I came to Gotanda. It's been a while since I last visited! I went to Ikinari Steak. The restaurant was quite busy inside. I tried to go to a different location the other day, but the store was gone. I can't go frequently, but I hope Ikinari Steak will continue to do well. They did a great job. Thank you for the meal.

After work on Meat Day, I suddenly visited Ikinari Steak Gotanda store. I ordered the recommended Ichibo steak, 120g, which is a limited-time product. I also ordered rice (free) using a coupon I had. The rare meat had a good texture and was very delicious.

Gotanda Station is a 5-minute walk away. This is a shop from the "Ikisugi" series that I visited for the first time. Personally, I like to call it "Ikisute" for short haha. Today's order: Special fillet steak 200g with soup and rice. I'm not a fan of fatty meat, so I ordered the fillet. It only took 10 minutes to arrive, surprisingly fast. The meat is ordered by the gram, so you can choose how much you want. This is a great system. Now, let's see how the steak tastes... The meat is tender, perfectly cooked. I thought it would be like a regular family restaurant steak, but it was much better. Delicious! However, the soup didn't seem very impressive, more like the minestrone you find at buffets. This is a great place to drop in without a reservation, enjoy a quick meal, and leave. Thanks for the meal! Ahh~.

However, if you only use the coupon for your meal, your important meat mileage points will not be added, so I added a 150g hamburger steak as a topping. It was a wild steak after a long time. The meat quality was so good that it felt like it had changed. But on the other hand, I think it would be nice to have a little more fat.

I was indecisive about lunch and happened to visit the Ikinaristeak Gotanda store on Meat Day. I ordered the Wild Steak 200g (1390 yen) and used a service voucher to get a large serving of rice. The juicy meat was so delicious that I kept eating more and more! The bill was also cost-effective as I used a meat money coupon.

Today, I had a meat coupon that expires in April, so I thought of getting the Wild Steak, but they were out of stock. You can check out more on youtube.com/@butakoma. Without the Wild Steak, I wouldn't earn any meat mileage, so I added 150g of hamburger from Tsuika. This way, I can also accumulate meat money. However, the lean meat I asked for instead of the Wild Steak was tough and full of tendons. This kind of business practice leads to losing customers and a decrease in stock prices.

I aimed for 100kg and had it today. For more, check out youtube.com/@butakoma. The question is about the sauce that comes with the topping hamburger. At the Gakugeidaigaku branch I often visit, you can only choose onion sauce for the topping hamburger, while at the Gotanda branch, you can choose from cheese, demi-glace, and grated ponzu. I might get a rewrite if I write this here, but I also uploaded the same content on YouTube. It will be released tomorrow.

However, if you only use the coupon, you won't earn any meat mileage or meat money, so I added a 150g hamburger topping. I earned 100 yen in meat money and still have 9.7kg left to earn in meat mileage. The total payment was 560 yen. It's a system that can be quite useful if you use it wisely. I ended up being quite thrifty, though.

I tried the new lean meat from Ikinari Steak, the shoulder loin. It was lean and meaty, requiring a lot of chewing. I ordered it with a single cut, and ate it by cutting it with a knife. It's similar to the Wild Steak, but with a leaner texture and no greasiness. It's only available at limited stores, not at my local one in Gakugeidaigaku. So, as I continue towards my goal of reaching 100kg, I'll stick to eating two pieces of chicken and hamburgers. I have 11.114kg left to go.

I visited the Ikinari Steak Gotanda branch on the 29th of every month, which is Meat Day. I ordered the Mixed Cut Steak (150g) for 1390 yen. It was delicious with various cuts of meat, and it was satisfyingly tender. It would have been even better if the staff had brought water more promptly.

During the peak lunch hour, I visited the Ikedan Steak Gotanda branch, and all the other restaurants were full except for this one. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Steak 220g (940 yen). The chicken, grilled on a hot iron plate, was very delicious, with crispy skin that added to the flavor.

On the 29th, I visited the Gotanda branch of Ikinari Steak for Meat Day. I ordered the Ichibo steak 150g (1190 yen) and a large portion of rice (198 yen). I usually order medium rare, but this time I specifically asked for medium. However, it came out even rarer than usual, almost rare. I think they did this to increase turnover, but I wish they had clarified before serving all the steaks rare.

Hamburger steak lunch with 150g for 990 yen, served with salad and soup. I chose balsamic dressing from the three options, expecting something sour but it turned out to be sweet. The service was attentive, providing a cloth for bags and a paper apron for oil splashes. You can choose between a smaller portion of rice or a larger one without any change in price. The photo shows a regular portion. I had the soup last, and found two pieces of soft beef fat or meat scraps. The menu is stored on a shelf under the table, which makes sense to keep it from getting greasy.

Had dinner in Gotanda and felt like eating meat, so I went to "Ikinari! Steak". It's been a while since I last visited the Meguro-Osaki branch. It's hard to believe that they now have seating, when it used to be a stand-up place. I ordered a Ribeye Steak 300g, which actually measured 308g, for 2676 yen. I also got a salad + rice set for 330 yen and a draft beer for 445 yen. Since it's an order cut system, I went to the kitchen cutting area where they cut the meat in front of you. It's impressive how they can accurately cut around 300g from a large piece of meat. The salad with balsamic dressing and beer were enjoyable while waiting for the steak, which arrived steaming hot. The juicy ribeye was flavorful and the fat was sweet. The US beef was easy to eat and delicious. It was cooked rare, but due to the hot plate and the thickness of the meat, it was cooked through nicely. I think adding another 100g would give it a more rare finish. I tried both the sweet and spicy sauces, both were well-made. The lemon and butter on top of the meat also added great flavor. Finally, I added grated garlic. Although there were garlic chips on top, fresh garlic is on another level. The junky taste is irresistible. I finished the 300g steak easily. It was so tasty. With side dishes, the total cost goes over 3000 yen, but for this quality of steak, it's quite delicious. While there are cheaper options like Wild Steak or more affordable cuts, I really enjoy the US Ribeye at "Ikinari" so I'm satisfied.

I went to the Ikinari Steak Gotanda store. I ordered the New York Fair sirloin steak rare. The steak was cooked on a hot iron plate, and when I cut into it with a knife, it was served with mashed potatoes. The meat had a slightly tough texture with some sinew, but it was still delicious.
