Second time at GINZA Shinfuuen (Shinfuuen) in Ginza, located diagonally across from Tokyu Plaza Ginza. This time, I had the luxurious lunch course of shark fin and abalone for 4,580 yen. The lunch may seem pricey at 4,580 yen, but let me tell you - it was worth it! The cold shark fin salad was surprisingly large and impressive. They even served Ezo abalone and delicious spare ribs. The mapo tofu with beef cheek meat and rice was included in the course, and it was incredibly tasty - even better than a certain restaurant in Sichuan, in my opinion. The dessert was a turtle-shaped jelly, which was both cute and delicious. The staff confirmed that it was indeed made from real turtle. Overall, the meal was satisfying and well worth the price. With such quality and quantity for a lunch in Ginza, I believe it is a great deal. This place is affordable and delicious! The shark fin and abalone were served in generous portions. I highly recommend this place for both lunch and dinner, as it is reasonably priced. I might just come back for a year-end or New Year's party! The Shanghai crab might be a must-try ingredient here. The taste and value for money at this place in Ginza are unbeatable! Thank you for the meal. Writing this review made me crave it again, maybe that's why I can't seem to lose weight... 4.0➡︎4.2 Below is a copy-paste of the menu from the restaurant's page: <Includes a toast drink> Luxurious Course of Shark Fin and Abalone 4,580 yen ■ Appetizer - Cold shark fin salad ■ Main dishes - Stir-fried young chicken and cashew nuts - Ezo abalone steamed in a clay pot with Kujo green onions - Spare ribs in Shanghai-style sweet vinegar - Shark fin and seasonal mushroom soup ■ Meal - Mapo tofu with beef cheek meat and rice ■ Dessert - Today's dessert

After the round, I was taken to a Chinese restaurant by a Chinese person. The authentic Chinese cuisine was delicious, especially the shark fin soup with tender fins. It was my first time eating gelatinous soft-shell turtle in a while. Surprisingly, the dumplings were also delicious!

The atmosphere was very nice, and I was able to enjoy the delicious food quietly. The service was very polite, they quickly replaced dishes and took care of us, which made the experience stress-free. The course meal was a bit on the smaller side, so younger people might find it a bit lacking in quantity.

I visited because I wanted to eat delicious Chinese food. Each dish, starting from the appetizers, was delicious. The shark fin soup and abalone were firm, and the shrimp could be eaten whole. The fried rice portion was just right and the seasoning was elegant. Next time, I want to try the Peking Duck.

It was a very cost-effective lunch. We had lunch in a private room located immediately to the right upon entering. The lunch consisted of a dim sum course, with four types of dim sum, mapo tofu, and Chinese tea. The lunch started with a three-item appetizer platter, which raised our expectations. The jellyfish was delicious. Then, we had two special spring rolls and two types of dim sum. The shumai was delicious, and the xiaolongbao was also tasty. The main dish was a sweet and sour stir-fry of white fish and vegetables. The delicious steamed soup of the day brought out the flavors of pork and other ingredients very well. Next was the mapo tofu, which was spicy and very delicious. It was excellent. Finally, the dessert of the day was almond tofu and sesame tofu with sesame paste. This was also delicious.

A restaurant specializing in "innovative Chinese cuisine" that evolved traditional Chinese dishes, led by the former head chef of Ginza Aster, a Chinese restaurant in Ginza. The restaurant was featured on the TV show "Matsuko and Ariyoshi's Karsome Tengoku" and had a photo displayed. The lunch menu here is reasonably priced and of high quality, making it one of the top choices for lunch in Ginza. The weekday lunch set is particularly impressive. The lunch set includes dishes like Shark Fin Clay Pot Rice for 2,299 yen and a weekly changing lunch set for 1,210 yen. Both sets come with the same appetizer, soup, and dessert, served with a pot of tea. The appetizers are mostly tofu salads, which are rich in flavor and delicious. The soups are of exceptional quality, almost like Hong Kong-style steamed soups, with rich flavors of pork bone and winter melon. It's surprising to find such delicious soup at this price range. The Shark Fin Clay Pot Rice is served piping hot and is prepared by a chef who is confident in handling dried ingredients. The seasoning is refined and truly delicious. The dish is generously filled with shark fin, along with other ingredients like Chinese broccoli and bean sprouts, which vary daily. For a lunch in the mid-2000 yen range, this is one of the top choices. The dessert is almond tofu with a berry sauce, a delightful way to end the meal. The weekly changing lunch set also offers high-quality dishes, such as well-cooked stir-fries and flavorful simmered dishes, which are surprisingly authentic for the price range in the 1000 yen range. Unfortunately, the weekday lunch set was discontinued on March 20, and the restaurant now operates only with courses, which is disappointing. Dreams don't last long, I thought.

