After 8 PM at Kanda Station North Exit. Heading to CoCo Ichibanya. Tonight, let's add some toppings! Pork cutlet curry with shrimp, clam, and chicken toppings. The rice is 200g. Although the curry contains diced chicken, when eaten with shrimp and clams, it feels like eating crab meat~(* ̄∇ ̄)ノ By the way, the protein content per 100g is 25g for chicken, 20g for shrimp, and 6g for clams. Tonight, I got a decent amount of protein intake. Total cost was 882 yen. And hey, what if the topping was not chicken but imitation crab meat? Just leave me alone~(-_-メ)

After 8 pm at Kanda Station North Exit. Went to CoCo Ichibanya. Chose the "Handmade Chicken Cutlet Curry" with the highest protein content of 34.0g on CoCo Ichibanya's website. The half vegetable topping rice weighed 200g. While waiting and watching the kitchen fry the chicken cutlet, the sound of cutting the cutlet rang out. Looks delicious! The half vegetable topping included potatoes, carrots, green beans, and onions. The freshly fried chicken cutlet was crispy and tasty! The rich sauce on top of the cutlet was thick. Although the flavor was good, I felt it lacked spiciness, so I added some spices from the table, and ended up choking on it. Enjoyed the curry with the highest protein content, feeling full and satisfied. The total cost was 1140 yen. And about the fat and carbohydrates being number one too? Leave that alone!

At 6:30 PM at Kanda Station North Exit. Went to CoCo Ichibanya. Ordered the following: Massaman Spice Curry (980 yen) with the standard rice portion of 250g. Wanted to reduce the rice portion to 200g to save costs, but the option was only for 150g. Opted for the standard portion as I tend to eat more when hungry at night, which ends up being more expensive. The restaurant was crowded, but the curry arrived in a few minutes. It was advertised to have the aroma of coconut and cinnamon, but the coconut scent was not very noticeable due to the rou. Achieving the coconut flavor like in Sangetsu no Mizu or Taprobane seems difficult. However, the spices like cinnamon were well pronounced in the curry. The ingredients included chicken, potatoes, and green beans. Other than the visually appealing ingredients, there seemed to be no diced or melted ingredients in the rou. The rice was topped with thinly sliced pickled daikon radish. Finished eating quickly as I was leaving early tonight, and headed home on the Chuo Rapid Line... Standing all the way to Tachikawa in the crowded train... It's funny how I miss the pre-corona days when I could sit and return home from Kanda Station. Oh, and don't even get me started on how I miss the female colleagues at work who used to wear masks. Leave me alone~ (-_-メ)

At 9:30 pm at Kanda Station North Exit. Went to CoCo Ichibanya. I thought it wouldn't be too busy at the end of August, but other departments kept giving me unreasonable tasks, so I couldn't go on a food tourヽ(`Д´)ノ Ordered the following: Seafood curry + half vegetables (rice 200g). There weren't many customers in the restaurant at this late hour, and the curry arrived in a few minutes. The rich curry sauce was delicious, filled with squid, clams, shrimp, potatoes, carrots, onions... so many ingredients, it made me feel luxurious. And as for how poor I usually am? Mind your own business〜(-_-メ)

After 8 pm at Kanda Station North Exit. Went to CoCo Ichibanya. Due to the recent intense heat, I have been eating curry, steamed dishes, and yakiniku in rotation at night. It's almost September, so when will it start to cool down? I ordered the following: Seafood Curry (200g rice). There weren't many customers in the store, but delivery orders were coming in, so it took over 5 minutes for the curry to arrive. The curry was delicious with squid, clams, and shrimp in the normal tasty roux. Tonight's clams and squid had a tired texture due to the intense heat, haha. I fell asleep on the way back on the Chuo Rapid Line after a long time. Maybe I was able to shake off some of the heat fatigue. What, the shrimp didn't feel the intense heat because they were in the freezer? Just leave me alone~ (-_-メ)

This week, I used the 100 yen cashback offer at a restaurant called Aupay. I went there for lunch around 12 o'clock and was seated right away. I ordered the Chicken and Summer Vegetable Curry for 958 yen. The rice was normal, and I asked for the spiciness to be normal as well. The curry was packed with lots of ingredients. It had diced chicken, okra, asparagus, eggplant, cherry tomatoes, and plenty of summer vegetables. It was slightly spicy, easy to eat, and since it had a lot of vegetables, it felt light on the stomach. It's a good choice for when you don't have much of an appetite in the summer.

