On November 12, 2021, a customer asked, "Do you know a place where Shanghai crab is delicious?" I visited again that day and ordered a la carte dishes along with Shanghai crab. Of course, there are course menus available as well, but if there are Chinese people present who can read the menu, ordering a la carte is also a good option. We started with a "assorted appetizers" including minced sea cucumber and tofu, sweet and sour spare ribs, char siu, and drooling chicken. Even though we didn't order a course menu, I was satisfied with the char siu that I like, and the seasoning was gentle. The first appetizer was a good size. Next, we had "steamed three-yellow chicken," which is a famous local chicken in Shanghai. It is steamed and has a texture similar to Singaporean chicken rice, but the yellow skin sets it apart. It is served with a soy sauce and ginger dipping sauce, and the meat is tender and slightly pink near the bones. Then we had "stir-fried river shrimp," a rare delicacy in Japan. The meat is firm and tender, seasoned with salt, but you can also drizzle vinegar on it to your liking. It's best enjoyed in one bite with a spoon. We also tried the "spicy stir-fried cauliflower and pork belly," which is seasoned with miso, doubanjiang, Sichuan peppercorns, and chili peppers. It's spicy and a bit oily, but it may go well with white rice. The highlight of the meal was the "Shanghai crab," both male and female priced at 4,000 yen each. In November, the females with eggs are delicious, while the males are in season from mid-November, with rich and creamy roe. Shanghai crabs are known for their particularly sweet meat. The staff will even help you remove the shells at no extra cost, making it easy for those who are unsure how to eat them. For dessert, we had a white wood ear and ginkgo nut soup. As a complimentary treat, it was refreshingly sweet. We enjoyed two beers, five highballs, and a bottle of Shaoxing wine "Shikumen Xiankou." The owner and chef of this restaurant is from Shanghai, so the flavors are authentic and not tailored to suit Japanese tastes, allowing you to experience the true taste of Shanghai cuisine. This place is recommended for those who find eating Shanghai crab troublesome or are unsure how to eat it. The total bill for two people was 29,300 yen. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I was a bit hesitant after reading reviews about Hongo Chuka, but the lunch was affordable and had a casual atmosphere. For some reason, they served oranges first, which was a bit strange, but I ordered the "negi something" noodles (I couldn't remember the Chinese characters). Instead, yakisoba was served. The taste was delicious, and I'm curious about other menu items, so I'll definitely visit again!

Today's meal was absolutely delicious again! I had Shanghai cuisine that is hard to find outside of China. A Japanese friend who is from Shanghai introduced me to a restaurant in Ginza that serves delicious Shanghai cuisine. The Shanghai crab there is also of very high quality.

The Shanghai cuisine restaurant serves delicious dishes with flavors close to the authentic taste. Although the interior of the restaurant doesn't have a Chinese atmosphere at all (lol), it has become our family's favorite spot to visit. They also offer delivery service, so if you live in the area, it's definitely worth trying out.

It was delicious! I tried the #20 lunch menu for the first time and asked the staff for their recommendation. The scallion oil noodles are famous and popular, but the staff recommended this dish instead. It has a slightly spicy soup with beef and seafood, and clear flat noodles. The soup was so tasty! Just the right amount of spiciness that makes you want more. You can get free refills of rice. It's a dish that women would like. The side soup had a strong animal broth flavor, I would pay for it alone. Dessert was included, a light and slightly sweet gelatin-like treat. All this for 1200 yen and I was able to pay with PayPay. Great deal! I'll definitely come back!

The tsuyu soba with plenty of leeks was delicious, with a flavorful soup. The chashu inside had a strong star anise flavor. For first-time visitors at lunch, I recommend either this or the chicken soba. The dessert varies depending on the season, such as seasonal fruits or jelly. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The owner of the restaurant is from Shanghai and serves as the chef, offering authentic Shanghai cuisine with a light flavor. The atmosphere is more relaxed compared to Chinese restaurants in Ikebukuro. Highly recommended dishes include Shanghai scallion oil noodles and flower glue chicken soup. "Flower glue" is a high-quality ingredient made from the dried stomach of fish, which may not be familiar in Japan but is popular in China. It is rich in collagen, good for beauty, and similar to shark fin.

I came across this restaurant on Foreign Deb Hassy's Instagram. Originally, I was planning to go to Jaws Shanghai, but there were so many people waiting in line before opening that I decided to leave. I wandered around and ended up visiting this place instead. Inside, there were only Chinese staff members. Well, it's no surprise they weren't very friendly. The recommended fragrant garlic chive soba was nothing special.

