Lunch on November 25, 2020. This is a review of the main store in Ginza Rokuchome. I was searching for the main store, but ended up at the main store in the Ginza Kanematsu Building. It would be nice if Tabelog could block access to reviews of closed restaurants. I apologize. Regarding the title image, when you look at it, you can see that the container with soup in it is "Wow, it's from Jingdezhen," so I made it the title. This porcelain is known for its use of cobalt blue, called underglaze blue. Of course, this is a famous restaurant, but what I felt was the recommended medicinal soup and its container. Of course, the mapo tofu was delicious, but the medicinal soup is recommended. It was a bit late, so I didn't order from the lunch menu, but the food in the photo. Somehow, when my artistic sensibility is heightened, everything tastes delicious. The dragon design from Jingdezhen reminded me of the dragon from the I Ching that I liked, the tools at the station, and the interpretation book by Wang Bi that I read when I was young. If you like porcelain, Chinese philosophy, or fortune-telling, this place might be good for you. The restroom is clean, and they sell the medicinal soup as a souvenir. I can read the I Ching, but I can't predict the future. Just as deriving the hexagrams is different from predicting, cooking and eating are different. Cooking is tough, but if it's delicious and healthy, even an amateur like me can enjoy eating it. Highly recommended. The location is on Chuo-dori, straight towards Shinbashi, in the building of Kaiseki Michiba-san.

Shinfu's elegant medicinal Chinese cuisine ⭐️ As the fatigue of the scorching heat starts to show, I was drawn in after reading the reviewer's ⭐️ review ✨ Ginza Six, across from the Kanematsu Building, 6th floor. I visit Hoshifuku once a month, or sometimes twice a month. I have been coming here regularly for over a year now. I absolutely love the 2,200 yen lunch at this location in Ginza. It includes a medicinal soup, daikon mochi, a choice of main dish from seven options, white rice or congee (I recommend the congee, it's Chinese-style), almond jelly dessert, and chrysanthemum tea. The first thing that always impresses my guests, whether they are tired or energetic, is the medicinal soup. It feels like it's taking care of your body, and everyone is always delighted after the first sip. The daikon mochi is also flavorful and satisfying. I always choose the sweet and sour pork with black vinegar as my main dish, which never fails to impress. My friends and guests who have seen it on social media always joke about how it looks the same every time, but the taste and menu are so captivating that they end up bringing their family members to try it as well. The shrimp and eggplant in bean sauce, as well as the seafood stir-fry, are also tempting options, so I always have a hard time choosing. The evening courses and higher-tier lunch options are also fantastic, so I highly recommend visiting if you're feeling tired this summer.

I checked the course contents on Tabelog and made a reservation, but they left out the silver cod with sansho pepper that was supposed to be included. When I asked about it, they just pointed to a sign saying that the course contents and number of dishes may change depending on the season and availability of ingredients. The service attitude is bad, no wonder the restaurant is empty. And the draft beer tastes bad.

I visited with my daughter who wanted to eat something good for her body and delicious. We had reserved a course in advance and all the dishes were delicious and full of flavor. As it was a weekday, the restaurant was not crowded, allowing us to have a leisurely conversation about work and love stories that we don't usually have time for. After the meal, we continued our love talk at our favorite Komatsu bar. We will visit again.

Saturday lunch was not crowded, making it a great choice for a business meeting. We tried the lunch herbal course for 3,850 yen, which included a choice of shark fin soup and fried rice with a moderate portion size. Each dish was delicious, and we left feeling satisfied.

We had a great time at a favorite herbal cuisine restaurant, using a private room for 11 people. The round table allowed us to enjoy both the meal and the conversation. It was a fun lunchtime as we hadn't been able to gather much due to Corona. The herbal soup made our bodies warm, and we enjoyed various dishes little by little, ending with dessert when we were full.

The menu includes information on the health benefits of each dish, such as steamed spiny lobster and xiaolongbao, and the final meal, which can be chosen from 7 options, was well-received. The course is relatively affordable, so I think it offers good value for money.

Ginza Station 4-minute walk lunch course [Fuku] 5500 yen (tax included) 1. Assorted 3 types of appetizers 2. Shark fin soup 3. Xiao Long Bao 4. Shrimp and enoki mushroom seaweed tempura 5. Mapo eggplant 6. Fried rice 7. Almond tofu The portion size of each dish was small, but there were many dishes, so I felt full. The private room was convenient to use. The food was delicious, but it was disappointing that there were many flies flying around.

