The restaurant is usually crowded and it's hard to get a reservation, but I managed to book a table on a less busy day. The owner mentioned that it's currently very busy due to travel. The balance between the sushi and toppings is really good, and the sushi is truly delicious. I always visit this place when I go back home, and the sushi was delicious this time as well.

I felt like eating sushi for lunch, so I went to a sushi restaurant. I was torn between another restaurant, but I decided on this one based on intuition. It was from Hokkaido. The thickness of the fish slices was impressive. The taste was not bad. I think the cost performance is quite good, but I wasn't impressed.

Located about a 10-minute walk southwest from Chitose Station, in the bustling area of Sachi-cho with many dining options. If you tell a taxi driver the name of the restaurant, they will know where to go. There are about 10 seats at the counter, as well as table seating. We made a reservation for the same day, and it seems like it's better to reserve even on weekdays. The chef and a few efficient staff members work there. The menu includes courses, sushi (regular, premium, chef's choice), sashimi, simmered dishes, and other seafood options. At the table, all drinks are ordered by writing on paper. We visited with four people and ordered two chef's choice sushi sets, along with 5-6 other dishes, and classic, Chitose Crane, and Kamikawa Sake. It was a fun experience at a restaurant where you can fully enjoy Hokkaido.

Today, I went on a solo trip to a izakaya in Chitose. It's my first time staying in Chitose. The gathering time for the Shadai Sunday Tour the next day is 7:30, so staying in Sapporo would be a bit tough. I left my luggage at the hotel and went for a walk in Chitose. Let's take a little break at the counter seat of "Kintaro Sushi". I'll have a draft beer, my favorite Sapporo Classic. The tatami room inside the restaurant is bustling with groups. I caught a glimpse of the Shadai Sunday catalog. There is only one couple at the counter seat. While enjoying the appetizer, I take a moment to relax. I saw asparagus on the whiteboard, so let's have that. I was imagining grilled asparagus, but it was a salad. Thankful for getting some vegetables. Since my draft beer is finished, I'll have some sake. I'll have Shoyo Kinryu, a different brand from Ichinokura in Miyagi. It's an elegant and delicious sake. I'll also have some sea urchin, which is sweet and delicious. The sake goes down smoothly. Finally, I'll have some sushi. It was fresh and delicious sushi. "Kintaro Sushi" is a place I would like to visit again when I'm nearby. I hope to have the opportunity to stay in Chitose again. Thank you for the meal. From Chitose Station, it's about 900m away. There were around 5 seats at the counter, and I visited at 12 pm. I ordered the omakase set, which was delicious. The vinegar in the rice was mild, and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. It had a Hokkaido touch to it. I was happy to see flounder and herring on the menu.

I ordered the lunch special for 1700 yen and it was amazing! The sushi was delicious and the miso soup had a flavorful broth that was so tasty. I'm glad I came here. Hokkaido really knows how to do sushi right! I was the only one here at first around 12pm on a weekday, but more and more customers started coming in. I would definitely recommend this place to others. I can't wait to come back again!

During my first visit, I struggled to read the menu due to my nearsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia. However, the chef helped me enjoy my meal comfortably. I started with sashimi, then had grilled dishes, simmered dishes, and finished with sushi. Before I knew it, I had finished everything. I definitely want to come back next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

All the dishes were delicious, especially the sashimi which was fresh and very tasty. I was surprised by the chawanmushi with umeboshi, but the sweetness of the plum really shined through and it was really delicious. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable.

The final flight was canceled, so I went to a sushi restaurant in Chitose Station that had good reviews online. The taxi driver on the way was interesting, and the restaurant owner was highly praised. The appetizers were gelatinous Kasube, Shimesaba, and mixed with okara. The assorted sashimi was beautifully arranged with creamy shirako in ponzu sauce and slightly salty ikura gunkan. The soup was delicious. The friendly owner, staff, and customers helped me decide on a hotel and even drew a map for me. I felt the warmth of Hokkaido on a cold night in Chitose, where the temperature was below freezing.

On the first night of the cold wave this year, I arrived in Chitose City from New Chitose Airport at 9:30 PM. The snow made it difficult to walk, so I thought about just getting dinner at a convenience store, but I decided to go outside. There weren't many people around. In that situation, I saw a curtain hanging outside and lights inside. When I entered, there were many locals. That made me feel relieved. I started with a highball and sashimi platter (¥2,000). It included medium fatty tuna, masukawa flounder, spear squid, herring, whelk, and marinated mackerel. The masukawa flounder was crunchy and fatty! The marinated mackerel was also excellent. I had a glass of draft beer, then ordered the chef's choice sushi (¥3,300) and white fish tempura (which is called "tachi-ten" in Hokkaido) with hot sake. In total, it came to ¥8,450. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

The sukiyaki of white beef was very tender and light in flavor. However, if you are looking for a more meaty taste, you might be a bit disappointed. The sushi was good, but some pieces had rice that stuck to the bowl and fell apart when picked up with chopsticks, likely because they had been sitting for a while after being prepared. Overall, the sushi was delicious despite this.

