This is a business hotel that I often use when staying in Akasaka. The night lounge used to be open before, but now it is temporarily closed. It will be reopening soon. My favorite thing about this hotel is the breakfast. The food is delicious, and even if you stay multiple nights, the menu changes a little each day. This is very convenient for business travelers. And the food is really tasty. In the Akasaka area, there are few hotels that offer buffet breakfast, so this hotel is a valuable find. Also, it's nice to be able to eat breakfast on the terrace in the morning. It feels open and refreshing. Starting the day by soaking in the large communal bath and sauna before breakfast is the best. The eggs at breakfast are said to be carefully selected and they were really rich and delicious. This hotel is still new and clean, and the prices are reasonable. It's a hidden gem that I don't want to tell too many people about. I hope the night lounge will reopen soon. Thank you for the meal.

I stayed at various hotels in Akasaka (near the station) as part of my "Hotel Tour Series," but I really like Hilary's Akasaka because it's clean, has a large public bath, and I use it as my regular accommodation. But wait, what's this? A lounge with a 1-hour all-you-can-drink option for 1,000 yen? I've had a similar experience before in Sapporo where it was 500 yen for 30 minutes, so I'm not too surprised. Let's see how this one compares. After checking in and working in my room, I realized it was already 7 pm. Perfect timing! I had already purchased a 1,000 yen ticket for the lounge on the 9th floor. The staff explained that for 1,000 yen, I could enjoy all-you-can-drink beer (Heartland, Shin Ichiban Shibori, self-serve sours, highballs), red and white wine, as well as light snacks like udon, curry, and mini desserts. This service was amazing! I grabbed some snacks and curry, found a seat on the terrace, and poured myself a refreshing beer. This is great! I don't even need to go out for dinner. And I get to enjoy this all-you-can-drink experience on the terrace all by myself. The weather was nice, and I was completely satisfied. In one hour, I had 3 beers, 2 glasses of white wine, 1 plum soda, 2 servings of curry, a small portion of udon, satsuma-age, a hot coffee to finish, and a sakura mochi. Before you realize how amazing this service is, I highly recommend taking advantage of it. I hope this service doesn't disappear.

Yesterday, I stayed at Hilary's Akasaka in Akasaka. I spent the evening working at my desk in my room until late, taking advantage of the fact that there was a large public bath where I could relax, and even a sauna. This allowed me to refresh myself and work efficiently. Remote work is the best (*ﾟ∀ﾟ*). The hotel is still new and stylish, and I chose to stay there based on good reviews for breakfast on a travel website. I made sure to wake up early and headed to the breakfast venue at 7 am. The buffet style breakfast had alcohol disinfectant, disposable gloves, and masks (for those who forgot) provided. The tables were also separated with partitions for effective infection control. The salad corner was vibrant, but what caught my attention more than the vegetables was the egg over rice corner. They had carefully selected eggs (*⁰▿⁰*), and I excitedly prepared my egg over rice with a generous amount of bonito flakes, just like a famous bonito rice restaurant. I chose the truffle soy sauce (limited time) out of several options. I enjoyed selecting various dishes at the buffet and brought them to my table. Buffets are always so enjoyable, right? (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) I finally tried the egg over rice, and the combination of bonito flakes and egg over rice was excellent! :(；ﾞﾟ'ωﾟ'): So delicious. The truffle soy sauce was also great! The side dishes were also delicious. I had seconds of the egg over rice, and even though I felt like my stomach was going to burst, I finished with a hot coffee and a piece of bread. The hotel rooms are non-smoking, but you can smoke on the rooftop terrace, so I enjoyed my post-meal coffee and bread there, under the clear morning sky. Waking up early was the right choice!
