I had been to Kabura-ya in Kamata a few times when I was just becoming an adult, but my memories from that time have faded, so I visited the Gotanda location alone for the first time in over 10 years. First of all, it's really cheap! I thought the grilled offal might be tough since it's so cheap, but it came out soft, without any smell, and with a delicious seasoning. The simmered offal was also delicious, and I wish I had revisited sooner. I used to like Sakaba Ping around here, but I ended up thinking that Kabura-ya is also great. The service is fast overall, with excellent operations. It's a great place where you can easily enter at a reasonable price, whether alone or in a group. I'm definitely going back alone to drink. Thank you for the meal.

The kabura-ya restaurant was great again this weekend. The Gotanda branch has chairs so you can sit and enjoy. The grilled pork and grilled chicken are the main dishes, but the oden we had this time was also delicious. We stayed for almost 3 hours with 4 people and it cost around 13,000 yen. It's a reasonable restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

Cheap and delicious! The staff are also very friendly. It's recommended to go early as they often sell out of yakitori late in the evening. My favorites are motsu stew, stuffed peppers with meat, pickled red turnips, and yakitori.

I went there for the first time with him! The atmosphere was nice, and the food was very delicious. It was a bit crowded, so when you call for an order, they always say "please wait a moment," and sometimes you have to wait and the order doesn't come. Maybe regular customers are given priority? The food was delicious, so I would like to go again if I have the chance.

In this corner of Nishi-Gotanda, there is a drinking area. It's around 4 pm and I suddenly finished work, feeling like having a drink. However, PING opens at 5 pm, and Kane will open at 4:30 pm... Surprisingly, there are few places where you can drink during the day. I might have to go to Higashi-Gotanda for that... At that moment, there is "Kaburaya" which opens at 4 pm. It's a precious place. I casually walked in. Since I already knew the quality, I could order without worry. The sauce here is really good. But, they stubbornly don't serve Hoppy. It's like an adult cafe. That's Kaburaya for you.

I came to Tokyo on a business trip and decided to visit a stewed food restaurant that I used to frequent in the past. They don't have pork tripe, but there are plenty of other options to enjoy. Personally, I really like the kombu and potato. The black hanpen sells out quickly, so it's better to order it early. I couldn't resist and ended up ordering the stewed food twice. The yakitori is also affordable and enjoyable, with a choice of sauce or salt. This time I only ordered four items. The dipping miso is also delicious.

On New Year's Day at 4:00 PM, while strolling around looking for a place to relax, I stumbled upon a newly opened restaurant called Kabura-ya right next to Kabe Masaru. It seemed to specialize in yakitori and oden. The atmosphere was like a casual pub, cleaner and more welcoming than Kabe Masaru. It had a decent capacity. Since it had just opened, I was the first customer. The menu mentioned that they had a special menu for the day due to not having any motsu (offal) in stock. The prices were quite affordable, ranging from ¥80 to ¥150 for skewers, ¥280 for side dishes like motsu-ni, and ¥300 to ¥400 for drinks. I ordered the following: chicken liver, bonjiri (tail), negima (chicken and leek skewers), heart, young chicken, pork belly oden (with egg and daikon radish), fried chicken (soy sauce and salt flavors), Kabura-ya motsu-ni, menchi katsu, draft beer, lemon sour, green tea highball, and sudachi sour. The total bill came to ¥3320. The cost performance was excellent! The skewers, in particular, were delicious. Despite the common price range of around ¥100 per skewer, the quality here was better than most. The skewers were well-cooked, tender, and tasty. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and I was especially impressed by the quality of the skewers. It's a great place for a casual solo drink with this kind of cost performance. The staff were also friendly. I will definitely visit again.

There is a chain restaurant near Gotanda Station West Exit where you can enjoy Shizuoka oden. The atmosphere is lively with young staff, and the Shizuoka oden is quite delicious, made with local ingredients. We also tried the fried black hanpen and other fried dishes, all of which were tasty. While I usually don't frequent chain izakayas, I would definitely consider coming back here for a quick bite and drink.

