After work, I was craving for a chestnut cream French pastry but couldn't find it, so I headed to Mister Donut at the Westyoyo 1F in Fussa Station. I couldn't find my usual Old Fashioned Honey donut, but I discovered a new limited edition donut called "Azuki & Whip" which was part of the crispy ring series. I bought it along with the chestnut cream French pastry. The payment options were convenient, and I used cash along with various transportation IC cards and QR code payments. I took my treats home and first tried the chestnut cream French pastry. It was small but filled with plenty of whipped cream and chestnut paste between the French cruller. The kinako sugar on top was a nice touch. Next, I tried the Azuki & Whip donut, which had a curry bread-like surface and a good amount of whipped cream inside. The combination of whipped cream and azuki was irresistible. Although I wish there was more kinako sugar on top, the donut was satisfying and worth the price.

On Friday after work, I stopped by the Mister Donut shop at the Westyoyu 1F in front of Fukusei Station. I always check if they have the Old Fashioned Honey muffin, but it's usually sold out. This time, they didn't have it again. However, they had the Moist Muffin Butter Flavor, so I bought that to take home. The shop accepts various payment methods including cash, IC cards, QR code payments, and Rakuten points. The Moist Muffin Butter Flavor was moist and had a good buttery aroma. It was a satisfying treat.

Project H - Self-indulgent World (Only those who understand will understand) (^^ A certain idol collaborated with their junior to create a new product. It is a donut filled with ganache cream and ganache whip on a chocolate cake base. (From the website) The donut is very soft, so when you try to pick it up, it falls apart (^^; It is difficult to get a good grip on it because of the Belgian chocolate on top, and the whipped cream in the middle causes it to crumble (-_-; This is more like a cake than a donut, isn't it? (^^

Today, I felt like having something sweet, so I stopped by the Mister Donut shop in Seiyu in Fussa Station. The shop has been renovated and looks really nice! Inside, it's bright and they even have the "Old Fashioned Honey" donut which they didn't always have before. I quickly picked one up, paid at the register (they accept cash and Rakuten points), and headed home to enjoy it. The donut was crispy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside, with a strong and delicious honey flavor. It was satisfying. Thank you for the meal!

Lunch set with chicken ramen, donuts, and coffee for ¥700. The ramen has a really gentle flavor. The noodles are thin and cooked firm. I also had a black sugar donut and coffee. They even brought me a refill of coffee. Thank you for the meal! 😊

There are apparently 101 Mister Donut stores in Tokyo. I decided to try and visit as many as I can. This particular store is located inside a Seiyu supermarket in front of Fussa Station. You can only enter from inside Seiyu, and the staff is polite and the store is spacious and bright. I had the Angel French here, which costs 140 yen including tax. Unlike chain restaurants like Sukiya where the taste can vary between stores, Mister Donut seems to have consistent quality. The dough is fluffy, even more so than the one at the Hachioji store. It has a smooth texture and the whipped cream is fluffy, with a consistent chocolate flavor.

If you go out of JR Fussa Station in Fussa City, Tokyo and turn left, you will find a Seiyu supermarket. Head to the first floor where you will find a Mister Donut shop called "Mister Donut Seiyu Fussa Shop". You need to enter Seiyu first before you can enter Mister Donut, even though it looks like you can go straight in from outside. Once inside, you will see the entrance to Mister Donut on your left. There were donuts displayed right in front as soon as you enter. On the right side of the donuts, there are tongs and trays for you to choose your favorite donuts from... This time, I bought an Old Fashioned donut. It had a nostalgic feel to it, not too fluffy, and easy to eat as it wasn't too sweet. The cashier seemed a bit indifferent, like they were just going through the motions, which was a little disappointing.

West York Fukusei Store at Mister Donut on the 1st floor in Higashicho, Fukusei City. -----March 2016----- When I felt like having something sweet, I remembered this Mister Donut. I visited before 4 pm. About 90% of the seats were taken. There were about 3 staff members. I wasn't very hungry, so I thought maybe just a drink would be fine, and asked the staff at the counter to show me the drink menu. From there, I ordered the Mister Donut Premium Iced Cafe au Lait for ¥302. *By the way, even after starting to use Tabelog, I have never eaten a donut at Mister Donut! I carried the tray with the cafe au lait and looked for a seat. Perhaps it was because it was raining? There seemed to be quite a lot of customers. The cafe au lait had a mild taste, and it was just right for taking a little break or when you want something sweet. I found out later that if you order a hot coffee or cafe au lait, you can get a refill. The price is the same, so that would be more cost-effective. Thank you for the meal.

