I felt a calm atmosphere and could sense the staff's consideration, making me feel the high level of customer service. The quality of the meat was very high, especially the loin which I was satisfied with. The shishito pepper and green onion salad was also delicious. I would like to go back again.

Let's have a slightly luxurious lunch! I decided to go to Jojoen. I arrived around 11:30 on a holiday and was able to enter smoothly. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively and bustling, but the seating was separated so I could enjoy my meal without being bothered by the surroundings. I decided to splurge a little and ordered the mixed lunch with loin and kalbi, as the most affordable option had processed meat. I could choose the size of the rice from small, medium, or large. First, they brought out the Jojoen salad (cucumber and salad greens, with the cucumber peeled!), namul (spinach, bean sprouts, fern bracken, radish, and jellyfish), kimchi (Chinese cabbage, kakuteki, oi kimchi), rice, and wakame soup (a generous portion which was delightful). Next came a plate of meat (3 slices of loin, 4 slices of kalbi, and 2 shrimp). I also had a beer to accompany the meal. The meat was tender and juicy, with the rich flavor of the fat... I felt like I could keep eating forever. The beer had a creamy foam and was delicious. The namul had tasty seasoning, and the kimchi was spicy but delicious! I couldn't help but order another beer. For dessert, I had almond pudding and coffee. The pudding was creamy and delicious, and the coffee was strong and tasty. When I left the restaurant, there were a lot of customers waiting, with an announcement of a one-hour wait! Do people come here for their everyday meals? It was surprisingly luxurious! Having lunch on a special day like this will definitely make you happy. I wish I could afford to come here more often...

Marilyn Monroe's Jura-Kyon children's CM that made me excited when I was a child is familiar with the closing of the iconic Saigo Kaikan in front of Ueno Station, which has been 15 years already. UENO3153 has become beautiful, and within it stands the well-known prestigious restaurant, Yugentei. Even if you're not familiar, it's a restaurant that makes you happy for some reason. There are 70 branches nationwide, and I was surprised to learn that there are 3 branches in Ueno alone. When I asked why this restaurant is famous, I was told that it opened its first store in Roppongi in 1976. It completely changed the image of yakiniku restaurants, which were previously filled with smoke and frequented only by men, by becoming a trendy spot with a red carpet that captivated young women. It also introduced various innovations such as creating the Tan Shio dish, introducing the concept of "Joukarubi," popularizing smokeless roasters, popularizing a sukiyaki-based sauce, offering ice cream for dessert, and providing Lotte's Green Gum as a promise. This restaurant has played a significant role in shaping the current yakiniku restaurant style and is considered a pioneer in the industry. Lunch on this day was a luxurious experience with the Gourmet Lunch set for ¥6,500, which included specially selected sirloin, Joukarubi, and Tan Shio, along with a beautiful flower arrangement, Salad, Kimchi assortment, Namul, Rice, Soup, Dessert, and Coffee. The set's contents reflect what Japanese people consider normal for a yakiniku restaurant. The additional Senmai sashimi was also delicious. I couldn't help but feel nostalgic for dishes like Yukke sashimi and Kobukuro sashimi that are no longer available. I wonder if they will make a comeback someday? It was a great feeling to enjoy plenty of alcohol from noon. The thick-cut Tan Shio and Harami were also delicious as always. The atmosphere and service in the private rooms were top-notch, and I left satisfied with my experience at Yugentei. I suddenly became curious about the connection between Yugentei and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I couldn't find an answer after researching, but I saw everyone taking JoJo poses in front of Yugentei, so I imitated them before leaving. If anyone knows the secret, please let me know.

It's Seryna, located right near Ueno Station. Consistently delicious. The grilled tongue wrapped in green onion salt is very tasty. It was a bit bothersome that the waiters seemed to be understaffed and took a while to come after being called, but the atmosphere and taste were perfect!

