Highly recommended wood-fired oven-baked pudding by followers, however, visited for the first time to try the pizza. Located on the side street of Asakusa Hisago Street, this place opened on November 19 last year. It is located on the 1st floor of a hotel and opens at 11 am for lunch. When making a lunch reservation, they mention "bicycles are not allowed for entry," so I parked at a nearby bicycle parking lot and walked there. Perhaps this is due to being located within the hotel. For lunch, I chose the Marinara and Carbonara pizzas. Both were delicious wood-fired oven-baked pizzas with a simple pasta with cheese and pepper.

(Asakusa/Kuramae Pudding Collection 61st Edition) You can enjoy puddings and carbonara made with the "Arrowana" happiness blue egg at this cozy Italian restaurant located on the 1st floor of a concept hotel where you can experience glamping in your room. When I arrived around 2:30 pm on a weekday, the staff was about to put up the closed sign. I asked, "Are you closing?" and they explained that they have an "idol time" break from 2 pm to 5 pm, but since they didn't have any plans to go out that day, they let me in. Thank you! The lights in the restaurant were dim because they were turned off. Normally, they serve lunch from 11 am to 2 pm, have an idol time break from 2 pm to 5 pm, and dinner from 5 pm to 11 pm, so be careful if you want to have tea there! I sat at the counter and ordered the happiness egg and cream pudding (600 yen) and a coffee (400 yen). The coffee came out quickly from the machine. The sugar and milk containers were cute. The pudding was quite tall, as they bake it in a wood-fired pizza oven at high temperatures, which takes some time to cook through, making it a bit soft. It jiggled as I touched it. The egg flavor was strong, with a mild sweetness, and it was delicious. The cream served with it had mascarpone mixed in, giving it a rich texture. It had a hint of strawberry flavor, resembling a cheesecake, and it was tasty. They mentioned that the strawberry was complimentary because Christmas was approaching. Thank you again. I had a pleasant afternoon coffee time, chatting with the dapper, handsome chef about why he chose to open a restaurant in Asakusa and the challenges of opening during the pandemic. I left the restaurant, promising to visit at night next time since I love alcohol. I then went for a walk in Asakusa, where there were still few people due to the pandemic. (Winter 2022) Near Hanayashiki. Located on the 1st floor of Glamping Tokyo Asakusa (formerly TIME SHARING STAY Asakusa). It's about a 9-minute walk from Kaminarimon. The Frutas Parlor Gotou on Hisago Street is also nearby. -----------------------※This is part of the Down Town Nineche Asakusa/Kuramae Pudding Collection. For reference.

I want to eat pasta! My wife suggested a place we haven't been to before, so we decided to give it a try. When we arrived at the restaurant, I realized that I had actually been here before! It was located on the first floor of a youth hostel-like accommodation. In the back, there were foreigners having a meeting while enjoying tea. The restaurant had a casual yet stylish atmosphere. After us, a trendy young couple came in - it seemed like a great place for a date. The service was quick, friendly, and spot-on. The carbonara was delicious, with a creative presentation and classic flavor. The fresh fettuccine was also tasty, seemingly hand-made. The pasta with shirasu (small fish) in oil... it was mind-blowing! It was so delicious! I lack the words to describe it, but it was the best pasta I've ever had! The Margherita pizza was also top-notch, from the dough to the toppings. We enjoyed it with a glass of white wine and it was pure bliss. We will definitely be back. The total cost for two people was 6,000 yen.

On the first day of the Golden Week holiday, I asked my child, "Do you want to go to the aquarium or somewhere else?" and they said, "I want to go to the Italian restaurant in Asakusa!" This was our third visit. It's within cycling distance, which is convenient.
First, I made a phone reservation. The person on the phone kindly booked a table for two at 1:00 PM.
When we arrived, the restaurant was full, but they had two seats available at the counter. Thank you for that. We made sure to eat well.
They served us a detox water with strawberries, which was very stylish.
We ordered meatballs and Margherita salad, both of which were delicious. The pizza, in particular, had a nice chewy crust.
We also had two beers and left very satisfied. My child was happy too, so it was a great experience.