During the lunch break, I went out with a friend for a quick lunch. We tried the signature herbal soup, which was gentle and flavorful, something I don't usually have. It warmed me up from the inside. I could just have a bowl of this soup alone. The daikon mochi, broccoli and seafood stir-fry, and plain congee were decent. The almond jelly dessert was delicious. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, but the food was served with quite a delay at our table. Luckily, my friend and I were in no rush. Thank you for the meal!

After going to the gym, I felt like eating Chinese medicinal cuisine, so I stopped by this place since it was nearby. I ordered the course and enjoyed it following the flow. Overall, the flavors are gentle but well-seasoned, satisfying. They also cooked the hot pot at a separate table and served it, making it easy for us (laughs). It's mild but filling, and my stomach was satisfied.

I enjoyed an elegant lunch in a spacious and quiet setting. It was difficult to find a quiet restaurant at a reasonable price, but this hidden gem is now certified! I opted for the most casual lunch option, but the appetizer of flavorful soup, daikon mochi, rice porridge, shrimp and egg stir-fry, and dessert for 2200 yen left me very satisfied. I would definitely like to visit again.

Located in Ginza 6-chome, "Seifuku" is a Chinese herbal cuisine restaurant on the 6th floor of the Kanematsu Building in Ginza. The concept of "Seifuku" is that a happy life starts with good health. The owner, Xie Minqi, who is also a Chinese medicine doctor, opened the restaurant in 1989 to promote herbal cuisine, which was still rare at the time. In Chinese culture, there is a belief in the connection between medicine and food, and seasonal ingredients are believed to provide what the body needs for that season. I ordered the "Gouqi Berry Five-Ingredient Yakisoba," which is a special yakisoba dish with Gouqi berries, various vegetables, and seafood. The dish was flavorful and healthy, with a light sauce. The meal was accompanied by Chrysanthemum tea, which has been used as a medicinal herb for over 2000 years. Overall, the experience of trying herbal Chinese cuisine in Ginza was both delicious and health-conscious.

Buddha Jumps Over the Wall soup, which means "expensive soup" in Chinese. I chose the premium course this time, with the main dish being this soup. The appetizer, jellyfish with sesame dressing (forgot to take a photo), was light with fried tofu on top. The oyster abalone and Buddha Jumps Over the Wall soup that followed were not heavy at all. Only one xiaolongbao... the taste was good but a bit lukewarm. The Peking duck was a bit lacking with only one wrap, so the crispy texture was not really felt. I thought I could wrap a couple more myself for that crispy experience, so it was quite disappointing. The swallow's nest roll with kinugasa mushrooms seemed very good for beauty, and the crunchy texture was delicious. The soup had a unique flavor, different from oyster, and was very tasty. The rice dish was small, like a tea cup size. I chose the seafood fried rice, which had a great soup with a fantastic chewy texture from the squid. The staff recommended dishes when I was unsure, and they were attentive even in the back seats, making service smooth. The restaurant was almost full around this time. The soup had a strong flavor from Jinhuaham and various ingredients like longan, fig, Chinese cabbage, sea cucumber, abalone, and lily bulb, seasoned only with salt. It had a gentle taste similar to Japanese dashi. These kinds of soups must have so many different ingredient combinations. It was delicious! The almond tofu was thin, more like almond jelly, and the beer was not served in a chilled glass, which was a bit disappointing considering it was a premium beer. Overall, considering the price, I was very satisfied. Definitely recommend the Buddha Jumps Over the Wall soup. Some places charge exorbitant prices for it, but this place offers delicious and reasonably priced dishes. The casual restaurant atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Thank you for the meal!

Following last month, I decided to order a nourishing dinner reservation this time due to feeling unwell. The price was a bit high, but I think it was reasonable considering the ingredients in the Ren course such as shark fin and large spiny lobster. I also bought a medicinal soup as a souvenir this time, which may be the best cost performance option (750 yen). Just like last time, the steamed soup really warmed up my body and made me feel cozy all over. I would definitely want to repeat this when I feel tired from work.

I tried Chinese medicinal cuisine for the first time to recover from being sick. I reserved the best course for lunch. Honestly, I thought medicinal cuisine was more about nutrition than taste, but I was completely satisfied from the first dish to the last. The medicinal soup, made without any seasonings except for Jinhua ham, was the best medicinal dish! It was delicious, and I finished every drop. The mapo tofu, which is often not very spicy when described as "extremely spicy," was actually very spicy. The portion was just right, making it a perfect last dish. I felt warm from the inside out, and I could feel my body getting better. The location was right in the middle of a pedestrian paradise, very close to the station, which was also a big plus. It's on the pricier side for lunch, but I would definitely want to come back maybe once every quarter.