I was invited to have lunch to try Shanghai crab by a friend. I hesitated because I had never had decent crab in Shanghai or Yokohama Chinatown, but my friend insisted and we went to Ginza. I had some expectations due to the impressive entrance of the restaurant. The service and being led to a lovely private room exceeded my expectations. I was so satisfied that I even made a reservation for next year before leaving. The price was high, but the satisfaction level was even higher.

I visited Shinfuen, who offers innovative Chinese cuisine in Ginza style, for lunch with friends I hadn't seen in a while. We enjoyed a course meal that included Ezo abalone soft simmered appetizer, boiled shark fin, dim sum, steamed white fish in Hong Kong style sauce, Mao Zedong spare ribs, mapo tofu with rice, dessert, and Chinese tea, along with a glass of sparkling wine, all for about 5500 yen. I thought the quality and value of the meal were excellent. The boiled shark fin dish was especially delicious!

Located just a minute's walk from the Ginza Sukiyabashi intersection on the 6th floor of Ginza Miyukikan. I felt like having Chinese food for lunch in Ginza and decided to try this place for the first time. I ordered the dim sum course for one person. Although they accepted my order without any fuss, I later noticed on the menu that the course is for two people. - Dim Sum Course: 3,122 yen Appetizers: - Cold dish of squid and seasonal vegetables: The tenderness of the squid and the crispness of the vegetables were impressive. - Roast duck: Delicious! - Spring rolls: The oil used for frying didn't seem fresh, and the texture was not great. - Dim sum: The shrimp was cut too finely, resulting in a mushy texture. - Sweet and sour stir-fried white fish and vegetables: A classic sweet and sour sauce. - Wakame and egg soup: Too salty, couldn't taste the umami of the broth. - Mapo tofu with rice: The richness of the doubanjiang and the wildness of the pork were prominent. Not very spicy but very filling! - Almond jelly and sesame dumplings: The filling of the sesame dumplings had a crunchy texture. The almond jelly didn't go well with the strawberry sauce. They kept refilling the jasmine tea for me. As a dim sum lover, I wasn't completely satisfied.

I really wanted to eat delicious Chinese food, so I made a same-day reservation and visited. It was located in a mixed-use building in Ginza, and the interior was not as spacious as I had imagined. However, I had high hopes for the food. I chose the dim sum course for around 3000 yen. They served Chinese tea. For the appetizers, there were 3 types, and the intricately cut squid was delicious. There were 2 types of dim sum, steamed dishes, and the meat-filled siu mai and shrimp dumplings were fluffy and tasty. There were also 2 types of spring rolls, with a crispy outer layer that I liked the most. The sweet and sour simmered white fish was elegant and tasty. The spare rib soup, which is apparently a specialty of the restaurant, had tender meat and was really delicious. The mapo tofu and rice were not too spicy, just right for me who is not a fan of very spicy food. You can also get a refill of rice. The sesame dumplings and almond soup were slightly warm and very delicious. If this was all for 3000 yen, it feels like a great deal. There were many people celebrating birthdays around me, so maybe it's that kind of place. The staff were kind, and I would like to come back again!

The Western-style interior of the restaurant is clean and spacious, making it a relaxing space. The staff are well-dressed and professional. The course I had this time included four appetizers and a dish of shark fin with rice. I also tried the lunch course with shark fin and spare ribs, which was excellent. I had a very enjoyable lunch time without any complaints. By the time I savored the richness of the almond jelly dessert, I felt satisfied both in my stomach and heart after enjoying the new Chinese cuisine. I highly recommend it.

Dim sum course. Even though it was lunch, the service was very attentive. The staff's service was truly wonderful. The dim sum course was delicious. Be careful as it is served piping hot, so eat it right away!!! The meal ended with a spicy mapo tofu, and I am very full. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant in response to a friend's request for stewed shark fin. The interior of the restaurant was compact but had a comfortable, adult atmosphere with dim lighting. The course was 5,390 yen per person, including a glass of sparkling wine for toasting. There were clear dividers between seats, and credit cards and PayPay were accepted. The course included: - Assorted appetizers with tender Ezo abalone stew - Stewed shark fin with various broth flavors - Special dim sum x2 - Hong Kong-style steamed fish with scallion sauce - Choice of 1 or 2 spare ribs dishes (I chose Mao Zedong spare ribs, which were tender and flavorful) - Mapo tofu with rice - Almond tofu and sesame paste fried sesame balls for dessert. Everything was delicious and satisfying, with a good portion size. When our drinks ran out, they offered us a pot of tea. The attention to detail in the dishes showed the restaurant's dedication. I would love to visit this place again when craving stewed shark fin.

