There is a members-only restaurant called Ura Tora in a certain place in Nakameguro. It is known for serving the highest quality T-bone steak handpicked by a connoisseur of yakiniku. They hold special events a few times a month with newly sourced ingredients, and on this day, they hosted a dumpling party. My friends and I, a total of 4 people, enjoyed various types of dumplings along with premium raw meat appetizers. The meal ended with the signature Harami steak and curry, served with Hokkaido rice. For dessert, we had two types of shaved ice - classic kinako and seasonal fruit flavors. It was a delicious and satisfying meal, leaving us extremely full once again.

Private hidden gem restaurant. It had been a while since I last visited. This time, I was invited by an acquaintance. When I arrived, it turned out to be a group date with three men, including me, and three women. As an older guy, it was a slightly awkward situation. I started with a lemon sour and raised a toast. We began with a "Tomato Salad" that was not your typical tomato salad, with capers and onions adding complexity to the flavors. Next up was "Fresh Oysters" served with an original sauce that made them easy to eat. I tried to focus on our conversation, as the neighboring table's discussion seemed a bit questionable. We all lowered our voices a bit while chatting. The "Liver" arrived, a beautifully colored liver that was fresh and delicious. Then came the "Cabbage Dumplings," unexpectedly delicious and served in a way that made you want more. We moved on to the main dishes, including a T-bone steak that was impressively large. The "Sirloin" was fatty but enjoyable, while the "Filet" was more to my liking as an older guy. We couldn't finish all the meat, so we saved some for the curry that followed. The curry was flavorful, not too spicy, and tasted even better with the added meat. We also had a lettuce and onion salad with the curry. For dessert, we enjoyed finely shaved "Strawberry Shaved Ice" and "Kinako Shaved Ice," both delicious and refreshing. The soft serve ice cream added a nice touch. It was a memorable meal, and we all agreed to meet up again in a few months. This restaurant is great for building good relationships.

This is a completely referral-based shop. It's quietly tucked away in an alley with no sign. It seems the owner of Toranoana created this place to invite acquaintances. It seems like a place where well-known people gather. Everything that came out was amazing. The T-bone steak in particular was outstanding. I've never had anything like it before. The curry was also amazing. I had three helpings. The drinks were also carefully selected, and the wine was wonderful. Everything was amazing.

I casually come here at least 10 times. I took a photo for the first time in a while, so I'll just post it. There's no need to explain more than the initial review, so I'll just chat and try to make it 200 characters. I often go to the same restaurant, so I easily run out of topics. What do you want to eat on your last night? It's a common question at banquets. About 60% of people feel like sushi, but I prefer tonkatsu set meal. I named it "Blue Tonkatsu," but steak is its rival. Thick meat grilled and eaten is unbeatable, especially with garlic soy sauce and rice. It's even better with garlic. I love steak. It's by invitation only, but if you have the chance, definitely try it. It's full of celebrities.

I visited the exclusive restaurant Ura Torafu in Ebisu, famous for its harami (skirt steak) dishes. While their main course is usually T-bone steak, they also offer various courses for members, with high-quality dishes like samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) and kimchi hot pot. This time, they had a special course called "Autumn Toyama Meeting," featuring seafood and mountain delicacies from Toyama. The highlight was the wild boar hot pot sourced from a hunter named Ishiguro Kitaro, known for his exceptional game meat. The course included various dishes like kombu kamaboko with wasabi soy sauce, Toyama sashimi platter, fried taro roots, and ice crab udon. The main attraction was the wild boar hot pot, allowing guests to taste both male and female meat. The meat was praised for its clean taste, attributed to the rich diet and clean water in Nanami City where the boars are raised. The male meat had a strong meaty flavor, while the female meat was sweet with collagen-rich white meat enhancing the soup's flavor. The dish was served with celery, watercress, and mushrooms, creating a delightful combination. Overall, the wild boar hot pot was exceptional and one of the best I've ever had. I look forward to another opportunity to enjoy this delicious meal again. Thank you for the wonderful dining experience.

