The colleague who accompanied me on this survey was a coworker from my workplace. She seemed tired from work, but I managed to persuade her to come with me by saying, "Chicken hot pot collagen will make your skin plump and smooth." The restaurant we visited is located in a semi-basement behind Mark City. The main branch is in Osaka, which explains the slightly chaotic atmosphere of the place. We arrived around 8:30 pm and the seats were full. Some customers who couldn't find a seat were heading to other restaurants. The bustling atmosphere got us excited. We started with a toast and looked at the menu while munching on the cabbage appetizer. The menu was full of options, including skewers in addition to hot pot dishes. We found the highlight of the day - the secret to the dish lies in the soup! The key to the flavor was indeed the soup, which was incredibly delicious. The soup, prepared for 7 hours, was the star of the show. We finished it in no time. The secret to the flavor was definitely in the soup. You must try it for yourself to truly appreciate the taste! The quality and quantity of the course at this yakitori izakaya were amazing, and the cost performance was very high! It is located slightly off the main area of Shibuya's Dogenzaka, so the surroundings of the restaurant were not too crowded, which was nice. This time, we had the "Select Chicken Midori Course" with a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. One of the highlights of the restaurant was the "Chicken White Soup Tori-Nabe" hot pot, which was really delicious. Personally, I don't usually drink the soup when eating hot pot, but the chicken white soup here was so tasty that I ended up drinking it all. The skewers were also delicious, especially the "Skin Tare Yaki" which had just the right amount of fat and a flavorful sauce. We went on a weekday night, and by 8 pm the place was already full, so I recommend making a reservation before going. The staff were also very nice, and even though there were just two of us, they adjusted the portion sizes for us. The result was a surprisingly generous amount of food, and we were glad they reduced it...! They also served a smaller portion of ramen for the hot pot finale, which allowed us to enjoy it until the end. Therefore, I think that even for men, the regular amount of hot pot in the course menu would be quite filling. I noticed items like Doteyaki, Kushikatsu, and Karaage on the a la carte menu, so I would love to come back to try them out.

I visited "Kitashinchi Toriya" in Shibuya ✨ This is a lively long-established restaurant where you can enjoy "Osaka cuisine and delicious yakitori" including creative chicken dishes, established for 18 years. This time, I tried the Osaka food course ◾️ Course menu: - Dashi takoyaki - Quail egg Osaka stew - Izumi water eggplant sashimi - Tebasaki (chicken wings) karaage - Red ginger tempura - Two types of kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers) - Yarunen yaki (okonomiyaki) - Bokkake udon Everything was delicious!!! There were two dishes I had never heard of before. Yarunen yaki is an original dish combining takoyaki and okonomiyaki, with plenty of octopus. It's delicious for sure. Bokkake udon is a dish that combines simmered beef tendons and konjac with udon noodles in a broth. The melt-in-your-mouth beef tendons, udon, and especially the broth were incredibly delicious. The fried food was crispy, the vegetables were fresh, and everything was a hit ✨ In the end, true to the course's name, I ate too much and felt stuffed. I was completely satisfied with both the quality and quantity of the course. The service was attentive and the drinks were served promptly. Be sure to visit on an empty stomach and enjoy ===========

【#Kitashinchi Toriya】This Osaka-originated specialty izakaya has two locations in Tokyo, and the one in Ichigaya was featured on TV for their "Nikinme Dousuru Yarunen Yaki・Doteyaki". If you search for directions in Shibuya, you might get confused - it's not on the side of Seven Eleven, but on the opposite side! This time, I ordered the "O-naka Ippai Course". The Kansai-style dashi at the beginning was delicious - the dashi flavor infused in the takoyaki batter made it even tastier than regular takoyaki. The pickled ginger tempura was a delight for ginger lovers. Even if you don't usually eat pickled ginger, it's worth a try - especially with sauce on top! The tempura batter gives it a fragrant, crispy texture to enjoy. Normally, tempura is served with tempura dipping sauce, but apparently in Osaka, they put sauce on everything. The fried chicken wings were hot and crispy, with juicy meat that was irresistibly delicious - you could eat as many as you want. For the finish, the Bokkake Udon had tender meat and a creamy soup that paired perfectly with the udon noodles. Next time, I recommend trying the "Toriya Nabe" in winter - a pot with Toriya's original soup simmered for 5 hours. In winter, 90% of customers come for this dish. If you're looking for a stylish atmosphere for your second stop, I also recommend going to the adjacent wine bar @dongyu_wine, which offers 50 varieties of delicious wines!

