This time, I visited "Wakiya Gaihousharou" in Akasaka. It is located in a back street of Akasaka and feels like a hidden gem. Each dish was carefully prepared and all of them were exquisite, but the shark fin dish was especially delicious. The tableware was stylish, and the presentation of the dishes was vibrant and luxurious. It was a great experience to enjoy a variety of dishes little by little. I thought it would be a perfect place for entertaining guests.

I visited Wakiya's 50th anniversary project for the first time and it was very delicious! The Chinese cuisine made by Wakiya was very impressive. By savoring each dish carefully and thinking about the path Wakiya has walked, the food becomes even more delicious! I would like to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The appearance of the restaurant is extremely simple, so you might accidentally pass by it, but the interior has a lovely atmosphere. The paintings and tableware displayed are also beautiful. The 9 kinds of appetizers were cute and delicious, and I was surprised to find shark fin at the end of the course! I thought the shark fin was the finale, but then noodles came out last. (I don't like spicy food, so I chose soy sauce noodles, but you can also choose spicy noodles like tantanmen). It's Chinese cuisine, but it's not heavy, which was nice. Even after eating a lot, I didn't feel weighed down. I'd like to try Tsuru no Maru next time.

I like Chinese restaurants, but it's nice to try something like this once in a while. Had a meal with a work partner. It had an elegant atmosphere. Although it's Chinese cuisine, they also served dishes with asparagus, giving it a Western touch. We finished with their famous tantan noodles and curry. It was a delicious meal. The service was excellent. It seems like a high-end restaurant that you wouldn't visit unless it's for business.

I had lunch at Wakiya, a private room on the 3rd floor of Wakiya Greeting Tea House, located on the 3rd and 4th floors of Turandot Goryu on the back of Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi. I pre-booked the Wakiya-style body-friendly modern Chinese course, especially focusing on incorporating plenty of vegetables. The Wakiya Greeting Tea House Lunch Modern Chinese Course includes: - Seasonal Dish Assortment: A variety of 9 appetizers using seasonal ingredients (pumpkin mousse with walnuts, seasoned tomatoes, jellyfish salad, cabbage salad, tofu salad, sesame tofu, meatballs, braised pork, miso-flavored wheat gluten) - Double Flavor Dim Sum: Today's dim sum wonton soup with crab and rapeseed blossoms - Seasonal Dish Recommendation: 3 recommended dim sum dishes - shrimp xiaolongbao, choy sum steamed dumplings, shrimp steamed dumplings - Seasonal Dish Recommendation: Today's recommended spicy stir-fried shrimp and chicken wings with chili - Kunlun Shark Fin: Shanghai-style stewed shark fin with lettuce, served with freshly cooked rice in a clay pot - Shark fin and rice dish: Shark fin chazuke with freshly cooked rice - Various treasure noodle dishes: Choose between dan dan noodles, tofu spicy dan dan noodles, or soy sauce ramen - Wakiya's delicate sweets: Wakiya special dessert trio - pudding, cheesecake, Chinese tea-flavored steamed cake - Premium fragrant tea: Selected tea with a taste and aroma by Wakiya, with Taiwan's frozen peak oolong tea The main Chinese course in the private room was focused on shark fin dishes. The total cost of the Wakiya Greeting Tea House Lunch Modern Chinese Course + Sparkling Wine was originally 13,694 yen (12,000 yen for food, 1,694 yen for drinks), but with a time sale, it was discounted to 10,800 yen.

I made a reservation from 18:30 on a regular day. I was led to a private room on the 3rd floor, asked about any disliked ingredients, and then the course started. The restaurant had a luxurious atmosphere with beautiful dishes and elegantly arranged food. Despite being Chinese cuisine, the dishes were not too heavy and had an elegant touch. For the final dish, you could choose from three types of ramen, and I chose the dan dan noodles and samgyetang. It was a special time and I was able to enjoy it.

Wakiya Tomoito Chef's restaurant, run by a famous Chinese chef. They offer three types of tantanmen: white sesame (mild), soy milk (mild spicy), and spicy (medium spicy). Although only white sesame and spicy are listed on the lunch menu, I heard great things about the soy milk tantanmen and decided to try it. The chef kindly made the soy milk tantanmen for me. It was delicious, with the perfect balance of Chinese spices and the gentle taste of soy milk, along with the smooth texture of the thin noodles. The modern and luxurious interior adds to the dining experience. I also appreciated the cold tea and dim sum that came with the meal. The lunch here is elegant and enjoyable. It was a delicious bowl of tantanmen for 2400 yen. Thank you for the wonderful meal! 🌟

Dinner at the counter seats on the first floor. The style of being able to try various dishes little by little was delicious. There are also various wines available. You can choose the finale, and multiple choices are okay. The fried rice with chopped bean sprouts is available if you're lucky. It has a crunchy texture and is healthy, which was nice.

I sometimes use this restaurant for banquets. I can often see the owner, who comes around the tables to greet the customers. The Chinese dishes here are not too strong or oily, more like modern Chinese cuisine. They don't provide soy sauce, mustard, vinegar, or chili oil on the table. All the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. Some spicy dishes are served, which I personally enjoy. The specialty shark fin dish is exceptionally tasty, but the sauce is a bit salty, maybe that's why they serve it with white rice. It's a Chinese restaurant that makes me want to visit occasionally.