I visited a members-only steak restaurant in Naka-Meguro for the second time in about 6 years, thanks to a member who made a reservation for me (grateful). The place is run by Shin, the owner of the Ebisu yakiniku restaurant "Toranoana," as a personal hobby, catering to a select group of customers. They often offer limited courses featuring rare ingredients or seasonal items sourced on a day-to-day basis. The highlight here is definitely the huge T-bone steak! It's so delicious that I can't think of any better meat than this (I've been craving this and searching for a member to take me here). Now that I can make reservations myself, if anyone is interested, let's go together~ (It's not cheap, about 25,000 yen per person for food and drinks, but worth it).

Members-only steak restaurant "Ura Tora" is a hidden gem affiliated with Tora no Ana. Their T-bone steak is incredibly impressive. We reserved the entire place for 16 people. It's truly a hidden gem of a restaurant. #UraTora #ToraNoAna #Steakhouse #MembersOnly #PrivateReservation #HiddenGem

The introduction of the shop is all about the first review, so please refer to that. Basically, it's a steakhouse, but there was no steak this day. It was a vegetable event in Izu for 20,000 yen including all-you-can-drink. At the banquet, there were various grilled dishes in between, and at the end, there was wagyu sukiyaki with rice. Gyoza was also served. It was a vegetable-focused event like that. The location and menu are kept secret. There is no fixed menu, just whatever is delicious at the time. If you have the chance, be sure to try it out. I didn't eat steak, and now I feel like having some steak. Maybe I'll have it tomorrow. Personally, I like delicious imported ribeye steaks. I can't eat a lot of fatty wagyu, 150g is my limit. I like to eat lean meat like 500g of sirloin. I also like Costco's meat and I buy imported meat from National or Nissin at the supermarket. I love rare meat. Garlic soy sauce and rice are the best. I drank a lot, so there are hardly any photos...

It's an introduction-based system. There is no sign, just a back alley. The owner of the Tiger's Den invites regular customers and acquaintances through referrals, and operates the shop only through that referral network. They offer a variety of dishes, focusing on steaks, seasonal delicacies, and original creations. The steak is sometimes available and sometimes not, with T-bone steaks being popular. They also host events like dumpling nights, garlic chive nights, kimchi hot pot nights, beer nights, negi sukiyaki nights, and ultimate cold noodle nights. The curry served at the end is often a deliciously sweet and spicy curry. They usually end with shaved ice. The prices vary depending on the event, ranging from around 20,000 yen to 15,000 yen or even 10,000 yen for cheaper events. There are also days with all-you-can-drink options. The restaurant sends out event invitations through LINE, offering a wide range of drinks from high-end wines to tasty lemon sours. They have a selection of beers, including chilled jugs. It may not be suitable for formal dinners, but it's great for lively gatherings with friends, group dates, parties, or casual drinking sessions. If you have the chance, definitely give it a try!