"Five-ingredient Tsuyu Soba for 1,650 yen. Located in Ginza, this is a renowned Chinese medicinal cuisine restaurant that you'll want to visit when you're feeling tired and need a pick-me-up! When you sit down, you're served chrysanthemum tea instead of water (which is very refreshing). The Five-ingredient Tsuyu Soba combines meat, seafood, vegetables, jujube, and goji berries, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. It really helped boost my energy!"

I had lunch at this restaurant with the intention of trying something different. I chose the "sweet and sour pork," which I don't usually order, and it turned out to have pineapple in it! I should have asked about it beforehand, as I don't like that type of dish. The customers that day were all women, maybe they were attracted to the "medicinal cuisine"... Well, the medicinal soup wasn't bad, but due to my own mistake in choosing the dish, I was a bit disappointed.

A prestigious restaurant in Ginza with over 25 years of history specializing in Chinese herbal cuisine. Highly recommended for lunch meetings and girls' gatherings! I tried the affordable A lunch set which includes: dim sum, seasonal herbal steamed soup, choice of main dish (8 options to choose from), congee or white rice, and dessert. The dim sum was daikon mochi, the herbal soup was a special blend of Korean ginseng, wolfberries, longan, winter melon, chicken, and other ingredients that are good for beauty and health. For the main dish, I chose the black vinegar sweet and sour pork which had a unique flavor with pineapple. My friend chose the broccoli and seafood stir-fry. The almond tofu dessert was rich and delicious. Overall, it was a healthy and satisfying lunch set in a spacious and luxurious atmosphere.

I enjoyed a medicinal Chinese cuisine course priced at 16,500 yen. From the appetizers to the main dishes, every dish was gentle on the body and filled with medicinal herbs. The most delicious dishes were the braised sea cucumber, stir-fried shrimp, and the medicinal herb soup which were all exquisite! The alcohol was also reasonably priced, and I highly recommend the osmanthus flower liquor on the rocks! The restaurant is conveniently located in front of Ginza Six, with a quiet atmosphere making it perfect for a calm dining experience!

It was hot and cold, and my body is feeling a bit tired (´・ω・`). So, I decided to go to a restaurant that I had been wanting to visit for a while! It's on the 6th floor of the building where my beloved "Ginza Kanematsu" is located. When you get off the elevator, a beautifully elegant lady guides you gracefully. Her posture and appearance, as well as the beautiful aura emanating from within, made me feel entranced (´∀`*)ウフフ The atmosphere inside the restaurant is relaxed and calm, with many customers seeming to be Madams who have finished shopping and are now enjoying lunchtime. The lunch options include set courses, but I chose the set with a choice of main dish. The set includes: - Dim sum - Herbal steamed soup - Congee or white rice - Dessert For the main dish, you can choose from 8 different options. I chose broccoli and seafood stir-fry with congee. First, a pot of tea is served. When I poured it into the cup, I saw a light and beautiful green tea. I took a sip and it had a familiar scent, but I couldn't remember where I had smelled it before. Maybe herbs? No, maybe flowers? Hmm. However, it was soft, gently seeping into my stomach, and very delicious (´∀`*)ウフフ The first dish that arrived was the herbal soup. It was served in a small pot with plenty of vegetables. I took a sip of the soup and it was fantastic! It was not like the strong umami flavor from dashi, but a gentle and rounded taste created by the careful layering of the flavors of each ingredient. The slight acidity at the end was refreshing. The various ingredients such as winter melon, kudzu, wood ear mushrooms, carrots, wolfberries, and lotus seeds each provided different textures and flavors, making it a satisfying dish! The dim sum was daikon mochi, and it was amazing! It was the first time I had experienced such a strong daikon flavor in daikon mochi as an adult! The texture and aroma of daikon were present, while the sweetness was also noticeable. It was a revelation! The main dish of broccoli and seafood stir-fry was elegant with shrimp, squid, scallops, and ginkgo nuts. The squid was beautifully cut, the broccoli was vibrant green, and all the ingredients were cooked perfectly with a delicate texture and a perfect balance of flavors. It was incredibly delicious! The congee was simple with almost no seasoning, but toppings were provided to adjust the flavor. It had a perfect texture, not too firm or too soft, gently soothing the stomach. The dessert, almond jelly, seemed firm when I put the spoon in, but it melted on the tongue, providing a refreshing sensation at the end. It was delicious! After the meal, I enjoyed plenty of tea and paid the bill. When I asked the lovely lady at the counter what tea I had today, she pointed to the tea displayed and said it was "chrysanthemum tea." It is said to relieve eye strain, summer fatigue, and have antipyretic effects. Of course, I bought some to take home (*´▽`*) Every time I drink it at home, I think of that beautiful lady's smile, making me a bit of a weirdo (laughs). Thank you for the delicious meal today! ===========
