Visited the restaurant with a friend's recommendation. It was quite a walk north from Kannonura, where I usually frequent. Across from the famous NOAKE, there was a charming little shop overflowing with greenery. They had bird feed plates on the outdoor tables, which was thoughtful. Since it was a cold day, I opted for mulled wine, while my companion chose sparkling wine. The mulled wine was served in a ceramic cup, just like in Germany, and came with a slice of Stollen! The sparkling wine came with three cubes of cheese. The price for these alcoholic beverages was around 600-650 yen, if I remember correctly. I'm sorry, I forgot. We were pleasantly surprised by the snacks that came with our drinks, so we happily decided on our meal while enjoying our drinks and snacks. Although I was tempted by the toast and pizza toast, I couldn't resist the croissants displayed on the shelf near the entrance, so I ordered a croissant sandwich. The sandwich was filled with either potato or egg dish, and the other option was a pot full of potato salad. It also came with yogurt. The price for this was around 500-600 yen, if I recall correctly. Sorry again, I tend to forget things after a month. The croissant was big, crispy, and had a satisfying texture. The cozy atmosphere of the small shop, with neighbors chatting over coffee, was quite charming. It was a bit lively, but it felt calming. On my way out, I bought a loaf of raisin bread from the shelf. It was around 470 yen, I think. Another uncertain memory... The dense and chewy bread was delicious when toasted! The weight of the bread justified the price. I also bought a large croissant for 180 yen, which was a definite hit. I also tried the pretzel, which was good but not as memorable as the others. I also bought the colorful and intriguing fruit tart, which turned out to be incredibly delicious! I really liked it! The staff was kind and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. It was a charming shop in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Asakusa. I would love to go back just to buy their bread! By the way, my friend also bought the Stollen because it was delicious. It was a traditional and very tasty Stollen. I can't wait to go back and hear the owner's stories from his time in Germany next time I visit with my friend.