I visited as a thank you party for my boss's work. We were looking for a place to go and randomly stopped by here. Although the prices were a bit high as expected, the portion size and the sweet taste of the meat in every dish left us completely satisfied. The thick-cut salt-grilled tongue had a refined flavor and a tender, crispy texture that was delicious. The pot kalbi was marinated with vegetables, apples, and sweet chestnuts, all of which were exquisite. The generous portion of kalbi had a great chew to it. The hormone platter included liver, tripe, and hormone, all of which had no unpleasant smell and were tasty. However, it would have been even better if the liver sinew was removed for a better texture. The premium Japanese beef trio platter was my favorite, especially the fillet which had a delicate sweetness from the fat. Although it wasn't part of the course, we were pleasantly surprised to receive ice cream with warm Japanese tea at the end. Even at a table, it felt like a private room, and we were able to enjoy our yakiniku leisurely. Despite the high prices, I believe the overall cost performance is good. Thanks to the Central Kitchen, it seems that the quality of meat is consistent across all branches. If you're ever unsure where to go, Seryna might be a good choice in any city. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited for lunch. The lunch set at 3,000 yen is a bit on the expensive side, but I thought it was worth it for a change. The salad and dressing were really delicious. The kimchi was also elegant and exquisite. The soup was fantastic too. The rice was shiny and perfect. The meat was of course delicious, and it was a truly happy time.

I couldn't afford to dine at Yakiniku Jumbo at night, so I went for lunch instead. I ordered a course menu for around 3000 yen. The salad, namul, and soup were delicious. When the meat arrived, I could tell it was going to be amazing even before tasting it. The visual presentation was satisfying, the sizzling sound while cooking was delightful, and the aroma was perfect. The dipping sauce was excellent, and the meat itself was top-notch. It was a blissful moment of happiness. I want to maintain this lifestyle where I can enjoy such delicious food even during lunchtime. As I write this comment, I can't stop drooling just thinking about it. However, I might choose a different yakiniku restaurant for lunch next time because Yakiniku Jumbo is a bit pricey.

We made a reservation for 5 people, so we ended up getting a private room since there were no good tables available where we could all sit together. It was a bit more expensive, maybe around 10% extra, but we decided to go for it. We started with some Taittinger champagne, which was quite luxurious. Overall, the food was delicious and elegant.

Visited with my family. Trying to decide what to eat for dinner. Wanted to eat delicious food before the kids started acting up, so we decided to go to Jyuban Shokudo because we saw their sign. Surprisingly, it was our first visit since having kids. They were very friendly to families with children, and the food was consistently delicious. It was definitely the right choice to go there!

It was my first time at Seryu-en. It is a well-known high-end yakiniku chain, and I had always wanted to visit at least once, so I was glad that my wish came true. It was not as expensive as I had thought, yet the food was very delicious. I also really liked the walnut mochi that I bought as a souvenir. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

It's been so many years since I last visited Seryu-en. It still exudes a sense of luxury. I ordered a la carte instead of a lunch set. I'm not a fan of kalbi, so I ordered harami, horumon, mino, and tan. I also ordered half sizes of naengmyeon and kookpa, which was a nice option. I had just been to a yakiniku restaurant recently, so I could immediately tell the difference (laughs). Finally, they served ice cream - even the ice cream was delicious. It was a consistently good taste.

Jojoen, which has expanded its stores nationwide, adopts a central kitchen system where procurement and processing are carried out collectively to provide consistent deliciousness at all stores. The headquarters for this is the "Jojoen Food Factory" built in 2007. The two-story factory built on a 1000-tsubo site has a total floor area of 1000 tsubo. It is also known as the "factory without machines," with most processes being done manually, a characteristic feature. The "Jojoen Salad" has been the most popular menu item since the founding. The salad seasoned with sesame flavoring on salad greens and cucumbers is carefully prepared to provide the same taste at all times. The sauce is adjusted according to the moisture content of the salad greens and cucumbers, and the amount made at once is limited to two servings each time an order is received. Yakiniku, said to have originated in Korea, has developed and evolved uniquely in Japan. For example, the "yakiniku sauce." This is based on a mixture of sugar and soy sauce, with sesame oil added to the base of "sukiyaki." In recent years, it has become common to distinguish between "Korean barbecue" and "Japanese barbecue" even overseas. Yakiniku sauce can be said to be a taste created by Japanese culture.

