Gong Cha's Juicy Kyoho Frozen Tea was treated by my daughter in Musashi-Koyama. We drank it on a bench at Musashi-Koyama Station. It had lots of Kyoho Frozen Tea jelly and plenty of tapioca. It was delicious! Happy (*˘︶˘*).。.:* On the way back, the flowers at the Rinshinomori Park we passed by were also beautiful.

This is my first visit. I felt like having something sweet for a snack at 3 o'clock, and although I hesitated between a nearby major café, my adventurous spirit led me to this place. I ordered a Taro Milk in size S for 490 yen, with an additional topping of pearls (tapioca) for 80 yen. The tapioca added as a topping was large and plentiful, providing a pleasant texture. The "taro" in Taro Milk is likely taro root, but the taro flavor was not particularly strong. However, this smooth and sweet drink was perfect for a weekend snack. Thank you for the meal.

Gong Cha in Musashi Koyama Oolong Milk Tea, size M ¥560 Hokkaido Cheese Milk Foam topping Egg Tart Pearl & Peach ¥280 After a long time, I went to Musashi Koyama with my daughter in a stroller, just the two of us, and we headed straight to Gong Cha near the station. Gong Cha Park City Musashi Koyama The Mall Store Tokyo, Shinagawa-ku, Koyama 3-15-1 Park City Musashi Koyama The Mall 1F (Just a short walk from Tokyu Meguro Line Musashi Koyama Station) Opening hours: 11:00 - 21:00 Closed on days following the stream Child-friendly Oolong Milk Tea with Hokkaido Cheese Milk Foam Since it was a cold day, I opted for a hot Oolong Milk Tea. I was intrigued by the Hokkaido Milk Cheese Foam topping that has been available for a limited time since January 5th. It is a new sensation milk foam made from Cheddar, Mascarpone, Cream Cheese, and Camembert from Hokkaido. The recommended way to enjoy it is to drink directly from the cup without using a straw. I was surprised that the Cheese Milk Foam was cold. It starts with a fluffy and cool cheesy (salty) taste in one sip, followed by the warm Oolong Milk Tea (sweet), and then the Cheese Milk Foam melts into the Oolong Milk Tea, creating a milder sweetness. Egg Tart Pearl & Peach This was my first time ordering food at Gong Cha. I was interested in trying some tapioca, so I chose the Pearl & Peach, which has tapioca in Peach Tea syrup. Gong Cha's tapioca is indeed chewy and delicious. In addition to Egg Tart, they also have Pineapple Cake and Donuts. Child-friendly note: The store is flat and easy to enter with a stroller, but the space between seats is narrow, depending on the crowd at the store. The nursing room and diaper changing table are available at the station building (Etomo Musashi Koyama). Overall, it was my first time at Gong Cha in a while. I was a bit awkward when ordering, but the staff was kind and helped me smoothly place my order. I am looking forward to trying the Rich Chocolate, and I am curious about the coming soon Banana Milk Tea. It must be delicious. Maybe I'll try combining the Rich Chocolate with Banana Milk Tea. #CafeHoppingWithMy1YearOld I enjoy cafe hopping with my daughter. I will report on whether strollers are allowed inside and the availability of kids' menus, etc. #ChildFriendlyCafeHopping #ChildFriendlyCafeHopping_MusashiKoyama #GongCha #OolongMilkTea #MilkTea #HokkaidoCheeseMilkFoam #Tapioca #EggTart #TaiwaneseSweets #TaiwaneseCafe #MusashiKoyamaCafe #MusashiKoyamaLunch #MusashiKoyamaGourmet #CafeLife #Cafe #CafeLovers #ChildFriendlyCafe #ChildFriendlyCafeTokyo #LimitedTimeMenu #Dessert

