Three weeks before Tokyo started buzzing, I had lunch with my close cousin's wife. She loves hotel buffets, but this time we changed plans and visited a Chinese restaurant in Nihonbashi instead. Despite being located in a commercial building, it had a hotel name. Many regular customers were chatting with the staff. - Date and Time: February 20, 2020 (Thursday) at noon - Purpose: Lunch with my close cousin's wife - Order: Dim sum course (3,980 yen), 2 draft beers (870 yen each) - Order to Service Time: Approximately 1.5 hours until we finished eating - Food Impressions: The appetizers were all delicious and went well with the beer. The hot dim sum dishes were freshly steamed, with the juicy soup dumplings being a highlight. The crispy shrimp paste spring rolls were a favorite. The dessert of sticky rice dumpling, almond jelly, and baked sweets filled us up. The course was smoothly served with no stress. The beer was a bit pricey for lunch, but it had a great refreshing taste. - Recommended Points: The calm and good service left a positive impression. It would be nice if the lunchtime alcohol was a bit cheaper, as having 2 beers added up. The food was delicious overall and satisfying.

I made a reservation by phone on the same day. I visited after shopping and watching a movie in Nihonbashi. As someone with many dislikes, trying a new Chinese restaurant was quite challenging for me. I don't usually order course meals except for lunch. If told that only courses are available, I ask if changes can be made to the dishes I don't like. This time, I was told that I could choose individual dishes and share them, so I went with that option. I was quite hungry, so I didn't take many photos. We had jellyfish salad, fried crab claws, 3 dim sum dishes, hot and sour soup, sweet and sour pork, shredded pork with green peppers, and yakisoba with thickened sauce. I also ordered two desserts just for myself. I really liked the fruit almond jelly, it was refreshing and perfect after the Chinese meal. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend the fried crab claws, which I think were around 1,800 yen. They had a generous amount of crab meat and were great value. I want to eat three by myself! I don't have a photo, but I'll take one next time. The manager, a gentleman, was very kind and made me feel comfortable enough to visit again. While I can't give up the Shanghai crab and Peking duck at the Chinese restaurant I usually go to, I might consider switching to this one for regular visits.

I asked for recommendations and came to this restaurant! I had the lunch set (shrimp chili, beef and vegetable stir-fry) and the crab roe shark fin soup. The crab roe shark fin soup was rich and delicious, with a thick and creamy soup. The shrimp chili had large, juicy shrimp. I would love to visit again!

Delicious. I had the Peony Course, the appetizer, and the braised sea cucumber were amazing with the sauce or soup. The sea cucumber was substantial, and the Peking duck was tasty, although just one piece was a bit lacking. The combination of duck meat, skin, and green onions was exquisite. The seafood stir-fry with shrimp, crab, abalone, and vegetables was delicious. The abalone was particularly good. The beef steak had a black bean sauce, giving it a Chinese flavor despite its Western appearance. The XO sauce fried rice had a distinct okra taste, a dish not commonly found in typical Chinese restaurants. The dessert of mango mochi was okay, but the almond jelly was delicious. I would come back just for the almond jelly, it was that good.

Nice to meet you. Hotel Okura has a great atmosphere and service. Today, I had a bottle of 2019 Crozes-Hermitage white wine, which had a crisp acidity balanced with fruity notes. The dishes were all carefully prepared. The honey-glazed char siu appetizer had a hint of sweetness and mustard, complementing the dish well. The shrimp and jellyfish were both prepared perfectly, with the jellyfish providing a nice crunchy texture. The shark fin soup had a soy sauce base, and while it wasn't a full shark fin experience, it still had a good texture. The shrimp and dried scallop spring rolls were flavored with miso, giving a clear taste and a crispy texture, paired well with Asian sweet chili sauce. The beef miso stir-fry was delicious, with tender beef and a perfect balance of flavors. The shrimp dish, prepared with chestnut flour, had a firm texture and a rich taste. The fried rice was light and flavorful. Finally, the almond tofu dessert was smooth and rich, with a fragrant almond flavor. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I look forward to trying a different course next time!

I visited Hotel Okura Peach Blossom Forest. Today's dinner was excellent. The atmosphere, service, lighting, and air conditioning were all perfect. I ordered the course meal. The appetizers, especially the rich and delicious shark fin soup with crab and egg, were outstanding. The Peking duck was also delicious with an elegant taste. From the main course to the fried rice, everything was great. The almond tofu dessert was finely crafted and superb. Truly a wonderful experience at Hotel Okura Peach Blossom Forest. This is the best yakisoba I have ever had! The yakisoba with five ingredients costs 2189 yen. The length, thickness, and level of cooking of the noodles are just perfect for me. The combination of shrimp, squid, pork, pork belly, and various vegetables with the sauce is also just right for my taste. It was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere and service were also excellent! I will definitely visit again!

"The Okura Tokyo" underwent a renewal a few years ago. The entrance maintains a traditional charm, with a serene Japanese ambiance that is both open and peaceful. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by about 10 staff members before being seated. I opted for a reasonably priced lunch course in a private room. The hospitality, from the hotel staff to the restaurant staff, was impeccable, just like when ordering the highest-grade dinner course. Every aspect, from the guidance to ordering, serving dishes to a large group, timing, and presentation, was top-notch. For a celebratory occasion, I purchased a bouquet from the hotel's flower shop, and it was brought to the restaurant at the perfect moment as requested. The surprise gesture by the staff with the bouquet before dessert was outstanding and something that is hard to come by elsewhere. The flavors of the food were elevated by the excellent service, especially evident in the quality of the soup. Being able to relax in the spacious lobby after the meal is another reason to appreciate this restaurant at "The Okura Tokyo." I will continue to support them, and I am grateful to the staff for their exceptional service.

