I visited during lunch on a holiday. I waited in line with 6 people ahead of me around 13:40, and was seated after about 50 minutes. I decided to go for the Despair Spaghetti in large size (1,420 yen) with a salad set (+110 yen) that day. I chose the large size since it was free of charge. The salad arrived promptly, but it took about 10 minutes for the pasta to be served. The noodles were cooked just right, and the soup that coated the noodles had a delicious flavor of garlic and some other umami taste. Despite the generous portion of 140g, I enjoyed every bite until the end. I heard that the main store is located in Shibuya, and I would like to visit there as well, but I have a feeling I will still end up ordering the "Despair..." dish.

Despair Spaghetti. I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. The atmosphere inside was nice, and I was surprised to see such a powerful pasta dish. It was a taste I had never experienced before. I'm not usually a fan of pasta, but this dish made me want to come back for more. The flavor exceeded my expectations, matching the impressive appearance. I thought the portion might be too much for a woman, but before I knew it, I had finished it all.

All the pasta dishes were overflowing from the plates, and I had the cheese pasta which had a stringy cheese. The cheese wasn't very stringy, but it had a soup-like consistency. The soup was hot, so the pasta stayed warm for a long time, which was nice because pasta usually cools down quickly. The staff were all very friendly. Both the pasta and the soup were delicious.

This weekend, I visited Tokyo after a long time. It's been how many years, I wonder. I flew from Okayama Airport to Haneda Airport. First, I had lunch in Shinagawa. I was craving pasta, so I went to a trattoria. It's a popular place, so even though it was before 12 o'clock, there was a wait for four groups. More people started coming in after that. I waited for about 20 minutes and ordered Spaghetti Carbonara and Soup Carbonara. Both were large portions. Since I had the day off today, I had a glass of white wine in the afternoon. I started with the Soup Carbonara. The pasta was a bit firm, but by the time I finished eating, it was cooked just right. The soup had a gentle flavor, but it could use a bit more punch from the pepper. Next, I tried the Spaghetti Carbonara. From the first bite, the punch of garlic and chili pepper hit me. The umami flavor of the mushrooms was also strong, and it was delicious. When you sprinkle the powdered cheese that comes with the bread, it becomes even richer and tastier. The Spaghetti Carbonara was excellent.

Around 12:15 on a regular day, I had to wait for about 5 groups ahead of me, but I was able to get a table in about 20 minutes. I was torn between ordering the Despair Spaghetti and the Egg and Bacon Soup Carbonara set. I ended up ordering the latter. The picture doesn't show the salad and sherbet that came with the meal. As I ate the Carbonara, I couldn't help but think that it shouldn't be a soup, but I still enjoyed it. The soup was delicious too. The chunks of bacon added a nice touch and made it really tasty. Thank you for the meal. Next time, I think I'll try the Clam Salt Spaghetti.

I visited the restaurant alone on a regular night. There were quite a few reserved seats, but I was able to get in right away as they operate on a 90-minute time limit. It was required to order at least one drink and one food item. I ordered the recommended Despair Spaghetti in a large portion, a Strawberry Margherita, and a Hot Café Latte. The pasta was a bit spicy and had a soup-like consistency. It had a variety of mushrooms and was cooked al dente, which I liked. Even though I was quite full after finishing the pasta, the Strawberry Margherita dessert arrived. It had a thin crust and the combination of strawberry and cheese was excellent. I struggled to finish all three slices, but managed to do so. I took a break with the Hot Café Latte before leaving. The seat I was guided to was in a somewhat hidden spot, but the staff made sure to stay visible so ordering was easy. I might visit again during lunchtime.

