Second visit. I arrived around 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without a reservation. The restaurant was popular among female customers and couples, probably because of its stylish atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised to see a new section in the menu for returning customers, which was a nice touch. This time, I decided to try their signature dishes: Uni Pudding (¥390) for a small but special treat, and Rare Meat Tofu (¥590) which had a sweet and sukiyaki-like flavor. In addition, I also enjoyed the daily sushi selection of Blackhead Seabream, Horse Mackerel, and Gizzard Shad, as well as Octopus, Mackerel, Shrimp, and Octopus (each ¥290 for 2 pieces, a good deal). I tried their Matcha Martini (¥750) which was shaken right in front of me, and their Lemon Sour (¥500) made with sushi vinegar, giving it a unique tanginess. Delicious.

Around 8:30 pm, I visited without a reservation. It was crowded, but I was able to be seated almost immediately. The seafood was fresh and delicious, while the meat was juicy and tender. The dessert at the end was also delicious with a chewy texture and sweet black syrup. The interior of the restaurant was bright, clean, and had a luxurious feel. It was a bit pricey, but I was completely satisfied and would like to go again.

The restaurant was very crowded. It might be difficult to get a seat even on weekdays without a reservation. The taste at this price was surprisingly good. The staff maintained a good distance and it was easy to relax. The counter surrounding the cooking area might seem a bit unsettling at first, but you quickly get used to it and there is enough space between the seats so it doesn't feel cramped at all. The place has a clean and stylish atmosphere, making it a great choice for a date. It's recommended for those who want to casually enjoy sushi that is both stylish and delicious at a good cost performance!

The quality exceeded the price, and it was very satisfying at a reasonable price. The sushi was delicious and came out at just the right intervals, allowing us to savor each bite. The service was also good. I would like to visit again.

I couldn't go to the restaurant I wanted to visit due to the consecutive holidays. I found this restaurant while wandering around with a craving for seafood in my mouth. They were able to seat me without a reservation. I was told that they only accept walk-ins until the next group, as they were fully booked with reservations after that. I ordered through my smartphone, which is quite modern. I started with a toast with beer. It seemed to have a cooling effect on my raised body temperature (maybe just my imagination?). After hearing their recommendations, I ordered a variety of sushi, sashimi, and some fried dishes that my companion always orders. We ordered a little at a time to avoid running out of space on the table. They offered a discount on a specific alcohol if you bought a sticker, so I decided to try it out. There is another nearby restaurant that uses the same system, so I might stick the sticker on my PC once it expires after about a year. The total bill was less than 8,000 yen. If I have the chance, I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

A casual sushi delight on Suehiro Street. Located near Suehiro-tei in sunny Shinjuku 3-chome, this place stands out for its quality, quantity, and value. Specialties include lemon sour, Kage-tora sake, and Hidaka-mi sake. The 4000 yen course menu is a generous spread of uni appetizer, mapo tofu, 5 pieces of sushi, plus smoked roast beef and eel with fermented butter. Indulge in foie gras with grated gold, tuna and pickled radish rolls, and a unique cowhide ice cream for a delightful texture. The meal ends with a satisfying finish of Imo from Oshima. Highly recommended for a full and happy belly.

I visited a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. The sushi rice was authentic with red vinegar. The fish was okay. The portion size of the side dishes was small, and the cost performance was so-so. You have to use your phone to scan a QR code to place orders, which can be a bit of a hassle if you're not used to it. There are outlets under the counter, so I recommend bringing a charger to prevent your phone from running out of battery.

On a weekday evening, I visited a certain famous sushi restaurant in Shinjuku San-chome with a well-known Instagrammer. The atmosphere of this place was great and the interior design was stylish. As a sushi and seafood lover, I was very excited! The sushi at this restaurant was delicious, but the "Rare Meat Tofu: 590 yen" was especially amazing!! It had a generous portion of rare meat and the sweet sukiyaki-style sauce was irresistible. I even vowed to try making it at home. The quality of this dish for 590 yen was unbelievable. Amazing cost performance. And the sushi! It was a definite hit! You could order as much as you wanted and it was super satisfying. And for dessert, the "Boku, Dorayaki" was fantastic. I absolutely love it. My excitement levels were through the roof!! I definitely thought I would go back to this place when looking for an izakaya in Shinjuku! Definitely check it out!