I usually go to a place where I can have a beer to kill some time, but this time I opted for a non-alcoholic drink. Unfortunately, it was a limited-time product and they no longer sell it. Sorry for the late review as always. The Egg Tart should still be available. - Queen's Frozen Kimun Milk Tea: A frozen tea drink made with Kimun tea and milk foam, topped with black tea jelly and pearls. It also has caramel crunch on top. It's perfect for a hot day. I love milk and caramel, and I prefer tea over coffee, so this drink was perfect for me. It's sweet and delicious. - Egg Tart Caramel: I really wanted to eat an egg tart with caramel topping, and it did not disappoint. The combination of the sweetness of the egg tart and the slightly bitter caramel was amazing. The dessert items seem to be available only in certain stores. Gong Cha seems to be popping up everywhere lately, but this was my first time trying it. I first tried tapioca milk tea when I went to Taiwan, and even though I don't usually drink sweet drinks often, I might go back to try it again sometime.

I added a friend on LINE and got a buy 1 get 1 free coupon! I tried it right away and got 2 tapioca drinks for about 600 yen, so lucky! It's been a while since I had jasmine milk tea tapioca drink, and it was delicious even in a large size. It was so hot that I drank about half of it in one go. haha I want to go back when I crave sweets again, but I'm already full, so I'll prepare myself for next time.

I found Gong Cha in the hot weather! They have a large sign outside advertising their limited edition strawberry drink! It looks really cute. It's not the most refreshing drink, but the almond and strawberry flavors are delicious, especially with tapioca topping. I've tried tapioca from various shops, but personally, this one ranks first. I'll definitely come back to cool off. Thank you for the meal.

Gong Cha has brought back their frozen drinks after 2 years, and it's hard to resist trying one, even though it's still cold outside. The Strawberry Almond Ali Shan Frozen Milk Tea costs ¥600 and features a spring-like pink frozen drink with a milky foam and strawberry sauce marbled at the bottom, along with chewy strawberry almond pieces. It has a refreshing sweetness compared to their previous milk tea version, and it's quite filling. It's best enjoyed without mixing everything together to savor the flavors till the end. If you want to fully enjoy the strawberry almond, the milk tea version is recommended over this one. Be careful with adding tapioca toppings, as they might overpower the almond flavor.

Today, Gong Cha released a new drink called Strawberry Almond Ali Shan Milk Tea. It is a strawberry milk tea with plenty of strawberry sauce added to Ali Shan Oolong tea. The drink is topped with chewy almond jelly and milk foam, giving it a sweet and salty taste. Even without added sweetness, the drink is quite sweet due to the strawberry sauce, so be careful if you prefer less sweet drinks.

Egg tart topped with tapioca!? Starting today, Gong Cha is selling desserts. Desserts in Chinese means "sweet treats or desserts." There are 4 types of egg tarts and 1 pineapple cake in the lineup. The egg tart with tapioca on top is quite surprising! It looks like blueberries, but it's actually tapioca! The tart has a crumbly texture with a light custard cream, and the peach sauce adds a nice touch. The tapioca adds a fun and unique texture to the overall experience. It's a new and addictive combination. Give it a try!

After shopping near the Koyama Shoten-kai on January 10, 2022, I visited this place because I wanted to drink milk tea for the first time in a while. It was very popular when it first opened in Japan, but now that the tapioca boom has passed, no one was lining up on a holiday afternoon at 1 pm. I had the "Black Sugar Milk Oolong Tea" in size M, iced, with added tapioca, and less sweet: 670 yen. It had a deeper flavor than regular milk tea, with a refreshing aftertaste. You could also slightly taste the aroma of the tea leaves. It was delicious, but in terms of quality and cost performance, it's just an average tapioca shop in China (in fact, this brand is considered second or third tier). However, there are very few tapioca brands that have entered Japan, so it is a thankful presence for us in Japan. Thank you for the meal.