On a regular weekday at 11:30am, I made a reservation online for lunch in Shinagawa as I wasn't sure how crowded it would be. There were still plenty of seats available at 11:30am, but by 12:00pm, there were lines forming at all the restaurants on the 4th floor of Atre. I ordered the "Despair Spaghetti" (including tax, 1,420 yen) which came with a drink. It was said to be the most popular menu item. It was my first time having soup pasta in a while! The dish came in a large plate with plenty of soup and pasta. It had a meat sauce base with olives and mushrooms. When I scooped it with a spoon, I found surprisingly plenty of meat sauce and mushroom pieces. It had a level 1 spiciness, but it was slightly spicy! And piping hot! It also came with a mini baguette and Parmesan cheese on the side. When I added the cheese, it became rich and gooey. It was quite filling, but it felt like a typical Tokyo price.

The most popular dish is the pasta named Despair, but I had it last time. This time, I tried the second most popular dish, Garlic and Tomato Chili Pasta. This is a soup pasta, so wearing a paper apron is a must. It has a strong acidity and spiciness, but for a lunch set priced at 1600 yen, it's a good deal. It comes with salad, bread, coffee, and dessert, making it a worthwhile price for this location. You can also choose from small, medium, or large sizes, which is great.

I finally got to try the Despair Spaghetti that I was curious about! The name "Despair Spaghetti" comes from the darkness of the olives, which is clever. The taste itself is definitely unique with a strong garlic flavor that is addictive! If I have the chance, I would like to try other soup pastas as well!

Located on the 4th floor of Atre in Shinagawa Station, it is easy to access. I was planning to go to Aqua Park Shinagawa and wanted to try the Desperate Pasta that was featured on TV for lunch, so I visited this restaurant. We lined up before opening and it was already full when they opened, but we had a reservation so we were able to get in smoothly. I felt that the customer service was lacking a bit. The soup pasta was delicious. The Margherita pizza was also delicious.

Holmes Pasta is now available at Shinagawa Atre. I no longer have to go all the way to Shinjuku San-chome. On the 4th floor of Shinagawa Atre, it is not a formal restaurant setting, but more of a casual space, similar to a food court. The lunch set includes a salad, drink, bread, and sherbet for an additional cost of around 300 yen. It feels like a good deal, so I went for the Despair Spaghetti set as advertised. However, when it arrived, the salad, bread, and sherbet were too small. It was quite disappointing. I wish they offered a set with just the salad in a satisfying size, or maybe just adding a drink would have been better. The pasta portions were also on the smaller side. You can choose from 3 options, and if you want a larger portion, it costs an additional 110 yen. I opted for the larger portion, but it was still small, only 140 grams. I wish it was around 200 grams. The service was not great, mainly consisting of student part-time workers who did what was required but didn't pay much attention to the customers. This lack of attentiveness affected the overall atmosphere of the restaurant, making it not as pleasant as the one in Shinjuku. However, due to its convenience, I will probably visit again. This time, I also ordered extra cheese for 110 yen. It was about 2 tablespoons of grated cheese, and it definitely made the pasta taste better.

I had some time to spare for a transfer, so I searched for a restaurant near Shinagawa Station. Initially, I was thinking about having ramen, but when I saw the pasta here, I immediately felt like having pasta. The pasta was cooked al dente, with a perfect texture, and the sauce was like a soup. It was a pasta like I had never seen before, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Even after finishing my meal, I couldn't stop enjoying the sauce - or was it soup? It was a unexpectedly delicious dining experience.

I made a reservation before going to this popular restaurant. The soup pasta had a rich and flavorful taste without being too strong, which made it quite addictive. It's no wonder they have so many reservations. I definitely want to come back for this delicious pasta.

Visited with a college friend on a holiday afternoon wanting to eat pizza. This place was ranked number one near Shinagawa Station, so we had high expectations. We were able to get in without waiting. We ordered the Margherita pizza. It was delicious. It was light and easy to eat, I could have eaten as many slices as I wanted. It paired perfectly with beer. I definitely want to visit this place again.

