About 20 years ago, I stopped by this restaurant for lunch while on my way to work, and this is my second visit since then. It's a long-standing establishment. On this day, my friend and I were originally planning to have a long chat at a izakaya in Nakajuku, but we were impressed by the generous portions of the dishes and ended up getting full quickly. We decided to take a walk from Nakajuku to Itabashijuku to give our stomachs some time to digest and found ourselves at this place. We ordered Indian beer (Kingfisher) each, cauliflower and potato curry with naan, and cheese kulcha that looked delicious. Walking here and eating helped settle our stomachs and create some space. I've always loved cauliflower curry, and the curry here, with added potatoes, was flavorful without being too spicy, and it paired well with the Indian beer. The cheese kulcha had finely chopped red and green bell peppers on top, adding a nice touch to the dish. As we left the restaurant, my friend and I agreed that we wanted to try more of the enticing menu items next time, and we promised to start our evening here next time. The staff saw us off with smiles, and their friendliness, combined with the good food, made me want to come back again. Thank you for the meal. I'll be back.

Friday lunch outside. It was hot this day too~ ( ´Д`) Went to "Bombay Palace" after a long time. Noticed they added more biryani dishes to the menu. Had to try the biryani since it's been a while. Asked if the biryani here is cooked or fried, and was told it's like fried rice. Started with potato vegetable soup and salad. The mutton biryani that came with curry soup looked like it was cooked together. Also had bone-in chicken on the side, quite a luxurious touch. The mutton had chunky pieces hidden at the bottom, and it was tender and tasty without any gamey smell. The rice was moist and went well on its own or with the curry. Despite the generous portion, it was so delicious I finished it all. The owner came over and asked if I like mutton, then gave me some chai saying mutton can be hit or miss but it was tasty. Both this place and Akasu on Tuesday had great service, Indian restaurants are really stepping up their game. (Mimesamurai)

The Bron Macaroni (shrimp and tomato sauce) and chicken taste almost the same, with only the filling being different, so it might be better not to order them together. The mutton was delicious with bones still in it. The staff were all friendly. It was very disappointing that the naan was cold.

After visiting the Enmei Enoki in Itabashi, I tried this Indian curry recommended by a friend, which had spinach curry topped with white cheese and it was really delicious! I also ordered the seafood curry and mutton curry for myself, which were also delicious, but the spinach curry that my friend ordered was the best. I ordered rice for myself and it came in a huge portion like a mountain in a bowl, which made me burst out laughing! The mango lassi recommended by the staff was also delicious, even for someone like me who doesn't usually like coconut or mango. It was rich but not artificially sweet. I still miss it.

I went to dinner with a friend and they requested curry, so we ended up at this restaurant that we've been to many times before. We ordered the dinner set with mutton masala and spinach curry. The butter chicken was too sweet, almost like ketchup, and the seafood curry used a seafood mix that you can buy at the supermarket. I definitely recommend not ordering that. It's a shame that this restaurant doesn't have biryani, but it's still worth a visit.

I like well-cooked naan. This street-side restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to enter. It's a lively place, and you can tell even before entering. The ordering process is quick and efficient, which is appreciated. I also ordered some for takeout, and they prepared it just as I finished dining in the restaurant.

I ordered a dinner set that comes with two types of curry, chicken, salad, dessert, and naan. I also had an extra serving of naan and added cheese garlic naan, so I ended up feeling very full. They offer a wide variety of curry options, and you can choose the level of spiciness from mild to super hot on a scale of 5.

I always rely on this curry restaurant. Today, I ordered the daily curry (vegetables and chicken) with medium spiciness, along with naan and rice. It was the Maharaja course for 800 yen. The soup was a flavorful corn soup with a hint of saltiness. The slightly sweet cabbage salad with Southern Island dressing was addictive. The main dish was the usual flavorful curry you would find in India, with chicken, potatoes, green beans, and other good tastes. The naan was delicious, and the saffron rice was plentiful. You can actually get refills on the curry, naan, and rice. Lastly, I enjoyed a warm, sweet masala chai. It was a comforting time. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back again.