Twitter ID: jigenace777 Instagram ID: jigenace777 This is an introduction-only restaurant organized by the Ebisu yakiniku restaurant, Toranoana. There is no sign, and it is located in an alley, so its existence is unknown to the surrounding area, known only to a few people. The sterile interior consists of a counter and four tables for 6-8 people each. The tablecloths are quite worn out... it's about time they were replaced. On this day, we had the omakase course which included T-bone steak. - Omakase T-bone steak + all-you-can-drink - Tomato salad - Octopus carpaccio - Corn soup - Cucumber salad - Fried eggplant - Beef tripe stew - Salad - T-bone steak (said to be Japanese beef but origin unknown) - Curry rice - Peach shaved ice - Plum shaved ice - Soybean flour shaved ice + ice cream - Drinks: Lemon highball, red wine Visited with 4 people. One person wanted a non-alcoholic drink, but they said, "We don't have non-alcoholic options today"... so they ended up with a lemon squash made by squeezing lemon into carbonated water. There were various alcoholic drinks available, but we ended up just having a few lemon highballs and red wines. We were served a bottle of Bourgogne wine (retails for around 4,000 yen) as a gift, but I didn't think the young 2015 Pinot Noir went well with the dishes. The T-bone steak looked impressive, but when divided among 4 people, it was only about 4 pieces per person, so it didn't have much impact. The taste and texture were nothing special. Even among Japanese beef, there is a wide range of quality. The other dishes were also served in portions for 4 people, so when divided among 4, it was just a few bites per person. The curry rice was refillable, so you could get full with refills, but I couldn't bring myself to get more of the sweet-flavored Japanese-style curry. With a total cost of over 80,000 yen (over 20,000 yen per person), the cost performance was terrible. The restaurant had no background music, and the female staff provided minimal service by just stating the names of the dishes. It was a rather uncomfortable space. I was able to enjoy the company of my close friends, which was a relief. Suddenly, the owner appeared and said, "It's over!" What does "It's over!" mean??? Recently, I visited a meat cuisine restaurant in a similar price range that was absolutely fantastic, making it difficult to compare, but overall, it was a disappointing night in Nakameguro.

There are many delicious dishes, but it feels like there are too many. The T-bone steak was delicious. Even the dessert was tasty, but the atmosphere of the restaurant is a bit unsettling. Also, it felt a little expensive. Maybe it's because of the strong personality of the owner, which makes it uncomfortable to eat.

After working out at Ura-Toratetsu in Nakameguro, I always crave meat. This place was perfect for those times. The domestic black wagyu T-bone steak was unbelievably delicious. It's not easy to find domestic T-bone steak, so I was very satisfied. The wine was also excellent. Thank you for the meal.

It seems that only those who are introduced can go to this hidden gem of a restaurant in Naka-Meguro. The T-bone steak with fillet and sirloin was outstanding. The dessert of kinako shaved ice was also incredibly delicious. There were plenty of vegetables overall, so it didn't feel too heavy. The spacious and lovely atmosphere made it very comfortable! I heard that the sukiyaki and gyoza are also delicious, so I would love to visit again if I have the chance!

Ebisu's "Tora no Ana" owner runs a referral-only restaurant called "Ura Tora." The phone number and location are not disclosed. Let's start with the leeks. The owner's roots are in Korea, and their miso, passed down through generations, is exceptionally delicious. The sardines are fatty and rich. Just dipping them in soy sauce allows the fat to spread smoothly. The garlic chives taste more like strong green onions than garlic. These little appetizers come out at a good pace, which is nice. The oyster gratin is technically a gratin, but the oyster flavor dominates and is delicious. Eggplant in a thick sauce. This eggplant is delicious. It's fresh, juicy, and full of flavor, perfect with the richly seasoned meat sauce. Grated nagaimo topped with fresh seaweed. The seaweed's ocean flavor explodes in your mouth. Six plates of dumplings with leeks, onions, green onions, lotus root, shiitake mushrooms, and garlic are served. Each one is delicious, but maybe there was no need to eat them in a luxurious restaurant like ours. I also accepted the shiitake dumplings for those who don't like shiitake, so I'm full. A dish made from the sardines mentioned at the beginning. Oh, delicious. The fat is just right, and the umami is concentrated, making it one of the best sardine dishes I've ever had. Oden is served. The octopus balls and hanpen are delicious. They are among the best I've ever had. Water dumplings are also thrown into the pot. Although the restaurant's main dish is steak, I ended up eating dumplings only (laughs). Bone crackers. Although wine was the main drink that day, the taste makes you want sake. Stewed hormone (?). As expected from a yakiniku restaurant, the quality of the hormone is excellent. It's fatty, but there's no unpleasant taste. The main event, T-bone steak, is served. The surface is crispy and fragrant, while the inside is almost raw, my favorite doneness. It's very delicious, but I ate too much in the beginning, so I'm feeling uncomfortable. The salad is also delicious, but unfortunately, my stomach is too full to enjoy it. But I ate it. The tomatoes are delicious. Arrabbiata. Well, this is just a regular arrabbiata. It has a medium level of flavor regardless of whether you're full or not. The curry has a very strong acidity, similar to hayashi rice before simmering. Dessert is shaved ice and soft serve ice cream. This is delicious. It's a special shaved ice made with water from Mount Fuji, and despite being at the peak of fullness, I ate every bite. This restaurant serves a variety of dishes made with excellent ingredients, and I haven't been this full in a long time. It reminded me of the rush at Motomachi Umemiya. Next time, I want to plan more strategically, focus on the steak, and leave some room in my stomach while enjoying the meal.

