Collaborating with the master chef who trained at the famous yakitori restaurant "Torishiki" in Meguro and has produced successful restaurants like RODEO, G-Factory recently opened a new yakitori restaurant called "Torikami" in Roppongi Hills in January 2023. The restaurant maintains a stylish and sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for dates or business dinners, with an open kitchen layout reminiscent of the previous establishment. I ordered the chef's choice course (11,000 yen) which includes a clay pot rice dish. Tonight's specialty was Mizugo Akadori chicken, a breed known for its rich flavor and unique texture due to its stress-free, free-range upbringing in Chiba's Saura region. The chef's skillful grilling over high heat charcoal produced perfectly cooked, juicy chicken with a crispy exterior. Each skewer, including liver, tail, heart, and more, was cooked to perfection. The meal was accompanied by a delicious chicken soup made from bone broth and bonito flakes. The finale was a fragrant clay pot rice served with various toppings and a rich tamago kake gohan (egg over rice). The meal was satisfying and truly a delightful experience. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I visited "Torikami" located on the 5th floor of Roppongi Hills West Walk. It is a sister restaurant of the renowned yakitori restaurant "Torishiki," which changed its name to "Torikami." The owner, Yuta Shiraishi, who is also from Torishiki, has started afresh with "Torikami." The interior of the restaurant features a dark atmosphere with a counter seating for 18 people. They offer a stable and delicious yakitori course cooked with the traditional "strong fire" method of Torishiki. At Torikami, they offer an omakase course of 10 skewers, with the 10th skewer served with freshly cooked rice from Mie Prefecture and four rice accompaniments. The yakitori course is satisfying, but the price is a bit high at over 15,000 yen per person with drinks. Overall, the taste was good, but the price felt a bit expensive. Thank you for the meal! [Omakase Course 11,000 yen (tax included)] - Vegetable Sweet and Sour Pickles - Chicken Soup, Chicken Neck Skin, Gizzard, Broccoli - Thick Fried Tofu - Homemade Chicken Shumai, Shoulder, Eggplant, Liver, Tomato, Chicken Wings, Tsukune - Rice Set - Pistachio Ice Cream, Houjicha Tea.

Roppongi Hills restaurant district. When I went, almost all the customers inside were foreigners. You can bring your own wine for a corkage fee. I had a course meal, but I wished there were more items on the menu. It took a bit long for the dishes to be served considering the number of items. The atmosphere and taste were good.

Located on the 5th floor of Roppongi Hills, Torikami-san is a must-visit spot. We made a reservation for four people on Saturday at 6:00 PM and were seated at the L-shaped counter. The counter is set up in a U-shape, with an open kitchen where they grill the food. There are two grill chefs who pay close attention to the customers, providing not only delicious food but also excellent service. The chicken broth soup served at the beginning was so delicious that I wanted to have it every day. While some skewers took a bit of time to arrive, every dish was incredibly tasty. The bonjiri had a crispy exterior when it arrived, promising a delicious taste. The heart had a great chewy texture, and even though I'm not a fan of liver, it was surprisingly delicious without any unpleasant aftertaste. My personal favorite was the shoulder - the perfect balance of firmness and flavor. The tebasaki was also crispy and incredibly tasty. To finish off, we had rice cooked in a clay pot. Before the rice arrived, we were served four small side dishes. Just as the side dishes and rice were served, the tsukune (chicken meatballs) made an appearance. We were told to pour the leftover egg yolk over the rice, and we were even offered to make ochazuke (rice with tea poured over it) if we wanted. The ochazuke with chicken broth was also amazing. From start to finish, everything was perfect, including the dessert. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Unfortunately, Torioka has closed down, but a new restaurant called Torikami has opened in its place. They have kept the same grilling technique as Torioka but upgraded their menu. Very satisfied! #Torikami #Yakitori #Roppongi #Restaurant #Gourmet #Delicious #Foodie #Foodlover #Photogenic #Tokyo #Minato-ku #Shibuya-ku

I wanted to eat yakitori so I went to Torikami in Roppongi Hills. The atmosphere is the same as before when it was Torioka. The taste is excellent as always, but the portion was a bit too much. Personally, I love the broccoli and clay pot rice. I will definitely go back again.