I had a job in Itabashi and was planning to go to Sengoku for lunch, but by 12:10, I could already see a line outside, so I decided to try the Indian restaurant next door. The place was spacious, and they were kind enough to let me sit at a table for four even though I was alone. When I arrived, there was no wait, but by 12:30, there was already a line forming. It seems to be quite popular.
I was interested in the Seekh Kebab Set, but since I didn't know when it would be served, I opted for the Thali Set (850 yen) instead. It came with soup, salad, and chai. It was a great deal. The soup was a creamy potato soup with a hint of seafood flavor. For the curry, I chose the Prawn Makani and Mutton Masala. You can choose the level of spiciness, and I went for super hot. I ordered naan and chai (iced) to go with my meal.
The food was served in about 10 minutes, and both dishes were spicy and delicious. The mutton came with four bone-in pieces that were very tasty. The Prawn Makani had a refreshing fruity taste with a tomato base. It was a bit surprising how tomatoey it was, but it paired well with the mutton and was quite addictive.
The restaurant is located in a somewhat inconvenient spot, but it's only about a 10-minute walk from Itabashi Station, Itabashi City Hall, and Shin-Itabashi Station. If I have work in Itabashi again, I would definitely consider coming back here.

Just a 5-minute walk from the Tobu Tojo Line's Itabashi-ku Yakushomae Station towards Shimo-Itabashi Station on the old Nakasendo Road. Inside the restaurant, there are table seats on the right side, with 2-3 groups of customers on weekdays at 8 pm. I looked at the menu and ordered the pair course for 4500 yen. It includes salad, tandoori dishes, 2 curries, 2 drinks, naan, and it's a great deal. The Indian beer, which is from the UK, has an elegant taste. The spicy mutton and tandoori chicken go well with the beer. The mutton palak (mutton and spinach) and chicken masala curries, along with a huge naan, are served. We also had 1.5 bottles of Chardonnay from Chile. When we couldn't finish the curry and naan, they kindly packed them in aluminum foil and cups for us. The next day, we reheated the naan and curry, and the curry that had been left for a day was even more delicious. This is a great restaurant for authentic Indian cuisine.

This is the largest and cleanest Indian restaurant in the area with beautiful decorations. I love the level of spiciness here and crave it regularly. I like medium to hot spiciness. I ordered Chicken Biryani with medium spiciness. The rice was fluffy and the slightly spicy taste from the spices was addictive. The curry soup was also delicious. My friend ordered Butter Chicken with hot spiciness and Naan. I had never ordered Butter Chicken before because I thought it would be sweet, but when I ordered it hot, it was actually spicy! Spicy Butter Chicken is really good! Spicy Indian curry is delicious in the summer. They quickly refill your water and even gave us some chai as a service, which was a nice touch. I felt relieved after having something slightly sweet at the end. I will definitely come back to eat here again soon!

I always go for lunch because dinner would cost four digits. Today's dishes were served in ceramic bowls for some reason. I had the Maharaja set (mutton masala dish) with soup, salad, chai, and two pieces of naan. The spiciness level was very hot, but it was delicious.

I couldn't find my favorite butter chicken curry on the lunch menu, so I had chicken masala instead. It was delicious with just the right amount of spiciness and flavor.

The atmosphere of the delicious authentic curry restaurant was clean and nice, and the food was also delicious. There are few curry shops in Itabashi, so I recommend it!

Today's lunch was at "Bombay Palace." Not many people may know that this place used to be a Mos Burger in the past. I used to frequent Mos Burger back in the day, and even after it became Bombay Palace, I would visit occasionally. However, I haven't been here in about ten years. There has been a surprising increase in Indian and Nepalese restaurants in Itabashi, so I guess that's why. Bombay Palace was almost full during lunchtime. I opted for the Thali set where you can choose two curries. I chose the Vegetable Jalfrezi and Mutton Masala. You can have unlimited refills of rice, naan, and curry, with the curry changing daily for refills. I intentionally skipped the daily special for my order. I chose the "Very Hot" spiciness level. I ordered naan instead of rice. The Thali set also came with a cream of vegetable soup, which had a rich texture and felt nostalgic. The Vegetable Jalfrezi had a variety of large cut vegetables, including my favorite daikon. However, I prefer vegetable curries to be a bit lighter. The Mutton Masala had tender, bone-in, slightly larger pieces of lamb that were delicious and not gamey. The naan, a rare sight for me these days, was the type I like - not too sweet and slightly crispy. Unfortunately, the curry and naan didn't pair well, so I ate them separately. I used the naan to clean the plate. I had a refill of curry, which was a spinach, eggplant, and chicken curry. It had a light soup-like consistency and the soft chicken and spinach were a perfect combination. It was the most delicious of the three I had that day, making me a bit sad because it's a daily special, meaning I might not be able to have it next time I visit. But it was really tasty. I drank a chai after the meal, which had a subtle ginger fragrance. It was a delicious meal at Bombay Palace after a long time.
