"Boiled Sichuan-style white fish and kana (Chinese mustard greens) (1100 yen). Last time, I had the Sichuan-style beef stew which was really spicy, so this time, I thought that since it's white in appearance, it wouldn't be that spicy. It took a bit of time to prepare due to a busy order queue, but it was ready in 11 minutes. Wow, there's a lot of white fish in it! The white fish is so soft that it almost breaks apart when picked up with chopsticks. The clear soup has a rich and savory flavor with a decent amount of garlic. The spiciness is not as intense as the beef stew. The red and green chili peppers in it add some heat, but the soup itself is just mildly spicy. There's also a good amount of numbing sensation from the Sichuan peppercorns. The Chinese mustard greens are plentiful and quite spicy, either naturally or from soaking up the soup. Gradually, the spiciness builds up... I realized that the color of the soup is similar to green curry! I had some extra rice and finished it all. The spiciness didn't make me sweat excessively, it was gentler compared to the beef stew. There were plenty of white fish (not sure what kind) in it, so it was quite enjoyable. The spiciness wasn't too intense, but the numbing sensation was quite strong. As always, the rice was cooked well, which is important. It's a bit pricey, but they have weekly specials that are a bit cheaper, and free rice refills. The spacious atmosphere makes it comfortable to dine in without feeling pressured. I'll definitely visit again."

Oh, I forgot to write a review ∑(゚Д゚) This is a restaurant that opened after Aji Minamoto, which offers affordable set meals with free rice refill. Lunch used to be a bit over 1000 yen, so I didn't visit often, but recently they revamped their lunch menu to be more reasonably priced, and I have been visiting frequently since then. The interior is still spacious and the majority of customers are Chinese rather than Japanese. The atmosphere is lively, with young women enjoying hot pot dishes. I tried the "Mapo Tofu Set Meal (880 yen)" and it was quite spicy and numbing. It comes in a hot pot and is served with pickles, salad, soup, and almond jelly. The "Sichuan-style Braised Beef Set Meal (1188 yen)" was very spicy and the soup was dark red. The ingredients included beef, cabbage, bok choy, and bean sprouts. The "Northeastern-style Stir-fried Pickled Cabbage and Pork (880 yen)" was simple but delicious, with pickled cabbage, pork, and glass noodles. The rice was well-cooked and the soup was also improved compared to the previous restaurant. Overall, the food was flavorful and the rice refill was free, making it a good value for a hearty meal. The chef seems to have a good sense of balance in creating dishes that are spicy but not overwhelming. I would recommend this place for locals looking for a reliable Chinese restaurant with a unique touch.

I revisited the restaurant on a weekday night in December 2022. You can smoke outside at the entrance, but the smoke comes in a bit. The dishes for sharing were plastic. I had a medium-sized draft beer (550 yen) and my husband toasted with a beer. We ordered a bottle of 5-year-aged Shaoxing wine (1980 yen), which tasted okay. The menu only had century egg tofu, but we were able to order just the century egg. The price remained the same. It had a Chinese-style flavor. We also had Sichuan-style pickled cabbage and glass noodle stir-fry (880 yen), which was too authentic and sour for my taste. Lastly, we tried the five-ingredient fried rice (850 yen), which was just a regular fried rice with carrots, scallions, green peas, egg, and ham.

On the second floor of a chain Chinese restaurant, there is a restaurant serving continental Chinese cuisine. The interior is spacious with Chinese decorations and paintings, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of Chinese dishes. I ordered shrimp fried rice, which came with egg drop soup. The portion was generous, and the shrimp was fresh and delicious.

I used it for lunch on a holiday in November 2022. The restaurant had changed without me realizing it. I entered wondering if anyone was there, and found that there were 2 tables of 2, 2 tables of 3, and 1 table of 4 already seated, with more people in the back room. I ordered the lunch set of finely chopped stir-fried pork and green peppers (1000 yen including tax). It had a strong taste of garlic and garlic sprouts, but was still easy to eat. The portion was quite generous. My husband ordered the hot pot mapo tofu (1000 yen), which had a numbing spiciness and tasted authentic. There were also dishes like Northeastern-style eggplant with minced meat sauce noodles and Northeastern-style egg and tomato sauce noodles, so I think it's probably a Northeastern cuisine restaurant. I'll try visiting at night next time.
