2023.03.26 (Sun) Rain, First visit, Entered at 12:56, 3 customers before, 5 customers after, Served Vegetable Tanmen at 12:59 for 890 yen. Visited a continental Chinese restaurant that caught my eye when commuting on Sundays. (The purpose was Vegetable Tanmen!!) I entered and sat at a 4-seater table near the entrance. Ordered the "Vegetable Tanmen (single item)" I was aiming for using the touch panel menu. The water was self-service. There were glasses and a pot on the table. Soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, GABAN white pepper powder, and S&B shichimi togarashi were all available on the table. It took about 3 minutes to be served. The noodles were slightly dark yellow curly thick noodles. The texture was good with a slight chewiness and firmness. Ingredients: Pork, cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, onions, leeks, and wood ear mushrooms. The ingredients such as pork and vegetables were lightly stir-fried before being combined with the soup. The pork was diced belly meat with a firm texture and lacked the juiciness of fatty meat, tasting somewhat bland. The cabbage had a strong crunchiness. The other vegetables were cooked just right and easy to eat. The amount of vegetables was slightly over 250g. The wood ear mushrooms had a pleasant chewy texture. The soup had a cloudy salty flavor with a base of chicken broth and aromatic vegetables. It had a unique flavor, possibly from continental seasonings, with just the right amount of saltiness and a moderate oiliness. The light pepper flavor from the white pepper powder was noticeable, and there was a hint of bitterness, possibly from the vegetables or seasonings. Finished all the noodles and ingredients. Since the soup had a slight unpleasant taste, I left most of it. The salad consisted of shredded cabbage, purple cabbage, and carrots with sesame dressing, which tasted good like store-bought dressing. It seemed a bit watery, possibly from sitting for a while. The pickled zha cai was thinly sliced, spicy, and had a good texture, but it was overly salty. The almond jelly had a smooth texture and rich flavor, although the portion was small. Overall, the noodles and ingredients were satisfactory. The soup had a slight bitterness, which was a bit disappointing. With the salad, pickles, and almond jelly included, the cost performance was decent. The service was ordinary. The interior was clean and had a sense of cleanliness, likely because it had only been open for less than half a year. Thank you for the meal.
