope to visit again soon. Thank you for the delicious meal! ☆

We used the lunch course, which had a lot of volume, so we were able to enjoy various types of appetizers and pizza without overlapping with our dining companions. There was an 11-year-old child with us, but understandably, that course was too much for them to finish, so we were advised to make sure to order something from the a la carte menu. The taste was delicious.

We had the Saturday lunch course. The small shrimp and spear squid were exquisite. There were four of us, so we ordered four different pizzas, all of which were delicious! Knowing the price of the weekday lunch makes the prices on weekends seem quite high, haha. The only downside was that there was no pasta available. It would have been nice to have pasta as well when there are four people.

Lunch costs around 1500 yen and is a bit on the expensive side, but it comes with appetizers, drinks, and some tea sweets, so it's worth it. The pizza is chewy and very delicious! It's quite satisfying! Unfortunately, it seems like they are not serving pasta lunches at the moment.

Located between Nishitaishido Hall and Sangenjaya, this excellent restaurant offers authentic Neapolitan pizza baked in a wood-fired oven at a great value. Upon entering, you will see a stern-looking pizzaiolo in front of the high-temperature oven, while the welcoming lady, perhaps the owner, manages the dining area. The atmosphere is complemented by tattooed foreign staff members who fit right in. For lunch, you can choose from 10 types of pizza, which come with a side of warm vegetables and a coffee. Although primarily a pizzeria, they also offer main meat dishes and tripe stew for dinner, perfect for enjoying with a glass of wine. - Margherita: ¥1400 The starter of assorted warm vegetables includes cabbage, asparagus, potatoes, and beans cooked in olive oil, simple yet delicious. The Margherita pizza is served with perfect timing, with a sizzling hot surface and a crispy, light base that allows you to enjoy the mild acidity of the tomatoes and milky mozzarella. - Pistachio Tiramisu: ¥600 For dessert, try the tiramisu with pistachios, featuring layers of mascarpone and espresso, topped with roasted pistachios for a delightful aroma. I visited this restaurant for lunch this time, after being incredibly impressed during dinner last time. I arrived a little after 1pm on a weekday. Just like last time, the restaurant was full but not too noisy, creating a lovely atmosphere. I ordered the Marinara (1430 yen) and Romana (1650 yen) for lunch. First, a plate of warm vegetables was served, and the taste of the vegetables was clearly brought out, with a perfect balance of olive oil, salt, and pepper. It was very satisfying. Then, onto the pizza. The standout feature of this restaurant is the unique dough, which has an unmistakable wheat flavor that really stands out. That's why, personally, I recommend the Marinara without mozzarella as the best option to fully appreciate the dough. The lunch was complete with coffee and biscotti, leaving me fully satisfied.

I visited this restaurant after more than 10 years, as it holds good memories for me. As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was excited by the aroma of ingredients cooking in the pizza oven. Although there were various tempting a la carte options, I decided to order the Meat Appetizer Assortment (¥1980) and Pizza Fantasia (¥2090) since it had been a while. The assortment was incredibly delicious and disappeared in seconds. The rillettes, in particular, left a strong impression. Next, the pizza, which became my number one favorite, left me in awe with its amazing taste. The strong commitment to quality in the dough was evident. I cannot fully express how good it was in words. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends and acquaintances. Visited around 7 pm on Saturday night. The restaurant was almost full, so it's better to make a reservation. Ordered 2 pizzas, one with Nduja using tomato sauce and ricotta cheese. The acidity of the tomato sauce and the slightly spicy sauce matched well, and it was very delicious with plenty of cheese. The second pizza was a bit unusual with swordfish and lemon. It was refreshing and tasty, but the swordfish flavor was not very strong, so it was a bit less impactful than expected. Although I didn't order pasta or dessert this time, they seem to have a good variety, so I would like to try them next time. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere like a hidden gem, perfect for a date night.