Hello, this is Mogusuke! Today I want to introduce a sushi bar called "Hibi Harebare" in Shinjuku San-chome. It's a stylish and cozy place where you can enjoy sushi and small dishes. The interior is beautiful and the atmosphere is great, with a counter that surrounds the kitchen. If you buy a sticker (200 yen) on your first visit, you can get a 100 yen discount on certain drinks from then on, making it quite reasonable. I personally recommend buying the sticker. They offer unlimited pickled ginger, so I like to order a lot and put it in my highball. From the second visit onwards, there are special hidden menu items that make you want to keep coming back. I tried a sushi platter with foie gras shaved luxuriously on top, and it was delicious! The fresh and reasonably priced sushi in this cozy sushi bar is really tasty! When you're in Shinjuku San-chome, be sure to stop by. - Price range: ¥4000 per person - Location: Yamaguchi Building, 3-6-9 Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo - Nearest stations: 2-minute walk from Shinjuku San-chome Station, 6-minute walk from Shinjuku Station - Ratings by Mogusuke: Taste - 3 mogus, Price - 3 mogus, Trendiness - 2 mogus, Ease of entry while being trendy - 3 mogus Recommended for: Solo dining, Small group drinking, Date night, Repeat date nights Fun Fact: Kochi Prefecture is the top producer of ginger in Japan, accounting for about 40% of the national shipment. Thank you for reading until the end. I would be thrilled to receive your follow, like, or comment.

We had a course meal with 3 people, drinking 5-6 cups each, and it didn't even reach 20,000 yen, so the cost performance is good! The interior is casual but with high design quality and a nice atmosphere. The food is delicious, especially the rare meat tofu, which is perfect for a rowdy drinking session. The atmosphere seems to be favored by women, as about 70% of the customers are female. Overall, there are no negative impressions! I would definitely want to come back to this place in Shinjuku. Highly recommended!

The cost performance is excellent! You can eat to your heart's content at a low price. Among the popular sushi izakayas lately, this is the best! Both the a la carte dishes and the sushi were all good. The fish was fatty and delicious. Since it's a popular restaurant, it seems necessary to make a reservation early for groups of 4 or more.

I tried to visit several times but it always seemed full and couldn't get in. The exterior and interior have a clean and beautiful atmosphere. I visited around 5:30 pm and was able to get in, but it seems they have a lot of reservations. The dishes have a refined feel, like the rare meat tofu and sea urchin pudding, which not only look beautiful but also offer great value for money. I also ordered the Sushi platter, which was elaborate and enjoyable in both taste and presentation. I think it's a restaurant with good value for money.

The sushi rice is cooked with soy sauce, so it's okay to eat without adding extra soy sauce. Both the appetizers and sushi were delicious, and the prices were reasonable. Although not a fish dish, the salted chicken karaage is also recommended. The order included: 2 Premium Malt beers, 5 homemade lemonades, uni pudding, lamb meat pie, flying fish sashimi, black seared seven-spice sushi, 2 yellowtail sushi, 2 horse mackerel sushi, 2 mackerel sushi, 2 salt-seared salmon sushi, 2 bluefin tuna belly sushi.

I was curious about this restaurant because I often see it on Instagram! I visited at 9 pm on a weekday and it was extremely popular. The place was almost full, but luckily I managed to get a seat at the counter! They have a wide variety of dishes, but the sushi was the best! The red vinegar rice was fluffy and the tuna sushi was delicious! The medium fatty tuna was the highlight. The iron fire roll and overflowing fatty tuna were also impressive. The salmon roe was plump and tasty! The miso soup was also delicious, with clams which was rare and I had two servings! The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. However, there were some issues with the mobile ordering system and some mistakes in serving the dishes, which was a bit concerning. But the food was so good that I would definitely want to go back again! Thank you for the meal! ^_^

The sushi at this izakaya was so authentic and delicious, it didn't feel like a typical izakaya at all. The restaurant was cute, spacious, and very clean! The drinks were cute, affordable, and there were some good deals. The famous fatty tuna was big and satisfying, highly recommended!