I made a reservation and visited at 6:00 PM on Friday. The service was polite from the moment I entered, with detailed explanations of the dishes and drinks. I had the course meal, starting with an assorted appetizer, followed by crab egg shark fin soup, Peking duck, seafood stir-fry, and fillet steak, all of which were delicious. It was our anniversary, and they even prepared a special anniversary dessert beyond the regular sweets, which made it a memorable experience.

I visited for a preview. It was an early dinner on a Monday, so it wasn't too crowded, which was nice. As expected from the Hotel Okura group, the food was delicious, the service was good, and it was comfortable. It was a preview for a dinner event with about twenty people that will take place in a few days.

For lunch, I went to the Chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor of Hotel Okura to have lunch. I wanted to eat fried rice for lunch, so I ordered the five-flavor fried rice without hesitation. I couldn't resist the tantan noodles either, so I ordered them as well, and for dessert, of course, I ordered almond jelly. The five-flavor fried rice was served with three large prawns, making a great impression. The seasoning was also perfect for the fried rice. The soup that came with the fried rice had an elegant flavor and was incredibly delicious. By the time I finished the fried rice, the tantan noodles were served. These were also exquisite. They had a refined taste. Since the fried rice was just the right amount, I was able to finish the tantan noodles easily. I visited the restaurant Momokalin in the calm atmosphere of the commercial facility YUITO, where you can enjoy delicious authentic Chinese cuisine, around 12:30 on a holiday. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles (2,200 yen) and a Qingdao Beer Gold (1,100 yen). The Dan Dan noodles had a rich, smooth, and elegant flavor. The aroma of sesame spreads in your mouth. It was very delicious! The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and has a calm atmosphere, and the service from the staff was wonderful. I had a great time. Today, I went to the Chinese restaurant Tao Yuan Lin at Hotel Okura in Nihonbashi. The highlight was definitely the shark fin soup. It was served as the second dish after the appetizer platter. Authentic Chinese cuisine is all about shark fin. It was delicious! Next, we had the classic Peking duck, which is my wife's favorite. Every dish was top-notch as expected from Okura. It was a wonderful meal! Thank you!

I had the lunch course and everything was delicious with just the right amount of food. I had to catch a train soon so I got the fried rice to go, and they wrapped it nicely for me. The service was polite and I left feeling satisfied. I would like to go back when they have new menu items.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is calm. The reception and guidance are polite, which I appreciate. I have been here several times and every course menu dish is always delicious. This is my favorite place. The special appetizer with peach blossom forest grilled dishes is 2420 yen, and the five-ingredient yakisoba is 2068 yen. The appetizer includes jellyfish, salmon, shrimp, turnip, grilled pork, and peanuts. I was happy to have fresh salmon. I enjoyed the jellyfish, shrimp, grilled pork, and everything else was very delicious. The five-ingredient yakisoba is my favorite here. I don't think I will update for a while. The thinness and length of the noodles, the chewiness, the grilling, and the flavor of the sauce all perfectly match my preferences. The atmosphere and service are luxurious, and although the prices are a bit high, I believe it's worth it. I will definitely visit again.

This is my favorite place. The special appetizer with grilled dishes costs 2420 yen, the mixed yakisoba costs 2068 yen, and the dim sum set costs an additional 1210 yen. The appetizer includes a variety of ingredients such as jellyfish, salmon, shrimp, whelk, yam, grilled pork, and peanuts. The seasoning of the jellyfish is exquisite, the shrimp has a rich flavor, and the grilled pork is very delicious. The fresh salmon was also a good impression for me. The dim sum set includes spring rolls, steamed dumplings, and almond tofu. The crispy spring rolls with a perfect balance of filling are the best at this restaurant. The steamed dumplings are also luxurious with one shrimp dumpling and one shark fin dumpling. The mixed yakisoba was the best I've ever had with perfectly grilled noodles and ingredients. The service and atmosphere were great, and although it's a bit pricey, I felt it was well worth the value. I will definitely visit again.

The atmosphere is much more casual than the Peach Blossom Forest inside Hotel Okura, making it easy to enjoy with children. They also have kids' chairs. The food is always delicious no matter what you order, which is great. As expected from Hotel Okura. The adults ordered a course meal, while the children ordered dim sum and fried rice a la carte. We couldn't finish everything, but they kindly packed the leftovers in a Tupperware for us to take home. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Noodles are similar to Toranomon, with a slightly different soup flavor and toppings. The noodles are slightly firm with a chewy texture. They have a strong wheat flavor. The soup is lightly salted with a refreshing taste of acidity. The toppings are well-seasoned, creating a good balance. The chicken chashu with basil-like flavor is excellent. The well-balanced texture of the noodles, the seasoning of the soup and toppings make it delicious.

It has become my favorite place. The special appetizer at Momokalin (per person) costs 2,200 yen, spring rolls cost 320 yen, and the five-ingredient yakisoba costs 1,880 yen. The appetizer consists of jellyfish, water octopus, salmon, head-on shrimp, small eggplant, roasted pork, chicken and walnut rolls, and peanuts. The water octopus is seasoned with red vinegar, the small eggplant with oil-drizzled chicken sauce, and the peanuts are marinated in aged liquor, providing a variety of flavors that were very delicious. The chicken and walnut rolls were especially good. The spring rolls were crispy with a flavorful filling, making them very tasty. The five-ingredient yakisoba had a reliable taste, with plenty of vegetables, shrimp, squid, roasted pork, and chicken. The Chiba branch was also delicious, but I found this one even better. The interior of the restaurant has a chic atmosphere with a luxurious feel. The service was excellent, and they always came to refill the tea pot at the right time. I will definitely visit again.