I was taken out for a dinner on a special occasion. We had made a reservation and arrived around 7:00 pm. The restaurant was almost full, but every table seemed to be enjoying their meals peacefully, creating a very calm atmosphere. After much deliberation, we ordered the meat platter for 1,980 yen from the appetizer menu and the Fantasia pizza (with mozzarella, buffalo mozzarella, arugula, and fresh tomatoes) for 2,090 yen from the selection of nearly 20 pizza options. The bread served as an appetizer was surprisingly delicious, with a chewy texture and a hint of saltiness, making it enjoyable on its own. This raised our expectations for the pizza. The meat platter was outstanding, with no unpleasant smell, and we devoured it quickly. The presentation was colorful and beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the rillettes and olive fritters. The main pizza had a chewy crust that paired perfectly with the fresh vegetables. The olive oil drizzled on top was also delicious. Choosing the Fantasia pizza was definitely the right decision. It was satisfyingly filling, but we couldn't stop eating and before we knew it, the meal was over. We also enjoyed Italian beer and a nice red wine, making us very happy. I went to the popular Il Pittore in Sangenjaya for lunch on a public holiday Thursday with my partner. We made a reservation by phone the day before this time, as last time we went on a Sunday morning without a reservation and it was already fully booked. The restaurant is conveniently located near the station, with a terrace table outside and a cozy interior. For lunch, we ordered the following set menu: Lunch Set: ¥2860 ① Homemade smoked bonito carpaccio ② Margherita pizza ③ Coffee Additional items: * Puttanesca: ¥1650 * Blood orange juice: ¥660 Total: ¥5170 The bonito carpaccio had a strong smoky flavor and was delicious. The Margherita pizza was simple but had a perfect balance of tomato sauce, cheese, and dough. The Puttanesca had plenty of mozzarella cheese and the balance of salty olives and tomato texture was lovely. Reservations are essential on weekends, but I think it would be great for a weekend lunch with a couple or family, or even for a date night dinner!

[Todoroki Line Stroll] Today is Cat Day, so I decided to take a stroll around the Tokyu Setagaya Line starting from Gotokuji. Purchasing a one-day pass for the Tokyu Setagaya Line was very convenient. First, I visited Hanegi Park, had lunch in Sangenjaya, then explored Gotokuji, Kamimachi, and the Boroichi Street in Setagaya. The place I had lunch at was here. [Sangenjaya Station Area on the Setagaya Line] Although the nearest station is listed as Nishitaishido on Tabelog, the actual nearest station is Sangenjaya Station on the Tokyu Setagaya Line. It's a short walk from Sangenjaya Station along the railway tracks, near the level crossing, where you'll find this place. I decided to have lunch here. The menu here mainly consists of pizzas with a set of warm vegetables and a drink. So, I ordered Margherita con Prosciutto and Quattro Formaggi. [Appetizer] The appetizer came with warm vegetables, which were delicious. The seasoning was just right, and it had a healthy feel to it. It used a lot of beans, had a good salty taste, and the seasoning on the potatoes was excellent. I wish I could have more of this. Adding young corn to this would make it even better. Maybe this is due to seasonal factors? [Pizza] Margherita con Prosciutto, Quattro Formaggi First of all, the pizzas were quite filling. The texture was chewy. The rich taste of mozzarella cheese and the sharp taste of the prosciutto combined to make it delicious. The Quattro Formaggi also had a rich cheese flavor and was delicious. Adding honey made it more rounded in flavor, expanding the depth of taste. This was also delicious. I had plans to visit Sangenjaya for the first time in a while and decided to try this place that had caught my attention. It was a weekday and I was dining alone, so I was seated right away. I ordered the Margherita pizza set for lunch, as it was my first time at this restaurant. The set came with a salad and a drink, costing around 1500 yen. The salad included carrots, broccoli, Chinese cabbage, asparagus, and warm vegetables. Underneath the Chinese cabbage, there were various types of beans, making it a satisfying salad. The carrots, in particular, were sweet and delicious. After finishing the salad, the pizza arrived promptly. It was huge! The pizza had a very milky cheese flavor with a strong tomato acidity. The dough had a distinct wheat flavor. The dough was thick but perfect for savoring the natural taste of the dough. The slightly burnt parts were also delicious. The pizza was quite filling, but I enjoyed it until the last bite. Thank you for the meal. Truly a top-notch restaurant.