I had my first Gong Cha experience and decided to try three different drinks! The staff were all cute, kind, and helpful, answering my beginner questions with patience. [Tasting] - W Pistachio Oolong Milk Tea Ice (Cold) Sweetness: Less Sweet 600 yen (tax included) Rating: 4/5 The Christmas limited edition sleeve was a nice touch. The ice didn't dilute the flavor, as advised by the staff. I chose less sweetness, but it turned out to be quite sweet. The oolong tea and pistachio flavors complement each other well. The pistachio milk foam on top is rich and flavorful. Despite being too sweet at first, I enjoyed the balance of pistachio and sweetness towards the end. - Tea Tasting: Ali Shan Oolong Tea Hot Small Size (300ml) No Sweetness 200 yen (tax included) Rating: 3.5/5 As part of the tea tasting campaign, I tried the Ali Shan Oolong Tea, recommended by the staff. It had a floral and fruity aroma, reminiscent of my favorite unsweetened black tea. It was smooth with no bitterness. - Brown Sugar Milk Black Tea Hot Medium Size (400ml) Sweetness: Less Sweet 570 yen Rating: 3.7/5 I finally tried the popular Brown Sugar Milk Black Tea, opting for less sweetness. The strong brown sugar flavor overshadowed the black tea, but it was comforting and delicious. I look forward to trying it with tapioca next time. Overall, the Gong Cha staff take care in brewing their teas, and I appreciate their attention to detail. Despite some confusion with the ordering process, the kind staff made my experience enjoyable and I look forward to returning.

"On Sunday afternoon, June 6, 2021, when heading to Ikebukuro, I bought a souvenir from a Taiwanese brand that also has many stores in mainland China. In terms of taste, variety, and cost performance, I personally feel that it is weaker compared to other brands, but I am grateful for its presence in Japan. Due to my allergies, the following are reviews from my friend: 'Jasmine Green Milk Tea' in ice, size M, less sweet, normal ice, with added coconut jelly, priced at 540 yen. It is not too sweet, with a lovely jasmine aroma and refreshing green tea flavor. The coconut jelly is made by combining coconut water, similar to agar jelly, providing a unique texture. Overall, it offers a refreshing taste. 'Black Milk Tea' in hot, size S, normal sweetness, with added tapioca, priced at 490 yen. It was a rainy and chilly day, so I opted for a hot drink. It has a pleasantly sweet taste and is easy to drink, with tapioca pearls offering a good balance of chewiness. In short, it is just an average tapioca shop. Apart from drinks, they also sell curry and Gua Bao as meal options. They have a points system, and on rainy days, points are doubled. Thank you for the meal."

Gong Cha is a Taiwanese tea specialty chain located in front of Musashi-Koyama Station. Despite its convenient location, there were no customers on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was not very attentive. I purchased the "Ari-san Oolong Tea" which I couldn't input in one go due to the Kanji conversion issue. I got it for 100 yen with a special coupon. I ordered it without sweetness, with ice, and no toppings. Thanks to the zero sweetness, the flavor of the tea leaves came through directly. The richness of the flavor was perfect, making it a great post-meal drink.

Gong cha, a Taiwanese tea brand, has over 30 stores in Tokyo. I visited the Musashikoyama branch in November 2019. Initially, there were long lines but it has calmed down now. I tried their Black Sugar Milk Black Tea with pearls for 649 yen, which is more expensive than a beer. The drink was tasty with the smooth sweetness of black sugar and the bitterness of black tea. The pearls were large and chewy. It's high in calories though. Some students enjoy the tea without pearls to reduce calories. The staff, all female, wore matching red polo shirts and ponytails. They reminded me of Hooters, but with masks on.

Visited Gong Cha in front of Musashi-Koyama Station. Students can enjoy drinks at a very affordable price thanks to the student discount. I ordered a Black Milk Tea with Pearl Topping (324 yen). It was ready in about 3 minutes. I have had Gong Cha a few times before, but this time the tapioca pearls were a bit hard, which was disappointing. I hope for better next time.

