The Spanish bar with a well-designed interior has a great atmosphere. However, for some reason, when I entered the store, I could faintly hear Showa era songs playing, and it turned out to be Ozaki Yutaka. I like it, so it's not a problem at all, but it was a nice surprise. The menu is all written on a blackboard, and it's quite reasonable for Gotanda. The bread seems to be a complimentary dish. I ordered a variety of dishes, and all of them had great value for money. I was surprised by the quantity and quality of the Wagyu harami tataki, and the garlic shrimp had surprisingly little oil but was delicious. The squid ink paella was a bit disappointing, so next time I might try the seafood paella. Overall, it seems like they use high-quality ingredients, and I will definitely be coming back. The staff were also friendly, making it a cozy and welcoming place. Highly recommended.

During the peak of summer, I had an early dinner at a restaurant recommended by a friend. It was located near Osaki Hirokoji Station, just off Sakurada Street. As soon as I walked in, I was drawn to the blackboard menu on the counter and wall, with so many tempting options. I had to resist the urge to order everything! I let my friend choose the first four dishes recommended by the chef, a privilege reserved for regulars. We started with a toast with "Shiraho no Ka" and enjoyed dishes like marinated octopus with tomatoes, mozuku vinegar, scallop ajillo, and beef harami tataki. The spare ribs in barbecue sauce were incredibly tender, and the French fries were a surprise addition. We paired the meal with a glass of Adaras Caliso red wine, which had hints of red fruits and balsamic. Of course, we couldn't leave without trying the squid ink paella and the fig tart for dessert, which came with my favorite orange peel. I highly recommend this restaurant for groups of three or more, as it's always busy and worth multiple visits. I may have indulged a bit too much, as my doctor later joked about my significantly increased cholesterol levels after the meal.

I liked the cute appearance of the restaurant. Although it was fully booked, they allowed us to stay for up to 2 hours. We started with a Spanish Albariño wine with grilled ayu fish, which was a perfect match. The garlic soup with soaked bread was surprisingly delicious. The seafood paella had a strong sea flavor with shrimp and clams, reminiscent of Spain. The staff's attention to detail was pleasant, and they even allowed us to use the neighboring table for a short time due to the limited space.

This place was mainly for takeout, but this time I decided to eat in the restaurant. The food tastes delicious. However, the place is small, so it might be a bit tight for a leisurely date. The dishes are tasty though. Yeah, I think it's better to go with about 4 people rather than just 2, so you can try a variety of dishes.

I visited this restaurant for the first time for a meal with acquaintances. In conclusion, it was a place I would like to visit again even in my private time. It's a bit of a walk from Gotanda Station, but the food and atmosphere were great. It's perfect for enjoying a lively meal without feeling too formal. This time, I had ayu (sweetfish), and it was memorable to have my first ayu of the year at a Spanish bar. Thank you for the meal!

The store has a cute atmosphere that I like. I've always wanted to come here. The staff are nice and the place is cozy. I didn't eat a lot this day, just chose some wine and snacks to go with it. It was delicious, but not really mind-blowing. I would like to try the main dishes next time. Thank you for the meal! ♩

A friend invited me to this restaurant. I highly recommend it for those who want to experience authentic Spanish cuisine. We ordered a variety of dishes, but my favorite of the day was the squid ink paella. It was rich and flavorful, a perfect combination of tastes. I felt like I could eat it forever. On the other hand, when we ordered a cheese platter, I requested a knife but they brought a fork instead. I understood that they were trying to be thoughtful, but it was difficult to cut the cheese to my liking with a fork. I eventually had to ask for a knife again. Next time, I'll make sure to request a knife more clearly.

From Gotanda Station towards TOC, there is a Spanish bar on the slope! It's extremely popular so reservations are a must. I was amazed by the high quality of each dish. There are many seasonal menu items, and the clams in garlic sauce were huge and incredibly delicious! The simmered salted pork was also so tender and delicious. To finish off, we had seafood paella. It had a taste that Japanese people would love, and we were also very satisfied with this dish! I am grateful for the quality that was so impressive that I will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I visited the Spanish bar Girona, located a short walk from Gotanda Station. Despite the rain, the interior of the restaurant was lively. We toasted with Spanish beer and ordered several appetizers. The dishes recommended by the staff were delicious, especially the duck confit on that day.

It was raining in Gotanda. The weekend at the beginning of April is crowded. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station. The restaurant was fully booked, showing its popularity. I enjoyed Spanish cuisine with champagne and wine. The raw oysters were milky and delicious. The pate and creamy gratin were also great. Although there are no photos, the porcini mushroom dish was amazing with its flavorful broth. I wanted to try the paella, but had to give up. Maybe next time.

