I really wanted to eat yakiniku, so I made a reservation with my wife and we went. It was Saturday and quite crowded. We barely got seats at the counter because we had a reservation. It's essential to make a reservation on weekends because there are a lot of families. Well, it's Gyu-Kaku, so the meat is decent. Don't expect too much. But the all-you-can-drink option for a little over 3,000 yen per person is a great deal. Well, that's how it is.

I went to the restaurant alone for yakiniku. They offer a half size option which allows you to try a variety of meats. I was supposed to receive a 500 yen coupon by downloading the app, but the app didn't work properly so I had to ask for a discount in a different way. After that, I immediately deleted the app. The taste of the meat was okay. With the 500 yen discount, I managed to keep the total bill under 5,000 yen.
Sometimes I crave yakiniku and this is the place I often go to. It's located right next to Doutor, just a short walk from Hatagaya Station. I ordered the all-you-can-eat option along with a single order of draft beer. I only had one beer because I didn't want to eat too much. I enjoyed mainly the harami (skirt steak), side dishes, and dessert. Thank you for the meal!

I came to Gyu-Kaku with an empty stomach. Today, I decided to eat a lot and had plenty of kalbi. Gyu-Kaku never disappoints with its reliable taste. The sauce is soaked in and delicious. Yakiniku (grilled meat) energizes people. Yakiniku with rice is the best!! Yakiniku dates are always fun.

I think there are several all-you-can-eat restaurants in Hatagaya, but I really think the meat at Gyu-Kaku is delicious! They have a wide variety of options, and it's easy to go there alone. I remember there were quite a few counter seats, and they also offer a wide range of drinks. It's like heaven for enjoying alone. However, I felt the interior was a bit cramped when going with friends or family.

The chain restaurant Tsukimi Kalbi serves delicious grilled kalbi that is enjoyed by dipping it in egg yolk.

I got a 1000 yen discount coupon for Gyu-Kaku at the supermarket, so I visited the Gyu-Kaku restaurant in Hatsudai. It's a bit of a walk from Hatsudai Station, next to Hatsudai Opera City. My friend and I ordered the Gyu-Kaku course, all-you-can-eat for 90 minutes for 3480 yen each, and added the all-you-can-drink option for 1580 yen. We also ordered the "Iburi Gakko Cream Cheese" that was featured on TV, which was quite delicious. We kept getting rice refills and ate as much meat as we could. However, we were so focused on eating that we didn't drink much from the all-you-can-drink option, so it didn't feel like we got our money's worth. Although we felt like we got a good deal using the discount coupon, we also received a 500 yen service coupon for our next visit. Looking at the restaurant's page on Tabelog, we found even more coupons that offer better deals. Next time, we'll make a reservation using a coupon from Tabelog.

I stopped by after visiting Tokyo Opera City in Hatsudai with my friends. There were three types of all-you-can-eat courses, and I chose the Gyu-Kaku course. I just kept eating... ate too much and ended up feeling sick haha but it was really delicious!! The black garlic peatloaf, kalbi, and tongue were all very tasty. For dessert, I chose the cream puff ice cream from about six options. It was a rare experience to eat ice cream in winter, but it was good.

We went out for drinks after work. There were 9 of us, so I was worried if there would be enough seats for a large group, but there were both table seats and tatami rooms, so the facilities were sufficient. We ordered a family set of meat including tongue and pork belly, which allowed us to enjoy a variety of meats. We also ordered bibimbap and cold noodles. The meat was reasonably priced and delicious. The beer I had was cold and the portion was generous. It was a fun time enjoying yakiniku with a big group. The fact that it's close to the station was also convenient, so I plan to visit again next time.

We came to Gyu-Kaku for dinner with the children for the first time as per their request. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a building just outside the north exit of Hatsudai Station. The place was quite crowded with counter and table seats available. The meat we ordered, such as the chuck flap tail, domestic black beef harami, aged skirt, and thick-cut tongue, was nothing special. The children preferred the yakiniku restaurant we usually visit. Especially, the rice was not delicious. If the rice is not tasty, it is inconvenient for those who cannot drink alcohol, and for children. The portion was large, so we hope they can use delicious rice and serve smaller portions.

On a winter evening, a regular meeting was held on the upper floors of Opera City in Hatsudai. As the meeting came to an end, the high-rise buildings of Nishi-Shinjuku visible from the window shone brightly in the evening darkness. While admiring the night view, a colleague (referred to as J) suggested, "How about going for some fancy yakiniku for a change?" Naturally, intrigued by the idea of something fancy, the image of the top floor restaurant 'Jojoen' came to mind, but instead, they ended up at 'Gyukaku' in front of Hatsudai Station next to Opera City. Feeling a bit disappointed, they entered the restaurant, only to find a long wait due to prior reservations. Eventually, they decided to explore the area a bit more and ended up returning to 'Gyukaku'. To their surprise, they discovered a magical half-price deal on beer and various menu items. With the help of J's magical card, they enjoyed discounted drinks and food, including a special salt seasoning that added flavor to their meal. As they wrapped up their meal and settled the bill, they reflected on the pleasant experience at the restaurant. Overall, they found 'Gyukaku' in Hatsudai to be a lively and welcoming place, with friendly staff and good service.

Located in front of Hatsudai Station, next to the Opera City, this restaurant had a good location but was a bit empty due to the lack of foot traffic in the area. I was in the mood for some meat that day and didn't want to go too far, so I decided to visit this nearby chain restaurant. The taste was nothing special compared to other branches, but it was still delicious. However, if I'm going to pay the same price, I'd rather go to one of the many other delicious yakiniku or yakitori restaurants nearby. Everyone has their own preferences, so I don't think I'll be coming back here again.

I used to frequent the Shimokitazawa branch in the past, so I visited with that impression in mind. I ordered the premium kalbi, premium tongue salt, premium harami, and premium loin, but it seems like the quality of the meat has significantly declined compared to before. Especially the tongue was terrible. The only decent one was the kalbi. I wonder what happened? And it's not even particularly cheap. Also, the delivery time from ordering is too long. With this kind of content... it might be difficult to differentiate from a privately owned yakiniku restaurant. It seems like smoking is allowed in all seats.

I went on May 21st. The place is located just to the right of the north exit of Hatagaya from Keio New Line Hatsudai Station. After going up the stairs of the station and coming out to the ground, it's about 10 steps to the entrance of the store building. The interior of the store is not as narrow as some other Gyu-Kaku locations I've been to. The prices have gone up slightly compared to the past, but it's still a budget that doesn't differ much from an izakaya even if you eat until you're full at this price, so you can easily go when you want to eat meat. The interior of the store is small, but the enclosed seats allow you to enjoy yakiniku without being too bothered by the voices around you, so it's not a problem to go with a small group.

Due to its proximity to my home, I use this place quite often. It is very convenient as it is located near Hatagaya Station (right in front of the station entrance). It's really great to be able to enjoy yakiniku at such a low price. The taste may not be top-notch like wagyu beef, but when you just want to eat a lot of yakiniku, it's quite useful. The best part is being able to eat to your heart's content without worrying about your wallet. However, don't underestimate it, the kimchi at Gyu-Kaku is amazing. Even though it is also sold in supermarkets, I'm not a fan of the sour kimchi from Korea, so I love the Japanese-style kimchi. The kimchi at Gyu-Kaku is slightly spicy and mild, with an indescribable deliciousness. It's great that you can buy kimchi at the supermarket without having to go to the restaurant.