Kanda at 8:30 pm. I wanted to treat myself to something luxurious for dinner after saving money on station soba for lunch, but as usual, I had no appetite. I thought it wouldn't be good for my body to keep eating only seiro at Komoro Soba, so I went to CoCo Ichibanya instead. They still had a menu that said "Ends when sold out in July." I ordered the Chicken and Summer Vegetable Curry Rice, but I reduced the standard 300g portion to 200g. The spiciness level was standard. The restaurant was not crowded, but it took a little while for the curry to arrive. The mild roux paired well with cherry tomatoes, asparagus, okra, eggplant, and chicken. The chili pepper in the roux added a nice accent, and my appetite started to come back. I couldn't stop eating with the spoon and finished it all in one go. The total came to 906 yen. And no, you might be wondering if I don't have an appetite, why am I not losing weight? Just leave me alone〜(-_-メ)

I visited the curry shop "CoCo Ichibanya Kanda Station North Exit Store," located about a 2-minute walk from Kanda Station, on a weekday in August 2023 after 7 pm. The small shop was about 80% full with customers. I sat at the counter alone and ordered a "Beef Curry" for ¥718, "Half Spinach" for ¥121, "Natto" for ¥167, and "Level 4 Spicy" for an additional ¥88. After waiting for about 7-8 minutes, the food was served. The beef curry with Level 4 spiciness had a good balance of richness and heat. I enjoyed the familiar taste of the curry rice with the usual side of Fukujinzuke. Mixing the spinach and natto with the beef curry also tasted great. The combination of natto's mellow flavor with the spicy curry created a good balance. Choosing beef instead of pork was a good decision, and the half-size spinach topping was just right. I was able to fully enjoy the rich Fukujinzuke that is characteristic of CoCo Ichibanya. The portion size was satisfying, although the price of over 1,000 yen felt slightly high. The addictive taste of the curry made it worth it. The store had a slightly worn-out feel, and I felt a bit cramped, so I hope they will renovate the interior soon at the "Kanda Station North Exit Store."

The chicken and summer vegetable spice curry I was looking for was sold out, so I ended up ordering the seafood curry (rice 200g) instead. The curry arrived in about 5 minutes. It was delicious with squid, clams, and shrimp in the curry sauce. The squid and shrimp had a nice chewy texture. After quickly finishing my meal, I went to pay, but there was a customer struggling to pay with electronic money. I waited for a while, sipping on water, before finally paying 859 yen. And don't even mention the fact that there should have been a restroom on the Chuo Line for the ride home. Leave me alone!

Kanda at 9:30 pm. Limited dinner options at this late hour. Headed to CoCo Ichibanya near the north exit. Ordered the following: Chicken and Summer Veggie Spicy Curry Rice, standard 250g serving, standard spiciness. The staff, consisting of a male chef and an Asian female, were working hard in the busy restaurant. The curry took a while to arrive due to understaffing. The curry had a nice balance of spices that paired well with cherry tomatoes, asparagus, okra, and chicken. Couldn't stop eating and finished it all in one go. Paid 980 yen in the end. And as for reducing the rice to 150g, well, that plan went out the window!

At 9 pm in Kanda. Options for dinner are limited late at night. Went to CoCo Ichibanya at the north exit. Ordered the following: Chicken and summer vegetable curry rice, reduced from the standard 300g to 200g. Heat level was standard. The curry arrived in a few minutes. The mild roux goes well with ingredients like cherry tomatoes, asparagus, okra, and chicken. Couldn't stop eating and finished it all in one go. Paid 906 yen in total. Doesn't the name "Chicken and Summer Veggie Spice Curry" sound similar to last night's? Wasn't I supposed to reduce the rice to 150g? Leave me alone~ (-_-メ)

At 8pm in Kanda, I headed to CoCo Ichibanya near the north exit for some food. I ordered the Chicken and Summer Vegetable Spicy Curry (980 yen) with the standard 250g of rice. The spiciness level can be adjusted, but I chose the standard level because I didn't want the spiciness to overpower the other spices. The curry arrived in a few minutes, and it was packed with spices that I couldn't stop eating. I finished it all in one go. It would be nice if it were a bit cheaper though. Maybe if they offered a smaller 150g rice option for a slightly lower price, that would be great. But oh well, let's leave it at that.

I was informed by a friend on June 7th that CoCo Ichibanya now offers level 15 spiciness from June 1st to 15th. The next day, I found myself irresistibly drawn to CoCo Ichibanya Kanda Station North Exit store during snack time. Even though I'm on a diet. I regret my decision. I arrived around 2:35 PM, with 4 customers already inside. I sat at a counter seat near the entrance and looked at the menu. I ordered the Pork Curry @591 yen with level 15 spiciness (+130 yen), half vegetables (+125 yen), and onion and green chili pickles (+52 yen) as toppings, along with a salad set (+140 yen). A foreign staff member asked me if I had ever eaten level 15 spiciness before, to which I replied that it was my first time but I thought I could handle it. Later, I noticed on the menu that level 15 spiciness is only available to those who have completed level 10 spiciness before. I should have been asked if I had tried level 10 spiciness. My visits to CoCo Ichibanya are usually only a few times around the beginning of February for the spoons, so I didn't know that you could choose 150g of rice. After some research, I found out that you could choose 150g of rice even before, although the ordering method has changed over time. I was not aware that the option of choosing 150g of rice was available. The increase in sweetness used to be a paid service and a free self-service, but now it is only a free self-service. I didn't know that either. The salad and three types of dressing arrived 6 minutes after ordering, followed by the curry rice and onion and green chili pickles 7 minutes later. Despite the lack of customers, it felt like it took a long time. I prepared the salad with non-oil dressing, topped the rice with Fukujinzuke, and served the onion and green chili pickles on the side. The salad consisted of cabbage, lettuce, and corn. The Pork Curry (with half vegetables topping) contained carrots, potatoes, green beans, and pork. Since I am on a diet, I opted for the half vegetables topping, but it ended up increasing my sugar and carbohydrate intake. I should have just stuck with the salad. The onion and green chili pickles helped refresh my mouth. I liked them. Now, let me share my thoughts on the level 15 curry sauce. It has a stronger chili smell compared to level 10. While I could feel some spiciness, it wasn't significantly different from level 10. It wasn't too spicy, so I didn't need water while eating, and my mouth didn't hurt after finishing. (I drink water when I feel it's spicy, but I don't drink any if it's extremely spicy as it would make my mouth burn.) For those who eat curry frequently and consider themselves curry enthusiasts, I don't think this spiciness would be too challenging. I would love to hear your thoughts if you try it. It was my first time having 150g, and it was just the right amount. I plan to go for level 15, 150g next time as well. Thank you for the meal.

