Near Akasaka Station on the Chiyoda Line is Gen Yoshikioan. I received a gift of chestnut-centered souvenirs for autumn. The La France mousse, made with domestic La France pears, is smooth and delicious. An Torori is a combination of small rice cakes and sweet bean paste. The chestnut kanoko has a deep chestnut flavor. The chestnut pudding is also delicious! Enjoying these treats!Instagram ID: kuidaore.8.

The Natural Series offers luxurious Japanese sweets made with seasonal fruits. I have tried the "Land's Treasure" made with muscat grapes, but this time I tried the "Aurora Black" and "Shion" made with grapes from Okayama. Each piece contains a whole seedless grape surrounded by a thin layer of sweetened mochi. It is a sophisticated treat that is only available for a limited time. It was absolutely delicious.

Satisfy your taste buds with the delicious Muscat jelly from Genkizouan, where you can fully enjoy the summer flavor in each bite of this fresh jelly. It's convenient to eat as it comes in bite-sized portions. I bought it at the store because it's so delicious.

Even as an old man, I tend to avoid traditional Japanese sweets due to their outdated image, but this place is exceptional. Instead of being for gifts, I want to stop by for myself. This shop is full of innovative spirit, with a variety of new products using fruits in traditional Japanese sweets. I look forward to visiting as it is always a pleasure.

When it comes to autumn flavors, persimmons are a must-try. This jelly fully captures the sweetness and deliciousness of persimmons, allowing you to truly taste the freshness of the fruit. It's a very delicious jelly that would make a great gift. The sweetness of the jelly is subtle and elegant, making it very tasty. This shop occasionally buys gifts or treats for themselves, and there are many delicious jellies available.

I bought some Japanese sweets at a shop in Akasaka. The shop is calm and beautiful, and it seems like it opened at the beginning of this year. Inside the shop, there are multiple shelves displaying individually packed Japanese sweets with samples on display. You can choose your favorites with a basket and then pay at the counter. They also offer assorted gift sets, which is convenient. I selected three sweets: Yama-Momiji, Shimizu-Kage, and Yuzu-Ka. Yama-Momiji is a half-moon shaped sweet with sweet bean paste and red bean paste wrapped in mochi, topped with maple leaf-shaped yokan. Shimizu-Kage is a yokan with bracken rice cake inside, with a smooth texture and just the right amount of sweetness. Yuzu-Ka is a yuzu-flavored yokan with a strong citrus aroma and a subtle sweetness. There is also a sweet called Suikan Shuku, which is shaped like a dried persimmon. It has white bean paste in the center, wrapped in dried persimmon, and coated with yokan. The dried persimmon is excellent.

My favorite is the sweet treat where each muscat grape is wrapped in mochi. You can buy them individually, but the ones neatly packed in a box are perfect for gifts. It's also a hit with women.

On the way from Akasaka Sacas to Hie Shrine, I found a small traditional Japanese sweets shop with a width of about 1.5 tatami mats. The shop was filled with cute Hina dolls and various adorable sweets. I ended up buying the "Hina Asobi" set, which had three colored water sweets shaped like diamond-shaped rice cakes. The peach fruit inside the sweets provided a refreshing and gentle taste. The "Sakura Hana Shigure" with sakura bean paste and egg yolk was also delicious with a perfect crumbly texture and a subtle sweetness. There were many other seasonal sweets to enjoy, so it might be nice to try a few different ones during the season.

This is the Akasaka store of the main store Genkichi Kyoan, located on Akasaka Street. Genkichi Kyoan has its main stores in Okayama, Kamakura, and Ginza, with a wide range of products sold in department stores nationwide and overseas. They offer high-quality creative Japanese sweets made with seasonal fruits, as well as rice crackers. The location used to be the Akasaka main store of "Akasaka Komeka Akasaka Main Store" last year, and before that, it was "Genkichi Kyoan". It seems to have returned again. I visited in the afternoon. Genkichi Kyoan's products were all available. They also had a good selection of rice cracker products. The items I purchased are as follows (prices are excluding tax). ● Suikan Shu (620 yen) - A seasonal sweet made by stuffing dried persimmons with white bean paste. The dried persimmons use Iida persimmons from Nagano Prefecture. The sweetness of the persimmons and the white bean paste is elegant. [Ingredients] Dried persimmons, sugar, white beans, white bean paste, water candy, red beans, starch-processed products, agar, red wine, trehalose, gelling agent (thickening polysaccharide), seasonings (amino acids, etc.), antioxidant (sulfur dioxide). It is convenient for preparing souvenirs, etc.

I received a souvenir from this place. The sweets here often use seasonal fruits, so you can taste the season in both appearance and flavor, which I think is nice. This time, I received a sweet called "Kichisho Plum", which had a subtle sourness and was delicious.
