Located on the basement floor of Isetan Shinjuku is the French bakery "Hediard". The Paris flagship store went bankrupt 10 years ago, but it seems to be operated by a different capital in Japan. The bakery is not in the area where bakeries are gathered, but in the back on the left side from the entrance where luxury food is lined up. It may be hard to find as there are teas and sweets in the front, but bread is displayed in the back. They offer a variety of bread, from hard types to chapata baguettes. There are also deli-style, sweets, and quiches. The items I purchased this time are as follows: - "Pan au Riz Half" for 340 yen - "Casquette" for 400 yen - "Milk Coppe" for 300 yen - "Olive Chapata" for 330 yen - "Salmon and Dill Quiche" for 650 yen - "Fromage Mignon" for 360 yen The "Pan au Riz" has a chewy and fragrant crust that is delicious on its own. It goes perfectly with wine with cashews and dried figs. The "Casquette" is a large bread with a generous amount of potatoes and bacon inside, a favorite among children. The "Salmon and Dill Quiche" has large chunks of ingredients like zucchini. The combination of salmon and cream cheese is great, and the mild flavor is also good. The "Fromage Mignon" and "Olive Chapata" are also delicious. The store looks impressive but the prices are not too high, making it convenient even in Isetan.

Edel Bakery is located slightly away from the B1 floor where Isetan's bakery is located. I couldn't find it at first when I first came here. Today, I bought four items and ate them on the way home: An Butter Japone (I think that's the name), bean bread, meat pie, and melon bread with black tea. What these four items have in common is that they each have a unique twist to them! The base dough itself is delicious, so all of them are really tasty. The An Butter Japone is soft and slightly salty, which enhances the flavors of red bean paste and butter. The bean bread is sweet but occasionally has a hint of saltiness, making it irresistible! The meat pie has chunks of salami-like meat inside, giving it a satisfying texture. The melon bread with black tea has a pink raspberry powder on top, which perfectly complements the black tea flavor. The kids loved it too. Will definitely go back again!

My husband likes ISETAN Men's Building. Since his birthday is next month, we were looking for something he would like, but couldn't decide. The cafe there was crowded, so we moved to ISETAN. Oh, I know! My husband likes the cornets here. Let's buy some! Cornet Plain 260 yen, Chocolate 290 yen, Melon bread with tea 330 yen, Cream bread 280 yen, and half a Baguette Fromage for 500 yen. My husband doesn't usually like baguettes, but I thought he might eat it because it has cheese inside. However, he didn't eat it. But this Baguette Fromage is more delicious than any other store's! It's packed with so many kinds of cheese, and the smoked cheese is especially delicious. It was lucky that I could have it all to myself. The cornets were delicious as always, and my husband was very satisfied.

When you come to Isetan Shinjuku, you must also stop by here, Edieal Bakery. I was impressed by the deliciousness of the milk coppe I bought last time, so I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately it was sold out. I chose the peanut coppe that was recommended to me before. But the peanut coppe is also quite delicious, with a very rich paste. The Pain Au Lait Half contains dried figs and macadamia nuts. The egg yolk cream bread is small in size but has a very rich cream with a deep color. The Penie Milk Tea Cream has a milk tea cream unique to Edieal, filled with cream. The cream-filled fried donut is a snack bread. Each bread is made with good ingredients and carefully crafted, and the deliciousness shows. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again to find the milk coppe.

The curry bread was crispy and delicious! I also bought some sliced bread, which was tasty to eat as is or toasted. I made French toast with it later on, and it was so delicious that I felt like a French toast genius!

The Paris main store is a shop favored by celebrities. I arrived at 2:30 on Sunday and some items were already sold out. I bought the last piece of Komatsuna and walnut cheese chapata for 465 yen. It had a lot of walnuts and a strong Gorgonzola aroma, which made it delicious. The Komatsuna was a bit tough and the portion was small. The dough was cheesy on the outside, crispy, and chewy on the inside. When toasted, the cheese inside melted and became delicious. The cheese that spilled out on the outside was fragrant and salty, like a snack. The ingredients were evenly distributed, so it didn't get boring.

The paper bag was thick and stylish, very cute. I got the Onion Cheese Bread to go. It had tartar sauce inside, crispy onions, and the bread was soft and fluffy. The balance was perfect and it was incredibly delicious.

This is a bakery selected as one of the top 100 stores located on the basement floor of Shinjuku Isetan. It may be a bit hard to find as it is in the same area as other shops. There were many types of bread to choose from, but I decided to go with the scone. It had a simple taste, not too sweet, and was delicious.

I'm not sure if I made the right choice... but the bread was a little different from my taste. However, they packed it carefully in a paper bag with a red logo, thank you. Shinjuku Isetan was also holding a curry fair, and it was very crowded.

I visited around 4:45 pm on a regular day and was able to make a smooth purchase. I bought a croissant for 270 yen, which had a crispy and multi-layered texture with a slightly chewy feel and a rich buttery taste. I also purchased a salted butter roll for 210 yen, which had a fluffy yet slightly chewy texture with a strong buttery aftertaste due to the salt. It's a classic salt bread that I would like to come back for. Thank you for the meal.