Visited for lunch to enjoy my favorite crab meat tofu. The lunch deals here have the best value compared to dinner. Most of the customers seemed to be Chinese residents in Japan, as Chinese language was being spoken in the restaurant. Although crab meat tofu wasn't on the lunch menu, they kindly made it upon request. Dessert was persimmon, but sometimes it can be jelly or other fruits. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I visited for lunch for the first time. Most likely, the majority of customers are Chinese, and at lunchtime, you can experience the taste of everyday home cooking. The cost performance is outstanding for dinner, but for lunch, the quality and satisfaction are unmatched. I plan to visit again with my friends next week.

I entered the restaurant for lunch and chose a la carte. I ordered Shanghai-style sweet and sour pork spare ribs, stir-fried white shrimp with salt, shrimp mayo, large meatballs simmered in soy sauce, garlic chive noodles, and almond tofu. The sweet and sour pork spare ribs are amazing! The balance of sweet and sour is just right, and it goes well with alcohol. Next, the stir-fried white shrimp is from Toyama prefecture. It's not easy to find shell-less white shrimp stir-fry, so if you like white shrimp, this is a must-try! It's incredibly delicious! The shrimp mayo is plump and delicious! It's irresistible for seafood and mayo lovers. Finally, the meatballs are huge and satisfying to eat. Now, onto the noodles! The aroma of garlic chives was wonderful, making it a fantastic dish! Lastly, the almond tofu dessert with nuts was a nice touch. Everything was delicious. Shanghai cuisine is the best! Thank you for the meal.

I love the mapo noodles at Shanghai cuisine Shiki Rokushi Kitchen! It was delicious as always after a long time. When you sit down, they serve you dessert first, this time it was watermelon! In autumn, it's usually mandarin oranges. The mapo noodles for 1300 yen come in a hot pot and the mapo tofu is really delicious! It's spicy and authentic. The chef used to work at a restaurant called Ajishanghai in Shinbashi, and now has opened a specialized Shanghai cuisine restaurant (not Sichuan). So the taste is guaranteed. The customers are mostly locals, but recently they can speak Japanese and the foreign feel is disappearing. The side dishes are cheap and generous in portion. Yet the restaurant is gorgeous with sparkling chandeliers. It's located under "Giovanni"! High customer spending! (a joke for those who understand) My hobby is food hunting, and I mainly post about the Ginza area on Instagram, where I have over 28,000 followers! Instagram: lunchkirakira (Ginza lunch)

Shanghai cuisine at Shiki Rikuji Kitchen, enjoying the spicy mapo noodles. When I opened the lid, there was no steam coming out, but the piping hot mapo and the numbing sensation of the Sichuan peppercorns were irresistible. The dessert was watermelon, which was a nice touch, although it came at the beginning (laughs). Should I even call it dessert if it comes first? Maybe it's meant to cleanse the palate? I wonder when is the right time to eat it? Lately, the restaurant has always been fully booked, and I've been turned away. This time, thanks to my foodie friends who arrived before noon to secure a table, I was able to visit after a long time. There were many customers from the mainland, giving the place a touristy vibe. Watching people leisurely sharing dishes with beer in hand, regardless of lunchtime, made me want to come back and take my time. With a good variety of menu options, it's better to go with a group.

Located on the 9th floor of a building in Ginza 7-chome Hanatsubaki Street, this Chinese restaurant was chosen for its "drooling chicken tempura set" on the first floor menu. However, upon arrival, the reviewer was disappointed to be seated next to a quiet customer who was already eating. The extensive menu on the table did not list the "drooling chicken tempura set," so the reviewer ended up ordering a peanut and chicken stir-fry with chili for 1000 yen. The food arrived quickly, with soup, watermelon, a small portion of rice, and the main dish coming within minutes. The reviewer struggled with the balance of rice and the main dish, as well as the use of large and small plates and spoons. Despite this, the spicy chicken stir-fry on top of rice was enjoyable, especially when paired with beer or Shaoxing wine. As more guests arrived around noon, the reviewer paid using a cashless method before the neighboring customer, and later discovered that the "drooling chicken tempura set" was actually a menu item from a different floor and restaurant.