I went to visit a friend who is hospitalized at Daisei Hospital in Fussa City, and on my way to the station, I found a Mister Donut on the 1st floor of SEIYU! Since I had missed lunch, I decided to go in for dim sum. I had been curious about the "Premium" Chinese expert Chen Jianyi's supervised series, where they have carefully developed the texture, spices, flavor, and hidden flavors of the ingredients. There are 3 variations: Mapo Tofu Noodles, Hot and Sour Soup Noodles, and Shrimp Soup Noodles. Today, I ordered the "Hot and Sour Soup Noodles + Donut Set" for 710 yen. The soup of the Hot and Sour Soup Noodles is generously topped with special chili oil, making it look very spicy. I took a sip of the soup first. It was milder in spiciness than I expected, with a nice sourness and the subtle taste of ginger creating a refreshing flavor. The dish was filled with ingredients like pork, pickled mustard greens, komatsuna, and shiitake mushrooms. The noodles were very thin and straight, around 80g in weight. It was a well-balanced and delicious meal, thanks for the treat!

Mister Donut's new product! "Brooklyn D&D!" It's "D&D"! "Momiji Manju" is "B&B" (lol) A hybrid of "Danish" and "Donut" called "D&D"! This one-of-a-kind texture is the selling point of this item! I tried it right away \(^o^)/ This time I chose "Banana Chocolate D&D"! Also, a hot coffee! One bite... "It's hard (^_^;)" When I try to bite into it, it hits the back of my front teeth and hurts! Moreover, the "chocolate coating" makes it even harder. The taste is not bad! In fact, it's delicious! Once it's in your mouth, this "texture" is indeed pleasant! I think they arrived at this "thickness" in an attempt to create this texture, but biting into it at this hardness would probably be the limit for the "Old Fashioned". Even tearing it with your hands is difficult because of the chocolate... Hmm, I think they could have maintained this texture even with a slightly thinner product... The "banana" topping also has a weak scent, maybe due to being freeze-dried! A strong feeling of "wastefulness" remains with this item! It's a shame because it's delicious! I wish they had further tested the balance between this "thickness" and "hardness". However, the service at this store is very good! The staff at the register are clear and prompt! They circulate around the customer seats immediately if customers are finished! They recommend coffee, tidy up, and overall give a very favorable impression! They must have very thorough company training and maintain a high level of customer service quality and awareness. It's wonderful! Oh! Next time, let's buy lots of donuts at Mister Donut and go to the zoo! For some reason, I left the store thinking about that... Thank you for the meal.

In the rain, I took a JR East local train to Fussa. It's always a struggle to find a non-chain coffee shop with newspapers and magazines around here, and this time was no different. I ended up settling for Mister Donut, which is owned by Walmart and where I am a member. The coffee tasted better than before, with more flavor. They had a promotion for a specific donut and coffee set for 300 yen. The mugs were nice and comfortable to hold. The store played 80s Western music like a shoe store, which might be annoying to some. The store was completely non-smoking, with a tiny smoking corner about the size of a tatami mat. There are many trendy cafes if you head towards the Base on Route 16, but I found it too much trouble. The sun is out now, so I'll go home and watch MX's "O-mama Red and White Song Battle."

Today, I had lunch with my kids at Fussa Station and stopped by Mister Donut for some sweets. They had a chic and adult-looking sign. The chestnut season has started, and I tried the delicious and rich Chestnut Donut. The packaging itself was a chestnut-themed set. They had options like "Baked Chestnut Donut with Chocolate (147 yen)", "Baked Chestnut Donut with Chestnut Chocolate (147 yen)", "Pon de Chestnut Chocolate (136 yen)", "Pon de Baked Chestnut with Whipped Cream (147 yen)", and "Pon de Rich Chestnut Crunch (147 yen)". A lineup full of chestnut treats. The donuts disappeared quickly as snacks for the kids. The texture of the Pon de series is great - chewy and sticky rice flour dough. The very adult-like chestnut flavor was bitter. Hmm, this makes me reconsider Mister Donut on a whole new level. Overall, the autumn donuts with chestnut flavors are a must-try with their bitter chestnut chocolate. A delightful autumn treat. Thank you for the delicious meal.