In the hills, we stumbled upon a yakitori restaurant without a reservation. The majority of the customers were foreigners. The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and had a lovely vibe. The seating was arranged in a counter surrounding the grilling area. The yakitori was delicious! The grilled broccoli was a unique dish. The final course of rice in a clay pot was also delicious, and they even made ochazuke (tea poured over rice) with the leftovers. I was very satisfied with the meal. The chicken wings were large and had a nice texture.

I visited this restaurant after it was renovated from the previous Toriokasan. The yakitori was delicious, and the thick grilled tofu and chicken soup were also excellent! The meal ended with a clay pot rice with four side dishes. You can also have the chicken soup turned into ochazuke, and enjoy a superb TKG with the rich egg yolk of the tsukune. I was completely satisfied with the atmosphere, taste, and portion size!

Second visit. The owner has changed to Torikami-san. The yakitori is cooked over charcoal. The unique feature is the fan used by the grill master. The yakitori is delicious. There are many foreigners here. For this price, I wonder if there are other good yakitori restaurants in Tokyo. Looking forward to the future.

I saw an article in the Tabelog magazine that a new yakitori restaurant from the Nakameguro Iguchi series has opened at the former Torioka site, so I made a web reservation and visited the restaurant. It was relatively easy to get a reservation even on weekends. The restaurant is located in a chic space in a corner of Roppongi Hills, which is very stylish and elevated the mood. I sat at the counter in the shape of a "コ" and enjoyed the live feeling in front of the owner. The clientele seemed a bit upscale, with many foreigners present, perhaps due to the location. The sweet and sour pickled vegetables were refreshing and raised my expectations. The chicken soup broth was rich and flavorful. I had an omakase course with 11 skewers, including chicken neck skin, bonjiri, broccoli, thick-fried tofu, chicken shumai, seseri, shiitake mushroom, liver, ginkgo nut, chicken wings, tsukune, and chicken heart. Each skewer had a satisfying taste, and the grilling was exquisite, providing the best flavor. Shiitake mushrooms and ginkgo nuts are my favorite ingredients, so I was very satisfied. The side dishes for rice were also delicious. They mentioned that you can also have ochazuke (rice with tea poured over it), so I left some rice and had it made into ochazuke with chicken soup. It was also delicious. I also had some dessert, and it was a blissful course. The owner was humble and attentive, and the service was excellent. I also had some sake and the total cost was around 17,000 yen per person. Considering the satisfaction level, it was worth it. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I went to "Torikami" for the first time after previously going to "Torioka". While the basic course remains the same, there were also some new elements. The skewers are large as before, but it was great to have plenty of satisfying yakitori to eat. Rice is served at the end, so the portion size is quite generous.

The atmosphere is quiet but not tense. It is easy to tell that it is a bird skewer establishment, with well-cooked skewers. Each skewer has a satisfying bite, although the number of skewers in the course may be a bit low. However, considering the rice dish at the end, the overall volume is quite substantial.

I visited the restaurant "Torikami" located in Roppongi Hills, West Walk 5th floor. The interior is spacious with a comfortable atmosphere. The new owner, Yuuta Shirai, has brought new life to the former popular restaurant "Torioka". The staff is energetic and attentive. The atmosphere and taste are both excellent. The omakase course included various grilled chicken dishes, all cooked to perfection. The rice and chicken soup at the end were also delicious. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience at a great restaurant.

Since the era of Torioka-san, I have been regularly visiting this shop for various reasons. Despite changing its name, the main chefs responsible for grilling are still the talented chefs from the old Torioka era, Chef Shirai and Chef Ishiguro from the old Torikado, ensuring consistently delicious food! The cozy atmosphere and excellent service allow for a relaxing dining experience. Even though the organization has changed, I am impressed by the dedication and hospitality of the Torishiki lineage. While the menu style remains mostly the same, there have been slight changes in the types of chicken used, as well as new grilled skewers and side dishes. I look forward to seeing the future menu offerings! Thank you very much, as always! I heard they are planning to open a second branch in Fukuoka, and I would love to visit if I have the chance. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

As you may know, the restaurant "Tori Shiki" has been rebranded as "Tori Kami" while still carrying on the DNA of its predecessor. I recently visited for the first time, and was pleased to find spacious seating inside Roppongi Hills. The main change since becoming "Tori Kami" is the switch from "Date Chicken" to "Mizugou Akadori" chicken. The dishes I enjoyed included the classic "kashiwa" skewers, succulent "seseri" neck meat, and flavorful "tebasaki" chicken wings. While the variety of chicken parts could be expanded, the quality of the food was excellent. The meal ended with a unique dish of chicken and bonito dashi tea rice, followed by pistachio ice cream in a crispy shell. Overall, a satisfying dining experience that I would revisit if given the chance.