I visited "Kintaro Sushi" for lunch. I had been trying to visit this popular sushi restaurant for a while, but they often only accepted reservations or were temporarily closed when I tried to go. Finally, I was able to visit and I ordered the regular sushi set for 1000 yen. The set included 10 pieces of sushi with various toppings, along with salad, miso soup, tea, and a yuzu sherbet for dessert. The sushi was fresh and delicious, with each topping prepared perfectly. The miso soup had a rich flavor from the shrimp broth, and the yuzu sherbet was a refreshing way to end the meal. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I recommend this sushi restaurant to others.

The first stop on my Hokkaido trip was here. Despite arriving late at night, I was lucky to find a nice place near the hotel that was open. The restaurant's appearance, interior, and menu were exactly to my liking. I ordered a Sapporo Classic beer and a variety of sashimi dishes. The mackerel sashimi was excellent, even though Fukuoka's may be better, this was quite delicious too. The fresh oysters and cherry salmon sashimi were outstanding. As expected from Hokkaido, the quality of the seafood was high. The fried squid legs were surprisingly good. I ended with a few pieces of sushi, which were decent except for the sea urchin. It's best to enjoy the appetizers here. The prices were not as cheap as I had hoped.

I visited for the lunch course. I heard it was delicious from my senior at work, so I headed there as soon as they opened. I was the first one in the restaurant, and soon more customers arrived. There were several lunch courses, with the most affordable ones around 1500 yen. I chose the second most expensive one at 2000 yen. Each dish was so luxurious and delicious that I couldn't believe it was only 2000 yen. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quiet and I was able to enjoy my meal slowly and deliciously. I will definitely go back if I have the chance!

I visited the restaurant around 6 pm without a reservation and was seated at the counter since I was alone. It was not crowded, but the previous customer mentioned to the chef that it's rare to see someone without a reservation. I ordered the chef's choice sushi set, which included 12 pieces of fresh sushi and miso soup with shrimp head for 1800 yen. The sushi was delicious, and I enjoyed every piece. The pickled ginger and miso soup were also very tasty. The restaurant mainly had male customers, and I was the only woman, which felt a bit awkward. However, the chef was very kind and made me feel comfortable. They also offer takeout sushi, so I will definitely visit again.

On a certain weekday, I visited a sushi restaurant in Chitose City, located in the area that could be considered as a longstanding establishment. I parked at a slightly distant parking lot next to the entrance as indicated. The restaurant, being a relatively large establishment for an individual store, had a spacious interior with counter seats, table seats, and even seating on the second floor. The background music was the lunchtime news playing on the TV. From the menu, considering my budget, I opted for the "upper (1350 yen)" lunch option. The first dish was a salad with a tangy Japanese dressing. As the main dishes arrived, I took a bite of each. The bonito tataki had a nicely seared surface, the squid was relatively thick, the salmon was well-cut with plenty of fatty parts, the cured mackerel had a firm texture and a nostalgic deliciousness, the tuna lean meat had a surprising amount of richness in addition to the flavor of lean meat, the shrimp had a refreshing sweetness, the greater amberjack had a perfect balance of fat, the salmon roe had plump grains with a mild saltiness, the flying fish roe was on the salty side, and the surf clam was as expected. The sushi rice was on the smaller side compared to the average in Hokkaido, tightly packed, and the miso soup was made from shrimp heads and fish bones. Lastly, I was pleasantly surprised by the yuzu fruit pulp in the seemingly ordinary vanilla ice cream. Overall, I enjoyed the tension in the atmosphere of the restaurant, which usually results in good quality dishes. Thank you for the meal.

This is my third visit and the cost performance is good. There are few restaurants open around here on weekends, so it's always a lunch option for me. I ordered the lunch sushi with nigiri, miso soup with shrimp heads, salad, and yuzu sherbet. The octopus was sweet and had a good texture, leaving a lasting impression. The shrimp miso soup had a rich broth and was very delicious. The quality of the meal was very reasonable for the price.

I ordered the 1350 yen sushi set, which was different from what was written on the menu, but it had a good variety and I was satisfied. I was a little disappointed that there was no amberjack, but the price was adjusted accordingly. There are regular, premium, and deluxe options, and the deluxe from my previous visit was definitely a step above. The rice was loosely packed and had a nice melt-in-your-mouth texture. The miso soup was surprisingly delicious, with shrimp heads adding a rich flavor. Overall, it was a good value sushi lunch. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant with a senior colleague. We made a reservation for a group of people, which turned out to be a good decision as the restaurant was almost full when we arrived. It seems to be a popular place. We ordered fried squid legs, assorted tempura, and premium sushi. The fried squid legs were delicious, very soft and fluffy. The tempura had a good balance of batter and was fried perfectly. The sushi, with its perfect balance of rice and toppings, was also very tasty. The way the sushi melted in my mouth was irresistible. I wanted to try more dishes, but due to various reasons, I had to hold back. If I visit again, I would like to try other menu items.

First visit. A traditional shop. The simmered fish was incredibly delicious and very satisfying. The sashimi was fresh and fatty. The sushi was also reasonably priced and very satisfying. It's an easy-to-use shop for entertaining, and the prices are just right, so I would like to visit again if I have the chance.