It's a stylish restaurant where you can enjoy stylish Chinese cuisine in a stylish setting! I happened to enter the restaurant because it was raining heavily and I saw Chinese characters in front of me. The sign was very bright, giving off a high-class Chinese atmosphere. However, when I looked at the lunch course menu, it included shark fin for a reasonable price of around 5,600 yen. (There is no shark fin in the photo, but it was delicious.) In addition to shark fin, the lamb meat was also delicious and had good value for money. The Shaoxing wine was served in a large glass, not a small sake cup, which added to the stylish atmosphere.

Saturday, December 2021. 11:30. I found a great deal on a course through a special offer and made a reservation to visit. The restaurant is located on the 6th floor of the Ginza Miyuki-kan Building, with a simple entrance that doesn't give off any tension. The menu displayed in front of the shop is as follows (all prices include tax): [Lunch Course] Dim Sum Course 2,838 yen - Seasonal appetizer platter - 2 special spring rolls - 2 types of dim sum of the day - Sweet and sour stir-fried white fish and vegetables - Steamed soup of the day - Mapo tofu with beef cheek meat and rice - Dessert of the day - Goma dango with creamy sesame bean paste - Chinese tea of the day Ginza Course with Shark Fin and Spare Ribs 3,608 yen - Seasonal appetizer platter - Shark fin and seasonal mushroom soup - Sweet and sour stir-fried white fish and vegetables - Mao Zedong spare ribs - Lightly stir-fried seasonal vegetables of the day - Mapo tofu with beef cheek meat and rice - Dessert of the day - Chef's selection of Chinese tea Luxurious Course with Shark Fin and Abalone 5,478 yen - Shark fin cold salad - Stir-fried young chicken and cashew nuts - Ezo abalone steamed in a clay pot with Kujo green onions - Spare ribs in Shanghai-style sweet and sour sauce - Shark fin and seasonal mushroom soup - Mapo tofu with beef cheek meat and rice - Dessert of the day - Chef's selection of Chinese tea [Lunch Drinks] - Suntory The Premium Malt's 605 yen - Shaoxing wine 605 yen - Apricot liqueur 605 yen - Sparkling wine 605 yen - Wine (red or white) 495 yen - Coca-Cola 385 yen - Ginger ale 385 yen - 100% orange juice 385 yen - 100% grapefruit juice 385 yen - Iced oolong tea 385 yen - Coffee (hot or iced) 385 yen - Hand-picked frozen peak oolong tea pot 715 yen - Lychee black tea pot 715 yen - Jasmine tea pot 715 yen The entrance of the restaurant was simple, but the interior had a nice touch of luxury. The atmosphere was reminiscent of the previous location, Shin Goto Cuisine Ginza Kajisen. The staff were gentlemanly and approachable, providing attentive service without being overly formal. We opted for the course we reserved through a special offer: [Sparkling Wine Toast Spare Rib Lunch] Special dim sum and spare ribs, total of 8 dishes + Chinese tea after meal Normal price: 8,250 yen → Special price: 3,420 yen (tax included) - Includes a glass of sparkling wine for toasting (can be substituted with a soft drink for non-alcohol drinkers) 1. Chef's recommended appetizer platter 2. Seasonal vegetables and Angelica sinensis herbal-style steamed soup 3. Qingfuyuan special dim sum, 2 types 4. Chef's special dish of the day 5. Spicy and tender fried spare ribs, Mao Zedong's favorite 6. Chef's special shark fin and abalone rice in thick sauce 7. Dessert of the day 8. Chef's selection of Chinese famous tea The table setting with rose-shaped napkins made my heart flutter. The menu for the day's course was placed on the table, allowing us to anticipate the upcoming dishes while waiting. Upon entering, we were promptly served drinks, and the first dish, the appetizer, was served within 10 minutes of arrival. This speedy service was greatly appreciated as we were quite hungry! [Tasting] 1. Chef's recommended appetizer platter The dried tofu threads were light and not overpowering, perfect for an appetizer. The eggplant had absorbed the broth well, reminiscent of a Japanese simmered dish. The crab was plump and delicious. The meat was like a beef steak, equally delicious! 2. Seasonal vegetables and Angelica sinensis herbal-style steamed soup Despite being labeled as "herbal-style," the soup was light and easy to drink continuously. However, the vegetables added a subtle umami flavor, making it delicious. 3. Qingfuyuan special dim sum, 2 types The freshly steamed dim sum was a delight! The siu mai had a hearty meat texture and great flavor, while the shrimp steamed dumplings were ==========

