Today, let's have a blast again. Feel free to leave comments. It will be encouraging. I visited Chinpuuten Ebisu, located a 3-minute walk from Ebisu Station in Shibuya, Tokyo. This Chinpuuten is a unique name that may be difficult for Japanese people to use. The name implies "It's different from otaku," so it must have a special meaning. There were young people, so we ordered the all-you-can-drink course for 6,500 yen including tax. As we were a group of 5, we also ordered additional items, totaling 38,650 yen. This averages out to 7,730 yen per person. We ordered the standard course all-you-can-drink for 6,500 yen including tax. However, we overlooked the 350 yen "seating fee" per person, so the actual payment was 6,850 yen. In other words, it's closer to 7,000 yen. This additional fee is quite significant. It would be better if they clearly stated that the 350 yen seating fee is charged to everyone, making it 6,850 yen including tax. The elevator takes you to the emergency stairs, where you enter the restaurant. The 6,500 yen (actually 6,850 yen) course includes: 2 hours of all-you-can-drink, appetizers for 5 people, famous steamed dumplings, shrimp dumplings, leek dumplings, radish cakes, spring rolls, water spinach, and burnt onion soba to share. While the portions are small, they are quite filling due to the texture. The xiaolongbao and dumplings were average, but the spring rolls were delicious. It's difficult to find a 5,000 yen all-you-can-drink deal in Ebisu, so 6,850 yen for 2 hours of all-you-can-drink is not the best value. Thank you.