Kanda after 8 pm. I couldn't go drinking because I had to go home with equipment for tomorrow's event, so the choice of restaurants was limited. I went to CoCo Ichibanya at the north exit. The curry I had for lunch in Jimbocho that day was lacking in spiciness, so I was feeling unsatisfied. I ordered the following to add extra spice: Chicken and Summer Vegetable Spicy Curry (980 yen) with standard 250g of rice. The spiciness can be adjusted, but I chose the standard level to ensure I could still taste the spices. The curry arrived in a few minutes. The purple pickled onions that I disliked and left behind were gone, and the onions had returned to their original color. The curry had a strong spice flavor, surpassing the curry I had for lunch in Jimbocho. I finished every last bit, including the pickled onions. What, they're going to ban me from the curry shop in Jimbocho? Leave me alone~ (-_-メ)

At 8pm in front of Kanda Station North Exit. Went to CoCo Ichibanya. Ordered the following: Chicken Curry with Roasted Spices (200g of rice). The curry arrived in about 5 minutes. It had a flavorful roux made by roasting coriander, cardamom, turmeric, and chili peppers, along with roasted onions. The large pieces of chicken had a juicy texture. Finished eating in no time and paid 938 yen. The spiciness of chili peppers usually doesn't sit well with me, but the spices in this curry had a minimal impact on my body, allowing me to enjoy the flavor and spice. What, you think they should have given a discount if I had asked for less rice? Mind your own business! (-_-メ)

At 8:00 pm at Kanda Station North Exit. Went to CoCo Ichibanya. Unfortunately, the limited-time soup curry I wanted until the end of February was sold out. Ordered the following instead: Seafood curry (with 200g of rice). The curry arrived in about 5 minutes. It was delicious with squid, clams, and shrimp in the normal tasty roux. The squid and shrimp had a nice chewy texture. Finished eating in no time and paid the bill, which came to 859 yen. It's a 60 yen increase from last time. Prices keep going up everywhere due to inflation... My wallet is in trouble (-_-;) And don't even start with "Couldn't you have gotten the 150g rice to make it cheaper?" Just leave me alone! (-_-メ)

Before 9:00 pm at the north exit of Kanda Station. Went to CoCo Ichibanya. Thanks to today's lunch at Saizeriya, I didn't have any unnecessary snacks and was able to get a lot of work done. I ordered the following: Roast Chicken Soup Curry (990 yen). After a while, the curry and a separate plate of rice arrived. The curry had bite-sized roast chicken pieces, half-boiled eggs, potatoes, carrots, okra, eggplants, and other vegetables. When you eat the piping hot soup curry, your body warms up. What, it's 190 yen more expensive than today's Saizeriya lunch? Leave me alone.

Now I can go on my business trip with peace of mind haha. I ordered the following: Roast Chicken Soup Curry (990 yen). After a while, the curry and a separate plate of rice arrived. The curry had bite-sized pieces of roast chicken, half a boiled egg, potatoes, carrots, okra, eggplant, and other vegetables. Eating the hot soup curry warmed me up. Before 8 pm at the north exit of Kanda Station. Went to CoCo Ichibanya. Today, had a series of mentally exhausting meetings since the afternoon... and to make matters worse, my boss who wasn't invited suddenly joined in, keeping me trapped until late at night... my body felt so hot, like I might have a fever (-_-;) Ordered the following: Roast Chicken Soup Curry (990 yen) After drinking a glass of water, the heat in my body started to subside. Maybe I was just dehydrated. After a while, the curry and a separate plate of rice arrived. The curry had bite-sized pieces of roast chicken (5-6 pieces), half a boiled egg, potatoes, carrots, okra, eggplant, and other vegetables. When I ate the piping hot soup curry, my body started to warm up - (* ̄∇ ̄)ノ Oh, you might be thinking eggplant would cool down my body, right? Just leave me alone~ (-_-メ)
