In early April 2023, I got off at Gotanda on my way home from work. I went to "Yoshinoya Gotanda Station Front Store" and ordered a Meat-Loaded Gyudon using the tablet at the counter on the 2nd floor. I also ordered extra green onions. There were no pickled ginger and shichimi pepper on the table. When I called a staff member, I was shown where to find pickled ginger and shichimi pepper for takeout because someone had misused the Yoshinoya pickled ginger container by sticking chopsticks directly into it, causing this precaution to be taken. This was inconvenient for both the store and the customers. Currently, pickled ginger and shichimi pepper are being provided as usual. Yoshinoya in front of Gotanda Station has been around for a long time. The one on the west side closed down, so this is the only one left in Gotanda. Due to its location, the customer base is not great. The staff is not very friendly either. And the female staff are all older women... I only go there when I really want to eat at Yoshinoya.

After work, I got off at Gotanda station. I went to Yoshinoya Gotanda Ekimae store. I was wondering if the Gyudon with Sukiyaki would be ending soon, and since it was January, I could add an egg for free, so I ordered it right away. I also added extra green onions. I was wondering how to add the egg, but there was a "free additional egg" option on the tablet device, so I just tapped it. I ate the Gyudon with Sukiyaki as it is, then made a Gyudon with the remaining rice. Finally, I made Tamago Kake Gohan with the leftover rice. I tried a beef salad! The appearance is different from the photo, but that's just how it is. On top of fresh vegetables, there is beef, chicken breast, broccoli, onsen egg, cheese, and dressing (I used soy sauce, but it's not necessary because the beef is juicy). The cheese is optional, depending on personal preference. I felt like there was a bit of a shortage of vegetables, but it's a convenient meal for a light dinner.

I had to go to Otemachi for some errands, but somehow ended up in Gotanda. As I was walking, I noticed Gyujo Nabe Zengoku near the entrance of the Asakusa Line and decided to try it since I've been curious about it. The counter had an open seat, so I sat there and placed my order. The restaurant was full, with a constant flow of customers coming in and out, which seemed to be the usual scene. I thought the beef bowl would take longer to prepare, but it arrived in less than 10 minutes. The portion size and price made me feel like it was a great deal. It was delicious. I added shichimi and pickled ginger on top of the rice and enjoyed every bite. Having sukiyaki for lunch felt like a luxurious treat. I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. I had been curious about the new parent and child bowl at Yoshinoya for a while. It's innovative for Yoshinoya to handle chicken, so I had high expectations. The chicken is firm and juicy, with a nice bite to it. The creamy egg is exquisite. The sweet sauce gently ties everything in the bowl together. It's delicious, yes. I recommend adding pickled ginger and shichimi pepper from the table condiments. The sweet sauce goes well with the condiments, adding a nice touch to the deliciousness.

After work, I went to Yoshinoya Gotanda Ekimae Store. I went to the 2nd floor and ordered sake and pork bowl. I added fried chicken with a service ticket. I went to the Yoshinoya Gotanda Station store after work. I went to the 2nd floor and ordered sake and oyakodon. The chilled sake at Yoshinoya is delicious. I enjoy the sake with the oyakodon ingredients. When the chilled sake is less than half left, I eat the oyakodon with the sauce and egg soaked in it. It's delicious. The total cost was 1000 yen with change. I haven't been to Senbero yet, but I think I got close to Senbero. I got off at Gotanda on my way home and went to the Yoshinoya Gotanda Ekimae store. I ordered the "Negi Shio Buta Teishoku" using a tablet device. For me, the saltiness was a bit strong. According to the Yoshinoya website, the "Negi Shio Buta Don" is a dish where specially made negi shio sauce is cooked with pork and served on top of rice. The special negi shio sauce is made by chopping onions and adding salt, garlic, sesame oil, and apple vinegar. This year, they added salt koji to the sauce for a more flavorful taste. The ratio of onions has also been increased for better texture and deliciousness. They also started selling the "Negi Shio Buta Teishoku" for 598 yen (tax included) and the "Negi Shio Tori Don" for 466 yen (tax included) today. The set meal includes rice, miso soup, and salad, with free rice refills. The refreshing acidity and sharp taste make it a perfect popular dish for the hot summer. Please enjoy it. I went to the newly renovated Yoshinoya, which has been planning a new parent and child bowl for 10 years. I arrived at 12:40 on a Tuesday. There were 4 people in the restaurant. The new counter is slightly angled, creating a good distance between seats. Each seat has an outlet and USB tap for charging. I ordered the parent and child bowl as a large size with a salad set. The total cost was 786 yen. The food arrived in about 3 minutes. The miso soup was good, the salad was fresh, and the parent and child bowl looked appetizing. The egg was creamy with a mild soy sauce flavor. The chicken was not too strong in taste, but lacked depth. Overall, the dish was a bit lacking in flavor, especially when compared to the stronger miso soup. Yoshinoya's beef bowl is still the best choice. I would stick to that next time. The Gotanda store has also been renovated and now offers karaage. It was my first time having karaage don since I tried it at the Akabane store before. The dish came with 3 pieces of karaage, cabbage, and mayonnaise. It was delicious.
