I come here when I want to eat yakitori inexpensively before payday. The appetizer is always cabbage skewers. I eat it with spicy miso. This alone can fill me up quite a bit. The main menu is yakitori. The party menu is also cheap, so we often used it for company gatherings.

So, today was the perfect timing to go out for lunch. Despite many shops being closed for the Bon holiday, this shop, Sumibi Yakitori Kushihachin Shichigaya, was open for business! It was my first time visiting, and there were three people waiting outside. Hmm, not good... Looking around, the floor was quite spacious, and there were empty seats here and there. Maybe they are struggling to seat everyone on time? About 5 minutes later, we were shown to our seats. I promptly ordered the "Momo Yaki Don" for 920 yen, as I was starving. While waiting, I played games on my phone. Oh no, I used up all 5 free lives in the puzzle game. Oh well, let's play a different game! Wait, where's my Momo Yaki Don? It still hasn't arrived! It's been over 20 minutes, and everyone around me has left, leaving the restaurant quite empty, but the food still hasn't come... After waiting for about 30 minutes, the food finally arrived! At this point, I had to eat quickly to leave within 10 minutes and not be late. I just had to devour it all (´;︵;`) In no time, it was finished! Perhaps the staff was short-handed due to the Bon holiday? Oh well, it can't be helped ┐(￣ヘ￣)┌

◆Momo-yaki Donburi 920 yen It had been a while since I last visited Kushachi. I realized that I had never tried the Momo-yaki Donburi before, so I decided to order it. It seems like the prices have gone up a bit. The chicken thigh was skewered on a stick. It tasted great when I poured the onsen tamago over it. Next time, I will try the Hacchin Teishoku.

I asked people from work and we went to a yakitori restaurant. This place has a lot of seats, so it's perfect for everyone to have a great time together. We had Asahi beer and Kinmiya chuhai. Sorry for not having many photos, but thank you for the delicious meal!

Since it's a restaurant specializing in charcoal-grilled chicken skewers, I ordered the charcoal-grilled chicken skewers set meal this time. The skewers are quite delicious. There is also a set meal with grated daikon radish on top of the chicken skewers.

◆Double Chicken Set Meal 850 yen I had lunch at Kushachi for the first time in a while. The lunch menu has changed significantly. I ordered the Double Chicken Set Meal, which includes both fried chicken and chicken nanban. It was quite a large portion and I ended up feeling very full, so next time I will try a different menu.

I visited for lunch. The restaurant is located on the first floor of a building, and when you open the door and enter, you will find the shop at the back. Normally, it seems to be a yakitori restaurant at night, but they have expanded to lunchtime during these times. Anyway, I entered the restaurant. The lunch menu is available from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. I sat down and ordered the Spicy Tuna Yukhoe Donburi for lunch (tax included 900 yen). When the staff came to take my order, they mentioned that you can choose a large serving for the same price, so of course, as a guy, I ordered the large serving. The dish arrived in about 10 minutes. It was quite a generous portion due to the large size! I added the accompanying chili oil to my liking and started eating. Oh, it's delicious! The tuna is well flavored, with no fishy smell at all. It goes beyond just a typical marinated rice bowl and feels like entering a new realm. When you add the finely shredded pickled daikon radish to the bowl while eating, the texture increases and it gets even better! For those who don't like spicy food, be careful not to add too much chili oil as it can get spicy, so use it in moderation. I enjoyed it until the last bite!

I finished work in Ichigaya on this day and stopped by this building in front of the station. When I went to the second floor of the building relatively early, there were several izakayas with a unique atmosphere. Since it was on the second floor, all the shops had windows and it felt open and a bit reassuring. I was the first customer to enter and sat at the end of the counter, ordered a Hoppy set, macaroni salad, and about 3 skewers. The macaroni salad was quite large, so it was a good appetizer while waiting for the skewers to cook. Before the skewers arrived, I finished my first glass of Hoppy, asked for a refill, and had my second glass while waiting for the skewers. The skewers arrived - pork liver, negima (chicken and leek), and pig's ear. They were all cooked very nicely and tasted delicious. After eating one skewer, my second glass was empty, so I ordered another refill and had my third glass of Hoppy. I enjoyed slowly sipping my drink and savoring the skewers before finishing. In the end, it was a very satisfying casual drink, totaling 2005 yen.

I visited the restaurant alone around 1 pm on a weekday. Upon entering, I first paid at the register and received a ticket. The restaurant is in the same group as "Uohachi," so they have the same system and stamp card. After that, I sat at a random table and my food came out in less than 3 minutes, it was impressively fast. I love fast service at restaurants. The restaurant was about half full, with many solo diners and women. It was a bit disappointing that the rice was clumped together in some places, but considering the price and speed, it was acceptable. I recommend this place for those who value quick service for lunch.

I went to Ichigaya Station for lunch around 1:15 PM. I decided to eat at Yakitori Kushihachi, a restaurant on the first floor of a building. The service was quick, and I ordered the Chicken Karaage Set for 720 yen. The dish came out in just 3 minutes, with crispy fried chicken, grated daikon with ponzu sauce, onion slices, miso soup with fried tofu, and pickles. The quick service and delicious food made for a satisfying lunch experience.

I have been coming to this restaurant for about 20 years now, occasionally visiting other locations like the Kudanshita or Ginza branches of the same chain. The taste is pretty consistent across all of them. This particular branch is larger than the Kudanshita one. However, yesterday the service was quite slow, with waitstaff taking a long time to come to our table when we needed something. It's unfortunate that the nearby Sushi Noya has closed down. I may not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

The lunch at the izakaya is delicious! Chicken katsu simmered set meal for 850 yen. It has a good portion size and cost performance!