Unlike Nakano and Higashi-Ikebukuro branches, this branch opens at 5pm. I come here when there is no state of emergency. I love this chain because it is wallet-friendly and the taste is good, so I easily become addicted. This time, I tried "hatsumoto" for the first time. It was delicious but a bit firm with a crunchy texture. I decided to stick to my usual course of harami, kashira, pork belly, and tongue. I also tried the motsu simmer this time. It was amazing! This chain is definitely worth 3150 yen!

I met up with a senior from my college days and had a casual drink together. The place was crowded, so we ended up standing and drinking near the entrance. I've been wanting to come here for a while and finally made it. When it comes to izakaya-style drinking, this place is great for cheap drinks like beer and highballs under 400 yen, and skewers starting at 80 yen. I ordered cheese tsukune, negima, wakadori, and bonjiri, and they were all delicious and satisfying in quality and quantity. They even offer dishes that are typically served on plates as skewers, like chicken nanban. This time I tried the "Butcher's Menchi Katsu" and it was delicious. The prices attract a younger crowd, so as an older customer, I felt a bit out of place at first, but the tasty and affordable food quickly made me feel comfortable. I can't wait to come back soon.

Kaburaya Hanakin is a great izakaya where you can drink easily, get properly drunk, and enjoy yourself at a low cost. I felt relieved that there were empty seats available. I ordered a platter of grilled pork skewers and grilled salmon belly skewers. The grilled pork skewers were delicious and safe to order, with various cuts available. The grilled salmon belly skewers were a rare dish, but the moderate amount of fatty meat paired perfectly with alcohol. There is also a wide variety of single-item dishes that go well with drinks, so I recommend trying them together with your drinks.

On Friday night, I was in the mood for a second round of drinks. So, I visited "Kaburaya" in Nishi-Gotanda. The place was lively when I entered. I sat at a table and toasted with a Calpis sour. The milky drink for Friday night second rounds was the best. We ordered some dishes somewhat randomly. The taste was average. The bill came out to a little over 1000 yen per person, but it was a bit inconvenient that they only accepted cash with a smile. If I have the chance next time, I'd like to consider using it for a dreamy first round as well.

It's Friday night at 10pm and I'm drinking alone in Gotanda. I thought I could find a place easily since there were a lot of drunk salarymen heading towards the station, but I was wrong. Every place I checked was either full or packed to the brim. Finally, I found this place. The counter seats had only two other customers, so it seemed relaxed. I ordered a draft beer and looked at the menu - the appetizers were cheap! Skewers were 80 yen each, while oden and fried foods were 100 yen. The most expensive item was 280 yen. By the way, pickles and cabbage were also 280 yen. It was past 10pm so some items were sold out, but I started with a few skewers and motsu stew with grilled black hanpen. Unfortunately, the black hanpen for oden was sold out. The dishes were a bit small but tasty overall, considering the price. However, the beer (398 yen excluding tax) came in a small glass, so it wasn't as cost-effective as the food. I switched to a 100 yen cheaper chu-hi for my second drink. I ended up having a total of 5 drinks and additional dishes, and the bill was surprisingly cheap at 2,880 yen. The young staff were efficient and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for the meal!

Since I have some time, I decided to enjoy some food in Tokyo as well. The restaurant I'm aiming for opens at 5 pm, so I'll have a light drink at this nearby place. I sat at the counter and ordered a draft beer. For snacks, I asked for "Shiro" and "Harami". Soon they arrived. The Shiro was grilled with a sweet and savory sauce, giving it a delicious aroma, while the Harami was grilled thoroughly with salt and pepper. I feel like I got more value than the price I paid. It's perfect for a light drink!

It's a small shop, but great for a quick drink. It's popular among salarymen. Today, we started at this place for a drink before moving on. We had two skewers of Stamina Yaki for 180 yen. It had a strong garlic miso flavor, but the meat quality was good. We also ordered potato salad and motsu stew, which were both delicious. We had negima with salt and liver with sauce. The liver with Stamina Miso was tasty, but we also tried a special off-menu item. Of course, we had matcha highballs to drink. Thank you for the meal. We'll have a quick drink and then leave.

The staff is few in number but the service is quite speedy, with drinks coming out continuously. Stewed dishes like oden also arrived quickly. We ordered grilled items like heart, tongue, and harami with salt, but they came out one by one due to different cooking times. As a result, it took a little time, but the taste was decent.