I tried "dashi takoyaki" for the first time and it was delicious with a nice dashi flavor! The quail eggs at the Ichigaya branch were also tasty! The sliced raw "Izumi water eggplant" was refreshing and juicy! The fried chicken wings were amazing, as expected from Kitashinchi Toriya! The tempura with pickled ginger was light and easy to eat! The skewers, especially the lotus root, were really good! The "Yarune Yaki" was like a cross between okonomiyaki and takoyaki, with a savory dashi flavor and a nice texture! Finally, the "bokkake udon" was a satisfying finish with a generous amount of beef and a well-balanced sweet broth with the noodles. It was a value-for-money course that left me feeling like I had truly enjoyed Osaka! It was delicious!

Visited the izakaya "Kitashinchi Toriya Shibuya Dojinzaka Store" in the entertainment district of Dojinzaka 1-chome, walking from JR Shibuya Station towards the Keio Inokashira Line West Exit. We had a reservation for a reunion with old friends on a Friday night. The restaurant has a counter and multiple table seats, as well as private box seats. Despite its compact size, the atmosphere is not cramped. The interior is bright and clean, with smoking allowed. We chose the "Popular Course" with all-you-can-drink option for 5000 yen, featuring the restaurant's specialty dishes. The course included: - Octopus takoyaki appetizer - Quail egg simmered in Osaka style - Seared fatty mackerel and white liver tartare - Braised beef tendon - Grilled chicken skin with sauce - Deep-fried cheese-stuffed skewers - Toriya's ultimate fried chicken - Homemade chicken soba noodles The course had a good balance of dishes, with a focus on chicken-based items. The white liver was tender and flavorful, especially when mixed with the sweet sauce and egg yolk. The grilled chicken skin skewers were crispy and delicious. This is a yakitori restaurant in Kita-Shinchi, Osaka, which has been around for over 20 years and has three branches in Tokyo. This time, we had a course with all-you-can-drink option, with the main dish being a chicken hot pot with a milky white soup simmered for 7 hours with chicken bones and vegetables. Before the main hot pot is ready, we were served a platter with chicken liver, harami (skirt meat), and quail eggs simmered in Osaka-style broth, as well as skewers and fried dishes that pair well with alcohol. The first skewer item is the jukkawa, which is grilled in sauce for 3 days and aged, offering a chewy texture and rich flavor that goes well with beer. Then, we enjoyed spicy tebasaki (chicken wings), delicate seseri tempura with sansho pepper salt, and grilled chicken cartilage and tail, allowing us to fully appreciate different parts of the chicken. The chicken hot pot had a slightly thick and rich soup that paired well with the sweetness of the vegetables, and even the ramen at the end was delicious with the noodles soaking up the soup. The quick drink service was also appreciated.

I received the "Select Chicken Course" with a full volume and all-you-can-drink for a great price of 5000 yen including tax. The menu includes quail eggs simmered in Osaka style, harami chanja, chicken and mustard greens, aged chicken skin with sauce, 2 types of assorted grilled chicken, fried chicken wings, tempura chicken tenderloin, the famous Toriya hot pot, additional vegetable and meat toppings for the hot pot, and ramen as the finishing dish. The Toriya hot pot soup is made in the shop with care and time, filled with love and collagen.

It has been in Shibuya for about 20 years, which is quite impressive considering the fierce competition in the Shibuya izakaya district. The friendly service of the staff, wide variety of dishes despite being a chicken specialty store, and good cost performance with many repeat customers may be the reasons for its long-lasting success. This time, we had a satisfying course with a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option for ¥5000. They also offer a drink-all-you-can option for single orders, making it suitable for second rounds. The ramen as the finishing touch of the hot pot, made with the carefully prepared "strongest white broth soup," was incredibly delicious with the flavors of meat and vegetables blending in. The ramen as the finishing touch is the best. Despite being a long-established restaurant, the interior is clean and the prices are surprisingly low. Great cost performance.