Every time I passed by the store, I was intrigued since its opening, and I tried to make a reservation by calling several times, but it was so popular that it was difficult to get a reservation. Finally, I was able to make a reservation on this day, so I visited for the first time. When I entered the store, there was a counter seat in the middle surrounded by four-person table seats, giving off a stylish and clean atmosphere. The impression of the store was like a neo-izakaya. On this day, there were many young people, especially couples. The atmosphere was quite nice, but there were some dishes that left me feeling disappointed. For example, the corn and shirasu tempura was so hard that it couldn't be cut with the wooden knife provided, and it seemed like it was already fried and reheated, which was a huge letdown. The miso salmon roll (apologies if the menu name is incorrect) also had a lot of salmon roe in the QR menu photo, but what was actually served had small roe on top, which was unexpected. On the other hand, the sea urchin pudding was delicious and had good value, and the seared salmon and squid sushi were tasty despite the slightly firm sushi rice. The minced bluefin tuna with grated yam was also tasty, although the portion was small for the price. Honestly, we felt unsure if we would revisit. So, even though it was a two-hour limit, we left after just one hour. If we were to choose a similar neo-izakaya, personally, I preferred the food at Okamo Club in Nakameguro. The staff were all working hard and had a good vibe, so I hoped the food would also improve. Additionally, as others have mentioned, ordering via QR code could be difficult to connect depending on the smartphone model, as my husband's phone had trouble (mine was fine). Overall, despite the nice exterior and interior, good atmosphere, friendly staff, and convenient location, it felt like a missed opportunity due to the food quality. If only the dishes were tastier, it would have been better. (Please note that this is a personal opinion)

Before 6:00 pm on a regular day in Shinjuku Sanchome. There are countless shops, but in the city center, there are many big misses that can survive with first-time visitors or tourists, which is a scary part. While walking around, trying to decide between here and there, I spotted a stylish little shop. Checking the menu, it seemed like a good deal for this location and atmosphere, so the restaurant for the day was decided! A few minutes later, it was fully booked, and I barely got in without a reservation. I usually start with beer, but this time I couldn't resist the large leaf mojito. The mojito with 5 or 6 large leaves torn in is subtly fragrant with shiso, but it's a bit mismatched with the sweet tonic water it's mixed with. I think it would be better with soda water to bring out the shiso more. After that, I switched to sake. The selection of sake was quite to my liking as well. I saw "Numero Sisake Erotic" on the menu for the first time and was drawn to it, so I ordered it with my friend. The sea urchin pudding had a richer taste of cheese and butter than I expected, and I thought it might be delicious when paired with wine. The raw tuna namero with miso and chopped green chili peppers was refreshing. The rare meat tofu had a good idea, but the meat was a bit hard to chew, and I prefer the tofu seasoning to be a bit sweeter. It was good that I went with someone I was used to, but if I couldn't chew the meat on a first date, I would probably try to drink it all in a hurry. The atmosphere and cost performance were excellent, and we were reminded of the last order for the 2-hour time limit at this popular restaurant, so we finished with sushi and spicy negitoro rolls. The sushi was delicious enough for the price, but the spicy negitoro roll was the spiciest thing I've ever had, and my friend and I ate it while holding our noses and groaning (laughs). The menu has a good selection that hits the spot, so there were still some areas where it could be more delicious little by little, but overall, it was delicious and the service was good, so I think it's a wonderful restaurant to go to as the first stop.

Finally visited a restaurant I had been curious about. I arrived late on the weekend and the place was packed, but after a short wait, I was able to get a seat. I think reservations are a must for this place. The seating is mainly at the counter, and the clean interior had a cozy atmosphere. Even though it's a counter-style restaurant, ordering is easy with QR code scanning. While sushi is the main dish, the sea urchin pudding was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend trying it. The sushi rice is on the smaller side with red vinegar, making it a great option for a second round or other occasions. The fish was fresh and all very tasty. I would love to visit this place again for a more leisurely experience.

On the weekend, I decided to visit a popular restaurant that requires reservations in advance. A friend recommended this place to me, which was a sushi izakaya, a genre I had never tried before. The restaurant had mainly counter seats with a few table seats as well. The interior was very clean and it seemed like a fun place to visit for a date or a business drinking party. They had many specialty dishes like Uni Pudding. One interesting thing was the drink seal. You could buy a seal for 200 yen, but if you ordered a designated drink, they would give you a 100 yen discount. Look for the ★ mark on the menu! For example, green tea cocktail, lemon sour, highball, etc. It was a great deal for me, especially since the seal is valid for the year of purchase. I definitely need to go back to use the seals again! Thank you for the delicious meal!