The course was full of luxurious ingredients such as lobster, Japanese black beef, abalone, and soft-shelled turtle. Unlike the large, hearty Chinese dishes I've had before, each dish was delicate and showed attention to detail. It was my first time trying abalone and soft-shelled turtle, and they were deliciously prepared without any strong flavors. I'm glad my first experience with them was at Shin Fu En. Most of the staff were Chinese and all of them were very kind, making the dining experience perfect.

I visited this restaurant for lunch for the first time. Luckily, they were offering a 50% discount during the service period. They also provided a complimentary drink, making it a very good deal. The dishes were mostly light Chinese cuisine, focusing on items that seemed good for the body. The appetizers were all delicious. The soup was aromatic with medicinal herbs, the fish was tender with a side of green onions, and the spare ribs had a spicy flavor, allowing for a well-balanced dining experience. My favorite was the rice topped with braised sea cucumber, which was colorful and tasty. The dessert was simple, without any special presentation, but the almond tofu was very delicious. There is still so much to explore in Ginza, and I look forward to trying out more restaurants in the area.

Ginza Shinfuen is famous for their spare ribs, as well as delicious shark fin and mapo tofu. I love it so much that I almost don't want to tell anyone about it. If asked for recommendations, I would definitely introduce this place. I want to go back again if I have the chance. I'm thinking of going back again. I'd prefer to try a different restaurant if possible. I don't want to go. Personally, I do not recommend it.

Today's visit was to GINZA Shinfukuen. GINZA Shinfukuen is a Chinese restaurant located in Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo. It opened in April 2017 and is a long-established Chinese restaurant in Ginza. GINZA Shinfukuen is known for its innovative Chinese cuisine created by a head chef with 20 years of experience and Chinese chefs who honed their skills at famous restaurants in China. Personally being into Chinese cuisine lately, I decided to visit during lunchtime. Looking at the menu, I saw that you can order dim sum dishes individually, so I chose to try some alongside the drool chicken. There are plenty of private rooms and table seats for a leisurely Chinese course. It's great that there are many private rooms where you can eat without worrying about infectious diseases. The Chinese course is enjoyable. When the restaurant is not busy, the next dish comes out quickly. The staff are considerate and polite, making it a pleasant dining experience. All the dishes are beautiful and delicious, and there is a sense of trying new things, making it enjoyable to eat. The variety of alcohol is a bit limited. Thank you for the meal.

Located on the 6th floor of a building to the left just past Tokyu Plaza, heading towards Shinbashi from the Sukiyabashi intersection on Sotobori Street. I made a reservation for Sunday lunch and visited. The interior is gorgeous. It seemed almost full. I had the Ginza course with shark fin and spare ribs (3,608 yen). The appetizers consisted of three dishes: duck with scallion oil sauce, tofu with dried beancurd shreds, and firefly squid with spicy dressing. I was impressed by the unique cooking method for the firefly squid. The other dishes were also carefully made, leaving me looking forward to future visits. The shark fin and seasonal mushroom soup was rich in shark fin and had just the right amount of seasoning, making it delicious. The white fish and vegetable in sweet and sour sauce was like sweet and sour pork but with white fish instead. The outside was crispy while the inside was so tender it seemed to melt, and the sweet and sour sauce enveloped it beautifully. The spicy and tender spare ribs Mao Zedong style were not overly spicy, thanks to garlic, chili, nuts, and other spices. The tender fried meat was easy to cut with a knife, and I could see why it's popular. The recommended stir-fried vegetables were cooked just right, retaining the crispness of the greens. The mapo tofu with beef cheek meat had a generous amount of minced meat and was not overly spicy, with a gentle flavor. It went well with rice. The meal also included almond jelly, a drink (sparkling wine or soft drink), and Chinese tea. The wine was fruity and generous in portion, making it a great value for the price. We also ordered fried rice a la carte for the kids, which had a strong and slightly oily flavor, but was still delicious. The atmosphere and service were excellent, and I left very satisfied. I look forward to trying dim sum next time.