It may be a bit hard to find, but once you step inside and take a seat, you'll feel very relaxed and comfortable. The food and wine are delicious! They are willing to accommodate your preferences, so you can request dishes you like or discuss your budget. I ordered a tomato-based pasta and was surprised to see a dish with lots of meat, but the tomato sauce was actually light and flavorful with the richness of cooked onions and vegetables. The meat was substantial and full of flavor, made from high-quality steak cuts. Even after finishing the plate, I wanted more because it was so tasty! The restaurant has limited seating, so it's better to make a reservation. If you're looking for a cozy Italian restaurant in Asakusa, I highly recommend this place.

On a Sunday afternoon, I decided to go out for lunch with my child. When I asked, "What do you want to eat?" the response was, "I want to go to a restaurant in Asakusa again!" So, we headed to an Italian restaurant called "La Casa" in Asakusa around 2:00 PM. It was relatively empty at that time. We sat on low chairs at the counter and started with a glass of sparkling wine (which was so delicious that we ended up ordering a bottle). The marinated seafood with fresh shrimp and olives was a perfect match for the sparkling wine. The ingredients are sourced from the market, so everything is fresh and tasty. The Margherita pizza had a chewy crust and delicious cheese. For dessert, we had tiramisu with strawberries, which made my child very happy. It was a great experience, and we definitely want to come back again.

At the end of the year, I took my child to visit Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa around 2:00 PM. While on our way to pay our respects, we started to feel a little hungry and I also wanted to have a drink, but it seemed difficult to enter the izakayas on the drinking street with my child. As I pondered what to do, I happened to come across a brand new restaurant by taking a back alley. It was an Italian restaurant. It looked like the entrance of a hotel with exposed concrete walls and stylish paintings hanging. I could see families inside through the glass, so I thought it would be okay to go in there. It was my first visit to this restaurant, and the chef who seemed to be the owner and the young lady in the hall were very friendly. They recommended the Margherita and Carbonara, so I ordered them. Since it was their last business day of the year, they kindly served us sparkling wine as a service, which made me very happy. The restaurant seemed very clean as it had just recently opened. After waiting for about 5 minutes, the chef brought out some Polpette (Italian meatballs) as a service. The Polpette was juicy and very delicious! Then, the Margherita pizza was also delicious with a chewy crust and a fragrant wheat aroma. The Carbonara pasta was also made in the restaurant and was very delicious with a rich sauce. The chef even cracked an egg yolk right in front of us and mixed it in, which was a nice touch. Although it was a small restaurant, you could see their determination to do their best and it was very pleasant. I hope they continue to work hard. I would like to visit this restaurant again.

I heard about this place from a friend and decided to visit. It was a bit tricky to find the restaurant, like a little maze in Asakusa! I asked for light dishes for my mom who isn't a fan of olive oil. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I found out about a new Italian restaurant and decided to try it for lunch. The restaurant is called La Casa Asakusa and is located on the first floor of a hostel that offers timeshare stays. They have a small pizza oven where the chef cooks, and they also offer grilled dishes cooked in the oven. I asked the chef whether I should go for pizza or pasta, and he recommended the Carbonara, so I ordered the Carbonara with fresh pasta made from scratch (1300 yen including tax). A salad was served first, with delicious balsamic dressing. The chef started making the fresh Tagliatelle using a pasta machine. However, I noticed that they were cooking on portable gas stoves, which seemed a bit chaotic considering the restaurant had just opened. Another foreign customer arrived and started ordering from the dinner menu, which seemed to add to the chef's stress as he wasn't very fluent in English. When the Carbonara arrived, it was generously topped with Pecorino cheese. The taste was not bad, but the texture was off as the egg was partially cooked, resembling scrambled eggs in some parts. It was disappointing as the Carbonara lacked the usual creamy texture. The taste was decent, but it was not what I expected after the chef had recommended it. It seemed like the eggs were not properly tempered or the temperature control on the portable stoves was not ideal. It was a shame, especially considering the attention to detail in their ingredients.
