The human dock has ended safely, and daily life has resumed. This "daily life" refers to the daily routine of eating out (laughs). As I get older, I know that there will come a time when I will have to stop due to health reasons, but until then, I want to continue enjoying eating out while taking care of my health. Some people get too caught up in food blogs, prioritizing something over the enjoyment, but I believe that food blogs are an extension of the joy of eating. I definitely don't want to make such a mistake. On this day, my lunch buddy had a human dock appointment, so I had lunch alone. The target this time was the area under the JR elevated tracks beyond the east exit of Kanda Station. The area near the station is called Ichiban-gai, but beyond that street is Kanda Fureai Street. The restaurant I visited is located along Kanda Fureai Street. The restaurant is a member of the food blog, and I have not been very fond of food blog restaurant members in the past. This is because almost all the so-called Z-grade izakayas, which have been causing a stir recently, are food blog restaurant members. However, when I used a certain food blog member's restaurant for lunch the other day, I was quite impressed. At that time, I felt once again that "Z-grade izakaya (poor quality restaurant) -> food blog restaurant member" may be true, but "food blog member restaurant -> poor quality restaurant is not necessarily true", in other words, the reverse is not necessarily true. Although our restaurant has only two reviews, one from the Queen of Kanda and another from another person, it seemed that it was not a poor quality restaurant, so I decided to give it a try on this day. This day, my work in the morning was delayed until noon, and I arrived at the restaurant around 12:30. There were only 6 two-person tables on the first floor of the restaurant, but there were also seats on the second floor. I saw quite a few people finishing their meals and coming down from the second floor to pay while I was there. According to the food blog restaurant information, the capacity is 28 seats, so there seem to be 22 seats excluding the second floor seats. The first floor was quite crowded with two other customers already seated, so I was guided to the only available table. The customers at our restaurant are mostly women. Some people say that a high ratio of women is a sign of a good restaurant, so I was hopeful. The lunch menu is placed on the table. The contents are almost the same as the ones displayed outside: 1. Roast beef bowl with salad, potatoes, and soup for 980 yen, 2. Tomato cream pasta with snow crab for 1,000 yen, 3. Today's pasta with salad and soup for 880 yen, 4. Today's lunch plate with salad and soup for 880 yen, 5. Salad lunch with bread and soup for 780 yen. The menu on the table does not show the contents of today's pasta or today's lunch plate, but the sign outside indicated that the pasta was salmon cream pasta for 980 yen, and the lunch plate was tomato chicken oven-baked for 980 yen. I decided to go with the roast beef bowl, which seemed like a menu from the sign. I thought the roast beef bowl would be served quickly, but it took longer than expected. Contrary to my expectation, it took about 15 minutes from ordering for the roast beef bowl to be served. Normally, I would be irritated by the wait, but since I was late for lunch this day and had plenty of time for my afternoon plans, I was able to relax without getting too frustrated. The roast beef bowl consists of roast beef with a raw egg on top, accompanied by fried potatoes and salad. It also comes with soup. Mix the raw egg with the sauce and enjoy the tender roast beef. The roast beef has a crispy outer layer but melts in your mouth. The sweet and savory sauce blends perfectly, and the creamy texture of the egg adds to the deliciousness.
