ひたろーちゃん
Located a 5-minute walk from Shibuya Station, the restaurant is situated behind Shibuya Mark City. The main store is actually in Kita-Shinchi, Osaka, as indicated by the name, with three locations in Tokyo: Ichigaya, Ikebukuro, and Shibuya. The specialty dish, "Chicken White Broth Hot Pot," is a pride of the restaurant. The chicken bones and vegetables are simmered for over 7 hours to condense all the flavors of the chicken into a creamy soup that can be enjoyed down to the last drop. We ordered the course menu, which highlighted the hot pot dish, priced at 5000 yen for a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option. The meal included various appetizers, grilled skewers, fried dishes, and the famous hot pot dish. The service was quick, especially with drinks, which arrived promptly. The hot pot contained enoki mushrooms, leeks, chicken thighs, cabbage, and thin slices of fried tofu, all served by the staff. The rich and flavorful chicken white broth was a delight, with a light and easy-to-eat taste. The hot pot can also be ordered individually, starting from 1,280 yen. The grilled skewers, especially the chicken tail and knee bones, were delicious. The fried chicken wings were crispy and flavorful, while the grilled chicken skin was marinated and grilled to perfection. The tempura chicken tenderloin was surprisingly tasty, and the additional vegetables and meat toppings for the hot pot enhanced the experience. The collagen-rich soup was continuously refilled, making it a collagen drink buffet. The meal ended with a generous portion of ramen, enough for 1.5 servings. Overall, the dining experience was satisfying, with excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant's popularity among regular customers is well-deserved, as it leaves a lasting impression that makes you want to come back again.