Enjoy a 2.5-hour all-you-can-drink chicken course! A popular izakaya on Dogenzaka, the staff were cheerful and efficient despite being fully booked for year-end parties. The chilled draft beer was always delicious, served promptly in a frosty mug. The appetizers included Osaka simmered quail eggs, harami chanja, and chicken wasabi, all perfect beer snacks. The aged chicken skin skewers with special sauce were a unique and flavorful treat. The signature Toriya hot pot was surprisingly served at the beginning, allowing us to enjoy the steamy pot while savoring other dishes and drinks. The yuzu pepper and garlic were provided for flavor, followed by meatballs and vegetables, and finishing with ramen. The assorted grilled chicken skewers featured bonjiri and knee cartilage, both rich in umami with just the right amount of salt. The award-winning chicken wing tempura was a highlight, as was the chicken tenderloin tempura with its generous portion. The meal ended with delicious ramen, warming us up from the inside out. The atmosphere was lively, with couples at the counter, friends at the tables, and groups in the box seats. Overall, it was a great find and I recommend making reservations during the busy year-end period.

About a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station, there is a popular restaurant with delicious chicken hot pot dishes, originating from Osaka. When I visited on a weekday evening, the place was almost full! Today, I decided to go for the all-you-can-drink course! The course included dishes such as quail egg Osaka stew, harami chanja, chicken and mustard greens, aged chicken skin with sauce, assorted grilled chicken skewers (bonjiri, nankotsu), fried chicken wings, chicken breast tempura, the famous Toriya hot pot, and ramen to finish. The course was full of various chicken dishes! Starting with the rare cut of harami chanja and other delicious appetizers, followed by the carefully marinated skin sauce skewers that paired well with lemon sour...! The fried chicken wings were crispy and juicy, of high quality...! The famous chicken hot pot is cooked for over 7 hours, allowing the chicken's flavor to seep in, making it exquisite! The ramen at the end also paired perfectly with this broth...! The staff's atmosphere was great, and it was nice that drink orders were served promptly...! I ended up drinking too much in the cozy atmosphere...! I highly recommend it for the upcoming season.

I went to the sister store of a restaurant that originated in Osaka, which is delicious, affordable, and fun, located a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station. I made a reservation for a semi-private room at Toriya Shibuya-Dozenka, located in Kitashinchi. We ordered the value course: "2-hour all-you-can-drink course with chicken selection" for 5000 yen including tax. We started with a cheers with ice-cold beer! [Appetizers] Quail egg Osaka stew, Harami Chanja, Chicken and wasabi sake to start off with. [Skewers] Aged chicken skin with sauce, which is crispy and flavorful. You can also enjoy changing the taste with vinegar. [Skewers] Tsukune, negima, chicken thigh, and chicken breast with wasabi. Sharing with friends is great as the quality of the ingredients is good! The meat is firm and delicious! [Deep-fried dishes] Sweet and spicy fried chicken wings with sesame seeds as an accent. [Deep-fried dishes] Tempura of chicken tenderloin, a popular dish that is not greasy and goes well with alcohol. [Hot pot] The famous Toriya hot pot starts with a light soup but becomes rich and creamy over time. It contains fried tofu, garlic chives, Chinese cabbage, and chicken. It warms up the body. [Additional] Added a recommended meat topping for the hot pot. The soup is rich in chicken broth, so the flavor permeates the meatballs and tastes delicious. The chicken bones and vegetables are simmered for over 7 hours to condense all the flavors of the chicken into a creamy soup that can be enjoyed down to the last drop. We ordered the course menu, which highlighted the hot pot dish, priced at 5000 yen for a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. The meal included various appetizers, grilled skewers, fried dishes, and the famous hot pot dish. The service was quick, especially with drinks, which arrived promptly. The hot pot contained enoki mushrooms, leeks, chicken thighs, cabbage, and thin slices of fried tofu, all served by the staff. The rich and flavorful chicken white broth was a delight, with a light and easy-to-eat taste. The hot pot can also be ordered individually, starting from 1,280 yen. I often visit the chicken shop. I have been a customer for a long time, but it had been a while since I last visited due to the pandemic. I noticed that the interior of the shop has changed... I used the all-you-can-drink option and had plenty of highballs. The hot pot at this restaurant is excellent! The chicken white broth soup is thick and I had multiple refills. I also tried the assorted skewers and chicken wings, and I was very satisfied. This has become a restaurant I want to visit regularly!
