I found out about this place on Twitter and had tried calling a few times, but it was always fully booked. Finally, I was able to visit today. The specialty here is the homemade dumplings. You can choose from about 10 different varieties. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was a bit unfamiliar as there were many regular customers, but the staff, especially the girls, were friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The dumplings were delicious. Additionally, you can order food from other nearby restaurants and have it delivered here. We ordered steak from the restaurant next door and had it delivered here.

I went to Hiroo for the first time in a while at the invitation of a friend. We visited "Snack Suika Shirai Gyoza" located in "Play.eat and work" in front of the station. There is a snack bar at the back of the food court. You can also sing karaoke, but it costs 2000 yen per hour, so it can end up being quite expensive if you stay for a long time. It's not bad, but you don't need to have women with you to drink, so I probably won't go there often. The watermelon cocktail was delicious, but the snacks are basically just sweets, so I wonder what the charge is for? It made me think about the system of the snack bar.

I was taken to a hidden gem in Hiroo by a senior whom I greatly respect. It had been a while since I last visited a snack bar, but despite its small size, it was cozy and the mama and staff were all very pleasant! The famous Shirai Gyoza was really delicious! Even though it was supposed to be a second round, I ended up eating several pieces haha. Moreover, the special paste that goes with the gyoza was a flavor I really liked, so I ended up buying some separately haha. I had a wonderful and delicious evening, and I will definitely visit again!

The bar I was aiming for was full, so I decided to check out this place that I had been curious about for a while. I arrived around 10 pm and there were about 6 customers already there. The shop has 8 counter seats, 2 table seats, and 1 box seat. The interior is themed around watermelons with lots of red decorations, very cute! The atmosphere is casual so you don't need to feel tense. There were 2 staff members at the counter, one of them in a casual hoodie. The beautiful mom was off that day, so I would like to come back on a weekday to see her. Please note that there is a charge of 2,000 yen per hour. They also provide a variety of snacks. The drink menu has a good selection of quality alcohol. This time, I tried two cocktails that were recommended: - Special Watermelon Cocktail: Cute, easy to drink, and delicious! Be careful as it's shochu-based, so it can make you tipsy if you drink too fast. - Homemade Lemon Sour: Slightly sweet, easy to drink, and delicious! The person next to me ordered the famous gyoza and the aroma was amazing, so we were all tempted to order it! - Shirai Gyoza: Delicious! They offer various condiments, and serve them in a basket (laughs). Normally it's 6 pieces, but if you feel like having more, they can make as many as you want. They also have other options like green pepper gyoza and seasonal gyoza, so you can do a half & half with those as well.

Got off at Hiroo Station and immediately entered "Eat Play Works". Visited for a New Year's workshop event. There is a cute neon sign for "Snack Suika" right outside. Inside, there is a counter and a booth seat. The interior is cute with a red watermelon theme. The beautiful owner of the shop is also a cooking researcher. The specialty dumplings were served. They were delicious! Both the regular dumplings and the green chili dumplings were delicious. They are sold as "Shirai Gyoza". They were by far the most delicious dumplings I've had recently. Having a New Year's party at a snack bar... I regretted having a light meal at my friend's Italian restaurant before coming here. I will visit again with an empty stomach next time! A snack concept restaurant located inside the eat play works facility in Hiroo. Tucked away a bit from the other dining booths on the same floor, it was bustling when we peeked in after our meal. Luckily, we were able to snag a booth, but it was packed with people. The lively and cheerful mama, delicious drinks, and stylish customers from the Hiroo area created a lively neo-snack atmosphere. As we enjoyed our drinks, we ran into an acquaintance. Small world, right? It was crowded with customers coming in one after another, so we only stayed for one drink, but we look forward to going back and enjoying ourselves at a more leisurely pace next time.

Snack Suika and Shirai Gyoza's new dish is lamb dumplings with a sunrise lamb meat twist, and I love coriander so I added plenty of it! Of course, you can also have it without.
