The food was served by a cat robot, orders were taken on tablets, and self-checkout was available, which seemed to be a cost-cutting measure. The staff were all tall, which was surprising. Children were entertained by the cat robots that kept coming, and there were kids' chairs and menus available, making it a great place for families. Originally planning to go to Shozui, which was under renovation, I ended up at Gast nearby and decided to try THE Gast Hamburg. The portion was huge, with the hamburger alone weighing around 220g and priced at 900 yen. The set with the drink bar, rice, and soup bar cost an additional 450 yen, which seemed a bit expensive, but the quick service and friendly staff made it worth it. I had previously found Gast to be unappetizing with limited options, but it seems to have improved. I would definitely consider returning.

On this day, I was busy cleaning the house and before I knew it, it was already noon! Since it was past 12 o'clock and everywhere was crowded, I decided to go nearby. This place is usually not too busy, so there is hardly any wait, making it very convenient! I decided to try the assorted fried chicken because they also have a good selection of dishes. It only took about 5 to 6 minutes for Nyankorobo to bring it to me, meowing all the way. I dug in right away. The fried chicken here is delicious! The honey mustard is also tasty. I quickly finished my meal. Thank you for the delicious food. I'll do some shopping at Keio Department Store in Musashimurayama and head back home.

This is my first experience with a meal-serving robot at the 1198th restaurant in Tokyo. It's dinner time in the evening, but since it's a weekday, the place is not very crowded. When I entered, the staff told me to choose any seat I liked. As I looked around the restaurant, I saw the rumored cat robot. The ordering is done through a tablet at this restaurant. I planned to order a steak and something else, but I couldn't figure out the menu on the tablet, so I ended up looking at the regular menu and entering the numbers. The Sirloin Steak was 1594 yen and the Meat Spa was 934 yen. Steaks at Gusto are over 1500 yen... I had high expectations for the price, but the quality wasn't as good as I hoped. It was tender, but lacked that meaty flavor. Well, at least it was easy to eat without any tough parts. I regret ordering too much pasta.

Just a 5-minute drive from home is a Gusto restaurant! I pass by it every day, but because it's so close, I never use it. On this day, I went to a restaurant I had my eye on, but the line was so long that I had to give up. I tried other options, but since it was already past 1 pm, everywhere was crowded. So I decided to try this place since the parking lot was empty and the restaurant was not busy. It's located along the old road, so it's not very noticeable, which comes in handy in situations like this! I wonder if this place has been in business for over 30 years! On weekends during lunchtime, it's usually quite busy with locals, but today it was empty, so lucky me! I usually go for the chicken sauté with garlic sauce at Gusto. It's affordable and I love garlic sauce. I ordered the rice in large size with the soup and drink bar set. Lately, touch panel ordering has become more common, and this place is no exception. It took about 6-7 minutes from ordering for the food to arrive, brought by a robot cat server. It seems to help reduce labor costs! The chicken sauté was nothing special, just the usual Gusto quality. But it felt like the chicken pieces were smaller than before. Maybe Gusto is reducing portion sizes instead of raising prices due to inflation? The wakame seaweed soup was decent in taste and since it's free, I had a couple of refills. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I noticed they also offer takeout for their fried chicken, so I might try that next time.

Last month, my husband rented a DVD at Tsutaya and presented his T-point card, receiving a thermal paper coupon♬ The coupon was for a discount on Gusto's hamburger & chicken karaage set, from ¥699 to ¥499, with an expiration date of 12/9. So tonight, I happily used it (⌒▽⌒) I ordered the regular rice for ¥193. I was able to sit at my favorite table, but since it was dinner time, the restaurant was quite crowded with customers, so I had to wait a bit for the menu to arrive. There were few staff members, and a young man was handling seating, orders, and serving on the floor all by himself. The hamburger was thin but very tender, juicy, and had an elegant flavor when bitten into (≧∇≦) It felt different from amateur hamburgers. The sautéed carrots with skin-on were slightly sweetened with sugar, making them smooth and delicious (*^o^*) Overall, it had a strangely refreshing taste ♡ The fries were good as well. I like chicken karaage, but it's not something I would normally order without a coupon like this one. I made sure to take advantage of the ¥200 discount and actively paid attention to it (=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ The daikon radish with shredded shiso leaves and ponzu sauce made the chicken karaage even more delicious ♡ It was fried crispy without being greasy, and the crunchy coating was tasty. The rice was just right, not too hard or too soft, ideal for me♪ Despite not being a big eater, the portion was just right for me, providing a healthy and refreshing Western meal experience, leaving me satisfied ψ(*｀∇´*)ψ

My wife, who loves ramen, finally agreed to go out for hamburgers that I like. We went to a nearby Gusto for the first time in a while. Looking at the menu, I noticed that the hamburgers were a bit simpler than I expected, more like a Jonathan's style, which surprised me. I had always thought of Gusto's hamburgers as being thick and served on a hot plate, so I was a bit disappointed at first. I decided to go with my usual mixed grill instead. When the food arrived, my hamburger was served on a plate, not on a hot plate like I had imagined. I took a bite feeling a bit disappointed, but was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! I ended up finishing it in no time and felt very happy with the taste of Gusto's hamburger.

This is probably the least crowded Gusto in Tokyo. It's a hidden gem where I've never had to wait before. I use it when I don't want to wait for dinner on Saturdays and Sundays. Gusto used to be known for being a low-priced version of Skylark with poor quality, but it has improved recently. This time, three of us ordered the Soft Fin Cutlet Set for 799 yen, Grilled Young Chicken for 599 yen, Japanese-style Salad Udon for 599 yen, Meat Doria for 399 yen, and Caesar Salad for 299 yen. We ate recognizing that it is a family restaurant. The taste is average, but it's proportional to the price, so we were satisfied. The staff quickly took our order and the food was served promptly, making it easy to use. It meets the criteria of being cheap, not having to wait, and having average taste, so I will continue to use it in the future (laughs).
