The omurice was very generous in portion size, with both rice and omelette. When you cut it open, the egg was perfectly runny. The sauce was served piping hot, and had a mild and delicious flavor that complemented the omurice well. The appetizers were also tasty. Since the omurice is quite filling, ordering one omurice dish plus a few appetizers might be just right.

It takes a little over 5 minutes to walk from Gotanda Station. Oimachi Hirokoji Station is closer. There were mostly female customers on the day I visited. I ordered the fluffy omelette rice lunch set (with ketchup). It came with salad, soup, and a small dessert for 1000 yen. The omelette on top of the rice was really fluffy and when I broke it with a spoon, it turned into scrambled eggs, showing great skill. The quality of the food, along with the salad, soup, and dessert included, makes it a great value for the price.

This time, we chose the Chef's choice course for 2500 yen as listed on their website. There is also a table charge of 300 yen. We were served a mini soup as a starter, which tasted delicious with just the right amount of pepper. Next, we had fish carpaccio and salad (each served in two plates for sharing). The fish, possibly sea bream, was well-prepared. The salad had a variety of colorful ingredients. Then, we had sautéed Oyama chicken. It was tender and the sauce was excellent! I wanted to ask for more bread to soak up the sauce, but I resisted (laughs). Next, we had pasta and omurice, each served in one plate. I regret not taking any photos. Cutting into the omelette on top of the chicken rice was exciting. The creamy egg spread over the dish was delightful! Both the pasta and omurice were perfect! Lastly, we each had a small serving of ice cream. This concluded the course. For 2500 yen, I think it was great value for money. The chef and the owner were friendly, and I would love to visit this restaurant again.

I'm glad I chose the mentaiko cream sauce, as it adds more flavor. The rice is a bit mushy and not particularly tasty, but the omelette is very delicious. Overall, it's not bad. When it comes to omurice with a fluffy omelette, YOU in Higashi Ginza is famous, but the sad feeling of the chicken rice is about the same. However, the portion of omelette is larger here, there is no need to wait in line, the overall amount of food is generous, and the cost-effectiveness is excellent. I think this is a better restaurant. I didn't want to go back to YOU, but I would come back here. However, since I believe the omurice I make at home is the best in the world, I will try other menu items here.