Located on the 9th floor of a building in Ginza 7-chome, this authentic Shanghai cuisine restaurant is filled with staff and customers from the mainland, making it difficult to hear any Japanese. I tried the highly recommended scallion oil noodles, fragrant leek noodles, and dumplings for a holiday lunch. The scallion oil noodles were voluminous, but ordering it alone might get boring. The fragrant leek noodles were a masterpiece with thin Chinese noodles and simple ingredients like authentic char siu, leeks, and bean sprouts. The dumplings were like soft, juicy water dumplings with black vinegar sauce, so be careful not to burn yourself. Enjoy authentic Shanghai cuisine in Ginza and feel the excitement. The bright and clean interior, along with Japanese-speaking staff, also provide a sense of comfort. I heard that the steamed yellow chicken and seasonal hot pot are delicious as well, so gathering around a table and ordering various a la carte dishes might also be enjoyable.

Tonight, I attended a friend's birthday party. The menu for the celebration included two bottles of white wine, Shaoxing wine, and a special menu ordered by the owner, making it a luxurious and filling feast. Unlike the typical Japanese-style Chinese food we usually eat, this was very authentic Chinese cuisine. The dishes were served at a fast pace, but we managed to finish everything. The flavors were all new and delicious, and it was a fun and tasty dining experience. We quickly moved on to the second party, where we enjoyed a selection of special dishes from the restaurant's chef, including various appetizers, crab with Shaoxing wine, jellyfish, pickled vegetables, black-bone chicken soup, fukahire sashimi, eel, wagyu beef, century egg, salted egg yolk, red bell pepper, red shrimp oil noodles, mango jelly, and a birthday cake. #ShanghaiCuisine #SeasonsLandKitchen #AuthenticShanghaiCuisine #Ginza #ChineseCuisine

♡----Ginza Lunch----♡ A lunch in Ginza that I had recently. I had been eyeing the Shanghai cuisine at Shikiriku Shokudo, which was popular for a while. Menu: ▫️51: Green Onion Oil Soba - 1080 yen ▫️49: Fragrant Garlic Chive Soba - 1080 yen The menu includes soup, side dishes, and fruit, and the items are so amazing that I wanted to remember them by their numbers. The luxurious interior and mostly continental customers gave a real sense of being in the homeland. I shared both dishes and enjoyed them thoroughly. I especially love the Garlic Chive Soba. Such an exotic experience. Thank you for the feast! They accept PayPay as a payment method. The famous leek noodles are indeed delicious. They are filled with plenty of leeks and have a few shredded slices of char siu as an accent. The interior of the restaurant gives off a feeling of being renovated from a former club. There are many Chinese customers and the majority of them are Chinese as well.

I visited this restaurant for lunch. I ordered the green onion oil noodles. The fragrant aroma of the green onion oil whets the appetite. The portion size was generous and the Shaoxing wine was delicious. It truly captures the authentic taste of Shanghai cuisine. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, and the food is incredibly delicious. The flavors are outstanding. It's a restaurant that makes you want to come back again.

The atmosphere is very authentic. All the staff are from China. The menu is diverse and offers dishes that are hard to find elsewhere. I visited because I wanted to try the "Scallion Oil Noodles" similar to the "Oyster Sauce Noodles" at "Kabin" in Yotsuya. The restaurant is located on the 9th floor of a building at the intersection of Hanatsubaki Street and Mikadzuki Street in Ginza 7-chome. After giving my phone number and name, I had to wait outside for about 30 minutes. When they called, I went back inside and was seated at a bright table by the window. The chairs were comfortable. I started with a Premium Malt beer to cleanse my palate, then had a Lemon Sour as my second drink. The food took a while to come out, so I ordered a second drink. The pan-fried dumplings were juicy with a thick skin and a generous amount of soup inside. The Shanghai-style braised pork was tender with the fat melting in your mouth. It wasn't too rich and went well with rice. The Five-Ingredient Fried Rice had a nice balance of moistness and the shredded pork added a delicious touch. The Scallion Oil Noodles were the highlight of the meal, with a simple yet flavorful sauce coating the thin noodles. The burnt scallions were the only topping, but they added a great aroma and taste. The portions at this restaurant are huge, with each dish being enough for two people. We couldn't finish everything, so we took some home for just 100 yen per pack. The packaging was excellent with a tight seal. This place seems perfect for enjoying with a group of friends.

I visited the restaurant because I was curious about the scallion oil mixed noodles. To my surprise, it was located in the Maekawa building, known for its yakitori. Even though it was a two-hour wait, the restaurant was packed with customers speaking Chinese, creating a lively atmosphere. The scallion oil mixed noodles (1080 yen) had a visually striking appearance that whetted my appetite. The thin noodles were well coated with a rich soy sauce base and scallion oil flavor. The seasoning was unique and quite strong in saltiness, but slightly overcooked. The dish came with American cherry tomatoes, pickled vegetables, and soup as sides.