Visited on a Saturday night. Called ahead and was able to get a table. The staff in charge of the dining area was very polite. Ordered the seafood-packed paella and shrimp ajillo. The ajillo had a lot of garlic but the shrimp were large and delicious. The paella was also authentic. Will definitely come back.

I had a hamburger for lunch. It comes with bread, salad (or soup), and the main dish for 1000 yen. The hamburger is a stewed type and very piping hot. I really like this hamburger lunch, but it tends to sell out quickly. They also have pasta lunch, but it's very filling and you need to be prepared to finish it. I will visit again.

Made a reservation for 3 people at 7:00 pm on Friday and sat at the counter seats. The restaurant was full, with a lively atmosphere due to a group of people. We couldn't hear each other's voices at the counter seats haha. All the dishes were great, including squid ink stew, pickled sardines, Galician-style octopus, and seafood paella. There were also various types of wine available. I will definitely go back again.

I had a wonderful lunch a little after noon. The pasta made with a special tomato sauce was delicious. The seafood soup and bread were also great. The dessert sorbet had a sophisticated flavor and was delicious as well. I even had coffee to finish off the fantastic lunch. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant on a holiday around 6 pm, and all the walk-in seats were already taken, so we were seated at a reserved table for 2. We started with marinated sardines, sparkling wine, and beer for a toast. The standout dish was the pate that looked like tomato but had a delicious seafood sauce. It was rich and paired well with wine, so we ordered a bottle. The squid ink stew was also tasty, although I prefer a stronger squid ink flavor. The seared pork shoulder was the highlight, priced at only 780 yen, it was a great value with excellent seasoning. I will definitely be coming back for more.

A restaurant where you can enjoy delicious Spanish cuisine in a local bar-like atmosphere. The dishes are hearty and visually appealing, more geared towards men, but all the dishes have a nice salty flavor that goes well with alcohol. I was excited to try the paella, which was a first for me, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were delicious, and I would definitely order it again if I have the chance to revisit. They also have classic dishes like garlic shrimp, making it a perfect place for a lively gathering with a large group. The staff were friendly and cheerful, making it a fun experience.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. It has become popular and even opened a branch in Toranomon Hills, but I still prefer the main store in Gotanda. The dishes I had this time were avocado and shrimp salad, wagyu harami tataki-style, and seafood paella. These three dishes are my favorite and two women can usually get full with them. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. Chef Jiro's cooking sense is outstanding. Oh, I wish I had also tried the Spanish-style omelette... We had sparkling wine and house wine, both reasonably priced and with great taste. This might be the only restaurant where I think the house wine is delicious. It's alcoholic with a good tannin. I had two bottles because it was so delicious. I want to go to Jiro's restaurant, Girona, again and again!

"Isshii's Lonely Gourmet" visits the Spanish bar Girona in the Osaki Hirokoji-Gotanda area this time. The restaurant has a small counter and table seats. It seems like they also offer takeout, maybe because of the current situation. For lunch, you can choose from 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes. ■Chef's choice salad■Crab cream doriaThe crispy breadcrumbs on top and the subtle crab flavor and creaminess inside are quite good. ...And that's all for lunch. I'm a light eater, but I would be happier if there was a bit more volume or if soup or a drink was included. The service is nice though. Hmm...

On what felt like my umpteenth visit, the owner seemed to remember my face (or at least it felt that way) and it made me happy. The friendly staff added to the pleasant atmosphere, and the drinks kept flowing. There were three of us. We ordered a cold dish, crispy fried potatoes, a flavorful garlic-infused aioli, sautéed pork shoulder, and a seafood paella, along with several bottles of Spanish wine. It was a blissful end to the meal. I was so happy that I only managed to take a photo of the paella we shared. I'll have to come back for a rematch to take more pictures. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I love Spanish cuisine, so I decided to visit this place today after a short walk from Gotanda Station. I was surprised to find that the interior of the restaurant was smaller than I had expected. It was almost full even though it was just before 6 p.m. on a Sunday, so it must be a popular spot. I ordered four dishes and was satisfied with my choices. - Mushroom Ajillo: The dish had large mushrooms with plenty of garlic, and it was delicious when eaten with French bread. - Iberico Pork Assortment: The appearance was a bit underwhelming, so I probably won't order this again. - Beef Cheek Stew in Tomato Sauce: It was incredibly tasty and tender. - Seafood Paella: It was a bit sticky, but the flavor was good. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything except the Iberico pork.