In Nakameguro, down a narrow alley, if you have the courage to open the door with a tiger seal, you will be greeted with amazing dishes made with high-quality ingredients. Every time, there is an overwhelming amount of side dishes and a surprising T-bone steak. The dessert that comes as a treat is also more than you can eat. Come to the restaurant with a big appetite!

Tora no Ana is a members-only restaurant in Ebisu, run by the owner of a yakiniku restaurant. It is located within walking distance from Naka-Meguro Station. The restaurant maintains difficulty in reservations by utilizing the exclusivity of being a members-only establishment and the owner's connections. The main clientele seems to be insensitive to the taste and cost-effectiveness, which may explain why the food and value did not seem particularly impressive. The signature dish is the T-bone steak, which offers a chewy texture and meaty flavor, but it did not seem to be as outstanding as its reputation suggests. The lemon sour drink is also popular and quite tasty, although I have not had it much to compare. The restaurant also serves themed ingredients, but they all seem to be priced well over 20,000 yen per person. There are also Korean dishes available due to the owner being Korean, but considering the prices, they are not particularly impressive. The service and atmosphere are fine, but they do not meet the standards of a high-end restaurant. Unless you are visiting for the specific purpose of networking or strengthening connections, it is unlikely that you would choose to dine here for the food.

This time, I visited a gathering to eat oysters. The oysters inside the shells looked a bit tired, but they tasted delicious. The oyster shabu-shabu in the hot pot afterwards was also amazingly tasty. It was my first time trying it with sesame sauce. I devoured the promised T-bone steak and ended up having three helpings of curry.

Delicious dishes that make you want to shout "Yummy!" keep coming out one after another. The floor staff seems to consist mainly of foreigners, so there are times when communication in Japanese is not smooth and it can be a bit frustrating. Even getting a glass replaced can be a challenge. Despite these minor inconveniences, it's a fun place where you can enjoy a meal without any pretense.

I have been to Ebisu no Tora no Ana several times, but this was my first visit to Ura Tora!! I was invited by an acquaintance and was able to visit. There is no sign, so no one would notice that this is a yakiniku restaurant haha. It truly felt like a members-only place. This time, I ordered the chef's choice course and drinks of my choice. I mainly drank red wine as the focus was on meat. The dishes were all elaborate, not just meat. The tomato and pea shoot salad, Pacific saury carpaccio, and white shrimp tempura were all exquisite! However, the highlight of this restaurant is definitely the T-bone steak!! The wild look of it is insane haha. It is divided into fillet and sirloin with plenty of fat! The owner said the sirloin is delicious and he was right! The steak was cooked medium rare, just right! Not too fatty, I devoured it with joy! The steak was superb when combined with salt, pepper, and garlic for flavor variation! And of course, the finale of this restaurant is curry. You can feel the attention to detail in the roux more than at other curry shops. It's not too spicy or too sweet, probably designed to go well with alcohol. Impressive!! The dessert was shaved ice! This was a big hit among the male members! I don't think I've ever eaten this much shaved ice in one day haha. It was truly a delightful experience! Thank you for the meal!