Gong Cha, a tapioca milk tea specialty shop located on the first floor of a shopping building in front of Musashi-Koyama Station. They offer a variety of drinks, including Black Milk Tea with pearls for 490 yen, Matcha Milk Tea with milk foam for 540 yen, and Chocolate Milk Tea with milk foam for 540 yen (excluding tax). I visited Musashi-Koyama for shopping after a long time and was surprised to see the changes in the area. I tried the Black Sugar Milk Black Tea (M) for 520 yen plus pearls for 70 yen (excluding tax). It was a familiar and refreshing drink made with a base of black tea, original black sugar syrup, and topped with pearls. The sweetness comes from the black sugar syrup, which made it slightly sweet. I prefer my drink without ice, but unfortunately, it wasn't an option. However, even when I drank it at home later, it didn't taste watered down. It was my first time trying Gong Cha, and I enjoyed the strong black sugar flavor in the drink, more than the taste of the tea itself.

Musashikoyama Station area is currently undergoing new development, and one of the newly opened stores in The Mall right in front of the station is GongCha, a chain that has over 1400 stores in Asia. It's known for offering tea fit for an emperor. When I first passed by, there was a bit of a line so I decided to come back later when it was less crowded. The customization system in this store is quite detailed, which may be a bit challenging for beginners. Each person takes their time choosing, which naturally leads to lines forming. I opted for a Milk Foam Black Tea in a small size with tapioca and aloe as toppings. The foam topping was surprisingly delicious with a hint of saltiness. The tea itself was similar to a milk tea with a nice flavor. I may have added too many toppings as there was a lot left at the end, so I had to remove the lid and drink it directly from the cup. One topping is probably enough. I wish they provided spoons. Overall, it seemed high in calories, but the tapioca provided a satisfying dessert-like texture. The store quickly filled up again after I left, showing the popularity of the ongoing bubble tea trend. It's said that dessert trends last 2-3 years, so I predict the bubble tea trend may end in 2020. Other lesser-known bubble tea shops in the area seem to be struggling. The Mall still has many vacant shops, and I noticed a small grocery store with a prime location that made me wonder if it was forced to relocate. This year, I focused more on home-cooked meals than dining out.

On December 2, 2019, I visited this new shop in front of Musashi-Koyama Station for the first time. It was part of the redevelopment of the area. Although the tapioca trend may have passed, this was the first tapioca shop in Musashi-Koyama... or so I thought, until later realizing my mistake. I arrived around 6:30 pm and there were about 10 people waiting. The new commercial facility is still mostly open or vacant, but I look forward to the completion of the new tower next year. Compared to other commercial facilities, this one is quite small, but it is the only one with a popular line. Most of the customers were women, so as a middle-aged man, it took some courage to jump in (laughs). I have seen lines at Shibuya store and others, but this one is quite compact. Inside the shop, you order at the front counter, receive your order on the left side, and there are 4 counter seats at the back left and 6 seats at 3 tables for dining in. Now, looking at the menu... it was a bit confusing (sweat). Roughly speaking, you choose your drink (hot or cold, size, etc.), sweetness level, ice amount, and toppings. I ordered the "Black Milk Tea (M)" (420 yen) with "Milk Foam" (70 yen) and matcha powder topping... since I didn't know what to order, I asked the staff, "What is the most popular?" and they recommended this Black Milk Tea. I quickly ordered, received it at the left hand pick-up counter, and was asked if I wanted matcha powder topping. First, I removed the lid and sipped the milk foam. It was delicious. I drank about half, covered the lid again, and finished the rest with a straw. The Black Milk Tea, being the most popular, was indeed delicious. After finishing it, I realized... wait, where are the tapioca pearls? There were none! It turns out this was a Taiwanese tea specialty shop, not a tapioca specialty shop (no wonder the straw was thin, haha). It seems that "pearls" are the tapioca topping. [Impressive Points] It is indeed delicious. Different from convenience store tapioca drinks. [Would be nice if...] Well, nothing in particular. As a middle-aged man, it was a bit of a struggle (laughs). But I understood why there was a line. It's just quite expensive, isn't it? When you think one drink could get you a bowl of beef bowl... it's like saying, "Don't come back" (laughs). It was a good experience. Next time, I'll try a tapioca drink!