Tuesday night at 7:45 pm, there were three people, and we were seated in about 10 minutes at the Shinjuku store, which was cleaner compared to the one in Shinjuku. Families with children seemed to find it easy to visit. The clientele was different from Shinjuku; for example, someone had ordered risotto in Shinjuku, but it was not on the menu here, so the menu might be slightly different. The Despair Pasta was a large serving of 180g, and you could even get a free larger portion, unlike Shinjuku. The Margherita pizza was decent, and the Mortadella was good for pairing with alcohol. Each person had to order one drink per order. The spaghetti was not as hot as in Shinjuku, more like a generally hot temperature. I think a wide range of people can enjoy it, but personally, I preferred the piping hot spaghetti in Shinjuku. The bill was settled at the table. There were few staff members, and they seemed to struggle with managing the restaurant and serving customers efficiently. It was difficult to get seated even when there were available tables, and it took about 10 minutes for the first drink to be served after ordering. It was a table service, but no staff member came over, so we couldn't call for assistance. I thought they should have had at least one more server. Maybe it was just because it was busy due to the holiday season. The young male staff members were polite, which was good. In terms of taste, I prefer Shinjuku, but in terms of atmosphere and cleanliness, I think this place is better.

This is a revisit to IVO Homes Pasta Trattoria Shinagawa, where I had previously visited alone. This time, my family requested to try the "Despair Spaghetti." The menu and prices had changed since my last visit. Previously, ordering spaghetti came with a choice of iced coffee, hot coffee, or iced tea included, with an additional charge for other drinks. However, now, ordering spaghetti did not include a drink, which was an extra charge.
We ordered:
- Despair Spaghetti (Regular Size) - 1420 yen
- Additional Salad - 110 yen
- Extra Parmesan Cheese - 110 yen
Something strange happened this time. Initially, we received the salad and extra Parmesan cheese. After finishing the salad, the Despair Spaghetti arrived along with another small portion of Parmesan cheese. When I asked the staff, they explained that the Parmesan cheese that came with the spaghetti was included from the beginning. In my previous visit, I only received one portion of Parmesan cheese, so I was a bit confused.
It seems like the amount of Parmesan cheese that comes with the spaghetti is sufficient, so ordering extra may not be necessary unless you really love cheese. Also, the restaurant recommends table payment, but if you want to use JRE points or PayPay, you need to inform the staff as they will only mention it upon request. In that case, you can pay at the counter instead of at the table.

This time, I went to dinner for the first time! I was looking for an Italian restaurant in Shinagawa and decided to go here because it was popular. The soup spaghetti was delicious and even the kids enjoyed it. The fact that you can get a free extra serving was great! The prices are reasonable if you get the extra serving. I thought it was a bit inconvenient that they have a one drink order policy, but it's understandable since it's close to Shinagawa Station. I didn't order the spicy spaghetti because I had kids with me, but I would like to try other menu items next time.

I entered the restaurant on a weekday at 3:40 PM, and when I left at 4:15 PM, the restaurant was 90% full. I tried the spaghetti with seafood and tomatoes for 1520 yen. The taste was okay, nothing extraordinary. It might appeal to young people who are into aesthetics. I think there was too much oil in the soup spaghetti. Thank you for the meal, I may visit again someday.

I went a little before the store opened and there was already a line. Many seats were already reserved, so there might be a wait. It seems like it's better to make a reservation if you want to be sure to get in. The ordering process was also busy, and I had to wait a bit. Depending on the seat you're assigned, you might be in a blind spot and it can be a bit awkward to flag down a server. It was lunchtime but it felt like there were few staff members. The pasta was plentiful and delicious, so I left satisfied.

On a regular night, I made a reservation with my parents for Monday at 8pm. The restaurant was probably full as the seats were occupied. It was my first time trying soup pasta, and it was delicious with a decent portion. The pizza was freshly baked and had a chewy texture, so it was simply delicious. The Caprese and the assorted platter seemed a bit pricey considering the location, but overall, it was a good experience. I think it's worth considering for lunch as well.
