Hello. I am the self-proclaimed Curry King of Ben-To boys. Let me tell you about my daily life. I prepare Ben-To the night before and store it in the refrigerator to bring to work in the morning. Since my workplace is far away, I wake up at 5 am, so for breakfast, I quickly eat TKG, NG, or RC with white rice cooked for Ben-To. On days when I don't make Ben-To, I don't cook rice, so I usually eat out for breakfast. In such cases, I rely on a place that opens at 6 am on my commute, which is Shinzaki's "Yudetaro." It's fast, cheap, and they serve curry! It has the three essential elements for a TGS - early opening, affordability, and curry. They offer a morning curry set, which is perfect for breakfast. The mild curry has a homemade feel and is very gentle. Very gentle, meaning SM. It's the perfect SM for the morning. That's all I wanted to say.笑

I used it for lunch on July 21, 2022. Yudetarou near my local area. I don't know when the store opened... but it was there before I knew it, haha. Last time, I ordered the daily special set... which was a tempura set, so this time I only ordered a rice bowl dish. Jumbo Katsu Don (640 yen). The katsu is quite tender and the flavor has soaked in well. The rice is a bit on the firm side... but it's okay. Unlike the katsu at a katsu restaurant, it has a somewhat cheap feel (which is unavoidable), but I quite like this katsu. You can eat 2 or 3 pieces. Next time, I might try a different menu. I hope this is helpful.

I visited around 1 pm for lunch. It wasn't crowded, so there were plenty of parking spots and seats available. I ordered a kakiage-don set. The kakiage was freshly fried and crispy. It was a good deal for 580 yen.

Since around summer 2021, I had noticed the existence of Yudetarou, but surprisingly never found the right timing to visit, so I waited for it to be less crowded. Finally, I decided to come now that it's less busy. The location is quite close after getting off at Shinzaki on the Keiyo Expressway from Chiba. There are a few parking spaces available. The restaurant itself is typical of Yudetarou, but slightly smaller. Inside, there are ticket machines on the right and left. Although there are various value menus, it may not be as impressive as other larger Yudetarou stores. Since I didn't have a particular dish in mind, I went for the safe option of the Mori Soba (360 yen tax included). After submitting the ticket at the cooking area and waiting at my seat, my number was called in less than 10 minutes. The soba is standard for this type of restaurant, with thin noodles that have a good chewy texture. The soba has a scent that combines the fragrance of soba and a hint of udon flour. The dipping sauce leans towards soy sauce with a hint of sweetness and a decent level of richness. It only takes about 5 minutes to finish the meal, making it a quick and satisfying option for 360 yen.

I visited "Yudetaro Shinozaki Store," located within a 5-minute walk from Shinzaki Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line and along the Keiyo Highway. The store has a few parking spaces in front, so it's convenient for those driving. This store opened this year, and it had been a few years since my last visit to Yudetaro. I arrived at 13:30 and found about a dozen customers inside. The turnover was fast, and the timing seemed normal. Upon entering, I saw ticket machines on both sides with the menu. I ordered the Niku Soba for 510 yen. I handed the staff my ticket, and my order was ready in about 5 minutes. The portion of soba, broth, and meat was decent for the price. The service was quick, making it a convenient place to visit during busy times. I would definitely visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

The parking lot is located on the left side immediately after getting off at the Shinzaki IC on the Keiyo Expressway, with space for 5 regular cars and 1 small car. It's great to have a parking lot in this location. There was a recently opened store nearby that I haven't registered yet. When I searched, I found some reviews, so I was a bit late. The exterior of the store is new and clean, with ticket machines on both sides as you enter. I ordered the tempura soba for 460 yen and received it in about 5 minutes. They also offered wasabi, which confused me for a moment since I ordered soba. I sat by the window, took some photos, lifted the noodles, and then enjoyed the meal. The noodles had a slightly crispy texture, and the tempura was delicious with a hint of sweetness. I noticed they also had tempura soba on the menu, which might have had a crispier tempura. I would like to try their ramen next time at Yudetaro. Thank you for the meal.

Yudetaro☆Shinozaki Store. Mori... 360 yen Free coupon: Kakiage This restaurant is located 300 meters from Shinozaki Station. It is also located along the Keiyo Highway. I was riding my bike in the rain along the Keiyo Highway, and suddenly I saw a Yudetaro that I had never seen on the regular road. There was even a wreath at the entrance, so it's definitely a new store. Please visit. It's new, and when I looked it up, it opened on the 6th (cries). And there was only one review, too. Now, back to the review. They seemed a bit inexperienced and the service was a bit slow. The Mori was average. The Kakiage looked good, but it seemed like it was fried in advance (cries). It was a shame because it looked nice (laughs). I ended up visiting three Yudetaro stores today. Mihama Shinko Store Shinko Store Shinozaki Store I wonder if I like Yudetaro that much (laughs). But next, I might visit the secret Nishikawa 1-chome store.

I was looking forward to the opening day of "Yudetaro." I expected it to be crowded, so I decided to stop by around 1 pm and found that it was quite empty. Since I'm not familiar with Yudetaro's ticket machine, I was able to take my time choosing. I was torn between hot and cold, but since it was Tuesday, I went with the pork cutlet bowl set with warm soba. The noodles were freshly made, so they had a different texture. The broth was a bit salty. Even though both portions were about half the size, I was quite full. I don't usually go to a new restaurant on its opening day, but I enjoyed the new building, interior, and the atmosphere of the staff. I plan to try the super cheap morning soba soon.

I went to a new store opened by Shinetsu Foods, Yuudetarou, after hearing about it locally. I usually eat at the Irifune store near my workplace more than twice a week, where they serve the best standing soba with good broth. I had high expectations, but to my disappointment, the soba had a chewy texture with a core that I've never experienced before in my life. It felt sticky and clung to my teeth. The broth was similar to the rich and spicy broth at the Irifune store, which was delicious, but it was a shame about the soba.
