I participated in the Tama Lake Ekiden and used this place for the after-party. The all-you-can-drink option for 3000 yen is cheap. The dishes that came out were not exceptional, but they were tasty enough. The Indian wine was different from what I usually drink and had a fresh taste. I ended up drinking 7 beers to start. The staff were friendly too. I might use this place again for next year's tournament.

I was satisfied with the free nan refills and the delicious chicken sag. I tried the spinach curry for the first time, and despite its appearance, it was very tasty. The sweetness of the spinach was great. I thought it might have been even better if I had ordered it less spicy. I heard they close early sometimes, so be careful when going at night.

Bihani, an ethnic cuisine restaurant located at the Akasaka Michi intersection, a 3-minute walk from Musashi Yamato Station on the Seibu Tama Lake Line. I visited for the first time during lunchtime in mid-July. The restaurant has a total of 15 seats, including counter seats and table seats. I chose a seat at the end of the counter. Looking at the menu on the table, they offer 10 types of curry sets and 8 types of Thai and Vietnamese dishes for lunch. On that day, I ordered the "Keema Naan Set" (1100 yen) from the curry set menu. There were two families and two other customers in the restaurant, and the table seats were full. After about a 20-minute wait, my curry set was finally served. The "Keema Naan Set" includes Keema Masala Curry, Keema Naan, salad, and a soft drink (I chose lassi). The Keema Naan, with the filling sandwiched inside the bread, was delicious and piping hot. It was my first time trying naan with filling, and it had a satisfying texture. I chose the spiciest level, "extra hot," for the curry, and as someone who can handle spice well, I found it to be just right and enjoyed it. I finished the meal feeling full and satisfied. There was an Indian restaurant near Musashi Yamato station that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. It used to be a izakaya, if I remember correctly. I decided to visit the place. Upon entering, I was greeted by a calm and slightly different master compared to the usual Indian and Nepalese restaurant staff. He welcomed me in a soft voice. I usually order Sag dishes, so I ordered the Sag Chicken Curry with Naan. While waiting, I toasted with a lunch beer. The curry was served soon after. I'm not an expert in this type of cuisine, but it tasted good. The Naan was perfectly baked and delicious. The master's tone was low and his Japanese was a bit off, but he was attentive. He even noticed when I needed a refill on Naan and offered it at the right moment, saying "Would you like a refill?" It's important to have this kind of service.
