A little away from Higashi-Murayama Station is the lively CLUB. It not only functions as a net cafe, but also offers karaoke, darts, and billiards - making it a place packed with all kinds of entertainment. What's amazing about this store is that during morning hours, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat toast. While other CLUBs also offer toast for morning service, the fact that it's all-you-can-eat is quite impressive. Another impressive feature is the coffee machine at the drink bar, which brews a blend coffee created in collaboration between Key Coffee and CLUB. The quality of the coffee was surprisingly good for a net cafe machine. And of course, there's the reliable soft serve ice cream. Satisfied.

After enjoying a spa at Grimm Kan, I wanted to read some manga, so I headed to this place called Kaikatsu CLUB, which I often see on Google Maps but had never visited before. I arrived at 3:50 PM and the entrance fee was 324 yen. The registration process was done on a tablet. Oh, they automatically apply pack fees based on the duration of use! It's a clear pricing system. I chose a reclining seat even though there were full flat seats available. The explanation from the receptionist was very kind and helpful. I headed to the drink corner and was pleasantly surprised to find soft-serve ice cream! I had a bad experience with soft-serve in Hachioji, so I was determined to get my revenge in Higashimurayama! The ice cream turned out to be worse than before, though. The texture was too firm. The variety of drinks was impressive, and the clientele seemed nice. I even saw a well-dressed elderly couple. I read through "Today's Hitman" and "Suicide Island," as well as the latest volumes of "Historie" and "ALL OUT," and then checked out the food menu on the PC. I couldn't resist ordering the omelette rice, even though I hadn't planned on it. The omelette rice was quickly prepared and had a thin omelette wrapping with a closed edge. The rice was piping hot and the sauce on top was more like a meat sauce than ketchup. It seemed like it was borrowed from the pasta menu. The flavor was slightly sweet and onion-like. I quietly finished my meal in the peaceful atmosphere. I spent the rest of the time reading manga and enjoying the quiet ambiance. Unfortunately, there was a mysterious power outage, and the lights in the entire floor went out, leading to an early departure despite the 6-hour pack I had paid for. It was a shame that the clear pricing system worked against me this time. I wish I could have stayed longer.
