On a regular day, I couldn't make it to my first job by 9:00, so I joined from the second job and suddenly went up a hill to a Chinese restaurant in Ichigaya. It seemed like a typical place. When I entered, the staff, Chinese girls, were very friendly and it made me happy. When I asked for recommendations, they suggested eggplant with Sichuan pepper. I ordered it and it was amazing! It was fried with a thin coating, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a delicious Sichuan pepper flavor that was irresistible. I wanted to order more, it was so delicious. I think I ate most of it! I forgot to take a picture of the menu, but the eggplant fried with Sichuan pepper was outstanding, worth going to the restaurant for. Other dishes I had were mapo tofu with a spicy Sichuan style, daikon mochi with plenty of umami, chicken karaage that I didn't try so I'm not sure, pan-fried dumplings, and stir-fried shredded potatoes that I love! It was quite spicy with chili peppers, but the sweet and savory seasoning was addictive. I ordered highballs, sours, and many more, spending around 2500 yen alone. The restaurant was popular with many people coming after work, and the staff was really nice, so it's no wonder it's popular. I don't often go to Ichigaya, but this restaurant is very convenient and the food was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

It seems like they recently moved as the interior is clean and well-maintained. As a Chinese izakaya, the walls are decorated with posters of beers and chu-hi drinks, giving off a casual vibe. There are 8 table seats visible, with more tables in the back. The service was excellent, with a friendly and smiling woman in her 50s, possibly from China. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I started with a draft beer, which was a Suntory product. It has been a while since I had Malt's beer, and it was delicious. The dishes I ordered were: Century Egg Tofu: ○, Spicy Green Onion and Char Siu Salad: ◎, Gyoza: ○, Garlic Sprouts and Liver: ○, and Vegetable Soup. All of them were above average in taste! The smile of the friendly woman added to the overall experience. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

After going through the pandemic, the place has moved and reopened with a new look. Sweet and sour pork set meal for 850 yen. Crispy fried meat and crunchy fried vegetables with a thick sauce. A nostalgic taste that becomes addictive. Alcohol almost at cost price and a wide range of menu options. Cheers! As a bonus, a mini almond jelly is provided for free. Show us more charm at night!