[Eddiairu Bakery] - Baguette Eddiairu Listed in the top 100 restaurants on Tabelog, located in the basement floor of Isetan Shinjuku, the high-end feel of Isetan's deli floor is too much (laughs). A fairly light French bread with five cuts of soup, crispy and easy to eat, suitable for everyday use. #Shinjuku gourmet #Eddiairu Bakery #Eddiairu Bakery Shinjuku Main Store #French bread #baguette #personal gourmet memo #food diary of what I ate

I went to Isetan Shinjuku and visited Edi Earl Bakery that I was curious about. It was Saturday evening, with only a few people waiting, so it was not crowded at all. At first, I wandered around the basement in circles and couldn't find it, so I asked a guide. They told me it's on the left side when you enter the men's building from the food section. It's located at the back on the left side, so if you only look at the front, you won't find it. If you look carefully at the back, you'll find it. There were about two people standing in front of the showcase at a time, unable to decide what to order and feeling rushed. In the end, I bought a Croissant Amande for 350 yen and reheated it. It was filled with plenty of almonds and had a crispy texture. It was delicious. I also tried the Fruity Cream Cheese for 390 yen, which had cream cheese and sweet-sour dried fruits like cranberries inside. It was small but packed with filling, so it gave a sense of satisfaction. It's quite pricey, and honestly, I feel like it's not necessary to specifically choose this bread.

I arrived at Isetan in the early afternoon on a weekday and noticed long lines forming at various places, but this particular shop tucked away in the back didn't have much of a line. I waited my turn, ordered bread from the case when called, and got a Bacon Epi, a melon pan with black tea, and an egg yolk cream bread after being shown around a bit since it was my first time. Lastly, I asked about the most popular bread, but the staff seemed unsure, so I added a Vanilla French Toast that was nearby. Everything was delicious.

In the basement of Shinjuku Isetan, there is a bakery. Despite the crowded atmosphere with many customers, the bakery has a high rating of 3.6 to 3.7 points. One of the standout bakeries is the one I visited. They offer a variety of breads made with whole wheat flour, malt baguettes, and many other sweet pastries. The breads are all quite large and impressive. I tried the following items: Salted Butter Roll - a slightly firm dough with a delicious salty butter filling. The saltiness was quite addictive. Croissant - crispy and fluffy, but lacked a bit of the traditional croissant flavor. Overall, the bakery's large portions may not be ideal for eating on the go.

I got off at Shinjuku Isetan B1F, but I had a hard time finding the bakery corner tucked away in a vast luxury grocery store with a red and black theme. Some renowned shops like "Jean-Paul Hevin" cafe and "Pierre Herme Paris" with beautiful macarons are located in this area. The bakery "Paris Madelaine Square" has a long history and used to have a rivalry with "Fochon" across the square. Despite facing bankruptcy in Paris in 2013, the Japanese branch is still operating. The store mainly focuses on tea and jam, with prices reflecting the upscale location in Shinjuku. I bought croissant for 270 yen, cream puff for 280 yen, krapfen for 370 yen, and cornet plain for 260 yen. The store had staff positioned throughout, which made me feel a bit pressured. The croissant was crispy with a buttery aroma, while the krapfen had a fluffy texture with dried fruits. I also bought a cream puff, which had a rich custard cream filling. Overall, the bakery had a variety of pastries to explore.

- Lemon Pie: 367 yen When reheated, the surface becomes crispy while the lemon custard inside is not overly sweet, but rather has a refreshing lemon flavor. A lemon pie for adults that is light and refreshing. - Fruit Cake: 280 yen Loaded with rum, butter, and dried fruits, with plenty of hazelnuts on top. The dense texture of the cake is filled with ingredients. An old-fashioned pound cake with a classic deliciousness. The nostalgic taste of cherries and candied fruits colored in red and green. Definitely worth a repeat order!

I had a simple surgery coming up soon, so I treated myself to a visit here. There were several famous bakeries in the Isetan basement, and this was one of them. I bought four items to go. Each one was delicious with a rich flavor. They were all really tasty! Thank you for the meal.

I went to "Ediairu Bakery Shinjuku Main Store" to buy bread for a home drinking party. They have a good selection of hard bread. I tried the summer vegetable and black pork curry bread. It had a flavorful curry with chunks of pork, eggplant, paprika, and zucchini. I also had the komatsuna, walnut, and cheese ciabatta. It was filled with gorgonzola cheese and went well with wine. Both were delicious and satisfying. Thank you for the meal! ❤️

A cat who was saved by Anpanman and now lives in the bread factory. [Natokinman and Dokidoki-chan enter Anpanman's world together for the first time. As they approach their target, the bread factory, Natokinman immediately launches an attack. Natokinman: "Go! Let's machine-gun the bread factory with natto bacteria!" Dokidoki-chan: "What's a machine gunner?" Natokinman: "Shut up! Just follow my lead!" Dokidoki-chan: "You can't do anything by yourself." However, they are discovered by Yoguruto, who was sleeping on the roof, and are repelled by a giant, transparent shield protecting the bread factory. Unaware of this, the two are forcefully bounced back. Dokidoki-chan: "Why did this happen?" Natokinman: "Remember this!" The crisis averted, the residents of the bread factory dress up and head to a department store in the city. Watako-san: "It feels strange for us to dress like this, right?" Hamu-ojisan: "But I think it suits you. I'm sure the viewer ratings just went up by 1%." Anpanman: "Do I look cute?" Hamu-ojisan: "Anpanman, please stop. Don't wear bunny ears." Anpanman: "Oh, is it not allowed?" Watako-san: "At least take off the bunny ears. No one goes to a department store like that." Anpanman: "Okay." Hamu-ojisan: "Dokidoki-chan... who are you?" Natokinman: "Enough talking! Just hand over that bread!" Anpanman: "This bread is for everyone." Natokinman: "Shut up! Stop talking and hand it over!" Watako-san: "Just pay for it if you want it." Natokinman: "Don't talk about money, it's so uninspiring! Take this!" Natokinman scatters natto bacteria bombs throughout the bread festival venue.