Newly renovated restaurant "Torioka". Opened on January 10, 2023. The chef trained at Torishiki. Only offers an omakase course for 11,000 yen. The chicken used is on the larger side, but internal organs are not heavily featured. Cooked with strong and close heat, resulting in decent flavor. The meal ends with Yumepirika's clay pot rice. Sides include pickled vegetables, pickled plums, shredded dried fish, and seaweed. Finish with grilled minced chicken meatballs topped with raw egg over rice for a total of 17,000 yen per person, which may seem a bit pricey due to the limited number of skewers provided.

The portion size was a bit too much for me. I think I would be more likely to come back if they offered a course with a little less volume for around 8,000 yen, rather than the 11,000 yen course. Even my partner seemed to be struggling. Overall, I was disappointed that there was no chicken breast or liver, so I didn't have a standard to evaluate the yakitori. However, the rice in the clay pot at the end was very delicious! I couldn't eat much because I was already full, so I felt like it was a waste.

Torio-ka in Roppongi Hills has been renovated. As part of the Torishiki group, the food is really delicious and just to my taste. The service is also polite and pleasant. The food is delicious, reservations are still easy to get, and it's conveniently located inside the Hills. I want to go back again.

Hello, I am a gourmet actor. Tonight, I went to Torikami, a restaurant that is difficult to make reservations at. They only offer a set course menu, which shows their confidence in their dishes. Each skewer is creatively made and has a refined taste. The cozy atmosphere gives off a hidden gem vibe. It's perfect for business dinners, couples, or dates, as it will surely impress your companions. I recommend making a reservation early as this place tends to fill up quickly. The meal ends with a delicious clay pot rice dish. The freshly cooked rice in a clay pot is truly exceptional. The price may exceed ¥10,000, but the satisfaction you get is worth it. Even at a high-end restaurant, if each dish shows dedication and the dining experience is enjoyable, I am completely satisfied. While there are other high-end skewer restaurants, I believe Torikami is one of the best. If you happen to be in Roppongi, please give it a try! Omakase course ¥11,000 includes appetizers, 11 skewers, clay pot rice, chicken soup, etc. Prices are inclusive of tax, with an additional 10% service charge. Some drink options include beer starting from ¥880, glass of wine from ¥1,000, bottle of wine from ¥5,800, and a corkage fee of ¥4,400.

The grilled chicken at Torishiki series, Toriokasan, is still delicious, especially when enjoyed while watching the vigorous fire grilling on the new white wood-like counter. The vegetables were also very tasty, but the crispy and juicy meat was the highlight of the meal!

Originally a yakitori restaurant called Torioka, located inside Roppongi Hills West Walk. The owner, Mr. Shirai, who had gained a Michelin star at Torishiki, decided to rebrand the independent Torioka as Torikami. They have revamped the team of artisans significantly, with plans to expand globally in the future. The renewal started on January 10th this year. I had the opportunity to dine there for a business meeting, so I didn't take many photos. We opted for the omakase course, which consisted of 11 skewers of grilled chicken and vegetables. They offered a variety of drinks, including sake, shochu, and wine. The meal started with a main appetizer of pickles and chicken soup. Then, we had skewers like bonjiri, gizzard, neck, chicken skin, and surprisingly, broccoli, shiitake mushrooms, thick fried tofu, and ginkgo nuts. The course also included a substantial tebasaki (chicken wing) and tsukune (chicken meatball) skewer. The meal ended with a clay pot rice selected by a rice master, served with a raw egg. The rice was glossy and delicious, especially when mixed with the leftover egg yolk. The meal concluded with chicken soup and rice, which was a fantastic finish. The selection of drinks was extensive, including Wind Forest and other options. The yakitori and clay pot rice were exceptional, and I would love to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