I love harami, so I ordered a harami dish and a mixed lunch set that didn't include harami. The mixed lunch set included 4-5 pieces of kalbi, 4 pieces of loin, 2 small shrimp, 4 types of namul, 3 types of kimchi, salad, and wakame soup. The drink options were oolong tea, coffee, and calpis. I feel like the harami tastes better at night, but maybe that's just me laughing. I thought the harami at the Ueno Hirokoji store I visited six months ago was tastier. The atmosphere was nice, with almost private rooms and polite staff providing good service.

I arrived in Ueno in the early afternoon. The restaurant I had my eye on had stopped taking orders, so I had to find another place (laughs). While walking around, I remembered Jumboen and decided to give it a try since I had always wanted to eat there. The atmosphere of the restaurant was elegant, and the service was fantastic. Looking at the menu, I saw that the prices were as rumored. I ordered a carefully selected three-point assortment of tongue, a three-point assortment of liver, thick-cut salt-grilled liver, and a limited lunch special meat called Yukke. I toasted with beer and then switched to wine. The meat was so delicious that we ended up finishing two bottles (laughs). It was indeed pricey, but the taste was worth it. It's no wonder it's so popular. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

There are many meat-serving restaurants in UENO3153. Today, I tried going to Jojoen. It's a place where you can enjoy high-quality meat without feeling intimidated by the location of Ueno. This is "Jojoen Ueno Shinobazu-guchi Store" located in Ueno Park, Taito-ku, Tokyo. The nearest stations are Keisei Ueno Station on the Keisei Main Line, and Ueno Station on the JR Yamanote Line, JR Tohoku Main Line, JR Joban Line, JR Keihin-Tohoku Line, Tohoku Shinkansen, Yamagata Shinkansen, Akita Shinkansen, Joetsu Shinkansen, Hokuriku Shinkansen, Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, and Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. I wanted to have yakiniku for lunch around Ueno Station, and found "Jojoen Ueno Shinobazu-guchi Store" inside UENO3153. I went in and it seemed like there were no other customers. I was guided to my seat by a staff member and sat down. The seating was in a semi-private room style, with partitions separating the neighboring seats. From the menu, I chose the Yakiniku Lunch [B] for 4510 yen including tax, which included special roast beef, kalbi, shrimp, pickles, salad, namul, rice, soup, dessert, and a lunch drink. I chose iced coffee for the lunch drink. The taste of the special roast beef, kalbi, and shrimp was indeed good. I'm not a fan of kimchi and namul, so I didn't eat them. Overall, it reminded me of "Seien", "Daitokuju", and "Heijo". In terms of taste, I felt that "Gyusaburo" was better. The best thing about "Jojoen" is that you can enjoy a leisurely meal in a semi-private space. I was able to have a luxurious time eating slowly near Ueno Station. Thank you for the meal.

I had been thinking of trying out Yakiniku restaurant "Jojoen" for a while, as I usually prefer individual restaurants over chain restaurants. Finally, I decided to give it a try. I started with their famous Jojoen salad. The dressing was indeed delicious, but it only had cucumber and lettuce. The way they wrap the tongue in onion sauce and grill it was a unique style that I enjoyed for the first time. The ribs, harami, and lean meat were just the right size and paired well with the sauce. Overall, the quality of the meat was good, and what stood out the most was the attentive service of the staff, which is probably their brand. I had a delicious and pleasant time at Jojoen.

Once every 4 years, the Meat Day ⛳️ reflection meeting is all about yakiniku, and when it comes to yakiniku, it has to be Jyuban'en Ueno. With four locations, due to circumstances, we chose the Shinobazu store. All locations offer the same menu, quality, and price. The old-fashioned tare yakiniku, both kalbi and loin, are top-notch compared to other stores. It's a reliable, safe, and consistently delicious choice. Truly the number one yakiniku restaurant. The final ice cream was panda-themed, fitting for Ueno.

This is a high-class yakiniku restaurant. My niece came to visit and said she wanted to eat expensive meat, so we visited this place. I have been to other similar restaurants before, but this was my first time in Ueno. I have heard about how they neatly arrange the meat and spread out the tongue salt, giving it a pioneer-like style. I only use this place for special occasions, but the food is really delicious, isn't it?
