X-townTokyo
Takeout specialty store located in front of Nishi-Koyama Station. Although it is pre-made, you can buy large and fresh sushi at a low price! Be careful as it tends to sell out in the evening.
[Shop]
A small shop located just a 30-second walk from Nishi-Koyama Station. There are various freshly made sushi items on display at the storefront, all looking delicious. The shop is run by an elderly couple, and they sometimes sell out in the evening, so be cautious. The customer service is neither good nor bad. It may be rude to say they are elderly, but seeing people like them continuing their business is quite impressive.
[Sushi]
Although it is a takeout sushi shop, they offer a variety of hand-rolled sushi, sushi rolls, and batter-fried sushi. The standout feature is the freshness and quality of the ingredients, which sets them apart from nearby major sushi chain stores. While the selection may be limited, they always have fresh and delicious ingredients, especially the tuna which is flavorful with a good amount of fat. The assorted sushi box is packed with tuna, shrimp, salmon roe, rolled omelette, conger eel, and flying fish roe, making it a delightful sight. The sushi rice is soft and not too firm, making it very enjoyable to eat. The rice is slightly sweet, which I personally like.
[Cost-Performance]
There are other sushi options nearby like Chiyoda Sushi and the sushi corner at Summit supermarket, but the prices are almost the same as HinoKi Sushi. Considering this, it is clear how cost-effective the sushi here is.
[Conclusion]
In terms of taste, quantity, price, and convenience, HinoKi Sushi stands out. I have been using their takeout service frequently recently because I find it to be the best option.