This year's osechi was also the best. There were kazunoko, shrimp, abalone, crab, and delicious dishes like vinegar-marinated octopus, char siu, sweet pickled plum, chicken, eggs, cashew nuts, roast beef, deliciously spicy marinated shrimp, a large amount of ikura, and everything was delicious.

I have been to this restaurant many times but hadn't written a review on Tabelog yet, so this is my first post! On this day, I went for a Chinese dinner with my friends and we ordered a course menu. The assorted appetizer platter with 8 varieties, the braised shark fin, clay pot rice, the mini mapo tofu rice, and the tantan noodles were particularly delicious. Among them, the signature dish at Wakiya, the braised shark fin, is always something I look forward to! The rich soup with the clay pot rice is truly a delightful taste experience! And for drinks, I always go for Shaoxing wine! Having it hot with a bit of rock sugar added is really delicious! Wakiya may be a bit pricey, but if you don't mind that, I think it's the best Chinese restaurant around!

I heard it's good for the body and visited for lunch. I was guided to a private room and felt elegant. Everything was delicious, but the assorted 9 appetizers were my favorite. The shark fin soup was surprisingly light, which was nice. Indeed, my body feels happy without feeling heavy. I will visit again.

I purchased a delicious osechi from WAKIYA. It was a fantastic Chinese-style osechi that looked very appetizing. The shrimp was delicious, and the spicy crab in chili sauce was also a highlight. Additionally, there were black beans, abalone, shiitake mushrooms, salmon, and more. The ingredients were truly wonderful. It seems like it will last for about 10 days, so I plan to enjoy it slowly over time. There are so many ingredients packed in, so it may take some time to finish it all.

Had dinner at Wakiya restaurant. The first and second floors are casual, while the third and fourth floors offer a luxurious and high-class dining experience. We enjoyed exquisite Chinese cuisine in a private room on the fourth floor. The shark fin soup was a standout, along with the clay pot rice served alongside it. The meal was simply delicious from start to finish. The noodle dishes we chose for our final course were also exceptional. It was truly a fantastic dinner experience.

I visited here for the first time to enjoy the healthy and elegant Chinese cuisine by Wakiya. It was for my parents' birthday celebration. I used Shiseido's "Watashi Plus Beauty Point Program" plan. I always get my skin checked and purchase skincare products at Shiseido stores, so I accumulate points. Now, the course prepared for Watashi Plus members in collaboration with Shiseido is called "Healthy Beauty Menu." It embodies the spirit of "beauty from within through food" and "food as medicine," offering a gentle and healthy Chinese cuisine by Wakiya. The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Akasaka station, in a quiet area with a stylish terrace. We were guided to a private room on the 3rd floor. We arrived a bit early, but the staff was kind. We all gathered, toasted, and started with the course. The seasonal seafood and mountain delicacies appetizer platter was luxurious. The XO sauce was a nice touch. The medicinal clear steamed soup with dried shiitake mushroom was delicious. The handmade dim sum platter had flavorful fillings. The Shanghai-style braised shark fin dish was rich and tasty. The tofu-based dan dan noodles were refreshing. The special mango pudding dessert was served in a birthday version for my parents. We also enjoyed a selection of teas chosen by Wakiya. The course featured collagen and medicinal herbs, creating a harmonious blend of the five flavors. It was a guilt-free meal, despite the increase in body weight. I used a ticket from my points, but the bill was a bit higher due to additional drinks. I made sure to visit a Shiseido store after lunch to express my gratitude.

I had a delicious meal at WAKIYA. The appetizers like simmered pork belly, jellyfish, and Cantonese char siu were excellent. The mouth-watering roast duck, shrimp and chicken dish, and incredibly delicious shark fin soup were amazing. Lastly, I enjoyed the curry rice and tantanmen. It was fantastic.

This time, I visited a restaurant that collaborated with ingredients from Oita Prefecture. The soup dishes were particularly delicious as always! The turtle soup had turtle inside the white dumplings, and the combination of the soft mochi and thick broth made the flavor even better. The last dish, tofu dandan noodles, was so delicious that I drank up all the soup! I often come here for lunch, but it was nice to be able to enjoy a leisurely dinner this time.

I went to the creative Chinese restaurant WAKIYA. The shark fin dish here is incredibly delicious. The Ojiya-style dish with rice is also exquisite, it makes you want to eat it all by itself! I love the cozy atmosphere of a hidden gem tea house, but this place has a luxurious feel, perfect for entertaining guests. Downstairs, you can enjoy delicious food at Turandot Garyu Kyo, but upstairs, there are beautifully decorated private rooms. It's a blissful experience to enjoy top-notch creative Chinese cuisine in such a lavish setting. Everything is perfect.

Today, the Chinese cuisine at WAKIYA was delicious. We started with appetizers - octopus sashimi and salad, which were tasty. The salad was like a carpaccio with raw fish and greens. The soup was also delicious, especially the large asparagus which was very flavorful. The highlight was the large shark fin soup, which was incredibly tasty. We drizzled it with black vinegar and it was very delicious. Lastly, we had curry rice and delicious tantan noodles. They were both very tasty.

I went to WAKIYA in Akasaka, Tokyo for a business dinner. The course menu cost 17,000 yen plus drinks, making it 23,000 yen per person. The most impressive dish was the asparagus steak, where you mix the egg yolk and enjoy the crunchy texture. The super thick and rich shark fin soup was also delicious. As a finale, we had a rich beef curry, spicy tantanmen noodles, and soy milk tantanmen noodles in mini sizes, all of which were incredibly tasty!
